(Show opens with highlights from last week focusing on the plethora of injuries. Thock fracturing DSC’s arm, Cypher slamming Shylock’s head into the second turnbuckle, Stigma’s uchi mata face-plant that earned Pendekar the Knockout of the Night & Dominator’s neck strain resulting from Saboteur’s punishing kata gatame.)

(As the highlights conclude Commissioner Hood appears at the top of the ramp & makes his way into the ring.)

Hood: “Tonight ye shall witness the first APOCALYPSE. Allow me to introduce to ye the harbinger of doom: President Prodigy.”

(Prodigy appears at the top of the ramp & is greeted by a chorus of boos. He makes his way into the ring & offers to shake hands with Jack Hood. Hood slaps his hand away. Prodigy takes the mic from Hood with a smile.)

Prodigy: “Thank you Commissioner Hood. (The crowd boos even louder) Thank you everyone. (Hood prompts the crowd to even louder displeasure) I wanted everyone to understand my position here. To be clear, the P.O.W. does not support the abuse of women, or the mistreatment of its talent. Thock, I know you are listening in the back: Please allow me to apologize on behalf of Commissioner Hood & the P.O.W. for the treatment you have received since you arrived here.”

(Hood levels a glare at Prodigy that would melt plasteel. Prodigy doesn’t appear to notice.)

Prodigy: “I was placed here to balance Mr. Hood’s tendency for…violent aggression. I have the power to overturn any ruling he might make that is against the best interests of the organization.”

(Hood is beside himself with fury, pacing from corner to corner behind Prodigy. The crowd begins to chant: “Hood…Hood…Hood” driving the fury of the Commissioner even further.)

Prodigy: “I want Commissioner Hood to know that I am not here to step on his toes, instead, to work with him to improve the quality & competition that exists within the organization. That is not to say that Commissioner Hood is incompetent; merely that he is…uncivilized.”

(That did it: Hood snaps & roars at Prodigy from behind, his bad arm still in a sling, but intent on removing the head from Prodigy’s body. Prodigy was expecting exactly that & smoothly slides away under the ropes, pointing to head as if to say: “I’m too smart for you.”)

Hood: “President or no, tonight ye have made me an enemy.”

(Hood throws down the mic & leaves the ring.)


GAMMA BEAST² defeated HYBRID² by SUBMISSION
::RND 1::
Beast charged for a running spear & bounced right off of Hybrid. Beast leaped on Hybrid’s back & hammered away until, finally, Hybrid went down. A leaping stomp smashed Hybrid’s head into the mat but Beast was unable to keep him down. Beast leaped on Hybrid’s back again & this time got thrown into the turnbuckle. As the round ended, Beast got another takedown & added another leaping stomp that left Hybrid reeling as the bell sounded. (10-9 Gamma Beast)

::RND 2::
Beast bounced from foot to foot, smacking his fists together, as he waited for the round to begin. Hybrid charged across the ring with a wild elbow strike & ran right into a vicious uppercut & was submitted with a neck crank. (:47)


CANNIBAL³ defeated NIGHTMARE⁶ by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
Cannibal attacked the second Nightmare appeared with frenzied punches & seemed to be inside his opponent’s head because each time he tried to dematerialize, Cannibal threw a strike exactly where he rematerialized, piling on 6 brutal tokens. Nightmare finally scored at the 4:00 mark with a great high kick & a Blast of Mist but Cannibal finished strong with more frenzied punches. (10-8 Cannibal)

::RND 2::
Nightmare opened with a high kick that forced Cannibal into the clinch. Once there, Cannibal pulled guard & tied up Nightmare until the ref stood them back up. Once standing again, a jumping hook kick ended the fight with a knockout. (:36)


(Camera goes into the back where we see Mayhem facing off with Rage.)

Mayhem: “I don’t want any trouble from you Rage. I just want to fight.”

Rage: “Traitor, there is only one reason why I’m here. I’m here to finish you.”

(Rage walks away, shoulder bumping Mayhem as he goes.)


