- Akuma hit a quick choku-tsuki that stunned Thayne for a moment; Thayne came out in control after a mad scramble & rocked Akuma with a flying knee. Akuma clinched & took him down with ryokatate-dori. Another scramble with 15 seconds remaining; Akuma hit 3 lightning quick nerve strikes & Thayne was finished.
WINNER: Akuma by KO (nerve strike) (4:56 RND 1)
Akuma: “I’m honored to have fought such a great fighter. Thayne is a much better scrambler than I gave him credit for but I managed to land some big strikes when I needed them. Euritar, polish up that belt because I’m coming to take it!

ECLIPSE vs. QUETZAL

- Eclipse drove Quetzal to the mat with furious strikes but as he dropped into Quetzal’s guard he got caught by an up-kick that opened a wicked cut across the bridge of his nose. Blood sprayed everywhere & Quetzal quickly rolled into top position & hammered the cut until the ref stopped the fight.
WINNER: Quetzal by TKO (strikes) (1:00 RND 1)

Freakshow: “I’ve come to the POW with only one purpose: to win the Title. Nobody respects me here so I will have to demonstrate my ability by destroying my opponent tonight.”

Thock: “Does he think he is the first guy that wanted to destroy me? It doesn’t matter what the guy can do; he still has to go through me to get to the Title.”

- Thock blitzed in & blasted Freakshow with sharp knees & elbows. A jumping knee strike rocked Show back into the cage & he bounced off it with a maniac clothesline. Show followed up with a leaping knee drop onto Thock’s chest. Thock staggered back to his feet & got destroyed by a high kick knockout.
WINNER: Freakshow by KO (high kick) (4:34 RND 1)
Freakshow: “Rubicon, I’m coming for you! I will go through every other fighter in this weight class to get to you & when I do, I’m going to rip that Title from your cold, dying fingers.”

AHNU vs. TYRANNY

- Ahnu toyed with Tyranny for the opening minute; moving in & out, striking at will. Ahnu put him on the mat with a jumping head kick & dropped to a reverse ankle lock for the submission.
WINNER: Ahnu by SUB (reverse ankle lock) (2:44 RND 1)
Pendekar: “I knew I couldn’t trust him! I knew he would betray me! I will make him pay for what he has done!”

- Excellent first round packed with action! Pendekar locked on a kimura twice only to have Stigma escape. Stigma scored three double leg pickup & slams; that proved to be the difference in this VERY close round. (10 – 9 Stigma; Score: 18 – 17 Stigma)

- Pendekar was furious between rounds & charged right into the clinch & grounded Stigma with o soto makikomi. Each time he allowed Stigma to get back to his feet & then put him down again with another o soto makikomi. The third one knocked Stigma out.
WINNER: Pendekar by KO (o soto makikomi) (2:53 RND 2)
Akuma: “This is my chance, right here tonight. I will bring honor to my dojo & win the POW Lightweight Title.”

Euritar: “Akuma has a special opportunity tonight; he will join the club of fighters that I have defeated. He can talk about honor & talent, but when the time comes to finish the fight; I will be the one that comes out on top.”

Akuma: “Euritar is at the top of his game right now but he hasn’t been challenged for a long time. Tonight I’m going to surprise him with my speed & my striking. He won’t know what to do when I change levels faster than him. I’m going for the knockout.”

Euritar: “I’ve fought better: Pendekar, Stigma, Mann. Just like our last fight, he will come out on his feet but will be unable to stop me from taking him down & submitting him.”

EURITAR ( c ) vs. AKUMA

- WOW!! 5 total knockdowns in the round! It went back & forth early & Akuma came out of a scramble with a choku-tsuki knockdown. The Champ came right back with a Merciless knockdown followed by a roundhouse kick knockdown & then an awesome back suplex inside a minute left. Akuma was far from finished though & scored the final knockdown with only seconds remaining with a leaping double punch! (10-9 Akuma)

- Akuma came out with a spinning back elbow that staggered Euritar; he pressed & landed 3 more HUGE shots. The ref was seconds away from stopping the fight when Euritar finally responded by driving Akuma back into the cage. Akuma reversed position drove Euritar into the cage with shoulder butts & then slammed him to the mat. With a quick transition to mount Akuma locked on a guillotine choke but didn’t get an immediate submission; he rolled & cinched it in & it was over.
