POW Fighter Frenzy IV MMA Madness Series (4 of 5) Pleiades Armoury
-- The show opened with Matinee Idol standing as if he was some Greek statue, at the top of the rampway, hand extended. The crowd booed, more and more as Idol just stood there, with Franco parading about him, taking photos with what seemed to be a camera with a super-bright flash. -- Finally, Idol relaxed and laughed. "Oh yes, I know....thank you for such adulation. It's nice to see that the Pleaides have people much more in tune with the arts, than that rabble in the Sol System. There are times it shames me to call it my home system." -- Louder jeers. "In any case, it would seem that the son of the 'mighty' Death Knight has taken exception to me calling a spade a spade, as it were. I merely speak truth when I point out that the clumsy Knight was the king of jobbers in his day. Look, this movie I'm doing -- the rise of Star Warrior and the early GWF, set in the unique backdrop of mixed martial arts -- strives for truth, in my own distinct manner of storytelling. And the truth calls for Death Knight to be what he was -- absolutely terrible." -- Franco chimed in, " I cou-na be more proud of dis project. I lived tru de GWF early years. I know of what Matinee Idol speaks. I was der. I wrestled dis Death Knight. I wrestled de Star Warrior. An' what means dis so special is our distinctive way of tellin' dis story as if it was de mixed martial arts back den. It'sa truly genius. Genius!" -- Idol nodded emphatically. " Brilliant, in fact. Taking the storied wrestling tradition of the GWF and turning it on its head as if it were MMA. And while I thought that tubby Smooth was going to capture the ineptitude of Death Knight, it wasn't meant to be -- so now I get to use the very SON of Death Knight! That's right -- this equally bumbling Dread Knight, whom I destroyed in our first fight. And tonight, I'll get Take Two! I can't wait!" -- He paraded around a bit, somehow interrupted the boos, vulgarities and hissing as praise, then left with Franco.
Sir Stephan Boniface -vs- Quicksilver Referee: Xerxes Mandor -- These two local cruiserweights got some nice reaction from the crowd. Sir Stephan hammed it up with some exaggerated antics playing off his 'nobility', though he clearly was having fun with it as opposed to what the crowd just had to endure with Matinee Idol. -- He and Quicksilver had a nice fight, mostly involving strikes. Boniface got Quicksilver down at one point and managed to lock in some submissions, but couldn't maintain them, and eventually the referee forced them back to their feet, where Quicksilver pounced with a nice kick that knocked Sir Stephan down and out. Quicksilver - KO - high kick
Indigo -vs- Taurine Referee: Xerxes Mandor -- Back from injury, Indigo was particularly intense! He was all over Taurine from the get go, landing blistering punches in particular. He got Taurine in serious trouble, then unloaded with head shots over and over. By the time the referee stepped in, the damage was done and Taurine was a bloody mess! -- Indigo leapt to his feet and charged towards the nearest cameraman, yelling, "I'm back, Puma, and I know your suspension is over too. Whether they strip your title or not, and I don't care what weight classes we're in, I'm going to do onto you much more than you did to me. Only it won't be cowardly cheap shots. I'll get right in your face and PUNISH you!" Indigo - TKO - punches to head Taurine is injured for 4 fight cards
For Cruiserweight #1 Contention Pendekar -vs- Thayne Referee: Ven Riksash -- Another gem. Thayne started off strong, rocking Pendekar early. But the poised Pendekar held on, got a second wind, and got this one to the mat where Thayne was unable to turn the grappling to his advantage. -- Pendekar got his kimura armlock in for an extended time, and the referee watched closely and almost stopped it, but Thayne -- despite obvious agony -- finally got out of it....only to find himself in a keylock. It was over. Pendekar - TKO - keylock Thayne is injured for 1 fight card
Dread Knight -vs- Matinee Idol Referee: Ven Riksash -- Idol took his own sweet time coming down to the ring, tossing glossy autographed photos of himself to the crowd the whole way (most of them came back at him in some capacity). -- Dread Knight had troubles with his enemy in the first encounter, but he dominated this one. Using his strength of administering some damage from clinches, he was all over Idol, then brought him down with nifty choke! Dread Knight - SUB - falling guillotine choke
-- The crowd went nuts cheering Polter's defeat. Franco gesticulated wildly and insisted to referee Riksash that Knight's choke was illegal. It fell on deaf ears however. Knight went after the manager as he complained, but Franco wisely got out of the ring, and with Idol made their way backstage.