ABSALOM² defeated INDIGO² by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
Indigo opened well & even rocked Absalom with a right high kick but once Absalom made it inside, the round was his. Absalom scored repeated takedowns & used his elbows & knees to dominate. (10-8 Absalom)

::RND 2::
Indigo hit another right high kick that put Absalom on the mat & pounced looking to finish him. Absalom rolled him onto his back for some strikes before he stood back up. When they closed back into the clinch they traded strikes before Absalom took a step back & hit a roundhouse kick that knocked Indigo out. (2:40)


ANARCHY² defeated SENTINEL⁵ by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
They circled for a few seconds & Sentinel hit a straight right hand & got taken down immediately with a double leg sweep. On the mat, Anarchy was a beast with brutal punches from the mount. Sentinel rolled Anarchy into an armbar & ate even more punches for the remainder of the round. (10-8 Anarchy)

::RND 2::
Sentinel threw caution to the wind with 2 huge overhand rights that stunned Anarchy. He tried a fireman pickup & drop but Anarchy stuffed that attempt & hit a drop toe hold to get him on the mat & finished him with mounted punches. (3:39)


(Camera goes into President Prodigy’s new office (formerly Commissioner Hood’s office). Sitting across from him is Pandra Nicole.)

Prodigy: “Miss Nicole, please accept my most sincere apologies for your treatment here. Commissioner Hood’s behavior was intolerable & inexcusable.”

(Miss Nicole starts to speak but Prodigy continues...)

Prodigy: “While I cannot undo the things that were done to you, I can assure you that such treatment will never again happen within the confines of the P.O.W.”

(Miss Nicole again tries to speak & Prodigy presses on once more…)

Prodigy: “I have arranged for your transportation home, at our cost of course. I have also arranged for a substantial amount of funds to be transferred into your accounts. I trust that you find these things acceptable?”

(Miss Nicole waits for a moment to ensure that Prodigy is, in fact, finished. She calmly rises from her chair & slaps Prodigy across the face & leaves his office without a word.)


RUBICON² defeated WRAITH² by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
Wraith tried a quick kick but Rubicon caught it & turned it into a single leg takedown. On the mat Rubicon drove knees & elbows into Wraith’s ribcage. Wraith snagged an arm for a rolling armbar & kept rolling with it for :30. Rubicon stood up, his arm still trapped in the armbar & picked Wraith up for a massive slam that put Wraith out. (1:59)


BLAZING SKULL³ defeated TRICKS⁵ by SUBMISSION
::RND 1::
Blazing Skull obviously didn’t take Tricks seriously & got rocked by a brass knuckles shot, a loaded boot & the Joy Buzzer before he finally rolled into the mount & started working his elbows. Tricks made it back to his feet only long enough for the biggest move of the fight so far: a spring hip throw from Blazing Skull. (10-9 Blazing Skull)

::RND 2::
Tricks closed into the clinch & Skull took him down with a double leg sweep. After the takedown it took less than a minute for Blazing Skull to submit Tricks with a keylock. (1:54)


(Camera goes into the back where we see Thayne & Ahnu being pulled apart by security.)

Thayne: “…if you refuse to free my children, you Jardiil scum! I will extract blood from you tonight.”

Ahnu: “You are doomed Thayne…DOOMED!”


MAYHEM⁵ defeated RAGE³ by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
Rage surprised Mayhem with a right cross combo that rocked him & caused a scramble. Mayhem bodylock slammed Rage & rocked him with knees to the head. Rage rolled into guard & stood back up. They traded a few shots before a snap kick, right uppercut put Mayhem on the mat. Mayhem blasted away from the bottom & Rage slipped to a heel hook as the bell sounded. (10-9 Rage)

::RND 2::
Mayhem opened a cut under Rage’s eye with an overhand right & dominated the opening 2:00 of the round. At the 2:05 mark, Rage landed his first strike of the round & Mayhem quickly knocked him out with a cross elbow strike. (2:07)


UFO⁵ defeated RAIJIN⁵ by DECISION (29-28)
::RND 1::
UFO dominated early getting an early takedown & pounded Raijin relentlessly. Raijin was nearly finished but finally rolled into top position for a few strikes before UFO rolled back into the mount. Raijin scrambled away & got back to his feet & then came on strong at the end of the round. (10-9 UFO)

::RND 2::
UFO was focused on striking in this round & Raijin was on the defensive. Back elbows & muay tai knees dominated the round & Raijin only managed 2 counter-strikes, one early & one as the round ended. (10-8 UFO)

::RND 3::
WOW! Raijin exploded out of his corner with knees, elbows & claws & scored his best shot with a flying knee. For 3 minutes, Raijin battered away at UFO in sheer dominance. With only a minute to go, UFO scored his only strikes in the round, before Raijin launched his final attempt at a finish as time expired. (10-8 Raijin)


(Camera goes into the back where we see the Cruiserweight Champion Pendekar meditating before his fight later in the night. Stigma walks up.)

Stigma: “Hey”

(Pendekar opens his eyes)

Stigma: “I just wanted to say: “No hard feelings” about our fight. You fought with honor.”

