TITLE CHANGES AND DRAMA ON DELPHINUS JACK OF DIAMONDS WINS THE BIG ONE The USWF’s first ever card at the Marishula Gridiron Field of Delphinus was held on October 20, 2112. By the end of the evening, Jack of Diamonds had claimed the USWF Heavyweight Title, the long reign of Upper Class as tag team champions had ended, and one wrestler chose to leave the federation.
In the main event, Jack of Diamonds took on the USWF Heavyweight Champion Raven in a Titan Hardcore Match. One week earlier, a title contest between the two had ended with Raven’s disqualification, and the champion, swearing that the disqualification was unintentional, readily agreed to the Titan Death Match rules.
The rematch on Delphinus began with Raven in control. Shortly into the contest, the action spilled out onto the arena floor, where the two long-time friends became more and more aggressive. When they returned to the ring, Jack responded to a whip into the turnbuckle with a “Death Vise” from which Raven was unable to escape, winning the match in just over four minutes.
“It’s been a great year for me,” said Jack of Diamonds, who earlier in 2112 won his first singles title ever by claiming the Interstellar Belt. “I’m happy to have finally won this after so many years. Raven in a terrific competitor, and my hat is off to him. I’m honored to have taken the belt from him tonight.”
Raven accepted the defeat calmly. “I hate to lose, but I am happy for Jack,” he said. “Everyone knows that Exo-King and I have been close for many years now, and I’ve watched Jack develop throughout his career. I’ll worry about getting the title back later. Tonight, I just congratulate him.”
In the tag team title match, Upper Class (Varsity and Witherspoon) put their reign of over a year on the line against Charon and Scorpio, the team called "Blackout." The match was a brutal and exciting affair that lasted for nearly twelve minutes. The advantage shifted numerous times, with both teams escaping near defeat. Marikel Magnifique, the manager of Upper Class, saved the titles for his men twice, but in the end Witherspoon went down to a “Darkness Falls” from Scorpio, giving Blackout the victory.
Charon and Scorpio, who held the GWF Tag Team Titles briefly in 2109, won the USWF belts for the first time in their careers. The title reign of Witherspoon and Varsity ended after thirteen months and forty one successful defenses, the second longest reign in federation history.
Earlier on the card, another important moment took place after a match between Predator and Reckless Abandon. The contest was a surprisingly tough battle, with the half-Aethran Predator getting all he could handle from the wild, risk-taking younger wrestler. Both men were bloodied and weary when Reckless was finally disqualified, giving Predator the win.
After the bell, a battered Predator stood staring at his beaten opponent for a long moment, then slowly extended his hand. Reckless Abandon, who has spent his career as a member of the villainous Agents of Fortune, looked stunned, but after a brief pause he reached out and accepted the handshake. The two men spoke quietly in the ring for over a minute before leaving separately.
After the card, Reckless Abandon announced that he was leaving the USWF. “no one’s ever showed me respect like that before,” the former hardcore champion explained. “Predator said I could be a star if I wanted to, but never by hanging around with the team I’m on. He gave me a lot to think about. Look, I’m done here anyway, and I know it. Our team is getting killed in Sudden Death. Dagger Mack and Homicide will never accept exile themselves, so they’ll kick me out in two months anyway. I might as well leave now. They can banish me if they want to. I need some time to get my head on straight, maybe a lot of time. But this is not the last you’ll see of me. I’ll be back in wrestling one day, and I’ll be better than ever. You can count on it.”
SUDDEN DEATH UPDATE The two biggest of the USWF’s 2112 Sudden Death contests remain very tight races, with Penthouse Suite just slightly ahead of the Star Defenders and Rebel Forces having pulled in front of the Gladiators. Complete Sudden Death standings are as follows:
Penthouse Suite (Colossus, The Dominator, Tarloc, Romulus, Taurine) leads The Star Defenders (Lance At-Las, Black Hawk, Pathfinder, Charon, Scorpio) 63-60.
Rebel Forces (Raven, Predator, Wrath, Lycanthrope, Scar) lead The Gladiators of Aethra (Venom, Mayhem, Blitz, Ravage, Rush) 64-56. (Note: two of the losing wrestlers will be banished in this contest.)
The King’s Court (Jack of Diamonds, Zed Marlowe, Zouave, Muss, the Bomb) leads Primary Colors (Maccavity, Doctor Payne, Lycosa, Varsity, Witherspoon) 71-56.
The Guardians (Kati, Angst, Holocaust, Saboteur, Shylock) lead the Agents of Fortune (Dagger Mack, Homicide, Reckless Abandon, Painmaster, Tocsin) 67-40.
Death Row (Stargazer, Chupacabras, Hurricane, Skyfire) leads Cassandra’s Army (Mace, Dynamo, Hammer, Powerhouse) 46-34.
The Savage Kingdom (Halcón Oro, Gila, Talon, Wildcat, Karah) leads The True Way (Talisman, Indigo, Bishop Hell, Death’s Head, Erebus) 63-61.

TAG CHAMP INJURED IN WILD BRAWL Blackout’s very first defense of the USWF Tag Team Belts they won from Upper Class on October 20 turned out to be a Pyrrhic victory just six days later at the Bellatrix Constellation Dome.
Charon and Scorpio faced their arch-rivals the Penthouse Punks in their initial defense of the newly won belts. At the four minute mark of the contest, Charon went down to the “View from the Top.” Scorpio made the save, and as Taurine argued with the referee that he should have had a three count, Charon caught him with his “Abandon All Hope” finisher. This time Romulus made a pin save, but Scorpio tagged in and followed immediately with a “Darkness Falls" to score the win.
After the bell, Scorpio continued to hammer Taurine. Both tag team partners joined in, and soon the Dominator and Tarloc arrived to help the Punks while Lance At-Las and Pathfinder ran in to defend Blackout. In the brawl that followed, Scorpio suffered a severely bruised shoulder and a ligament strain in his right knee. The immediate diagnosis was that he would likely miss the remainder of 2112.