Main Event Euritar -vs- T.K. Referee: Ven Riksash -- T.K. got embarrassed -- and hurt -- in their first meeting. This time wasn't much better. Euritar was clearly in no mood for T.K. and his constant complaining about Euritar's "special treatment" in POW. He blasted T.K. with several kicks at the get-go, then dropped him viciously with a roundhouse! -- This one was over in a hurry! Euritar - KO - roundhouse kick to stomach
-- As Euritar celebrated his victory with hands raised from the top rope, Mensar rushed down! He went after Euritar, but couldn't get a sneak attack off, and a wild brawl ensued! -- As the two exchanged punches, T.K. managed to recover and clipped Euritar's knee from behind. He and Mensar kicked at their foe over and over again, amidst boos. Talisman jumped up and down, encouraging the attack and yelling, "Strike down the infidel!" -- Before it got uglier, Raze made it down and managed to ward off the double-teamers. He helped up a battered Euritar and the two stared down the retreating T.K., Mensar and Talisman. -- "The Elite shall be punished!" Talisman cried out. "The Favored Non-Believers shall pay!"
-- It was announced that President Prodigy will address the request to strip Puma of his Super Heavyweight Title at Fighter Frenzy V.

POW Fighter Frenzy V MMA Madness Series (5 of 5) Pleiades Fighters' Guild Arena
-- Euritar, looked a little bit bruised across his face, stormed out as this show kicked off. He was looking particularly surly as he strode down to the ring, grabbed a mic, and began his tirade. -- "First off, let me thank for Raze for having my back. I can take care of myself, but one should never underestimate what a cowardly slimeball Mensar is. I mean, we all know Cordanus rewrote the definition of the word 'coward' in his career, but now it seems it's really rubbing off on his big lug." -- Euritar got a pop for that, as he continued. "As for T.K....okay, he's got some beef with me about being 'favored', and like a pesky little gnat, he keeps flying into my business. So what do I do? I -destroy- him twice. But I guess that's not enough. T.K. -- you REALLY want my attention? Well now you've gotten it. Mensar, I'll deal with you as I always have....by beating you. It doesn't matter if it's wrestling or MMA, I've always had your number and always will. Both of you, now that you have my full attention, are in serious trouble!"
Talon -vs- Brainstorm Referee: Ktar Varliss -- This one was over almost immediately. Brainstorm managed to heave his opponent up and slam him down viciously for a sudden KO! Brainstorm - KO - high crotch pick up and slam
Ahnu -vs- Scion Nexus Referee: Protorion -- Ahnu put the wrestling and MMA worlds on notice with his impressive showing at POW Undisputed. Here, he continued a hot streak by overwhelming Nexus with strikes until the Titan dropped. Ahnu pounced and rained down punches until the ref stopped things. Ahnu - KO - mounted punches
Saboteur -vs- Nero Referee: Ktar Varliss -- The masked conspirator is on a serious cold streak, much to the delight of most fans. He came into this one desperately needing a positive momentum shift. -- As it started, it appeared as if the masked one was doomed to fail again. Nero was all over him, clubbing him with fists and rocking him several times. But tonight Saboteur got back on track. Shaken, he nonetheless fired off a snapping axe kick that smashed Nero square in the nose, nearly breaking it. The animalistic combatant dropped and was finished! Saboteur - KO - axe kick
-- Cypher was slated to face the man he is soon to face for the wrestling heavyweight title, but he stopped in Hood's office on the way to the match. Cameras caught it and displayed it for the fans. -- Cypher poked his head in and said, "You got a second?" -- Hood nodded. "Aye, Cypher. What is it?" -- "So about this title shot I get from winning POW Undisputed....can I ask a ground rule or two?" Hood nodded again, looking quizzical. -- "So when can I challenge a champion? On any card? What kind of advance notice do I need to give?" -- Hood cocked his head. "I thought yer mind was made up and ye be takin' on Raze for the wrestlin' strap?" -- Cypher shrugged. "Just asking my options." -- "Ye need to tell us at least before a card starts. If ye want, ye can pop in here minutes before one, or ye can plan it in advance. Yer call. Wrestling or MMA." -- Cypher nodded. "Thanks."
