(Show opens inside Commissioner Hood’s office where we see him backed into a corner by Thock)

Thock: “I am tired of your games Hood. You have kept me from my rematch long enough.”

Hood: “Easy, easy. Ye will get yer rematch.”

Thock: “When exactly Hood? You have kept me away for two straight cards by putting me against Skinhead tonight.”

Hood: “I be unable to compete tonight. I needed someone I knew he couldn’t beat.”

Thock: “Don’t give me that Hood. I don’t buy it. You continue to keep me from my rematch against Mensar.”

Hood: “I swear to ye Thock. Ye will get yer rematch.”

Thock: “I will ask you one more time Hood. When exactly will I get my rematch?”

Hood: “The AFTERMATH Supercard. I swear to ye.”

Thock: “No more tricks Hood. I have taken all I am going to take from you.”


SABYR¹ defeated INDIGO³ by KNOCKOUT
::: Sabyr was all claws & elbows in this fight & Indigo didn’t know how to handle him. After four minutes of back & forth action, Sabyr asserted control with a HUGE jumping knee lift followed by a slashing uppercut that knocked Indigo to the mat. Sabyr followed up with 2 crushing stomps to the body for the win.


HELLRAISERS: NIGHTMARE¹ & DARKSEED defeated TRUE WAY: RAZE & ABSALOM¹ by KNOCKOUT
::: Absalom hit Nightmare with a spinning back fist as the cage door closed & tried to follow with a roundhouse kick but Nightmare flowed underneath the kick & smashed Absalom with an elbow uppercut & blindsided Raze with a high kick to the back of his head that dropped him like a rock, out cold. WOW! Hellraisers advance to the Finals.


(Camera goes into the back where we see Skinhead held in the arms of Sentinel & under assault from Saboteur with a baseball bat. CRACK! Saboteur hits Skinhead’s shoulder. CRACK! Another shot. Saboteur turns the bat lengthwise & drives it like a spear into his shoulder joint causing Skinhead to cry out in pain. Sentinel locks on an armbar & Saboteur stops away on Skinhead’s shoulder. Finally, security pours into the scene & breaks Skinhead free, but his arm hangs limply at his side. Saboteur surveys his work & smiles at Sentinel before hitting a high five & making his way off camera)


MARCUS GRIFFIN defeated HYBRID² by TKO
::: Griffin showed he meant business immediately with a belly-to-belly throw that surprised the massive Hybrid, but couldn’t keep him down. Griffin avoided any serious damage from Hybrid’s wild strikes & reversed Hybrid after several minutes & pounded his way to victory with mounted punches. Hybrid was not responding & the ref stepped in to call a halt to the punishment. (snake eyes)


(Camera goes into the back where we see Sentinel & Saboteur tossing a locker room. They open every container & drawer in the room & empty the contents onto the floor. After several moments & finding nothing, Saboteur & Sentinel give up the search)


SENTINEL defeated WRAITH by SUBMISSION
::: Sentinel hurt him with an inside leg kick & grabbed a guillotine choke from the clinch & dropped to the mat with the choke still applied. Wraith slipped out of the bottom of the choke, but Sentinel transitioned to a triangle arm bar that Wraith was unable to escape. Wraith’s slump now stretches to 5 straight losses since losing the Super Heavyweight Title.


(Skinhead appears for his match clearly favoring his damaged arm but looks ready for his fight. He gets in the cage & shakes out the tender arm as the cage door closes & the fight begins)

THOCK³ defeated SKINHEAD¹ by TKO
::: Skinhead caught Thock early with a spinning back fist & then with a hammerlock slam. Thock was superior on the ground & quickly turned the fight. Skinhead wisely stood back up, but Thock caught him flush with an elbow & put him right back down on the mat. Thock easily caught Skinhead’s arm in a hammerlock & popped it out of socket. The ref called for the stoppage. (snake eyes)


ANARCHY⁴ defeated DARK STAR CREATURE¹ by KNOCKOUT
::: This one got dirty quick as DSC tried a Creature Claw & got taken down as a result. DSC tried PRIMAL RAGE but Anarchy escaped. Back on their feet DSC nailed a flying knee that knocked Anarchy back into the cage & followed with another, on the way in that bounced Anarchy’s head off the cage. DSC stunned Anarchy with a Plaxibus Pounding but Anarchy snuck in a cross elbow strike from the clinch that knocked DSC out.