Surprisingly, Commissioner Grogan did not suspend any of the members of Penthouse Suite. “I regret that Scorpio was injured,” said the commissioner, “but if you watch the video, you’ll see that he was the one who continued his attack after the bell and who started the melee. Things got out of hand, but Scorpio was a more than willing participant. I’m not suspending anyone in a situation like this.”
In spite of Scorpio’s injury, Grogan also chose not to vacate the tag team belts. “Blackout has indicated to me that at this time they do not plan to relinquish the titles,” he explained. “They will therefore be subject to the same rules as any other title holder. They have to take on a challenger at least once every fourth card. Some of those matches may be non-title, but if they lose two non-title matches, the must then put the belts on the line against one of the teams that beat them in their next match. If Scorpio wants to fight with his injuries in order to try to hold on to the belts, that’s his decision. I may also allow another member of the Star Defenders to substitute for Scorpio, but that will be subject to my approval for each match.”
MACE TOPS WRATH FOR HARDCORE BELT Mace surprised the USWF by defeating Wrath to win the Hardcore Title on October 31 at the Milky Way Cathedral of Polaris.
The championship match was randomly chosen as a Four Weapons of Destruction Contest. Mace dominated the action, hammering the powerful half-Aethran champion with every weapon he could reach. Wrath never managed to get any real offense going before the referee declared him unable to continue.
“I guess he wasn’t so unbeatable after all,” Mace commented. “I beat him in a cage before, and now this. Maybe now people will talk about how scary I am and stop blabbering about Wrath. He’s done. I’m in. That’s it.”
Wrath gave a different view. “Mace always has had a big mouth,” he said. “Right now I’m focused on winning Sudden Death. But if I decide I want that belt back, I’ll take it back. Count on it.”
INTERSTELLAR TITLE TOURNAMENT HELD The USWF’S Interstellar Championship became vacant on October 20 when Jack of Diamonds, then the holder of the belt, won the USWF Heavyweight Championship. Commissioner Grogan therefore announced that the November 5 card at the Europa Garden of Jupiter would be dedicated primarily to a tournament to fill the title. Results of the card at the Europa Garden were as follows:
Interstellar Title Tournament Round One The Dominator defeated Holocaust when a “Shock Wave” backfired Dagger Mack downed Mayhem by disqualification Raven hammered Blitz with a “Bladerunner” Colossus defeated Painmaster with a “Robotic Deathblow” Halcón Oro beat Homicide with a shooting star press Tarloc blasted Pathfinder with a “Tarloc Tombstone” Venom downed Maccavity with a “Snakebite” Lycanthrope put down Chupacabras with a “Savage Face Claw”
Interstellar Title Tournament Round Two The Dominator beat Dagger Mack with a “Painful Domination” Raven pinned Colossus with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker Tarloc hammered Halcón Oro with a dragon suplex Lycanthrope upset Venom with a Savage Face Claw
Special Challenge Match Hammer defeated Hurricane with a “Hammer’s Lock”
Titan Death Match Bishop Hell burned Gila with a “Hellfire”
Interstellar Title Tournament Round Three The Dominator stunned Raven with a “Painful Domination” Lycanthrope defeated Tarloc with a “Lupine Leap”
Non-Title Tag Team Match The Troubleshooters downed Charon and Lance At-Las, who was substituting for the injured Scorpio, by hitting Lance with a “Trouble Times Two,” thus earning a shot at the tag team titles.
USWF Heavyweight Championship Match USWF Heavyweight Champion Jack of Diamonds defeated Mace by disqualification
Interstellar Title Tournament Final The Dominator has had a poor year in 2112, but on this day he lived up to his name, pounding Lycnathrope with a “Painful Domination” to win the vacant Interstellar Title for the second time in his career.

THREE RELEASED FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSE VIOLATIONS On December 2, 2112, USWF Commissioner Grogan announced that the federation had voided the contracts of Hurricane, Skyfire, and Stargazer.
“This is a painful moment for all of us,” Grogan stated. “Hurricane and Skyfire were members of this federation when we began back in 2099, and Stargazer has also spent many years with us. But we have definitive evidence that all three men have violated our substance abuse policy. This is something we will not tolerate. In truth, this is not the first infraction for any of the three, and all have been given more than enough chances to change their behavior. Since they have been unable to do so, as of this moment none of these men is employed by the USWF. We wish them the best of luck in straightening their lives out.”
MASKED MAN ATTACKS HUNTERS, LOWER WORLD An unexplained incident took place at the Northern Cross on December 5 as a tag team match between the Lower World and the Hunters of Prey was interrupted by a masked man with a metal pipe.
The Lower World, whose True Way team was leading the Savage Kingdom in Sudden Death, appeared to have the match in hand when the unidentified interloper stormed the ring. Swinging his weapon wildly, the masked man threatened both teams but did not actually connect with any of the wrestlers as he drove them from the ring. The referee called for the bell and declared the match no contest, thus depriving the Brymstone team of an apparent victory.
After the bell, the masked man sprinted into the crowd and out of sight. However, five days later on Fire Island he reappeared, once again interfering in a match between the Hunters of Prey and the Lower World. This time Death’s Head had just hit the “Funeral March” on Wildcat and seemed to have the match won when the interloper jumped into the ring. The masked man swung his pipe at Death’s Head but missed and hit Wildcat. The referee therefore disqualified the Lower World for outside interference, giving the Savage Kingdom a Sudden Death point that tied their matchup with the True Way at eighty points each going into the final supercard of the year.
No one has yet found any clue as to the mysterious attacker’s identity. However, True Way leader Talisman was irate after the Fire Island card. “We would have won Sudden Death by now if not for this maniac,” he stormed. “But at the supercard, I’ll fix it. We are going to have one match to settle this: Bishop Hell against Talon. And I will be at ringside myself with the Bishop to make sure there is no interference this time.”
USWF HOLDS AWARD BANQUET The USWF held its annual awards banquet at the Callisto Civic Auditorium of Jupiter on December 15, 2112. USWF Majority Owner Magnus Colby attended, as did all of the USWF’s active wrestlers and managers. Guests in the audience at this year’s banquet included GWF Commissioner Morpheus, GWWF Commissioner Sandrisa Tralington, Wolf, Amazonia, Pegasus, Commander Sam, Lord Nexus, Supernova, Rising Sun, Nora Pelf, Paragon, Massif, Aethran Minister of War Vengeance, and others.
