Pariah I have a feeling your voice will be heard. After that stone cold classic, the GWF would be crazy to not sign the rematch. As eager as fans are to see the Gamemasters get their shot, we need a decisive finish between these two teams first!

This is a classics fed Ive enjoyed following and 'The Main Event' solidified me as a mark for TigerSamurai's EC fed.
That main event was absolutely unreal. The Estorians might be my favorite official team from the EC sets so it was a bummer to see them come up short after taking the champs to the limit. A rematch definitely needs to be signed, like yesterday! Lol
Grogan easily handeling Mangus is a surprise and I love Commander Sam at the top guys in the GWF. The EC sets dont allow him long enough of a reign at the top of tje fed before his 2087 downgrade.
Great stuff. Loving the read and looking forward to more.

Thanks a lot, Brandon. The Estorians are a great team and I've loved their run so far. It's funny that only Hechilles and Caiman have given them trouble. I had high hopes for the two of them as singles stars, but they've not been able to get much started, as a team, however, they earned their first taste of gold.
Grogan has been hot since his debut, really. But even I'm a little surprised Mangus went down so easily. After losing two straight falls to Keller, Sam needs to regroup and Grogan might just be his way back into the title hunt.
Appreciate you following along!

BREAKING NEWS:
GWF Officials have announced that on the next Main Event Omega of Cetus will challenge K.O. Keller for the Galaxian Championship!
It will be Omega's first shot at the title in over a year. The two time champion has a chance to make history yet again by becoming a 3 time champion.
First, however, he'll have to go through the tough as nails K.O. Keller. Keller has been outstanding recently and is clearly at the top of his game.
It's also been announced that the brackets for this year's Filsinger Cup will be revealed at the top of the next Main Event and the tournament will begin on following card.
Ticket sales have been brisk at events throughout the galaxy in recent months, but there's little doubt that this will be a sell-out! Don't delay in purchasing your seats to the matches!