(Rubicon came out for his fight with a mic in hand)

Rubicon: “Commissioner, Rubicon is prove to you that Rubicon best fighter in division.”

(crowd pop)

Rubicon: “Commissioner, Rubicon is show you now that Rubicon speak truth.”

(crowd pops again as Rubicon drops the mic & charges the cage)


RUBICON defeated MACE⁴ by KNOCKOUT
::: Mace threw only one punch, an overhand right, & Rubicon caught it & pulled him into the clinch. Once there, Rubicon repeatedly battered Mace with knees & elbows to the chin & body. Every shot that Rubicon landed that threatened to drop Mace to the canvas, found Rubicon catch & hold Mace on his feet for further punishment. When Rubicon tired of the fun he locked on a neck crank with one arm & used the other arm to drive his massive elbows into Mace’s sternum until he dropped Mace unconscious to the mat. Utter dominance.


(Camera goes into the back where we see Sentinel busted open with his head smashed through a mirror, into the wall. Saboteur is bloodied, but fighting for his life against the furious assault of Shylock & Zed Marlowe. Shylock feints a right hook & Zed connects with an uppercut that knocks Saboteur back into the wall. Shylock wades in & lands vicious body punches that drive Saboteur down to the floor. Zed adds some kicks into his ribs before Shylock pulls him away & they leave the two Assassins in puddles of their own blood)


SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT:
MENSAR³ ( c ) defeated GAMMA BEAST² by TKO
::: Mensar got off to a very slow start & Gamma Beast capitalized. Beast knocked Mensar down with a haymaker & nearly won the Title with a gamma bomb & then with a leaping stomp, but Mensar hung on. Finally, Mensar found the range with his strikes & dropped Beast hard to the mat with a uranage. Beast wasn’t moving on the mat & the ref immediately stopped the fight. (snake eyes)

(Gamma Beast lay unmoving, face down on the mat for several minutes. The medics rushed into the ring as Mensar climbed the cage to display his Title for his fans. After a backwards glance to still immobile opponent, Mensar hopped down off the cage & headed up the ramp to the back. He turned around at the top of the ramp to one again raise the Title above his head for the fans but Thock speared him from behind down to the ramp & showered him with elbows & punches. Thock grabbed a handful of Mensar’s hair & began raking his face across the metal grating of the ramp as security appeared to restore order. Gamma Beast still hadn't moved in the ring...)

AMAZING MANN's ribs are bruised after his victory over Dante. His condition is listed as DAY TO DAY but he is not expected to miss any time.

GAMMA BEAST is in intensive care. He is conscious but has limited mobility to his extremities. Preliminary diagnosis is a (Fractured vertebrae). His return at this point is questionable at best.

I love the way Rubicon talks for you, mainly because I have his growly voice in my head. Someday if we ever get the POW voices we recorded at the Con up on COTG Online, you'll hear what Mike M did with it. Really creepy once I did my effects on it!

EREBUS(3) vs. HADRIAN(4)
::RND 1::
- Erebus struck early & knocked Hadrian down with a flying knee & then wickedly slammed his head off the mat twice with frenzied strikes. Hadrian roared with fury & savagely pummeled Erebus from the mat & then rolled into the mount & bounced Erebus’ head off the mat twice. As the round came to a close, Hadrian had dominated the last 3:23 of the round from the mount. (10-9 Hadrian)

::RND 2::
- Hadrian came out throwing bombs & sent Erebus backwards into the cage with the third strike. Erebus kept his cool & grounded the fight & took Hadrian to school on the mat for the final 3:16 of the round. It appeared to be a competition between the two fighters at this point instead of a fight. (10-9 Erebus)

::RND 3::
- Both fighters were cut when as they touched gloves to start the third. Erebus landed a vicious throat chop immediately after they touched gloves & Hadrian went down like a sack of potatoes.

