Thanks, TTX & Pariah. It's been a topsy turvy few cards. Between Morpheus' pendulum swing and Grogan's match on this last card, I've definitely had some plans blown. Inside baseball: Grogan legit lost to Silvar in like three or four moves. His high pin [7(4)] does him few favors. But I rolled with it and decided to start a program with Mimic and Prince since he had that barn-burner with Mimic on the last card and Silvar has had his own issues with Mimic and Prince in the past as well. Hopefully it'll make for some interesting matchups and take the pressure of Grogan maintaining a winning streak with a thin roster. On the Morpheus side of things, I really am rooting for him to recapture the belt. The Morpheus/Keller program has turned into quite the war and I'll probably start a slow build for their next match at Galactic Wars. The rest of the card is going pretty well and I'm looking forward to pulling some triggers down the line! Thanks again for following the action and commenting. Probably roll out a couple more cards over the weekend!

Star Warrior gets his team a title shot great work there. tough break for the Mighty one. Morpheus with a do-or-die moment pulls it off. but will he be able to do it again when it really matters? can't wait to find out. some telling moments that set the tone and you ever wonder if the dice look at you like "Nope we're going left instead of right" great show

barflymike4ever haha! Those dice have a mind of their own. Sometimes they just look at you with those snake eyes and say "Oh, you thought you were the booker? I've got news for you..." But I know I'm not alone in saying, as frustrating as they can be, they also help to inspire moments of creativity and what would otherwise be a straight line becomes much more interesting with some twists and turns. Thanks for the comments, my friend.

GWF Classics #81: The Main Event 03.09.2080 from Denebola Spiral Arm Stadium, Leo
- GWF News - -Morpheus and Keller went to war in an non-title match on the last Main Event and Morpheus came out on top after a bloody brawl and no less than 4 consecutive TRIPS TO HADES! The message was sent loud and clear and the GWF Board has decreed that Morpheus will get one last challenge for the title in the main event at Galactic Wars! Will he be able to repeat his performance from the last card? Or will he come up short when it counts?
-The GameMasters will face Hechilles & Caiman to determine a #1 contender to the tag team titles. Star Warrior’s impressive performance last week may have reinvigorated the team after Cosmos’ crushing loss to Hechilles. These two teams are among the top tier anywhere in the galaxy. Who will come out on top tonight and make a run at the titles?
-Speaking of the titles, our main event this evening will be a ⅔ Falls match with no time limit! Paladin Power will square off against the Estorians in a fight that could literally establish one team as the best tag team in the history of the GWF. After 15 months, Parsec and Tantalis remain undefeated in tag action and are the current champs, but Paladin Power have proven time and again that they’re one of the best in the galaxy, being former champs. Who will walk out with the titles? And who will they face come Galactic Wars?
-Continuing the evening’s focus on tag team action, Imperial Alliance’s actions on the last card have sparked an uneasy alliance of it’s own between Silvar and the Mighty Grogan! This one could be a war in the making. Ricken Prince has never been one to show respect to his fellow wrestlers, but Grogan doesn’t seem to be the kind that will take that lightly. Will he and Silvar be able to function as a unit? Or will Prince make the Mighty One bow down?
-Omega and Torin Caelum will continue their challenge series with another match that’s sure to have show-stealing potential. The respect between these two runs high and it’s only fitting that Caelum would want to spend the bulk of his final year in the squared circle staring across the ring to find Omega there. They’re all tied up at one apiece, and with the official announcement that they’re in a best of 7 series, the winner tonight will be one step closer.
-Defiance and the Wind Riders engaged in a contest that was ruled a double DQ and tonight Jammer will face Rama in singles action. No doubt with four volatile competitors this match has potential to only add fuel to the fire.
Imperial Alliance vs. and Silvar, Mighty Grogan Ricken Prince defeated Silvar with a ROYAL DECREE at 8:22 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Mimic just might have Grogan's number. He came out with some spectacular kicks and scored a near fall. But Grogan would come back and punish the mime.
