AHNU vs. AKUMA
:: This was a GREAT fight! They stood & traded until Akuma started getting the better of the exchange; Ahnu grounded the fight with a rolling hip throw. On the mat, the fight continued to go back & forth; Akuma regained his feet. Ahnu quickly grounded the fight again with a jumping head kick; then dropped to a rear naked choke for the win.
WINNER: AHNU by SUB
ZED MARLOWE vs. EURITAR
:: Euritar dominated the stand up; Zed did all he could do to tie him up in the clinch. Euritar broke away & Zed caught him flush with a charging knee that K.T.F.O.’d him. (snake eyes)

TK vs. STIGMA
:: TK peppered him with kicks to keep some distance; Stigma pressed into the clinch, double leg pick up & slam…guillotine choke…OVER!

:: Left kick to the knee, right kick to the head…OVER!

:: Another great back & forth fight! They banged fiercely & Zed fought his way out of several bad spots. Ahnu stuffed every takedown & made him pay; then caught him in a rolling hip throw that dropped Zed on his face & knocked him out cold. (snake eyes)

STIGMA vs. THAYNE
:: Thayne threw caution to the wind & swung for the fences; Stigma avoided everything & stepped inside for a sweeping hip throw knockout. Thayne never saw it coming.

AHNU vs. STIGMA
:: Stigma toyed with Ahnu; moved in & out of the clinch at will. He slammed Ahnu down 4 times & continually tried for submissions. Ahnu scrambled away & hit a high kick but Stigma shook it off & went right back to work. Ahnu ran out of chances when Stigma finally locked on a guillotine choke for the win.

SHYLOCK vs. MENSAR
:: Shylock pounded Mensar relentlessly; Mensar picked him up & slammed him for the trouble. Shylock scrambled & went on an offensive onslaught that put 7 tokens on Mensar. He pulled guard in desperation & Shylock left himself open for a bent arm lock & it was all over.
WINNER: MENSAR by SUB
SECTARIAN vs. AHNU
:: Sectarian buckled his knee with an opening low kick & drove him into the mat with a driving cross elbow. Sectarian poured on the punishment with his elbows & Ahnu was finished quickly.
WINNER: SECTARIAN by KO
CONUNDRUM vs. STIGMA
:: Stigma opened with a flurry that rocked Conundrum & grabbed a double leg pickup & slam; Conundrum scrambled away quickly. Stigma took him down again & they reversed positions; Conundrum drove a vicious knee into his head & locked on a power guillotine choke for the win.
WINNER: CONUNDRUM by SUB
FREAKSHOW vs. WRAITH
:: Wraith avoided every strike & hit uppercut combo after uppercut combo until a flying knee strike cleanly knocked Freakshow out.
WINNER: WRAITH by KO

MENSAR vs. SECTARIAN
:: Mensar had no trouble at all with Sectarian & just pounded him senseless; took him down with a uranage & beat him unconscious on the mat with punches & elbows.

WRAITH vs. CONUNDRUM
:: Conundrum took him down at will but couldn’t keep him there; Wraith punched his way back to feet every time. Wraith was swinging for the fences & caught Conundrum with a couple good shots; he drug Conundrum to the mat with a rolling armbar but got his arm trapped in the roll. Conundrum battered him with punches to get free once again. They got back to their feet & Wraith nailed him with an overhand right for the win.

[glow=white,4,300]POW Unified Championship Match:[/glow]
MENSAR vs. WRAITH
:: This was an ALL OUT WAR!!! They traded mercilessly but Mensar got the best of every exchange. Mensar took the fight to the ground & Wraith escaped defeat twice from an arm triangle choke. Wraith landed a ton of strikes but none solid enough to shake Mensar enough to gain an advantage. Mensar was on his game & cleanly won the fight with an exclamation point: double leg pickup & slam.