Pendekar: “Thank you my friend.”

Stigma: “I heard that Prodigy has something new up his sleeve that might benefit us.”

Pendekar: “I have heard the same.”

Stigma: “Are we still friends?”

Pendekar: “Of course. I never had any hard feelings for you. A great man once said: “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort & convenience, but where he stands during times of challenge & controversy.” When you are well I hope to face you again for this title. You are a worthy competitor.”


ECLIPSE defeated TALON by TKO (STRIKES)
::RND 1::
Eclipse calmly approached the center of the ring & hurt Talon with a front kick followed by a right high kick & then a left high kick dropped Talon unconscious to the mat, causing the ref to jump in & stop the fight. (:37) (snake eyes)

PEGASUS defeated GUY ANDREWS¹ by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
Guy threw a straight right hand, Pegasus stepped aside, hit a left jab, a right hook & a high kick to the head & the fight was over. (:22)


AKUMA³ defeated ZED MARLOWE⁵ by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
A very close round with back & forth action. Zed got a quick takedown & tried repeatedly to submit Akuma with an arm lock. Akuma spun away & caught an ankle lock in response. Akuma nearly stole the round late with a ryokatate-dori but Zed finished the round in top position. (10-9 Zed Marlowe)

::RND 2::
Another even round that went back & forth. Zed opened with a charging knee & Akuma rocked him with a spinning back elbow. Zed responded by rocking Akuma with a crisp front kick. Zed tried several takedowns but Akuma stuffed them all & hit a quick nerve strike to set up choku-tsuki for the win. (2:54) (Score was 13-13 when the fight ended)


(Camera goes into President Prodigy’s office. Prodigy is in a meeting with someone off camera.)

Prodigy: “I’m glad you decided to take my offer to join the P.O.W. I have set you up with a match against a strong competitor in your weight division: Mace. You shouldn’t have much trouble with him. What I really wanted you here for is to form the Hellraisers in my new Doubles Division.”


ANTAK² defeated VYPER by SUBMISSION
::RND 1::
Antak clearly wanted to ground the fight & Vyper was more than compliant when he rolled Antak to the mat with a hip roll & blasted Antak with 2 huge shots from the mount. Antak didn’t panic & was positioning for a reversal & knee bar that forced Vyper into submission. (3:59)


NEFARUS defeated RAZE by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
Raze surged in for a quick flurry & backed Nefarus into the ropes. Nefarus came off the ropes with a roundhouse kick knockout. If you blinked, you missed it. (:13)


THAYNE³ defeated AHNU⁷ by TKO (CUTS)
::RND 1::
Thayne tried a flying knee, Ahnu dodged aside & launced a high kick to the head that Thayne ducked under. Thayne responded with an uppercut that rocked Ahnu back into the ropes & Ahnu came off with a jumping head kick. This only drove Thayne into a fury & he punished Ahnu for the remainder of the round. (10-8 Thayne)

::RND 2::
Ahnu started well but got caught in the clinch & was taken down with a scissors throw. Once on the mat, Thayne used submissions to grind out the round. Ahnu escaped & locked on a rear naked choke with :30 left, but Thayne held on to escape the round. (10-9 Thayne)

::RND 3::
Ahnu was on the edge as the third began, his face a bloodied wreck. He opened with a jumping head kick & hit a vicious combo that put Thayne down on one knee & inexplicitly stepped back to let Thayne up. That was his undoing, as Thayne surged up with a flying knee that exploded blood across the front row & the ref. Ahnu wobbled for a moment on his feet, the lights were on but nobody was home. As he dropped to the mat, the ref called for the bell. (2:34)

(Thayne looked down at his opponent for a moment & then proceeded to lay the boots to him. The ref tried futilely to stop his attack, but Thayne wouldn’t be deterred. After another couple minutes of punishment, Thayne stepped away & left the ring.)

[AHNU INJ-6 CARDS]: FRACTURED OCULAR ORBIT


(As Thayne comes through the curtain into the back Commissioner Hood stops him with a hand to his chest.)

Hood: “Tonight’s ye lucky night boyo. Ye have nothing to fear for your actions.”

(Hood claps Thayne on the shoulder & draws him alongside as they walk into the back.)


DARKSEED defeated MACE³ by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
Mace wanted to jaw with Darkseed but a kick to the gut took the breath out of him. An overhead press led to a wicked power slam. Darkseed never let up with side control & blasted elbows into Mace’s face until he was unconscious. (1:17)


CYPHER⁵ defeated SECTARIAN⁶ by SUBMISSION
::RND 1::
Every single strike thrown in this round was thrown on the ground. Cypher opened with a driving double leg takedown & took Sectarian to the brink of defeat. Sectarian fought his way back & rocked Cypher with wicked elbows & pulled out a spectacular comeback to win the round. (10-9 Sectarian).