Prince came in, tho to halt the offensive, but not to be outdone, Silvar would come in and start to go to work on Prince. It wouldn't last, tho, and some solid tag work by Imperial Alliance led to Prince coming in and hitting two consecutive ROYAL DECREES to get the win over Silvar.
Grogan went in to check on his partner and things devolved from there. Prince and Mimic tried to sneak attack the Mighty One, but he caught them and sent Mimic out of the ring with a stiff lariat! Prince then faced Grogan's wrath.
Imperial Alliance may have won the match, but they certainly lost the war as Grogan stands supreme in the ring.
Jammer vs. Rama Jammer defeated Rama with a BAD NIGHT at 8:11 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Hot, if short, match. They jockeyed for position early, but Rama came out on top and scored a near fall.
He kept the pressure on and when the action spilled out he hit suicide dive that wiped both men out... Blood helped his partner up and Jammer was able to get the advantage.
Back inside Jammer locked in BAD NIGHT, but Tano broke it up and Blood then went after Tano!
Jammer battered Rama and locked in BAD NIGHT again to get the win!
Defiance wasn't through, though! Blood had taken out Tano and then they beat down Rama again.
Blood grabbed a pair of chairs and set them up in the ring while Jammer set Rama up to the top of turnbuckles and the superplexed him from the top onto the upright chairs!
Rama was a broken mess! Defiance had to be run off by officials and medics checking on Rama... He is hurt!
Unbelievable! What a turn... Defiance had been popular going into this, but there's no doubt the fans have turned and the Wind Riders are garnering sympathy as Rama is stretchered out and Tano is at his partner's side.
Despicable actions by Defiance...
[Rama is injured pretty severely and may miss Galactic Wars! The GWF Board is not happy with Defiance and they will be off the next card without pay and may be suspended from Galactic Wars as well!]
- #1 Contender's Match - Hechilles & Caiman vs. The Gamemasters Caiman defeated Star Warrior with a shoulderbreaker at 24:44 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: Unbelievable tag team action. Hechilles and Caiman have clearly stepped it up a notch and their continuity was incredible. Cosmos and Star Warrior had flurries that got the fans on their feet and scored more than their share of near falls, but Hechilles and Caiman were on the offensive for most of the bout.
Hechilles is a wrestling machine and his work early in the match with Cosmos was on par with what we've seen from technicians like Torin Caelum!
Cosmos and Star Warrior were incredibly resilient, though, and would not stay down for long, but every comeback was cut off in short order.
One moment that had the fans at fever pitch saw Star Warrior come back against Caiman and score consecutive near falls! Even applying the CETUS SLEEPER! He made the tag to Cosmos and they hit an incredible double team wheelbarrow suplex into a pinning combo!
Hechilles, sensing danger, broke up the pin, but as the ref escorted him out, Cosmos called for Star Warrior again! Cosmos lifted Caiman into a spine buster as Star Warrior springboards over the top with a leg lariat! Devastating!
But somehow Caiman gets the shoulder up! The GameMasters cannot believe it!
Caiman was able to get out the fire and tag in Hechilles who went to work on Cosmos, but Warrior was tagged in and it went back and forth.
Everyone was beginning to sense that we might have a time limit draw...
Warrior almost had Hechilles with a rolling scissors, but he avoided a dropkick and made a tag to Caiman... Double team power bomb!!!
Caiman picks him up for a huge shoulder breaker and makes the cover! 1, 2, 3!
Hechilles and Caiman are your new number one contenders!
What a match! Warrior and Cosmos have nothing to be ashamed of after a valiant performance, but this was Hechilles & Caiman's night.
[Cosmos - 2 tokens, Star Warrior - 3, Caiman - 4, Hechilles - 2]
Torin Caelum vs. Omega Omega defeated Torin Caelum with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 4:59 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: This series has yielded a pair of great matches and they're split with 1 victory apiece.
Omega kept it on the mat early and it was classic old school action for the 5 minutes we got. Caelum tried to get something started, but the finish came in spectacular fashion as Omega shot Caelum into the ropes and clobbered him with a TOMAHAWK THRUST! Caelum got the shoulder up! But Omega would hit another right away to get the win.