Lightweight tournament : You know Marlowe gets more wins with that charging knee. Thayne schooled Pendekar. I was actually surpised Pendekaer went down so quickly. Congrats to Stigma. Second Card : Sectarian is performing well right now. Better than I thought he would. Damn that Wraith. I hope Freakshow breaks his neck next time they fight.  I agree Mensar is the Man! He dominates yet another card. Some really great action Eliath. By the way I'm using the Pyramid setup you used in Mayhem to set up for my next GWFZ Champion since The Messenger has to vacate. |

That's it....(rolls around on floor and kicks around like a five year old)...I will not acknowledge the Lightweight tournament at all...TK had the flu, he...ummm...owed gangsters money and had to take a dive...ummm....boo! The Lightweight Championship is dead to me!  And I will not extend a big round of applause for that big doof...Stigma....hmpf! Unified Tournament.....someone should kill that monkey-no one wants their monkey back besides terak...ick! ;D Whoohoo! Mensar blazes through another tournament and becomes a two division champion...whoohoo! (doing the cabbage patch...) Oh yeah! Awesome card and interested to see if ya use my suggestions for the shows...or not...  |

Hey, don't knock the monkey!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will always have a soft spot for Sectarian. When I took a break from the game, I was in the middle of a big battle royal to crown a new champ. I never finished the battle royal , but Sectarian was in the final five. I was rooting for him to be the unlikely new champ. Someday I will go back and finish that battle royal. But until them, GO SECTARIAN!!!!!!!!!! You have 1 fan in the POW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