WINNER: EREBUS by KO (THROAT CHOP) (:09 ROUND 3)



ANARCHY(2) vs. MINOTAUR
::RND 1::
- Minotaur caught Anarchy with a barrage of punches that rocked him back into the cage. Anarchy tried to clinch & sweep Minotaur’s legs but Minotaur hammered down elbows into Anarchy’s back until he gave up his sweep attempt & stepped back. Once Minotaur had some separation he took Anarchy down with a driving head spear takedown & dropped a brutal falling head butt for the knockout.

WINNER: MINOTAUR by KO (FALLING HEAD BUTT) (4:08 ROUND 1)



SENTINEL(1) vs. MARCUS GRIFFIN(2)
::RND 1::
- Sentinel waded in & caught Griffin with a double leg pickup & slam that bounced Griffin’s head off the mat. Sentinel went for a second slam but Griffin pulled away & grabbed an armbar instead. Sentinel rolled through & grabbed a heel hook. Griffin kicked him away & scrambled back to his feet; when Sentinel charged back in, Griffin side stepped & cinched in a rear naked choke for the win.

WINNER: MARCUS GRIFFIN by SUB (REAR NAKED CHOKE) (2:20 ROUND 1)



WRAITH(1) vs. GUNNAR(3)
::RND 1::
- Aside from the opening exchange, when Gunnar caught Wraith with an overhand right that put him on the mat, Wraith looked to be in Championship form. Everything Gunnar tried, Wraith countered or scrambled away from. Late in the round Wraith caught Gunner in a rear naked choke for the submission.

WINNER: WRAITH by SUB (REAR NAKED CHOKE) (4:50 ROUND 1)

Wraith: “I felt really good tonight for the first time in a long, long time. Gunnar caught me with that right hand & I thought I was done. I reached down & found something that I had lost inside & pulled it out. I’m grateful to be fighting in the POW. I think this victory might have put me in line for a Title shot down the road. I will be ready either way.”



RUBICON vs. PUMA(1)
::RND 1::
- Puma tried to strike but Rubicon stepped in & hit Puma with a back hip throw & tried a neck crank. Puma scrambled his way into a sit out side choke for the surprising, very quick submission.

WINNER: PUMA by SUB (SIDE CHOKE) (1:21 ROUND 1)

Thock: “Mensar, it is past time that we meet again. Jack Hood has protected you as long as possible. Tonight, the Title comes back to me.”

(Image shifts to the POW Super Heavyweight Champion)

Mensar: “Thock, it wasn’t Jack Hood that kept us apart. It was because I didn’t feel you were worthy of another shot. In our last fight you took the first round, but I’m a slow starter & I showed the universe what kind of Champion I would be when I destroyed you & knocked you unconscious to take your Title. If you think you are just going to step into the cage & have me hand you the Title, you are sadly mistaken & are going to be seriously injured.”

(Image shifts back to Thock)

Thock: “My plan is clear to everyone, I will take Mensar down & I will submit him. You would be foolish to clinch with him & his stand up is better than he gets credit for. I am one of the best on the mat & he doesn’t stand a chance of victory once I get him there.”

(Image shifts back to Mensar)

Mensar: “I am comfortable with wherever the fight goes to be honest. I know how skilled he is on the mat, but I will be able to scramble my way back to my feet & keep the fight standing. He is good, make no mistake, but he isn’t the Champion; I am.”



SUPERHEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT
MENSAR(2) ( c ) vs. THOCK(2)
::RND 1::
- Mensar traded blows the entire round with Thock & got caught by a spinning back fist. Once the fight hit the mat, Thock rolled him into various submissions but couldn’t lock one in until the final seconds of the round but it was too late to do any real damage. (10-9 Thock)

::RND 2::
- Mensar seemed enraged between rounds & came out swinging. He connected immediately with an uppercut, right cross combo that wobbled Thock seriously. Before the referee could step in to check on Thock’s condition Mensar pressed the attack & blasted him with another brutal combo & a side kick before the ref could jump in & call a stop to the fight. (snake eyes)

WINNER: MENSAR ( c ) by TKO (SIDE KICK) (1:12 ROUND 2)

THAYNE(1) vs. AHNU(4)
::RND 1::
- This one broke down quickly & went back & forth for the entire round. Ahnu scored the first knockdown with a jumping head kick but Thayne came right back with a flying knee late to sneak out the round on the scorecards. (10-9 Thayne)

::RND 2::
- Thayne came out smiling as chants of “Free the Three” filled the arena between the rounds. In the first minute a wicked right cross from Thayne busted Ahnu open. Ahnu came right back with another jumping head kick but this time Thayne blocked it & used the opportunity to drive Ahnu hard to the mat. After a series of frenzied strikes Ahnu scrambled away & tried to fight his way back into the fight but he was in serious trouble. Thayne closed & hit another combo of strikes that put Ahnu out once & for all.

WINNER: THAYNE by KO (LEFT JAB, RIGHT CROSS COMBO) (4:47 ROUND 2)



STIGMA vs. DANTE
::RND 1::
- Dante clearly wasn’t prepared for this fight. His hands were down & Stigma brutalized him with a right jab, left elbow cross, a right to the head, left to the ribs. Dante covered up his obviously damaged ribs after that last shot & Stigma took advantage of his dropped guard & stepped in to hit another right jab, left elbow cross to finish the fight.

WINNER: STIGMA by KO (RIGHT JAB, LEFT ELBOW CROSS) (:58 ROUND 1)

VOS AURILLIAE(5) vs. ENRIQUE DOLAR(3)
::RND 1::
- Vos hit a surprising roundhouse kick that caught Dolar square on the jaw. Vos tried for various submissions but Dolar rolled right into mount & stood back up. Dolar finished out the round with a couple big slams & a barrage of punches. (10-9 Dolar)

::RND 2::
- Dolar rushed right into the clinch & hit 2 HUGE jumping knee lifts that opened a serious gash above Vos’ eye. Vos came back with an o soto gari & a juji getame but Dolar rolled away & jumped into side control. Once there, Dolar hit side mounted power knees followed by an elbow barrage that knocked Vos out.

WINNER: ENRIQUE DOLAR by KO (SIDE MOUNTED ELBOW BARRAGE) (3:13 ROUND 2)



ZED MARLOWE(3) vs. PENDEKAR(3)
::RND 1::
- WOW WHAT A ROUND!! The first 2 minutes were all Zed with serious strikes coming from a charging knee & a belly to belly throw. The final 3 minutes belonged to Pendekar as he worked the clinch for a near KO with a drop seoinage. Pendekar had a reverse crucifix locked on tight as time expired in the round. Clearly this round belonged to Pendekar. (10-9 Pendekar)

::RND 2::
- Zed kept the fight on the feet & struck from the outside with a front kick that nearly won him the fight. Pendekar reversed the clinch & grounded the fight with an uchi mata & finished quickly with a kimura armlock.

WINNER: PENDEKAR by SUB (KIMURA ARMLOCK) (2:31 ROUND 2)

Akuma: “Euritar is a great Champion. He has fought everyone without fear & has brought honor to the Title. He is a fierce striker with excellent submissions. This will be a great challenge for me but I am ready.”

