well the Estorians lose singles but its not important as it needs to be done as a tag team. Caelum another good fight with Omega but again loses. shame that the Strangler's farewell tour is suffering loss after loss. still hope he recovers. still think Morpeus getting another shot is wrong as Keller beat him already, there are other contenders and the Natural Disaster hasn't been worthy of yet another shot

barflymike4ever I'm hoping Caelum gets one last great match in. Win or lose. His title reign in 2079 was a good moment on top for him, so wins aren't as important to me right now as quality. We shall see at Galactic Wars! As for Morpheus... You're not wrong. And I was hesitant about giving him the non-title match with Keller, but felt like it made sense. He won, so he gets the shot. But rest assured, if he doesn't win, Morpheus will be taking a big slide down the card. I'm thinking Omega and Sam are the two waiting to have a chance at the top spot. Thanks for the comments guys!

GWF Classics #83: Galactic Wars V
-The 5th annual GWF Galactic Wars promises to be an incredible event! Both major titles will be on the line, a couple of grudge matches will seek to finish feuds, and new challengers will emerge.
-The Estorians put their year-plus undefeated streak and the GWF Tag Team titles on the line against Hechilles & Caiman. The challengers hold singles victories over Parsec and Tantalis, but will the story be different in the tag team title match?
-The Mighty Grogan has taken exception to Ricken Prince’s rule breaking ways. He’s certainly not the first, but can the Mighty One continue to build his reputation by stepping over the villainous Prince?
-Omega is one win away from finishing off Torin Caelum in their Best of Seven series. Can Caelum make a last-ditch comeback? Or will Omega reestablish his dominance with a win here?
-The Gamemasters have picked up a couple wins after sputtering out on their quest for the tag titles. In a last minute announcement, they will face Paladin Power! Should they win, they’ll get their shot at the tag titles!
-In a big grudge match, Tano has requested, and been granted, a match with Blood! Jammer has been banned from the arena and you can bet that the Wind Rider will be looking for vengeance after his partner was injured by Defiance. Tano will have the crowd firmly behind him, something the Wind Riders haven’t had in over a year, meanwhile, former fan favorites Defiance, will get no love for their despicable actions.
-And, finally, Morpheus gets a final shot at the title held by KO Keller. The GWF Board had to give him the shot after he won a non-title match, but they’ve already stated, if he loses, that’s it. No more title shots for the foreseeable future. Can Morpheus regain the title he barely had a chance to enjoy after battling for so long and hard to earn it? He certainly sent a message to Keller with a TRIP TO HADES through a table at their contract signing. Keller has lost a step or two, but he’s still a very dangerous man, proven by his title win. Can the two-time champ put the Natural Disaster away and move on?

Hechlles and Caiman should be quite a challenge for the Estorians. Should be a fun match. Come on Caelum.