::RND 2::
Cypher got a single-leg takedown & grounded the fight again before a single standing strike could be thrown. Sectarian rolled Cypher & grabbed a neck crank but Cypher slipped away. Cypher hit twister after twister & Sectarian smashed his way out of each one with hammerfists & cross elbows. Cypher rolled with his fourth twister & this time Sectarian couldn’t escape & tapped. (3:03)


(Camera goes into the back as President Prodigy addresses the assembled fighters.)

Prodigy: “I am pleased to announce the formation of the Doubles Division in the P.O.W. This means that a team of two fighters will enter the ring against another team of two fighters. First man to score a KO/SUB against the opposing team will win the fight. Title belts for Doubles will be provided to both men on the team. It is our belief that this division will bring even more talented fighters into the organization & will give the crowd something they have never seen before. For those of you interested in forming a team for the Doubles Division, please see Secretary Hood with the members of your team & your team name. A tournament will begin for the Doubles Division Titles within the next week or two. Thank you for your time. You are dismissed.”

(Camera tightens in on Commissioner Hood as Prodigy approaches; he looks like he wants to strangle him, but instead only flashes him a silvery smile.)


HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT
SABOTEUR (C) defeated HYDRAX⁴ by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
Hydrax tried a spinwheel kick & Saboteur easily blocked the strike & hit 4 KO’s in a row en route to the 5th KO that ended the fight: a snap jab to the jaw. (1:20)


CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT
EURITAR defeated PENDEKAR² (C) by TKO (STRIKES)
::RND 1::
Euritar circled & opened with an uppercut combo that dazed the champ long enough for a back suplex to knock him senseless. Knee to the face, knee to the face, knee to the face & Pendekar was out. The ref dove in to stop any further punishment from Euritar. (1:40) (snake eyes)

SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT
THOCK⁴ defeated MENSAR³ by SUBMISSION
::RND 1::
A rough start for Thock as Mensar rocked him with his opening strike & nearly knocked him out with a double leg pick up & slam. Thock survived the early onslaught & held on until his ground-game took over. Thock turned the fight a minute into the round & ground out the remainder of the round in top position & laying down the punishment. (10-8 Thock)

::RND 2::
Thock went for a spinning back fist but Mensar’s roundhouse right connected first, milliseconds before Thock’s strike connected on Mensar’s jaw. Both men crumbled to the mat with Mensar in top position, but it was Thock who locked on the kimura armlock for the submission. (:41)

Thock wins the Super Heavyweight Title: (Thock went for a spinning back fist but Mensar’s roundhouse right connected first, milliseconds before Thock’s strike connected on Mensar’s jaw. Both men crumbled to the mat with Mensar in top position, but it was Thock who locked on the kimura armlock for the submission.)

(Camera goes into the back where we see Commissioner Hood speaking in the corner with Saboteur & Sentinel.)

Hood: "I tell ye this...I will reward ye both if ye do this for me."

(Saboteur looks at Sentinel, who nods his assent.)

HYDRAX¹ defeated TRICKS¹ by SUBMISSION
::RND 1::
Tricks closed into the clinch after a brass knuckles shot & ducked a kick to the head coming in to take Hydrax down to the mat with a leg sweep. Tricks rocked Hydrax from the mount but let him scramble away back to his feet. Tricks tried a loaded boot but Hyrdax ducked & swept his leg for a takedown. A death point strike stunned him & a triangle choke put him away. (3:20)

(After the match Commissioner Hood makes his way into the ring, he is sharply dressed in a black suit, shirt & tie. He wears his ever present top hat & his arm is no longer in a sling. The only thing about Hood’s suit is that the arms have been ripped from the jacket & shirt underneath, leaving scarred arms exposed.)

Hood: “Good evening…”

(Chants of: “Hood, Hood, Hood” fill the arena)

Hood: “For the card tonight I have decided to do something a little different. I have decided to break the action up by divisions. Tonight you will see the Cruiserweight division spotlighted.”

(The cheers change to boos as President Prodigy makes his way out onto the ramp.)

Hood: “Because of the injuries the Cruiserweight division has suffered ye have already seen the first of 2 preliminary Heavyweight fights to round out the card.”

(Prodigy makes his way into the ring & snatches the mic away from Commissioner Hood.)