The evening began with USWF Commissioner Grogan presenting the annual achievement awards. The winners were as follows:
Wrestler of the Year: Colossus The cyborg had an up and down year, but he was the federation’s heavyweight champion from the beginning of the year until July and is set to challenge for the title again at the Center Stage Spectacular Supercard. His overall record was 29-20. Runners-up: 1. Jack of Diamonds (the current USWF Heavyweight Champion also held the Interstellar Title in 2112 and had a great 39-13 record); 2. Halcón Oro (in his best year ever, had a 29-12 record and has held the Cruiserweight Title since August).
Tag Team of the Year: Upper Class Varsity and Witherspoon finally lost the tag team titles in October after holding them for over a year. Their overall record was an excellent 34-16. Runners-up: 1. The Troubleshooters (Top contenders all year with a 27-19 record; 2. Blackout (Charon and Scorpio finally ended the title reign of Upper Class and had a 16-13 record)
Top Newcomer: Indigo In a year with very few candidates for this award, Indigo had a 16-20 record and some impressive wins.
After the awards were complete, the commissioner addressed the Sudden Death banishments. “Most of our contests are already decided,” he stated. "The only two that are still in doubt are the Star Defenders against Penthouse Suite and the Savage Kingdom against the True Way. Both of those will be decided tomorrow night at the supercard.
“The matchup between the Guardians and the Agents of Fortune has long since been settled. Since Reckless Abandon already acknowledged the Agents’ defeat and accepted banishment, we have nothing more to announce on that one.
“Although I was forced to fire most of the Death Row team for substance abuse violations, they still defeated Cassandra's Army handily. I was tempted to void this contest due to the firings and the controversy. However, Cassandra informs me that Powerhouse has decided to retire and is willingly accepting the banishment. Powerhouse, you have been a great performer for many years. We thank you for all of the great moments you have given us, and we wish you nothing but the best.”
After a round of applause for Powerhouse had subsided, the commissioner continued. “The King’s Court has also handily defeated Primary Colors. Marikel has informed me that Maccavity has agreed to accept the banishment for his team. This is an important decision. Maccavity has been a member of this federation since the beginning in 2099. He is a three time heavyweight champion, a four time interstellar champion, a two time cruiserweight champion, a former wrestler of the year award winner, and one of the leaders on our all time victory list. No one has been more important to this federation. Maccavity, if it is time for you to go, we wish you all the best, we thank you for the excitement you have provided, and we hope to see you come back some day.”
Maccavity received a thunderous round of applause from the audience, friends and foes alike. When it finally subsided, Grogan spoke again. “Finally, in the past few weeks the Rebel Forces have pulled away from the Aethrans to assure their victory. The agreement for this contest was that two wrestlers from the losing team would be banished and that Venom would be one of them if the Aethrans lost. Tomorrow night will therefore be Venom’s last match in the USWF for at least two years. Vengeance has asked that he be allowed to name his other banished wrestler tomorrow at the supercard, and I have agreed.
“I believe that concludes all of our business tonight. It’s been a great year. Let’s end it right with a great card tomorrow. We will see everyone there.”

A NIGHT OF TWISTS, TURNS, AND FAREWELLS CENTER STAGE SPECTACULAR X The USWF’s tenth annual Center Stage Spectacular Supercard took place on December 16, 2112 at Jupiter’s Callisto Centroplex before a sellout crowd of over 56,000 fans. Special guests in attendance included GWF Commissioner Morpheus, GWWF Commissioner Sandrisa Tralington, Commander Sam, Wolf, Amazonia, Lord Nexus, Paragon, Pegasus, Rising Sun, Supernova, Nora Pelf, Johnny Rocket, Massif, and Vengeance. Results of the card were as follows: The Lower World defeated the StormtroopersTime: 4:30 The first match of the card was the final match for Powerhouse, who had previously announced his retirement after accepting banishment for his team’s loss in Sudden Death. Death’s Head put the big man away with a “Halloween Hack” to score the pin. After the final bell, Hammer, Dynamo, and Cassandra all embraced Powerhouse in the ring as they said goodbye. Talon defeated Bishop Hell by DQTime: 0:07 This contest was the deciding match in the Sudden Death feud between the Savage Kingdom and the True Way. Talisman, dressed in street clothes, accompanied Bishop Hell to the ring to prevent outside interference. However, when the bell rang, Talisman leaped onto the ring apron, pulled a lead pipe from inside his jacket, and knocked Talon flat, forcing the referee to call for a disqualification. As a stunned Bishop Hell stared at him, Talisman smiled and called for a microphone. “I guess this means we lost Sudden Death,” the True Way leader said. “A shame. And you have no idea how hard I had to work to lose it.” Still smiling, he reached inside his coat again and pulled out the mask that had been worn by the mysterious interloper who had interfered in matches between the Lower World and the Hunters of Prey to even the Sudden Death score. “I didn’t like attacking our own teammates, but I was on a mission. I made an arrangement with some friends, and I could not let them down.” To the surprise of everyone, three men stepped out of the backstage area and onto the entry ramp, all of them smiling. They were the Mad Jester, Necros, and, though he looked much older than when he was last seen in a wrestling arena, The Royal Overlord. “Now, down to business,” Talisman continued. “We lost Sudden Death, so we have to banish someone. As team leader, I choose Bishop Hell. And since you’re already banished from the GWF for life, I guess this means you're done for good. Mission accomplished, and all of us you have betrayed in the past get our revenge. Goodbye, you loser.” The Bishop simply stared in shock, unable to respond. Talisman left the ring and shook hands with his three co-conspirators. After a few silent moments, the crushed Bishop Hell walked away as well, putting an end to one of the most notorious and legendary careers in wrestling. The Watchmen defeated the Hunters of PreyTime: 12:17 The Hunters put up a tremendous fight, but in the end Karah went down to Painmaster’s Impale Clothesline. After the final bell, Karah and Wildcat exchanged words, and their altercation intensified when Wildcat slapped Karah’s