“First up tonight you will witness the fearsome TEAM DAMAGE INCORPORATED take on the ruthless TEAM SAVAGERY in a battle for supremacy. Let’s take a look at tonight’s match ups.”
A vid-clip rolls highlighting tonight’s match ups; Rubicon-Puma is billed as a FEUD FIGHT & could be the determining factor before the night is finished. The other fights receive cursory coverage; it is mentioned that both Onami & Euritar will be fighting injured tonight. The clip ends by showing Akuma & Thayne © in their dressing rooms preparing for their fight for the LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE[/color].[/i]
“Settle in mutantoids; tonight’s show looks to be a good one.”
TEAM DAMAGE INCORPORATED vs. TEAM SAVAGERY
ONAMI (INJ) vs. CONUNDRUM
:: Onami’s head movement was limited but he put up one hell of a fight! Conundrum took him down at will & works various submissions but Onami blasted his way out of everything. He slammed Conundrum into the cage several times, drove him into the mat; slammed elbows into his head & opened a cut then mounted…the crowd went nuts!! Conundrum rolled out of desperation & took top position but couldn’t advance & Onami again punched his way back to his feet. Conundrum drove in & got rocked by a whirling forearm but completed the takedown & finally locked on a kata getame for the win. The crowd booed the outcome fiercely.
WINNER: CONUNDRUM by SUB
POST FIGHT INTERVIEW:
Trent Lawless: “Conundrum, the crowd seems upset at your victory…”
Conundrum: “Throw all the damn trash you want into the cage! I won the fight; deal with it! Cypher, the clock is ticking for you. I will have my revenge on you; it’s only a matter of time.”
Crowd booing intensifies; Conundrum flips off the fans & leaves the cage.
Trent Lawless: “What’s next for Conundrum?” Shylock & the HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE[/color] or a rematch with Wraith? Only time will tell.”
AHNU vs. EURITAR (INJ)
:: Euritar was fighting the lingering affects of a concussion but still managed to beat the hell out of Ahnu. Vicious flurries of strikes & kicks drove Ahnu backwards; Euritar pressed in for a back suplex…Ahnu’s head bounced off the bottom rail of the cage & it was all over. (snake eyes)
WINNER: EURITAR (INJ) by TKO
POST FIGHT INTERVIEW
Trent Lawless: “Great fight Euritar. You dominated him with vicious efficiency.”
Euritar: “Thanks Lawless. Even though I’m injured; I still took apart a top guy. When I get back to 100%, I’ll be taking the LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE[/color] from whomever is holding it.”
Trent Lawless: “Euritar means business, folks; and business is looking good.”
FEUD FIGHT
RUBICON vs. PUMA
:: Gone was the distracted Rubicon; instead a caged beast waited for the bell. When it sounded, Rubicon totally mauled Puma; put him on the mat with a spinning hammer fist & relentlessly drove knees & elbows into his ribs until Puma stopped moving. Puma never landed a single blow.
WINNER: RUBICON by KO
POST FIGHT INTERVIEW
Trent Lawless: “Ummm…That was a great fight Rubicon.”
Rubicon snatches the mic away from Trent Lawless & holds it right up to his mouth.
Rubicon: “PUMA!! Rubicon business means!! BELT[/color] mine soon!!”
Rubicon slaps the mic back into Trent Lawless’ chest; it is bent & twisted. Lawless rubs his chest in pain as Rubicon walks away.
LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT[/color]
AKUMA vs. STIGMA ©
:: Stigma closed quickly for a double leg pickup & slam; Akuma locked in a tight guillotine choke as they went to the mat. Stigma managed to escape but a leaping elbow & then a spinning back elbow sent him bouncing off the cage; a leaping double punch caught him square on the chin & knocked him out cold.
WINNER: AKUMA by KO
NEW LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION[/color]
POST FIGHT INTERVIEW
Trent Lawless: “Your NEW LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION[/color]: Akuma!!”
The crowd cheers in response to a great fight & the new champion.
Trent Lawless: “You totally dominated a guy who destroyed everyone on his way to the TITLE; how’d you make it look so easy?”
Akuma: “I knew going in that I was the better striker; every time he closed into the clinch & punished him. You saw the result.”
The crowd cheers again…Stigma comes over to acknowledge Akuma’s win & raises his hand in victory; the crowd roars again.
Trent Lawless: “Is it true Akuma that at one point you were asked to play Storm Shadow in the upcoming GI JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA movie?”
Akuma: “It’s very true; I wanted to focus on training & preparation, not a movie career. I was honored they asked me; but I’m a fighter, not an actor.”
There is a disturbance as Euritar appears & makes his way toward the ring; security personnel are keeping him at bay.
Euritar: “Enjoy your time at the top champ; even injured, my fight was better than yours. I’m coming for that TITLE[/color]; count on it!”
Security finally turns Euritar around & sends him into the back.
Trent Lawless: “A rematch with Stigma is on the horizon, and an evident showdown with Euritar for the winner seems evident.”
ZONE OF LAWLESSNESS
Trent Lawless: “Please welcome into the ZONE[/color] The CWA UNIVERSAL CHAMPION[/color] The Messenger!!!”
The crowd thunders as The Messenger steps into the arena with the CWA UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP[/color] around his waist; to his right is The Reckoning, behind them both towers the imposing form of Monolith.[/i]