GWF Classics #86: The Main Event 06.09.2080 from Nereid Sport Plex, Neptune
-The Filsinger Cup is right around the corner and GWF Officials have released the brackets with one exception. Two blocks of 4 and the winners will face off at CLIMAX for the right to challenge for the Galaxian Championship at Star Bash.
-Block A:Commander Sam, Torin Caelum, Hechilles, ?
-Block B:Mighty Grogan, Morpheus, Ricken Prince, Moonstrike
-That question mark will be penciled in with either K.O. Keller or Omega depending on the outcome of the Galaxian championship match.
-Some may be surprised by Moonstrike's name making the brackets, but he's picked up a few quality singles wins that put him over others that many counted on seeing in the tourney. We'll have more Filsinger Cup news before the next card!
-The Estorians will have another shot after the war on the last card, but tonight it’ll be Tantalis taking on Caiman and Parsec battling Hechilles.
-A bombshell announcement took place after the last Main Event that Omega would challenge K.O. Keller for the title! That will be our main event tonight. Can Omega become a 3 time champion? Or will Keller make another successful defense in his second title run?
-Mighty Grogan sounded indifferent to Sam’s challenge on our last card, but tonight the match that didn’t take place will finally happen tonight.
-And, to kick things off, The CrossCurrents and Imperial Alliance will continue their rivalry in tag action tonight!
Imperial Alliance vs. The Crosscurrents Vortex defeated Ricken Prince with a DQ at 4:36 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: The Crosscurrents came out fast and furious and scored big with WATERY GRAVE on Ricken Prince! Mimic broke the pin up, but Thetis and Vortex were relentless. They smelled blood and hit a beautiful double team neckbreaker and then followed it with another WATER GRAVE, but again Mimic was able to break up the attempt.
Action spilled outside and Prince, hurting and in trouble, capitalized on the environment and drew the DQ after ignoring the ref's warnings to bring it back inside.
The fighting continued for a moment after the bell and it's clear that these four are no where near being done!
Thetis and Vortex called for a return match, but this time they wanted No DQs!
Caiman vs. Tantalis Tantalis defeated Caiman with a roll-up at 5:18 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: Great little match. The see-saw didn't tip often, but when it did it was a big turn of the tides!
Tantalis came out hot with a SUPERKICK out of no where, but it wasn't enough to finish Caiman.
He scored another nearfall with the finisher, but again, Caiman kicked out.
Tantalis was frustrated and mounted the top for a second time, but Caiman caught him with a big belly to belly off the turnbuckle showing off his agility in spite of size!
He hit a mangroveplex for a nearfall and another for another 2 count!
Caiman would whip Tantalis into the corner, but the Estorian moved and then rolled up Caiman for a quick surprise pin!
Impressive win for the Estorian. Will Parsec be able to continue the momentum for his team when he takes on Hechilles next?
Hechilles vs. Parsec Hechilles defeated Parsec with a Russian Leg Sweep at 9:32 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: These two matched up so well. Parsec, even in a losing effort, could make a run in the singles division if he wanted to after this one.
They see-sawed back and forth the whole way, but it looked like Parsec would run away with it after dropping Hechilles with a face slam on the concrete floor.
Clearly hurting, Hechilles was able to sweep away the cobwebs and mount a comeback that saw him secure the win after a devastating belly to back release suplex and a Russian Leg Sweep for good measure.
At one a piece in singles competition, and in such close matches, there is no clear favorite going into their tag team title match on the next Main Event!
[This was such a good little match that felt very real, but a low roll (3) got Parsec in the end. Enjoying this rivalry a lot!]
Mighty Grogan vs. Commander Sam Mighty Grogan defeated Commander Sam with an UPPER CRUSH at 4:45 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Wow! Mighty Grogan has shown a whole new attitude since being attacked by Mangus a couple of card ago. He tore Mangus apart with ease and gave no quarter. Tonight was little different.
He crushed Sam with an avalanche at the bell and looked to have full control, but a desperation roll up out of the corner gave Sam a little breathing room. But Grogan kept coming back with high impact moves and punishing Sam's back and midsection.
It was sufficient enough because he would apply the UPPER CRUSH and Sam had no choice but to tap out in order to avoid injury to the back.
Grogan grabbed the mic after the match...
MG: I've beaten everyone put in front of me! No... better than that, I've crushed them! I will continue my path of destruction all the way to Star Bash! And whether it's K.O. Keller or Omega, you're looking at the new Galaxian champion come August!
Can the Mighty One capture the gold in his rookie year? He's been impressive, only dropping one match to Silvar in what most see as a fluke. There's no doubt he's a favorite for the Filsinger Cup, but he'll have to deal with the best competitors in the GWF to take home the trophy and the title shot at Star Bash.
- 2/3 Falls - Omega vs. K.O. Keller for the Galaxian Championship K.O. Keller defeated Omega with THE TEN COUNT at 22:03 Omega defeated K.O. Keller with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 0:46 Omega defeated K.O. Keller with an Indian Death Lock at 38:39 Match Rating: 4.75 Match Notes: Omega enters this match on the verge of history. Can he become a 3 time Galaxian Champion? K.O. Keller has seen his second reign as champion be far more successful than his first. Does he have what it takes to keep that going into Star Bash?
If the man for Cetus had anything to say about it, it looked like not. In 46 seconds of the first fall, Omega scored with the TOMAHAWK THRUST and got the 1, 2, 3!
Keller was shocked, but he didn't let it get to him. He came back slowly, but mounted his offense in the second fall.
The action started to get heated and spilled outside! They brawled around the ringside area and Omega was busted open! Keller kept after him with strikes and it was a bloody affair as Omega was soon wearing the crimson mask!
The former 2 time champ kept coming back, though and soon Keller was bloodied himself!
Seeing red, the current champ, rallied back in this see-saw battle, and struck with a second TEN COUNT to even things up at 1 fall a piece a little over 20 minutes into the match.
Both men, suffering from blood loss, and teetering on exhaustion gave their all, but the story quickly became Keller's right knee. Omega had worked it over with the Indian Death Lock multiple times in the night. Keller may have miscalculated by using his flying knee, but Omega came back and was able to add to the punishment.
Still, the champ wouldn't stay down. The finishing stretch saw them go back and forth with multiple reversals, but Keller made a costly mistake going for a leg drop and Omega was able to capture the leg and synch in the Indian Death Lock yet again!
Blood streamed down both men's faces as Omega applied more pressure to the hold... Risking injury, Keller had no choice but to tap...
The fans exploded as Omega captured his 3rd Galaxian Championship! Incredible!
The bloody champion offered his hand to the former champ and Keller, equally bloodied, hesitated, clearly disappointed and barely able to stand... In the end, the sportsmanship wins out and they shake and Keller raises Omega's hand in victory. And incredible scene to close out this historic night.
Overall Card Rating: 3.30

Yesssss! Happy to see OMEGA OF CETUS toting the hardware again! What a match! Can’t wait to see the Filsinger Cup. Block A just got a little tougher with KELLER thrown in the mix. Should be interesting.

SonOfZeus that match really could've gone either way, but Omega is back at the top of the mountain. It's been nearly 2 years coming and almost 18 months since he'd had a shot. Keller, of course, is no joke and he'd love to repeat as a 2 time F-Cup winner. The only F-Cup winner. Thanks for following along!

TTX I know you were pulling for Keller. It was a shock to see him go down so quickly in the first fall, but the way he bounced back, I thought he had a great shot at retaining. They're pretty evenly matched, honestly and Keller's 4(1) pin rating usually gets him out of some tough scrapes. In the end he had 5 tokens to Omega's 4 and Omega never hit another finisher after that first one either. Hechilles is a great card, but unfortunately he's never been able to gain much steam in singles competition. Now that he holds the tag titles it'll be interesting to see what he can do in the F-Cup. I almost didn't include him, but he's still ranked pretty highly. Thanks for reading!