face. Terak had to separate the tag team partners and lead them to the backstage area, once again leaving the fans stunned at the unexpected develoment. Torture Chamber Match for the Hardcore TitleKati defeated Mace (c)Time: 9:09 Both of the competitors were bloodied and horribly beaten by the finish of this brutal match, which finally ended when Mace climbed the bars and missed a deathjump, allowing Kati to knock him out and claim the Hardcore Championship for the second time. Falls Count Anywhere MatchLycosa over Zed MarloweTime: 4:12 Lycosa won the latest match in this intense feud with a “Black Widow’s Bite” on the floor. Upper Class over Theater of Pain by DQTime: 3:30 Varsity and Witherspoon got the win when Tragedy was disqualified on the arena floor. Cruiserweight Title MatchHalcón Oro (c) defeated GrungeTime: 0:41 A few weeks earlier Grunge had upset Oro in a non-title match, but this time the champion had no problem catching his foe with an “Ave de Rapina” to retain his belt. Total Anarchy MatchDagger Mack defeated AngstTime: 4:52 The leader of the Agents of Fortune totally dominated this match before winning it with a power bomb on the floor. The Penthouse Punks defeated Espionage with Bounty Hunter as the refereeTime: 5:41 The Punks claimed the win when Saboteur went down to a “View from the Top.” After the final bell, Bounty Hunter called for the ring microphone. “I have had a great time working as the head referee in the USWF,” Hunter said. “But I have some other projects I need to work on. I therefore gave my resignation to Commissioner Grogan earlier today. This was my last match as a referee here. I thank everyone for all of the good times, and I hope to see all of you again soon.” Interstellar Title MatchLycanthrope defeated The DominatorTime: 5:34 The Dominator seemed to have control early in this contest, but the son of Wolf came back to hit “The Howling” and win the Interstellar Title for the fifth time in his career. Six Man Tag Team MatchPredator, Raven, and Scar defeated Rush, Blitz, and Mayhem by DQTime: 7:07 This was a tough and exciting match until nearly seven minutes had passed, when Blitz and Mayhem managed to draw Raven and Predator away from the ring in a brawl on the floor. At that point Vengeance leaped out of the crowd and threw Rush a sharp metal spike. Rush turned and immediately drove the spike into Scar’s knee with all of his strength. Scar fell to the ground screaming, blood pouring from his shattered kneecap. The referee called for a disqualification, and Raven and Predator quickly ran back to their fallen teammate's aid, but the young Aethran was clearly injured very severely. Then Vengeance took the microphone. “Betraying your Aethran brothers is a bad idea,” the Minister of War stated. “Scar just found out what the price for that crime is. Now, I want everyone to notice that Mayhem and Blitz were nowhere near the ring when this incident happened. They had nothing to do with it. Of course, someone may want to suspend Rush. But before that happens, I have an announcement. The Gladiators lost Sudden Death here this year. The deal was that Venom and one other wrestler would be banished. I can now announce that Rush will be banished with Venom. So go ahead and suspend Rush; I have another project in mind for him, so he is leaving anyway. You’ll see him again in a few years..” With a sick smile, Vengeance led Rush away from ringside. Scar was carried out on a stretcher, his mangled leg perhaps damaged beyond repair. Lepus Stun Rod MatchPathfinder defeated MaccavityTime: 5:33 In his farewell match, Maccavity took on one of his long-time rivals and almost pulled out the win. The two USWF legends may not be what they once were, but they put on a great fight until Pathfinder connected with a devastating sit-out power bomb. After the bell, the fans, led by Pathfinder, gave Maccavity a huge ovation. Titan Hardcore MatchBlack Hawk over TarlocTime: 3:46 Black Hawk caught Tarloc in an Indian Death Lock, winning the match and claiming the Sudden Death victory for the Star Defenders over Penthouse Suite. After the bell, Colossus, the Penthouse Punks, the Dominator, and their manager Vascor entered the ring. “Having lost Sudden Death, we must now announce who will be banished,” Vascor began. “The Penthouse Suite wrestler who will be leaving the team is . . .” “Tarloc!” Colossus snapped, grabbing the microphone away from Vascor. “Tarloc will be banished.” “Wait a second,” Tarloc protested. “I had a better year than the Dominator, and he lost his belt tonight. Why me? Why not him?” “Because he won’t protest our next move,” Colossus answered, “which is to fire your former partner and our useless manager, Vascor. We don’t need either of you. Now get out of our sight. You’re history here.” Tarloc stood fuming in the ring. Slowly he nodded. “Fine,” he said. “But I’ll be back one day. And I’ll be gunning for you. All of you. Count on it.” Tag Team Championship MatchBlackout (c) defeated the TroubleshootersTime: 4:05 Scorpio entered this match still suffering from a serous injury, but the champions were forced to defend their titles. Surprisingly, Charon did all of the work, never tagging out as he managed to catch The Bomb with an “Abandon All Hope” to retain the belts for his team. Flamsteed Street FightWrath over VenomTime: 6:15 Venom’s last match before being exiled for two years ended when Wrath landed two consecutive “Gladiator Killers” for the win. USWF Heavyweight Championship MatchJack of Diamonds (c) defeated ColossusTime: 7:52 Jack followed a “Jacked Up’ with a “Black Diamond” to claim the victory and hold on to his title. Wrap-Up: The wild evening was typical of USWF year-end cards. As always, the Aethrans’ match provided drama, but so did many other moments. After the card, Black Hawk announced that he would be leaving the USWF. “I’ve had a great time here,” he stated. “I’ve done about all I can do. There are other opportunities for me out there, and I want to go after them. You may see me again. This federation will always be special to me. But for now, it’s time to say thank you to everyone for all of the great years and move on.”

SURPRISES AT USWF OPENING PRESS CONFERENCE The USWF held its year-opening press conference for 2113 on January 25, the day after the conclusion of the GWF’s Galaxy Cup tournaments, in the press room of Colby Palace on Planet Colby. Commissioner Grogan conducted the event. Also appearing on stage were USWF majority owner Magnus Colby and representatives each of the USWF’s teams. Most of the federation’s active wrestlers were in the audience along with the media. “Welcome back, everyone,” Grogan began. “We’re looking forward to a great year. Before we get started with the team announcements, I have one item to present.