Maybe Caelum is slipping... Either way, it's a best of 7 series and Omega now leads 2-1.
Continuing the them of respect and honor, they shake hands after as Caelum goes to the back clutching his neck and jaw.
- 2/3 Falls No Time Limit - Paladin Power vs. Estorians for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Parsec defeated Moonstrike with an ESTORIAN LOCK at 13:10 Tantalis defeated Moonstrike with a SUPERKICK at 36:03 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: The Estorians prove that there is little doubt as to who the greatest tag team in the galaxy are. Parsec and Tantalis worked the tag and played to their respective styles perfectly. Parsec used a combo of strong mat work and power moves while Tantalis utilized his agility and hi risk offense to keep Moonstrike grounded and tried to relegate Flare to an observer as they punished Moonstrike.
There was a lot of brawling outside, too, including some rule breaking on both teams part, but the ref let them get away with a lot. Moonstrike was a bloody mess after Tantalis hit a springboard DDT to the outside! It's a testament to the Titan's toughness that he was even able to continue.
Eventually, the first fall came when Parsec locked in his dreaded ESTORIAN LOCK for a tap out on the bloody, weakened Moonstrike.
The second fall saw Solar Flare get in the ring and finally get some sustained offense for his team. He went up top for his finisher multiple times, but the PALADIN MISSILE only connected twice and he paid for the misses dearly.
After over half an hour of spectacular action, Tantalis scored big with his SUPERKICK and took out the barely conscious Moonstrike.
The Estrorians retain the tag team titles and their undefeated streak, but they will face the challenge of Hechilles and Caiman at the fifth annual Galactic Wars! Can the oddball combo of Hechilles and Caiman dethrone the undefeated tag champs? Or will we continue to witness a streak of greatness?
[Moonstrike - 8 tokens, Solar Flare - 4, Tantalis - 2, Parsec - 1]
Overall Card Rating: 3.45

Awesome job by the Estorians as they hang onto the tag belts in a marathon encounter... Really enjoying their undefeated streak and looking forward to their next title defense against Hechilles & Caiman... Was a little surprised the Gamemasters were unable to pull out the win in that top contenders match... Stellar performances by all involved...
The heat is building up nicely between Grogan and Imperial Alliance... And it's great to see he's at least found a temporary ally in his fight...
Excellent show!

tough loss for the Gamesmasters. C&H getting a shot should be interesting (damn dice) Omega with another win rather quickly over Caelum. really hoping this doesn't become one sided in victories. Estorians continue to have a tight lock on the tag titles. wondering who will take them off and how much of a fight that will take. awesome show

GWF Classics #82: Road to Galactic Wars V 03.30.2080 from Dione Saturndome, Saturn
- GWF News - -Hot off the heels of a spectacular title defense, The Estorians will prepare to meet Hechilles & Caiman at Galactic Wars for the belts. We’ll get a preview of that action tonight as Parsec squares off with Hechilles and Tantalis takes on Caiman in singles competition!
-Omega was able to hand Torin Caelum a decisive loss in their lost encounter. Tonight, the best of seven series continues and Caelum gets a chance at redemption. Or will Omega come one step closer to clinching the series?
-After the events of the last Main Event, Mighty Grogan has challenged Ricken Prince to a match, but Prince deflected and said he’d have to get through Mimic first… With one win under his belt, albeit hard fought, can Grogan take out the mime to earn a shot at rule-breaker Prince?
-Commander Sam has petitioned the GWF Board for a title shot following Galactic Wars. It’s a gutsy move, but he’s certainly got the wins to back it up. Keller and Morpheus are the only two folks that have beaten him recently, however, and that could play against him. We should know by Galactic Wars or shortly after if the board grants his request.
-Finally, the CrossCurrents return to action tonight with a match against the GameMasters. Star Warrior and Cosmos really need a win here in order to stay in contention after losing their #1 contender’s bout to Hechilles and Caiman.