Prodigy: “As I said at APOCALYPSE, I am introducing a Doubles Division Tournament. Also on the card tonight will be the first fight in that tournament, pitting the Hellraisers: Nightmare & Darkseed against the favorites to win the Titles: My Punks: Romulus & Taurine.”

(The crowd boos as Prodigy finishes)

Prodigy: “Now, on to new business. Hood, it seems you are nicely recovered from the beating Thock put on you. Since next week will be your Super-Heavyweight show, you will step back into the ring against one of the most fearsome Heavyweight contenders: Cypher.”

(The crowd boos Prodigy again & then cheers when Hood takes back the mic.)

Hood: “Next week is just fine by me. There isn't one person in this federation that I be afraid to face.”

(The crowd cheers wildly)

Hood: “There be one more thing I want to say to ye…Mr. President...”

(Hood smashes Prodigy in the face with a huge right hand.)

Hood: “That be for making me an enemy.”

(Hood spits on Prodigy & makes his way into the back to the delight of the crowd.)


SECTARIAN¹ defeated ABSALOM¹ by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
A good back & forth round that saw Sectarian move in for a quick flurry & get dazed by a combo from Absalom. In the clinch, Sectarian would regain control & get a single leg takedown to ground the fight. Absalom was far from finished though & smashed punches & elbows into Sectarian’s head from the bottom to force him from the mount. In the final seconds of the round Sectarian nailed a huge axe kick that very nearly ended the fight, but Absalom was saved by the bell. (10-9 Sectarian)

::RND 2::
Absalom opened the second with a roundhouse kick & worked in & out of the clinch totally dominating the first 2 minutes of the round. Sectarian pulled guard & Absalom hammered away from the mount to dominate the 3rd minute as well. Sectarian scrambled back into the clinch & Absalom tried an inside foot sweep that Sectarian blocked & turned into a sweeping hip throw for the knockout. (3:42)


DOUBLES DIVISION TOURNAMENT: ROUND 1
HELLRAISERS: NIGHTMARE¹ & DARKSEED defeated PUNKS: ROMULUS² & TAURINE¹ by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
Nightmare opened with an elbow uppercut & pulled guard on Romulus to allow Darkseed to sweep in for a snap kick to the face to drive Romulus down to the mat. Darkseed continued to drive elbows into his face before Romulus scrambled away back to his feet. Romulus repeatedly tried an outer leg hook & trip but Darkseed defended perfectly & Nightmare came over for a double team beat down. Taurine pulled Nightmare away, but the damage had already been done. Darkseed tried a fallaway slam but Romulus grabbed an armbar on the way down & held on but Darkseed simply stood back up, still locked in the armbar & hammered away on Romulus until he released the hold. Taurine charged in, but Darkseed saw him coming & dropped him with a backfist. Nightmare approached & got hit with an up kick by Romulus. Taurine shot over for the double team on Nightmare but Darkseed kicked him in the gut, dropped him with a spinning back elbow & looked to finish him with mounted elbows but Romulus made the save. Darkseed slipped back for a rear naked choke as time expired in the round. (10-9 Hellraisers)

::RND 2::
Nightmare & Romulus started the second & Nightmare knocked him down with a flying kick. Darkseed surged in for another snap kick to the face, too quickly for Taurine to intercede, & knocked Romulus out. (:17)


AKUMA¹ defeated ANTAK⁴ by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
Antak nailed a quick snap kick that rocked Akuma into the ropes; Akuma bounced off the ropes with back-to-back spinning back elbows & a leaping double punch that rocked Antak. Antak came right back with an inside leg kick, uppercut, high kick combo & Akuma responded by grounding the fight. Antak rolled into the mount for several strikes before Akuma rolled him back into half guard & drove knees into the side of his head. Antak went for an ankle lock & got caught in a guillotine choke. They circled each other until Akuma leaped in for a double punch & followed with a spinning back elbow that again Antak ducked & swept Akuma’s legs for a takedown. Antak punched from half guard & Akuma caught him with a knee to the jaw & rolled into half guard & dropped bombs. Antak was rocked by a big shot & tied up Akuma until the ref forced a stand-up. Akuma dropped him again with heart punch & again Antak tied him up until the ref forced another stand-up. Déjà vu struck as another heart punch dropped Antak back to the mat. They traded punches on the ground until Akuma locked on an ankle lock as time expired. (10-9 Akuma)

Antak looked gassed to open the round but got off first with an uppercut that Akuma side-stepped & hit a leaping elbow strike for the knockout. (:10)


(Camera goes into the back where we see Commissioner Hood speaking quietly with Thayne)

Hood: “Listen to me boyo. I don’t care what ye do out there. I want ye to put on another show.”