“As you all know, our head referee Bounty Hunter retired at the end of 2112. Bounty Hunter served us very well for many years, and we wish him the best. To replace him, I have hired an experienced referee from the GWF and an old friend. Welcome our new head official, Billy Jo Boxer.”
As Boxer stepped out onstage to the applause of the audience, Grogan turned the microphone to the first team presenter, Exo-King. The microphone was then passed among the presenters as each spoke.
Exo-King, Manager, King’s Court: “In addition to Jack of Diamonds, Zed Marlowe, and Zouave, we have a new addition. His name is Sentinel, and he will team with Zouave as ‘The Protectorate.’ And, having won our Sudden Death feud last year, we are now setting our sights higher. This year we are stepping to the top of the federation to take on Penthouse Suite.”
Kati, Team Leader, The Guardians: “Holocaust has decided to leave us, and our bodyguard, Brave, has retired. That leaves me and Espionage. At the request of my teammates, we will be taking on Upper Class and whoever they can find as a teammate.”
Cassandra, Manager, Cassandra’s Army: “As you all know, Powerhouse has retired, and Dynamo has left our team. But we have a new man, Kulak, who will work with Hammer. Hammer will now be known as Molotok, and their team will be called the Pekhota. And of course, we are still led by Mace.”
Holocaust: “Yeah, and I’m sick of Mace, so I’m coming after him. Halcón Oro and Lycosa have re-formed the Masked Marvels to take on your tag team, Cassandra. We’ll be happy to test out your army.”
Marikel, Manager, Penthouse Suite: “Yes, I am now the manager of the elite team in the USWF. We lost Tarloc to Sudden Death, but we still have Colossus, The Dominator, and the Penthouse Punks. We’ll crush Exo-King and his group of wanna-bes.”
Unknown Soldier, Manager, Star Defenders: “Black Hawk has left the federation, as you know. That leaves us with the tag team champs, Charon and Scorpio, and well as Lance At-Las and Pathfinder. We’ve decided to focus on the Agents of Fortune this year.”
Dagger Mack, Team Leader, Agents of Fortune: “Well, we have a surprise for you, Soldier. As singles wrestlers, you’ll still have to deal with me and Homicide, two of the best ever in this federation. Marcel de Sade is still with us as a bodyguard. And we have a new tag team, straight from the GWF: The Ninja Assassins have agreed to join us this year. Tell your men to enjoy those tag titles while they can, because they won’t have them for long.”
Terak, Manager, Savage Kingdom: “Our team is in a bit of confusion right now. You all saw the incident between Wildcat and Karah at the end of last year. I have not heard from Wildcat in three weeks. So for now, Karah and Talon will team up as a new version of the Hunters of Prey, and Gila will continue in singles action as we wait to hear from Wildcat.”
Silver Ace, Manager, Primary Colors: “Since Marikel jumped ship and left Primary Colors behind, and since most of my team was fired at the end of last year, I am the new manager of Primary Colors. Our team still has the best tag combo in the federation, Witherspoon and Varsity, the team of Upper Class. And I am happy to say that Painmaster has agreed to join us this year as a singles competitor.”
Phantasy: “It is time to announce the greatest new team assembled in this federation in many years. We will be known as 'The Phantastics.' In addition to my Troubleshooters, we have signed an all star line-up of singles wrestlers: The Aethrans Mayhem and Blitz and the cruiserweight star Chupacabras.”
Incredible Badger, Manager, Untamed Warriors: “We saw this coming, and my men are ready. Predator and Wrath left for the GWF, and Scar may never recover from the horrible knee injury he suffered at the final card of last year. But we still have Raven and Lycanthrope to fight Mayhem and Blitz. As a tag team, we have signed Theater of Pain, since they have a history of problems with the Troubleshooters. And to fight Chupacabras, we are bringing back a major star in this federation who sat out all of last year. Welcome back Crow to the USWF.”
Commissioner Grogan then took back the microphone. “I think that takes care of everyone here on stage. The True Way chose not to send a representative, but Talisman informs me that he and Indigo will be joined by Angst this year. The Lower World has broken off and will form a new team with a newcomer named Mourn. The Musketeers, Palishandor and Shanramore, will continue as an independent tag team. Gordo and Bust Up will fight as independents, as will, from time to time, Necros. I have not heard from Dynamo or Grunge . . .”
Suddenly a voice broke in from the back of the room. “That’s because they’re with me!”
Wildcat stepped forward from the crowd, accompanied by Grunge and Dynamo. “Say hello to the final team in the USWF this year. I’m sick of Terak and his losers. This is my team. No more ‘Savage Kingdom.’ We are the ‘Civilized Beings,’ and we’ll tear Terak’s lame troops apart.”
“Well, that’s an interesting way to end this press conference,” Grogan stated. “I may be able to announce one more independent wrestler soon, but that is still in negotiation. This is our roster at present. Thank you all for coming, and we will see you tomorrow at Colby Palace for our first card of the year.”

JACK RETAINS TITLE AT FIRST USWF CARD The USWF held its first card of 2113 on January 26 at the Colby Palace. Results of the card were as follows:
Talisman defeated Mourn Time: 3:01 The True Way leader spoiled the new Brymstone wrestler’s debut with an “Amulet Drop.”

Zed Marlowe defeated Wildcat Time: 4:35 In another fine match, Zed scored the win over a much improved Wildcat with a Z-Bomb.
The Ninja Assassins defeated Espionage Time: 3:39 The Ninjas made a strong statement regarding their quest for the USWF tag team belts by dominating Espionage as Shylock went down to a “Double Edged Sword.”

The Penthouse Punks defeated the Protectorate Time: 7:50 Zouave and Sentinel gave this match all they had, but both were beaten badly when Sentinel finally went down to a “View from the Top.”
Chuacabras defeated Cruiserweight Champion Halcón Oro Time: 3:43 This non-title match was a good fight, but Chupa outlasted the champion and got the win with a “Bloodsucker.”