The Gamemasters vs. The Crosscurrents Star Warrior defeated Vortex with a flying body press at 15:25 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: The Cross Currents looked good early, but Star Warrior was able to bounce back and he and Cosmos went on a tear.
After multiple near falls and a couple of finishers, Cosmos and Warrior hit a double team when Cosmos dropped an elbow and Star Warrior followed it with a huge cross body. He then hit another flying body press for the 1, 2, 3.
Good win for the Gamemasters!
Tantalis vs. Caiman Caiman defeated Tantalis with a Count-Out at 11:16 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Solid back and forth match between these two. Caiman and Hechilles will challenge the undefeated tag champs at Galactic Wars and if Caiman was looking to make a statement he did in the end, but it was not without some controversy.
There was a ref bump halfway through and Caiman was able to wrest control hitting his finisher and a big Mangroveplex, but Parsec would cause a distraction while the ref was down and Tantalis came back.
Things spilled outside and Tantalis when for a big dive, but Caiman caught him with a huge uppercut and then destroyed Tantalis on the outside, finally hitting a double undertook power bomb on the floor to score a count out win.
Vicious move from Caiman to send a statement to the tag champs, for sure.
Mimic vs. Mighty Grogan Mighty Grogan defeated Mimic with a Russian Sickle at 4:05 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: Grogan wants Ricken Prince. Prince is using his partner as roadblock. Grogan demolished the roadblock.
In spite of Mimic's ability to hang with just about anyone, this wasn't one of those nights. Grogan was on offense the whole time and tore the mime from hell apart.
He earns the match with Ricken Prince at Galactic Wars. Prince was out and in the ring "checking" on Mimic, but then hit BOW TO THE PRINCE on Grogan from behind!
Prince stood over the Mighty One and said he better get used to being on his back, because Prince was putting an end to his rookie year at Galactic Wars!
Hechilles vs. Parsec Hechilles defeated Parsec with THE END at 6:15 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Hechilles controlled most of this one, giving his team the psychological advantage going into the title match at Galactic Wars.
He hit all his big moves and looked like he might put him away early, but Parsec came back for brief moment, before succumbing to Hechilles and THE END.
- GWF Galaxian Championship Contract Signing - In a rare move, the board decided to air what would normally be a backstage process.
Three representatives from the board and the GWF's head referee were present as Morpheus and Keller made their way to the ring.
There was a bit of ceremony before Morpheus was handed a pen. He signed the contract then threw the pen across the table to Keller.
Keller, uncharacteristically, began trash talking and telling Morpheus he didn't deserve this. He laid the belt on the table and showed Morpheus his scarred fists as big as cinder blocks. Eventually he signed as Morpheus watched in silence, staring daggers at the champ.
Morpheus turned to leave and Keller kept talking trash...
Morpheus turned to him and the ref tried to get between them as the board member vacate the ring. The ref seemed to have control, but as he backed off Morpheus shot Keller into the ropes and hit TRIP TO HADES through the table!!!!
Morpheus grabbed the title and hoisted it above Keller's body as the ref checked on the champ...
Message sent.
Torin Caelum vs. Omega Omega defeated Torin Caelum with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 15:41 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: With a win here Omega sets up the possibility to win the best of 7 series at Galactic Wars. Torin Caelum will not go quietly, though. His toughness was on full display in this one.
Caelum literally took everything Omega had and more. The action would spill outside and Omega had no problem engaging in a bit of brawling. Back inside he hit 4 COSMIC WAR DANCES in a row... But he had to hit 4 in a row and didn't get the pin! The knees had opened Caelum up, tho and he was wearing the crimson mask.
Somehow, in spite of being out on his feet, Caelum came back and attempted get something going with a big pile driver, but it just wasn't enough as Omega made a comeback from no where and hit the TOMAHAWK THRUST to score the 1, 2, 3.
Amazing display. Will Omega put Torin Caelum away at Galactic Wars? Or will the Sagitta Strangler mount the impossible comeback?
Overall Card Rating: 2.67