Thayne: “If I do this, can you guarantee me Ahnu at the next Supercard?”

Hood: “On me life boyo. Ye get Ahnu in a match of yer choosing.”

Thayne: “Then a show is what I will give you.”


ZED MARLOWE defeated VYPER¹ by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
Zed landed his opening combo & Vyper blocked the follow up with a series of snap kicks. Zed pulled guard & Vyper pummeled him from the mount for the next 2 minutes. Zed finally tied Vyper up long enough to force a stand-up but Vyper was right back into the clinch after an overhand right & hit back-to-back knees to the head. Zed blasted him with a series of crisp strikes & slammed him to the mat with a belly-to-belly throw. Zen continued to punish him with a minute of mounted strikes before one snuck through & knocked him out in the final minute. (4:26)


(After the fight, the camera pans to the top of the ramp, TK was standing there watching the fight. He points a finger at Zed Marlowe before turning around & walking into the back.)


ECLIPSE defeated UFO by KNOCKOUT

Eclipse used an outside leg kick to set up a reverse leg sweep that bounced UFO’s enlarged head off the mat for the knockout. (:17)

Eclipse: “What you just saw was actually the fastest knockout in P.O.W. history.”

(a replay clip of the Nefarus knockout of Raze at the APOCALYPSE Supercard plays on the holotron. The video stops just as Nefarus hits his roundhouse kick. The clock in the bottom corner reads: :19)

Eclipse: “What is wrong with you people? You can clearly see the clock in the bottom corner reads :19 when Nefarus hits the roundhouse kick. My knockout you just saw was faster than Nefarus. I own the record.”

(Eclipse raises his hands in victory as President Prodigy comes out onto the ramp. A chorus of boos welcomes him back into the arena.)

Prodigy: “There is really only one way to resolve this crisis. On next week’s show you will face Nefarus in a fight. The winner of that fight gets to keep the record.”

(The crowd cheers & Prodigy raises his hands to thank them for their approval.)

THAYNE³ defeated RAIJIN⁶ by DECISION (28-27)
::RND 1::
WOW! Thayne made a statement in this round. He opened with a combo & took Raijin down with a scissors throw that rocked his head off the mat. He rocked him again with frenzied strikes & slipped to a straight knee bar & released the hold to move to a rear naked strangle, and then back to a straight knee bar only to release it again & get back to his feet. Raijin had no idea where he was at this point & staggered back to his feet. Thayne continued to punish his opponent before taking him down again with a rolling knee bar & released the hold to stand back up again. Another strike followed by another rolling knee bar takedown released before Raijin could tap. Forced back to his feet again, Raijin went down once more from a flying knee as the bell sounded. (10-8 Thayne) (35-0 Thayne on the scorecard)

::RND 2::
Thayne opened with another flying knee & followed with vicious combos. Every offensive attempt by Raijin was swiftly countered. Thayne knocked Raijin down with a left kick to the leg, right kick to the head & pounced with furious frenzied strikes for nearly 2 minutes. Somehow Raijin survived. Rocked again & bleeding very badly, Raijin finally scored 3:05 into the round with a summersault thrust kick, Thayne quickly retook control with brutal knees to the chin & ground out the remainder of the round in top position. (10-9 Thayne) (19-4 Thayne on the scorecard)

::RND 3::
WOW!! Thayne left Raijin in the fight & nearly paid the price for it. Raijin roared out of his corner with a flying knee. Thayne counter punched for what would be his final strike of the fight as Raijin absolutely dominated. Raijin worked outside & inside leg kicks to drop Thayne with another flying knee. Thayne scrambled but Raijin only poured on the beating with wild mounted punches. 3:00 into the round a massive punch slipped through & nailed Thayne on the button. In the final minute, another one slipped through & opened a cut under Thayne’s eye. With :30 left & the crowd roaring with delight, Raijin locked on a rear naked choke & strained with all his might to finish the fight but Thayne held on & Raijin ran out of time. (After the fight, both fighters received a standing ovation from the crowd. Thayne embraced Raijin & raised his hand in victory. Raijin showed great heart in the fight)

Erebus: “I’m back from injury & looking for payback.”

Wraith: “Anytime chump. I will put you away just like before.”

(Anarchy blindsides Erebus with a wicked elbow strike. Blazing Skull steps in to restrain Wraith & keep him out of the fight. Anarchy & Erebus exchange strikes on the ground before security can mob the scene & separate the two fighters.)