USWF Heavyweight Title Match Jack of Diamonds (c) defeated Dagger Mack Time: 3:41 Dagger Mack had been the hottest wrestler in the federation at the end of 2112, but Jack had little trouble with him in this contest as he got the win with a “Black Diamond.”

PUNKS TAKE USWF TAG TITLES The Penthouse Punks won the USWF Tag Team Championships for the second time by defeating the defending champions Blackout at the Olympus Moons Acropolis of Mars on February 16, 2113.
The Punks started the match well by beating down Scorpio early and controlled the action for over six minutes, with both members of Blackout surviving more than one near fall. Eventually the champions fought back, and the advantage swung back and forth several times over the next seven minutes. All four men were battered and bruised as the match wore on.
Around the fourteen minute mark the champions hit “Total Blackout” finisher on Romulus and seemed to have the match won. However, as Taurine distracted the referee, the Punks’ manager Marikel Magnifique slipped into the ring and flattened Charon from behind with a blackjack. The referee did not see the interference, and moments later the Punks hit the “View from the Top” on the nearly unconscious Charon to score the win and claim the titles.
Blackout’s title reign lasted four months but included just four title defenses due to injuries suffered by Scorpio in late 2112. The Penthouse Punks’ only previous title reign came in 2109 and lasted for two months.
“They stole those belts from us,” raged Blackout’s manager, the Unknown Soldier, after the card. “It was a tough match, I’ll give them that, but we had them down. The Punks didn’t beat us; Marikel did. But it’s a long way from over. The Punks aren’t good enough to hold onto those titles. They won’t have them long, and we’ll be right back after them as soon as we can.”
SURPRISE ARRIVAL STUNS USWF The expected return of a well-known superstar shocked the USWF on a card at the Enceladus Horizon on February 16.
USWF Heavyweight Champion Jack of Diamonds handily defeated Chupacabras in the main event. After the final bell, a familiar masked man carrying a club knocked down Exo-King at ringside and attempted to attack the champion. Jack fought off the interloper and sent him dashing back into the crowd.
“Splatter?” Jack of Diamonds wondered after the card. “What is he doing here? I thought he had disappeared. I don’t know what his problem is with me, but I’ll deal with him. He’s not what he once was, but he’s still nuts, and he still has that club. I’ll be looking over my shoulder."
A day later, Splatter spoke with a reporter. “I’m not quite ready to retire yet,” the lunatic explained, “and I have some old scores to settle here. I never did like the King or his boy Jack, so that seemed like a good place to start. But Jack won’t be the last. It’s lottery time again. I’m gonna have some fun before I quit.”
Exo-King had a somewhat stronger reaction than his son. “What the hell is Grogan thinking, allowing that psycho in here?” the King stormed. “First Mayhem, and now Splatter? Is the commissioner just trying to create chaos? Doesn’t he have enough problems to deal with? Nothing good is going to come of this.”

USWF STAR CHALLENGE 2112 The thirteenth annual USWF Star Challenge Supercard took place at Fire Island on March 3, 2113. The event includes two tournaments, one for singles wrestlers and another for tag teams. The USWF commissioner’s office determines which wrestlers will be included in each tournament, with all matches in both tournaments fought under no disqualification rules. The Challenge also traditionally features a Battle Royal for wrestlers not invited to participate in the tournaments, with the winner receiving a shot at the Interstellar Title.
Tag Team Tournament Round One The Penthouse Punks, Upper Class, Blackout, and the Troubleshooters all received byes.
In a terrific match, the Pekhota outlasted Theater of Pain when Molotok finally hit the “Bayonet” on Tragedy after nearly fifteen minutes of back and forth action. Espionage also got a great challenge from the Masked Marvels but pulled out the win when Shylock pinned Halcón Oro. In other matches, Protectorate downed the Lower World and the Ninja Assassins finished off Talon and Karah.
Singles Tournament Round One In the best match of the first round, Painmaster took out Mayhem to advance. Other matches included USWF Heavyweight Champion Jack of Diamonds winning after a surprisingly tough showing by the newcomer Mourn, Dagger Mack over Lance At-Las, Mace eliminating Pathfinder, Colossus over Angst, Raven blasting Chupacabras, Lycanthrope downing Gordo, and The Dominator defeating Kati.
Tag Team Tournament Round Two The Protectorate scored a huge upset over USWF Tag Team Champions The Penthouse Punks in an excellent match that went for over nine minutes before Zouave finally hit the “Death Be Not Proud” on Romulus.
Upper Class (Varsity and Witherspoon) rolled over the Pekhota in less than two minutes as Varsity hit the P.C. D. on Molotok..
Blackout (Charon and Scorpio) outdueled Espionage as Saboteur went down to the “Total Blackout.”
The Ninja Assassins surprised the Troubeshooters as The Bomb fell to the “Double Edged Sword.”
Singles Tournament Round Two Dagger Mack stunned USWF Heavyweight Champion Jack of Diamonds with a “Back Stab” to advance in the tournament. Dagger Mack dominated the champion for almost five minutes before scoring the win.
Mace crushed Painmaster in just two minutes with a “Dead to Rights.”
Raven triumphed over arch-rival Colossus with a “Bladerunner.”
USWF Interstellar Champion Lycanthrope put away the Dominator in just over two minutes with “The Howling.”
Tag Team Tournament Semi-Finals Upper Class defeated the Protectorate Time: 3:25 The two-time defending tag team of the year finished off Zouave with a “Halo” to advance to the tag team tournament final for the third time in four years, having finished as runners-up in 2110 and 2112.
Blackout defeated the Ninja Assassins Time: 3:12 Charon and Scorpio hit the “Total Blackout” on Hydrax to reach the tournament final for the first time.
Singles Tournament Semi-Finals Dagger Mack defeated Mace Time: 1:58 Dagger Mack, who had lost all three of his matches in 2113 prior to the tournament, reached the finals by taking a quick advantage outside the ring and knocking out Mace with a “Back Stab.” The long-time USWF mainstay had made it to the final only once before, when he won the tournament in 2019.