GWF Classics #83: Galactic Wars V 04.06.2080 from Titan Sportatorium, Saturn
The Gamemasters vs. Paladin Power Star Warrior defeated Moonstrike with a CETUS SLEEPER at 10:28 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: The Gamemasters are hoping to challenge the winners of the title match tonight, but first they have to get through one of the finest tag teams in GWF history!
They were evenly matched most of the way and there were multiple pinfall attempts. There was some brawling on the outside and Paladin Power wasn't afraid to bend the rules in order to get an edge.
Cosmos struggled, but was able to come back when it counted and make a tag to Star Warrior.
Sensing Moonstrike's vulnerability, he went for the sleeper and kept it locked while Cosmos cut off Flare to secure the win for the Gamemasters!
Cosmos and Star Warrior were motioning for the belts. Will this be the momentum they need?
Ricken Prince vs. Mighty Grogan Mighty Grogan defeated Ricken Prince with an UPPER CRUSH at 4:27 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Grogan vowed to put Prince down and teach him a lesson after breaking rules left and right. Mimic was no where to be seen prior to the match, but after Grogan demolishing him on the last card, maybe he felt it wiser to keep his distance from the Mighty one.
They traded holds early and dropped each other with huge lariats. Prince was able to get up first and then took the match outside!
Grogan fought back valiantly, though, and decided to give as good as he got by whipping Prince in the guardrail and then dropping him ribs first on it!
The fans were going crazy and Grogan rolled him back in and went in for the kill.
He went for the pin a couple of times, but Prince got the shoulder up. He then signaled to the crowd and yelled "Mighty" before locking in the UPPER CRUSH!
Prince tried to fight it off, but Grogan wouldn't let go and eventually Prince had to tap!
Grogan gets the big win!
What's next for the Mighty One? He's cruised past the competition in his rookie year and you gotta believe he wants in the title hunt. Will the GWF put him at the top of the card so early? Or does he have some more time to put in to earn that spot?
After the match Commander Sam came out to shake Grogan's hand. Sam hasn't been around since his brutal match with Mangus at Deimos, but we know he wants a title shot. Does he see Grogan as a threat to that spot or is he genuinely extending the offer of friendship to Grogan?
Either way the two left together as the fans cheered them both on.
Blood vs. Tano Tano defeated Blood with a DEIMOS DRIVER at 13:57 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Blood and Jammer heinously attacked Rama and put him on the shelf for Galactic Wars. Tano wants revenge, but Jammer is serving a suspension, so he's settling for Blood.
This was a damned good match as Tano tried to match the brutal brawling style of Blood with his high impact, high flying style.
They wrestled on the mat in the opening moments, but Blood, sensing his opponent's advantage dropkicked the knee and applied SCAR TISSUE out of no where! Ring position was off, thought and Tano made the ropes.
Tano came back in a big way and hit the DEIMOS DRIVER, but Blood kicked out!
Tano was building a head of steam, but the match spilled outside and Blood avoided a plancha and went to work in his favorite setting.
Tano was in big trouble and Blood was brutalizing him with strikes and attacks. Tano somehow came back out of no where and hit Flashing Daggers! DEIMOS DRIVER!
1, 2, 3! What a win!
The fans popped big for Tano, who only a few months ago was booed out of the building with his partner.
Big win here and there's no doubt that when Rama returns these four will pick up where they left off!
Torin Caelum vs. Omega Torin Caelum defeated Omega with a shoulder breaker at 22:15 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: The stakes were clear on this one. Even though Caelum has declared he’ll be in the Filsinger Cup this year, his best of 7 series with Omega has been a bit of a farewell tour for him. It’s not gone the way he’d have liked and he’s down 3-1.
The match itself wouldn’t be without controversy, however…
They traded holds early and it was clear that both men wanted the edge. They applied some trademark submissions, Caelum’s Death Lock, and Omega’s Abdominal Stretch and Indian Death Lock. Neither man could sustain an advantage though until things spilled outside. Caelum was split wide open after going headfirst into the guardrail! Unaware, he clocked the referee! The ref called for the bell and as Omega and Caelum were still brawling the fans were dismayed to hear that Caelum had been DQ’d!
Unhappy with the result, Omega conferred with the ref and Caelum was seen to by a doctor… It was then announced that the match would continue under No Disqualification rules!
Omega tried to put Caelum away with his finishers, but not even the TOMAHAWK THRUST would do the trick!
Caelum came back after Omega misses charge into the corner and went shoulder first into the post! Omega was hurting bad and Caelum applied his finisher, but Omega wouldn’t give up!