Anarchy: “Before you go looking to settle scores with Wraith you better settle your history with me.”

Amazing Mann caught Euritar with an opening left hook that staggered him into the corner & followed with a front kick attempt. Euritar caught that kick & hit Merciless. A roundhouse kick to the stomach rocked Mann & then back-to-back Merciless finished him. (1:01)

Skinhead: “When I look at your Doubles Division two words come to mind: Superiority Complex.”

Prodigy: “That was a long time ago my friend.”

Skinhead: “This is Kronos. That was yesterday.”

MACE² defeated WRAITH³ by SUBMISSION
::RND 1::
The fight went back & forth early but Wraith caught Mace with a right cross that rocked him back into the ropes. He went for a rolling armbar to follow-up but Mace slipped away & gave up his back for a rear naked choke. After :45 in the choke, Mace stood up with Wraith still on his back & dropped Wraith in a slam back to the mat. Mace turned into the mount & pounded elbow strikes for the final :30 of the round. (10-9 Wraith)

::RND 2::
The second was ALL Mace as he caught Wraith first with a left jab, right elbow combo, then with an overhand right that opened a bad cut under Wraith’s eye. Mace put him on the mat with an o guruma & slid down his arm for an arm bar submission. (2:06)


(Camera goes into the back where we see Thock sitting quietly in meditation. The Super Heavyweight Title lay across his lap. Commissioner Hood walks into the scene.)

Hood: “Tonight boyo yer going to loose that strap.”

Thock: “…”

Hood: “Next week boyo, yer mine.”

(Thock still doesn’t respond so Hood nails him with a right cross that turns Thock’s head to the side. Thock opens his eyes & looks up at the Commissioner.)

Thock: “The whole “bully” role is best played by someone intimidating. Not by a crotchety old bastard like you.”

(Hood leaps on Thock & they trade punches on the ground until security comes to pull them apart.)


HYBRID² defeated DARKSEED by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
Darkseed opened with a naked two-handed choke & brutally pressed the attack with elbows & head butts until Hybrid caught an attempted punch to the throat & countered with a crushing wild swing for the surprise knockout. (2:31)


(Camera goes into the back where we see Pegasus already in conversation with Cruiserweight Champion Euritar)

Pegasus: "...I respect you Euritar. I think we should do this."

(Pegasus offers his hand for a shake...Euritar shakes it.)

GAMMA BEAST⁴ defeated RUBICON² by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
Rubicon rocked Beast early with 2 front kicks but never looked to finish him. Beast finally suckered Rubicon into a takedown & rolled right into the mount to blast him with 2 vicious right hands. Like Rubicon before him, Gamma Beast let Rubicon off the hook by not trying to finish him. Rubicon muscled his way inside late in the round for 2 HUGE back hip throw inside the final minute. (10-9 Rubicon)

::RND 2::
Beast was visibly enraged as he waited for the round to begin & charged across the ring with a wild flurry that backed Rubicon back into the ropes. Gamma Beast took a half step back & dropped Rubicon with a haymaker for the stunning knockout. (:16)


(Camera goes into the back where we see Wraith getting his cut tended to by the medics. Erebus enters the room to attack but is blindsided at the door by Anarchy as he repeatedly smashed Erebus’ head into the door frame.)

Anarchy: “Doc, I need some help here. This man just dropped unconscious. I think it might be a heart condition.”


ZED MARLOWE¹ defeated TK² by SUBMISSION
::RND 1::
TK hit Zed with a kick to the side & moved in for a shoulder throw. Zed scrambled & struck his way back to his feet & got dropped again by a massive punch. Another scramble that Zed controlled led to punishing strikes from the mount from Zed & an arm bar submission. (3:19)

(Camera goes into the back where we see Amazing Mann locked in a straight jacket, attempting an escape. In less than a minute, he is free of the restraint. Dante enters the room.)

Dante: “I wanted to apologize for injuring you.”

Mann: “No apologies needed. It was a fight for the title, I wouldn’t have expected anything else but your best effort.”

Dante: “Well, I will let you get back to your…workout.”

(Dante turns to leave but Mann puts an arm on his shoulder)

Mann: “Dante, one more thing. I want to apologize as well.”

Dante: “For what?”

Mann: “Next week in our rematch…I am going to break something in return…perhaps an arm. I wanted to get the apology out of the way.”

(Dante jerks his shoulder away from Mann’s hand & slams the door behind him as he leaves. Mann only smiles as he leaves.)