Lycanthrope defeated Raven Time: 5:44 In an excellent match between two teammates and friends, Lycanthrope hit ”The Howling” to score the pin and reach the tournament final for the first tie in his long USWF career.
Battle Royal Holocaust triumphed over nine other wrestlers to earn a shot at the Interstellar Title. Time: 15:44 Order of elimination was as follows: Dynamo by Crow Wildcat by Gila Gila by Palishandor Bust Up by Palishandor Necros by Palishandor Shanramore by Crow Palishandor by Crow Grunge by Holocaust Crow by Holocaust
Tag Team Tournament Final Upper Class defeated Blackout Time: 2:50 Matches between these bitter rivals are frequently classics, but on this occasion Charon and Scorpio seemed to run out of gas and Charon went down quickly to the “Halo.” Varsity and Witherspoon thus won the Star Challenge for the first time and will receive a shot at regaining the belts they held for over a year from September 2111 to October 2112. Singles Tournament Final Lycanthrope defeated Dagger Mack Time: 4:14 The son of GWF legend Wolf finished off a tremendous performance by claiming his first Star Challenge Championship as he crushed long-time rival Dagger Mack with “The Howling.”
Final Notes: Lycanthrope refused to put a time table on when he would receive his opportunity to win the USWF title, but he assured the media he would take the title shot. “Jack of Diamonds and me are friends, but that don’t mean I’m gonna back off against him,” the son of Wolf stated. “Jack and Exo-King will understand that. I don’t know when, but I will take my shot, and I’ll give Jack all I got in the ring.”
Although he has had a disappointing year so far in 2113, Raven performed well in reaching the semi-finals. His win over Colossus was a major victory for him.
Palishandor put in a stunning performance in the battle royal. The man often viewed as the weakest undercard wrestler in the federation managed three eliminations, all with help from his brother Shanramore, before he was finally thrown out himself.

HOLOCAUST CLAIMS INTERSTELLAR TITLE Holocaust took full advantage of the interstellar title shot he had earned by winning the battle royal at the Star Challenge as he defeated Lycanthrope for the belt at the Triton Pavilion of Neptune on March 8.
Holocaust had been unranked going into the Star Challenge and had won only two of seven matches in 2113. However, he quickly claimed the title opportunity granted to him after his battle royal win, asking for his shot just five days after the supercard.
Lycanthrope dominated most of the match and seemed to have his challenger beaten, but the son of Wolf made a critical mistake when he missed a deathjump on his downed opponent. Holocaust, acting almost out of instinct, slapped on a full-power “Shock Wave” that knocked Lycanthrope unconscious and then covered him for the pin.
Holocaust, a one-time GWF Heavyweight Champion, won his first title of any kind in the USWF. Lycanthrope, whose most recent championship reign lasted for three months, did not appear distressed by his loss.
“I’ll give Holocaust credit for taking advantage of my mistake,” the Animan said. “He deserved to win tonight. But I also know I can beat him. Right now, though. I’m focused on my title shot against Jack of Diamonds for the heavyweight title. In fact, maybe that was my problem tonight. But it doesn’t matter. I’ll settle things with Jack, and when that’s over, if I’m not the champ, Holocaust will see me again.”
JACK, PUNKS HOLD OFF STAR CHALLENGE WINNERS USWF Heavyweight Champion Jack of Diamonds and USWF Tag Team Champions The Penthouse Punks successfully defended their titles against the winners of the Star Challenge Tournaments on separate recent cards.
The Punks made their defense at the Europa Garden on March 19 against Star Challenge Tag Team Tournament Winners Witherspoon and Varsity. The match was a tough fight for both teams, but in the end Witherspoon went down to the “View From the Top.” After the card, Varsity seemed discouraged with his team’s performance.
“We’ve been the best tag team in this federation for two years,” Varsity complained. “We beat everyone. We held the belts for over an entire year. And now we can’t beat the Punks? The rotten Penthouse Punks? Something is not working. Maybe me and Witherspoon are coming to the end of our run.”
On March 24, Jack of Diamonds put his title on the line against Star Challenge Singles Tournament Winner Lycanthrope at the Heroes Memorial Hall of Perseus. The two wrestlers put their friendship aside and engaged in a physical contest before Jack connected with his “Jacked Up” finisher for the win, leaving Lycanthrope once again a step short of winning the federation championship.
“Jack beat me tonight. Nothing else to say about that,” the son of Wolf stated after the card. “But it was one match. He’s a great champion, but I’ve been waiting years to get that belt, and I’m not gonna stop trying until I wear it. Me and Jack been friends for a long time, but this ain’t got nothing to do with friendship. I’ll earn another shot, and next time that title is mine.”
Also on the Heroes Memorial Hall card, the Penthouse Punks lost a terrific non-title match to Theater of Pain. Both The Troubleshooters and Theater of Pain have now defeated the tag team champions in non-title matches in recent weeks.
PREVIEW: UNIVERSAL BATTLEGROUND The USWF will hold its second annual Universal Battleground Supercard at the Shrine of the Flaming Star of Aurigae on April 9, 2113. Matches announced for the card at this time include the following: Halcon Oro vs. Grunge for the cruiserweight title Dagger Mack vs. Angst in a Flamsteed Street Fight Espionage vs. Ninja Assassins Kati vs. Painmaster in a Mensa Table Match for the Hardcore title Dominator vs. Lance At-Las in Falls Count Anywhere Match Raven vs. Mace in Castor Chain Match The Troubleshooters vs. The Protectorate Holocaust vs. Mayhem for the Interstellar Title The Penthouse Punks vs. Theater of Pain for the USWF Tag Team Titles Jack of Diamonds vs. Colossus for USWF Heavyweight Title

UNIVERSAL BATTLEGROUND 2113 The USWF held its second annual Universal Battleground supercard at the Shrine of the Flaming Star of Aurigae on April 9, 2113. The main event for card was set to feature USWF Heavyweight Champion Jack of Diamonds defending his title against Colossus. In other title matches, USWF Tag Team Champions the Penthouse Punks would put their belts on the line against Theater of Pain, Interstellar Champion Holocaust would face the challenge of Mayhem, Hardcore Champion Kati would meet Painmaster in a Mensa Table Match, and Cruiserweight Champion Halcón Oro would defend against Grunge.