(Image shifts to the POW Cruiserweight Champion)

Euritar: “Akuma is the #1 Contender because he is undefeated. He defeated Zed Marlowe soundly but that is the extent of his achievements. There is no way in hell that Akuma will defeat me for this Title. He doesn’t have the stones.”

(Image shifts back to Akuma)

Akuma: “I must keep the fight standing to stand a chance against Euritar. I am better in stand up, he is the better grappler. All of my wins have come by knockout; I expect nothing less from the fight tonight.”

(Image shifts back to Euritar)

Euritar: “Akuma has good stand up but I’m pretty good myself; 2 of my 3 defenses so far have ended with me knocking my opponent out. I am definitely the better grappler, he has some skill, but I am the better man & should get the submission fairly early on in the fight.”



CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT
EURITAR(1) ( c ) vs. AKUMA(3)
::RND 1::
- 3:30 of this fight was standing, the last :14 on the mat. Euritar used Merciless & combos to batter Akuma; Akuma scored a big blow with a spinning back elbow. Once he was rocked, Euritar grounded the fight with a back suplex & finished with a knee bar.

WINNER: EURITAR ( c ) by SUB (KNEE BAR) (3:44 ROUND 1)



DARTH FEDOR(1) vs. SABYR(3)
::RND 1::
- Sabyr pounced on Fedor immediately & slashed away; Fedor calmly rolled into the mount & rocked Sabyr with a series of wicked punches. Fedor transitioned to an achilles hold but Sabyr refused to submit. Sabyr broke the hold with a kick to the face & pounced once more for mounted slashes as time ran out in the round. (10-9 Fedor)

::RND 2::
- Sabyr again opened the round by pouncing on his opponent & drove Fedor down hard to the mat. He followed with several slashes but Fedor ignored them & got back to his feed then drove Sabyr into the mat with a sambo hip throw & finished with a diving punch that bounced Sabyr’s head off the mat.

WINNER: DARTH FEDOR by KO (DIVING PUNCH) (2:54 ROUND 2)



SHYLOCK vs. CARLOS TOREZ(1)
::RND 1::
- Torez opened with a straight right hand that Shylock side-stepped & counter-punched him in the sternum. Over the next 3 minutes, Shylock toyed with Torez from the outside; scoring punches at will. With barely a minute remaining an overhand right put Torez on his knees & a guillotine choke made him tap.

WINNER: SHYLOCK by SUB (GUILLOTINE CHOKE) (4:48 ROUND 1)



CYPHER vs. ADRIK GRIGOREV(3)
::RND 1::
- Cypher dropped Grigorev with a looping left hand & immediately locked on a triangle choke. Grigorev slipped away & got back to his feet; as Cypher got back to his feet he took a body kick & a high knee but landed another looping left that again put Grigorev on the mat. Smiling wickedly, Cypher looked up at the clock as Grigorev got back to his feet, then closed & dropped him a third time with a looping left hand & finished him with an anaconda choke.

WINNER: CYPHER by SUB (ANACONDA CHOKE) (4:32 ROUND 1)



(Camera goes into the back where we see the challenger Sectarian)

Sectarian: “The Champ is a good all-around fighter but I’m better on the mat. I’m going to put him into submissions until he makes a mistake & gives me the Title. It is past time that I have the Heavyweight Title back around my waist.”

(Image shifts to the POW Heavyweight Champion)

Saboteur: “Sectarian is the only other man to wear this Title (he adjusts the Heavyweight Title that rests on his shoulder) He’s an excellent ground fighter but lets face it: he lost the Title to me. He doesn’t stand a chance against me.”

(Image shifts back to Sectarian)

Sectarian: “I was the first POW Heavyweight Champion. No matter what Saboteur claims, he can’t say that. Tonight I am going to show the universe Saboteur’s weaknesses; I’m going to exploit his ground game & I’m going to submit him. Tonight I become the POW Heavyweight Champion for the second time.”