TRUE WAY: ABSALOM¹ & RAZE defeated MASKED ASSASSINS: SABOTEUR¹ & SENTINEL by KNOCKOUT

Sentinel & Absalom circled slowly & Sentinel nailed an overhand right. In the background, Saboteur evaded a combo from Raze & dropped him with a quick jab & went for a gyaku ude garame finish but Raze scrambled free just before Absalom smashed Saboteur in the back of the head with a brutal kick for a FLASH KO! (:48)


(Camera goes into the back where we see Commissioner Hood watching the Doubles Tournament fight end as he slams a fist down on his desk. Prodigy walks into his office.)

Prodigy: “I just wanted to tell you that I know what you are trying to do.”

Hood: “What the hell are ye talking about boyo?”

Prodigy: “I know what you asked the Masked Assassins to do for you. I wanted to be the one to tell you that your plan has failed.”

Hood: “I still do not follow ye.”

Prodigy: “You will get what is coming to you Hood. I guarantee it.”

(Prodigy walks out of the office.)


NEFARUS¹ defeated ECLIPSE⁵ by SUBMISSION
::RND 1::
Eclipse went straight in for the kill & easily took Nefarus down, but couldn’t keep him there. Nefarus regained his feet & rocked Eclipse with a series of knees that wound up being the difference in a close round. Nefarus rocked him again with a roundhouse kick but Eclipse kept his composure & took Nefarus back down & locked on a guillotine choke as time expired. (10-9 Nefarus)

::RND 2::
Nefarus clearly dominated this round. He rocked Eclipse again with another series of knees early in the round & took him down at will. Eclipse did manage to stuff a couple double leg takedown attempts & managed a few strikes before Nefarus slipped away & regained control. Nefarus ended the round with another takedown, landing in top position & delivering strikes as the round ended. (10-9 Nefarus)

::RND 3::
It became clear that Nefarus was teaching Eclipse a lesson in this fight as he clearly dominated & scored takedowns at will again in this round. Eclipse stuffed another double leg takedown attempt & counter attacked, but Nefarus ducked the strike, snagged a single leg takedown instead. On the mat, Nefarus dazed Eclipse with 2 brutal strikes to the ribs & grabbed an arm bar for the submission. (3:41)

(After the fight Nefarus tried to shake Eclipse’s hand but Eclipse slapped his hand away & spit on the floor at Nefarus’ feet.)

(Camera cuts to the top of the ramp where we see the Heavyweight Champion Saboteur watching silently. When Nefarus’ hand is raised, he turns & walks into the back.)


ANARCHY³ defeated EREBUS³ by TKO (CHOKE)
::RND 1::
They circled slowly & Erebus got off first with a HUGE forearm smash & followed up with an intentional low blow. With Anarchy dazed, Erebus went for a flying knee & met a spinning back fist instead followed by a kick to the gut & a retaliatory low blow. Erebus tried another flying knee & again met a spinning back fist, then an overhand right & an uppercut combo before another HUGE forearm smash created some separation & allowed Erebus to get the takedown. Erebus closed the round with frenzied strikes from the mount. (10-9 Erebus)

::RND 2::
Both fighters were cut & bleeding after the brutal first round & Anarchy struck first with a kick. Erebus blocked it & went for another flying knee, but this time Anarchy nailed him coming in with an overhand right to the shoulder that knocked him immediately to the mat & locked on a forearm choke. The ref stopped the fight as Erebus was unconscious & non-responsive. (1:19)

(Camera goes into the back as we see Shylock walking down the hallway with a menacing look on his face. He stops at a closed door that reads: “CYPER” and knocks. When Cypher opens the door, Shylock hits him with a sternum punch & followed with an overhand right that knocked Cypher back into the room. Shylock enters the room & closes the door on the camera.)


SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE REMATCH
MENSAR² defeated THOCK³ (c) by KNOCKOUT
::RND 1::
Mensar tried a hard kick but Thock checked it & rocked him with an elbow to the jaw. Thock poured it on, looking to finish, & caught Mensar a second time with an uppercut combo. Thock got careless in the clinch though & got picked up & slammed down hard. Thock scrambled away in the final :30 but Mensar closed the round with another HUGE double leg pick up & slam. This was a very close round. (10-9 Thock)

WOW! Mensar tore across the ring & unleashed a furious assault on Thock. 2:00 in, Thock was blasted by a left elbow cross & Mensar moved back into the clinch. Thock defended as well as he could but Mensar hit his 3rd double leg pickup & slam & this time, the impact knocked Thock out. (3:07)