Caelum hit a shoulder breaker and scored a nearfall! Blood in his eyes, but seeing Omega’s left arm hanging limply, Caelum hit another shoulder breaker and scored a 1, 2, 3!
Torin Caelum has scored a huge win on a grand stage! The Best of 7 series will continue! - 2/3 Falls - Estorians vs. Hechilles & Caiman for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Caiman defeated Tantalis with a Cobra Clutch Suplex at 4:26 Caiman defeated Parsec with a shoulder breaker at 15:57 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: The Estorians stand undefeated, but Hechilles and Caiman have had their number in singles competition. Parsec and Tantalis looked good early and worked the tag and double team on Hechilles, but it wasn’t enough and a timely tag to Caiman would change the course of the match as Caiman got the pinfall on Tantalis to build momentum!
The second fall was back and forth for a while, but again the Estorians used their teamwork to wear down Hechilles, in spite of Hechilles hitting THE END at one point.
Just when it looked like the Estorians would even the match up, though, Hechilles came roaring back with a double clothesline, avoiding the double-team! A tag brought in Caiman and he was able to score the fall on Parsec to win two straight falls and win the tag team belts!
The Estorians incredible 14 month undefeated streak has come to a close and we have new champs! Hechilles and Caiman celebrate as the fans cheer them on.
Hechilles & Caiman won the Galaxian Tag Team Championship
- 2/3 Falls Titan Death Match - Morpheus vs. K.O. Keller for the Galaxian Championship K.O. Keller defeated Morpheus with THE TEN COUNT at 26:42 Morpheus defeated K.O. Keller with a TRIP TO HADES at 36:54 K.O. Keller defeated Morpheus with a running forearm hammer at 43:37 Match Rating: 4.75 Match Notes: This was not for the faint of heart! It all came down to this match for Morpheus. If he failed in his bid to regain the title from Keller, the GWF Board has stated that he would not be granted a title shot for the foreseeable future, if ever!
They traded holds and strikes early on with neither man willing to budge. It wouldn’t take long for frustrations to mount and the action to spill outside. Still, neither man could hold on to the advantage until Morpheus came roaring out of the corner with a lariat! He began building steam and scored the closest damn near fall we’ve seen all night after a Natural Disaster!
Somehow Keller came roaring back, though and evened things up with a nasty KO Heart Punch.
Action would spill outside again and Morpheus was able to use it to his advantage… TRIP TO HADES! But it wasn’t enough and neither were two more! The crowd was shocked and Morpheus was livid! This strain of resilience has been a hallmark of Keller’s career, though. He’s tougher than a two dollar steak and wouldn’t stay down!
He came back and hit a wicked looking chicken wing suplex on the outside! Morpheus was out of it and there’s little doubt that if the match had been contested under normal rules, he’d have been counted out.
Back inside Keller was able to pummel him with flurry after flurry and then hit THE TEN COUNT to score the first fall.
Morpheus was busted open, but came roaring back and hit multiple Natural Disasters and scored more than a couple of near falls.
The action was outside again, but this time Morpheus was on the offensive and soon Keller was wearing the crimson mask to match Morpheus!
Back inside Morpheus went high risk and scored with a big elbow drop before hitting another TRIP TO HADES to even the match up at one fall apiece.
The final fall was back and forth inside as both men seemed to be running on empty until it spilled outside and spent most of the rest of the match out there. They brawled all over the ringside area, both men bleeding and exhausted. Keller was able to get the advantage and dropped Morpheus with another chicken wing suplex on the outside!
Keller rolled the barely conscious Morpheus back in and loaded up and creamed him with a running forearm hammer to score a decisive 1, 2, 3!
KO Keller retains the Galaxian Championship in a bloody, brutal, hard-hitting brawl. And Morpheus has seen the door close on his championship opportunities…
That’s a night for us here at Galactic Wars! Overall Card Rating: 3.63

Thanks TTX! It was a little disappointing for me that Morpheus couldn't capitalize on his final shot, but Keller is tough as nails and his striking game is so strong. He's been a standout for my Classics fed. Time for Morpheus to start taking his storyline backseat and I might give him his downgrade sooner than later, thought I do have a couple thoughts for possible singles feuds that keep him out of the hunt. I love Caelum and was glad to see him pick up the win, too. Can he win two more to take the series and head into the Filsinger Cup strong? I was also happy with Tano topping Blood. Unexpected, but it helps the story between the Windriders and Defiance grow in a new direction for sure. Thanks for the comments!

Looks like some solid matches went down. Bummed Morpheus couldn't pull off the win, but he'll be back! 👍