(Image shifts back to Saboteur)

Saboteur: “Sectarian again a Champion? (he laughs aloud) Over my dead body! He doesn’t have the skills to defeat me; nobody does. There are some who could challenge me; Cypher, Shylock, but Sectarian isn’t one of those guys. I will stick to my game plan & wait for the opportunity to break Sectarian into tiny pieces.”



HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT
SABOTEUR(3) ( c ) vs. SECTARIAN(5)
::RND 1::
- Sectarian charged Saboteur like a wild silverback & Saboteur put him on the mat with a beautiful uppercut. Saboteur waited for him to get back to his feet & closed to deliver more punishment, but Sectarian pulled guard to ground the fight. Saboteur tried a kata getame but Sectarian rocked him with a cross elbow strike & spent the last 3 minutes of the round beating the Champion senseless. As time expired, Saboteur was locked in a deep, rear naked choke. (10-9 Sectarian)

::RND 2::
- Saboteur didn’t waste any time letting his hands go but Sectarian pulled guard once again & rolled into the mount. They scrambled in the middle minutes of the round with each fighter landing solid shots but it was Sectarian who again stole the round in the final 2 minutes with a rolling hammerfist reversal that seriously rocked the Champ & then caught him with a monkey claw that put him on his hands & knees. Sectarian again snagged a rear naked choke in the final seconds but ran out of time before he could get the submission. (10-9 Sectarian)

::RND 3::
- Saboteur stuck to his game plan for the fight & let his hands fly & once again Sectarian pulled guard. This time however, Saboteur passed into side control & hammered a vicious knee to the ribs. Sectarian covered up & Saboteur grabbed an arm & locked on a triangle armbar that forced Sectarian to tap out.

WINNER: SABOTEUR ( c ) by SUB (TRIANGLE ARMBAR) (1:49 ROUND 3)

Commissioner Jack Hood has called a press conference with the entire POW roster & the intergalactic news network. Hood steps before the podium & slowly removes his hat from his head.

Hood: "Good evening gentlemen. I'm not one for big speaches so I'll cut to it. The POW has aquired ownership of all Centra entertainment."

The assembled respond with complete shock. Hood waits a moment for that shock to pass before continuing.

Hood: "With this aquisition the POW will face an influx of new fighters & talent. As a result, the POW will be restructuring our weight divisions to compensate."

Again Hood pauses for effect.

Hood: "Beginning on our next card our divisions will be: Lightweight, Middleweight, Light Heavyweight, Heavyweight & Super Heavyweight. This restructuring will generate some new & exciting competition within a smaller division. These changes will give each fighter within the division a better chance at a Title shot."

At this point everyone in the room exploded with questions all at once. Hood allowed them to go on for several minutes without an answer; when he signalled for silence he got it immediately.

Hood: "Each weight division will be given their own card between the Superfight Cards. Each Superfight Card will showcase the top fighters from all five weight divisions. The message is simple; if you are top fighter, we want to see more of you. Give the POW your best & you will be rewarded."

Again the room exploded with questions but Hood wouldn't give any answers. He concluded with:

Hood: "For my POW fighters; we will have a private meeting immediately following this press conference inside the POW cage. I will see you all there presently. Good evening."

With that Hood left the press conference & the resurgence of questions to meet with his fighters. As one, the fighters followed their Commissioner into the ring.

Inside the ring are a few new fighters; Hood shakes hands with a few of them & invites his roster of fighters to press into the cage. The effect is that of a town hall meeting; with a small circle cleared around Hood, in the middle of his fighters.

Hood: "Here is the roster breakdown as of this evening. This roster will change as more signings from the aCe make their way into our organization. This decision is not open for discussion, however, for those of you who border within a pound or two of another division; I will hear you regarding which division you would prefer to compete in. This hearing does not guarentee my agreement with you, but I will do what I can. Is that understood?"

The assembled fighters reply in unison: "Yes sir!"

Hood: "Here are the current assignments, if you have any problem with your assignment I will be in my office all night. Good evening gentlemen."