Full results of the card were as follows:
The Pekhota defeated the Lower World by disqualification Time: 4:39 The opening contest of the evening ended when Death’s Head hit and knocked out the referee, giving Cassandra’s Pekhota team the DQ win.
Cruiserweight Title Match Grunge defeated Halcón Oro (c) Time: 3:46 Oro, one of the top wrestlers in the federation in 2112, continued to struggle in 2113 as Grunge connected with a “Guitar Shot” that gave the long-time tag specialist the first singles title of any kind in his career.
Between matches, Colossus spoke to USWF interviewer Qualitar about his upvcoming title match. “Jack of Diamonds is no real champion,” the cyborg scoffed. “I had that belt for six months last year until I was cheated out of it. I’ve been a champion here and in the GWF. No one here can match me—not Jack, not Raven, not Lycanthrope, not anyone. Tonight I’m taking back what belongs to me.”
Flamsteed Street Fight Dagger Mack defeated Angst Time: 3:56 Dagger Mack dominated the younger wrestler and won the match with a pin on the floor after a power bomb off of an interview platform.
Lepus Stun Rod Match Wildcat defeated Zed Marlowe Time: 2:46 This short but wild match ended when Wildcat hit the “Thrill of the Kill.”
The Ninja Assassins defeated Espionage Time: 3:43 The Ninjas remained hot and Espionage continued to struggle as Shylock went down to a “Double Edged Sword.”
Circinus Cell Match Pathfinder defeated Homicide Time: 5:52 The two wrestlers who own more victories than any other in USWF history squared off in this brutal contest that ended when Pathfinder blasted his long-time rival with a “Ceres Crunch.”
Mensa Table Match for the Hardcore Title Kati (c) defeated Painmaster Time: 4:34 Painmaster started fast and had control early, putting Kati through all three of the tables at ringside, but the challenger could not finish his opponent off and Kati finally scored the win with the “Samoan Revenge” to retain his belt. After the final bell, Splatter stormed the ring and attacked the champion. The two men battled to a stand off before security separated them.
Cosmic Cage Match Chupacabras defeated Crow Time: 4:54 This wild high-flying contest between two hardcore cruiserweights ended when Chupa pinned Crow after a deathjump.
Between matches, Kati was interviewed by Qualitar. “I have no idea what Splatter thought he was doing,” he said. “There’s a reason they call him the lunatic. I don’t know what made him attack me, but I’m sure not backing down from him. If he wants me, I won’t be hard for him to find.”
Titan Hardcore Tag Team Match Upper Class (Witherspoon and Varsity) defeated Blackout (Charon and Scorpio) Time: 3:06 Witherspoon was in trouble early but came back to nail Scorpio with an “Upper Crust” for the win.
Falls Count Anywhere Match The Dominator defeated Lance At-Las Time: 3:55 The Dominator scored the victory in this tough match after suplexing Lance through a chair in the audience.
Castor Chain Match Raven defeated Mace Time: 5:02 This contest was perhaps the most brutal and bloody on the card as the two one-time W. A. R. teammates battered each other mercilessly until Raven landed the “Bladerunner” for the win.
The Troubleshooters defeated the Protectorate Time: 5:14 The latest installment in this growing rivalry ended when Muss pinned Sentinel with a corkscrew dive. After the bell, the two teams continued to brawl until Muss suffered an ankle injury that is likely to keep him out of action for at least three weeks. Sentinel was given a ten day suspension because of the incident.
Interstellar Championship Match Mayhem defeated Holocaust (c) Time: 9:21 This title match turned out to be the highlight of the card. Both wrestlers fought well in back-and-forth action for nearly ten minutes. Holocaust have perhaps his most impressive performance in years, but Mayhem finally hit the “Leap of Doom” to score the pin and claim his first title in the USWF.
Barbed Wire Cage Match Lycanthrope defeated Blitz Time: 3:45 The son of GWF legend Wolf was simply dominant against his larger Aethran opponent, ripping into Blitz from the opening bell and bloodying him badly before putting him away.
USWF Tag Team Championship Match Theater of Pain defeated the Penthouse Punks (c) Time: 2:40 The veteran tag team Theater of Pain wasted no time in hammering down the champions, and Tragedy finished off Romulus with a “Tear Jerker” to give the masked men their third USWF tag team title reign.
USWF Heavyweight Championship Match Jack of Diamonds (c) defeated Colossus Time: 1:10 Jack roared out of his corner and leveled the challenger immediately, taking complete control and ending the match quickly with his “Jacked Up” finisher.
Universal Battleground Wrap-Up: Three titles changed hands on the supercard, and many of the matches featured great action . . . Unfortunately, the main event was over almost before it began as Jack of Diamonds had no problem with Colossus . . . The Penthouse Punks saw their tag title reign end less than two months after they won the belts . . . Grunge’s victory to claim the cruiserweight title was a shock to nearly everyone, and his teammate Wildcat seemed less than pleased with the situation. “I deserve to have a title,” the former Savage Kingdom member announced. “Grunge and me may be teammates, but I don’t much care who I have to fight to put gold around my waist” . . . Splatter offered little explanation for his attack of Kati after the card, saying only, “This has been a very long time coming. If he doesn’t know why, he’s an idiot.”
PATHFINDER TOPS MAYHEM FOR IS STRAP USWF legend Pathfinder of Ceres defeated Mayhem at the Windchime Theater on April 30, 2113 to claim the Interstellar Title for the third time in his career.
Pathfinder, an eight time USWF Heavyweight champion and second on the federation’s all-time victory list, pounded the Aethran titleholder from the opening bell. The powerhouse from Ceres had to fight off interference by Mayhem’s teammate Chupacabras, but he never relinquished his advantage and finally ended the contest with a standing suplex.
Mayhem’s first title reign in the USWF ended after a mere three weeks. Pathfinder became Interstellar champion for the first time since 2104, when he held the belt for seven months.