Trent Lawless: “Welcome to the POW Champ.”
The Messenger snatches away the mic; Monolith shoves Trent Lawless aside roughly.
The Messenger: “You people have been chosen to witness what happens here tonight; and you will tell of it later. We have come for your best…”
The Reckoning: “With every breath we shall beat them down…”
The Messenger: “We shall spill their blood ‘til it rains down from the sky...”
The Reckoning: “There are varying degrees of evil; we are three lesser forms of filth…”
The Messenger: “Once this fed has been cleansed we shall move on victorious…”
Monolith reaches between them, grabs the camera & pulls it in close on his face.
Monolith: “Prepare for THE END; Monolith has come!”
The POW UNIFIED CHAMPION & SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION[/color] Mensar steps into the arena; the crowd roars their approval as Mensar, with a belt over each shoulder, enters the cage & stands before The Messenger & company.[/i]
Mensar: “Let me get this straight; you want our best? Well, he’s standing right in front of you.”
The Messenger: “No man should display his bravery unless he is prepared for battle; Monolith…”
Monolith steps forward & the cage quickly clears.
Trent Lawless: “This is unbelievable! The POW does not sanction this!”
MENSAR © © vs. MONOLITH
:: Monolith blasted the double champion with a sternum punch; Mensar dropped the belts & hit him with punches to the head & ribs. Monolith drove him backwards & splashed him into the cage then dropped him with an overhand right.
WINNER: MONOLITH by KO
Monolith bends; picks up both titles & shoulders them. Trent Lawless accompanies The Messenger & The Reckoning back to his side inside the cage.
The Messenger: “If that was your best then our stay here will be short.”
Trent Lawless: "He cannot claim those titles! This was an unsanctioned fight in the POW!
The Reckoning: "It doesn't look like there is anyone here big enough to come take them from him either does it?"
POW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION[/color] Shylock appears & the crowd goes nuts; he slowly makes his way to the cage & steps inside.[/i]
Shylock: “You wanted the best; this belt says I’m one of the best. What are you going to do about it?”
The Reckoning takes a step forward; The Messenger puts a hand on him to restrain him.
The Messenger: “Brother; nothing will be given to us. Struggle is built into the nature of life; and conflict is possible. This is my time.”
The Messenger stepped forward, removed his duster & handed it to his brother; removed the CWA UNIVERSAL TITLE[/color] & handed it to Monolith. Monolith followed The Reckoning out of the cage; leaving Shylock with a final look of malicious intent as he slung the the third title belt over his shoulder.[/i]
SHYLOCK © vs. THE MESSENGER
:: Shylock surged forward & pounded The Messenger with a flurry of shots; he blocked each of them & launched a counter attack that Shylock countered. Back & forth these two went relentlessly. The Messenger quickly opened a cut above Shylock’s eye & that only drove Shylock on to ground the fight & punish The Messenger with brutal punches & elbows until he too was bleeding from a wicked gash. At every turn, each had an answer. Back to their feet & again The Messenger rocked Shylock back into the cage; Shylock swept his feet & planted The Messenger on his back. He turned The Messenger into the cage & started swinging for the fences from the guard; a cross elbow bounced The Messenger’s head off the cage & Shylock poured it on but The Messenger was unconscious & the fight was over.
WINNER: SHYLOCK by KO
Shylock staggered back to his feet; The Reckoning grabbed him by the head & forcefully ran him face first into the cage then picked him up for an Avenger Drop but The Messenger was back on his feet again; bleeding profusely.
The Messenger: “STOP!!”
The Reckoning slowly releases Shylock to fall to the mat; The Messenger kneels beside Shylock & helps him back to his feet & puts the POW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP[/color] into his hands, then raises his hand in victory to the crowd; they thunder their approval.[/i]
The Messenger: “This man does not deserve this treatment. He fought with honor & emerged victorious. He has earned my respect.”
Trent Lawless: "Who in the POW will step forward like Shylock to oppose The Messenger & his band of thugs? What will happen when the POW sanctions these three to fight? Things are getting out of control in the....AHHHHHH!"
Monolith grabs Trent Lawless & lifts the microphone (along with Trent Lawless) to his mouth.
Monolith: "Who is man enough to take these titles back from Monolith? Cower in fear; Monolith has come!"
Monolith drops the mic & Trent Lawless back to the mat; they leave the arena accompanied by a thunderous roar.

Holy crap that was a great show, bro! Loved the drama with everyone wanting a fight and to see Messenger and co come into things. I'm very interested at seeing what's next. Keep the suspense rolling, my friend.  |

HELL YEAH! The Divine Gathering make an impact right from the start. I'm sad The Messenger got beat, but he put up a hell of a fight regardless. Shylock just came out on top was all.
Monolith is going to be very hard to beat if his MMA card is anything like his wrestling card. I think he may hold on to those belts for the remainder of their stay.
Love the post fight interviews. Seems like Rubicon ended up with some of Yoda's DNA.
*Just a note you had Akuma facing Stigma for the Championship, but Thayne is billed as the Champ.*