Cypher -vs- Raze Referee: Protorion -- Cypher's inquiries about his title shot left everybody wondering if he was still planning to take on Raze for the title. So was this a sneak MMA peek, or just another match? -- Either way, Cypher wasted no time proving why he's the top dog in POW. He got Raze down quickly, then locked on a crossface until the big man tapped out. Just like that. Cypher - SUB - crossface
Main Event -- for Super Heavyweight #1 Contention Mensar -vs- Gunnar Referee: Protorion -- Just as the announcer was about to call down the first combatant, President Prodigy marched down to the ring. Were we going to get the official word on Indigo's request to get Puma's title stripped? -- "Ladies and gentlemen, I'm sorry to interrupt, but I've been giving considerable thought to the issues brought to my attention regarding Puma's sneak attack and injury upon Indigo. It was completely uncalled for. Wrestling is allowed its drama, but MMA is designed to be a pure test of combat. And while Puma's actions were done on a wrestling card, he as an MMA champion is supposed to be an ambassador." -- Fans gasped and whispered as Commissioner Hood burst forth from the curtains and stood staring down the ring ramp at the president. Prodigy pretended he didn't notice. "Therefore, tonight's match between Gunnar and Mensar will BE for the Super Heavyweight Title! Puma is stripped of the belt. And that's all I have to say on the matter." -- Hood narrowed his eyes and stared holes into Prodigy, but then spun around and left before the president could make it up the ramp.
-- And so, the TITLE match began! -- Gunnar and Mensar got into it at Undisputed, where the big man from Mensa got both his victories in MMA. Did that give him a decided advantage in this suddenly huge match? -- The two felt each other out with some nice striking action, back and forth. Neither was able to get much grappling in, so it stayed mostly an on-their-feet battle. -- The stunning moment came when Gunnar, shaken by some heavy strikes, managed to get his bearings and connect with very fast punches in a combination. When his third punch connected with Mensar's face, the big man flew back into the ropes, then collapsed face-first, a puddle of blood growing beneath him! He was out cold! -- Medics had to attend to Mensar, and what appeared to be a broken jaw. Gunnar leapt onto the top rope and pumped his fists wildly. He was the champ! Gunnar - TKO - right, left, right combo NEW CHAMPION!!! Mensar is hurt 5 fight cards

POW Wreckage Planet POW[/b]
-- Planet POW was jam-packed with loud, enthusiastic fans. The show began with a superb vignette capturing the greatest achievements in the long, illustrious career of Jack of Diamonds. His five tag-team championships with Killer Queen as Royal Family....his three GWF Interstellar Championships...his four CPC Championships...all culminating in his unlikely wins that led him to tonight's title shot against MMA Heavyweight juggernaut Shylock.
-- Cypher arrived at the stadium and marched to the locker room where Jack Hood was preparing for his upcoming fight. He closed the door behind him, blocking out the camera crew and leaving everyone to wonder if the Undisputed winner was cashing in his title shot tonight!
Jack Hood -vs- Absalom Referee: Ven Riksash -- The crowd went nuts for Jack Hood, many of them chanting "Prodigy Sucks!" throughout this fight. The first time the chant rippled through the arena, Hood even seemed to be grinning. -- This was a superb opener. Both men got equal amounts of offense -- and damage -- in, but in the end, it was Hood that prevailed against a solid opponent! Jack Hood - KO - punches and elbows to head
Zed Marlowe -vs- Brainstorm Referee: Ven Riksash -- Two big guns in the cruiserweight division collided....and brought to the Pleiades faithful another solid bout. -- Brainstorm started really doling out damage to Marlowe's arm, alternating arm bars and kimura armlocks....but Marlowe kept managing to escape. Finally, Zed got back to his feet and used an outside leg reap to drop Brainstorm! Zed Marlowe - KO - outside leg reap
Mike Fortune -vs- Saboteur Referee: Ven Riksash -- Jack Hood and company must have been feeling devilish when they paired these two allies for this match. Fortune seemed wholly unhappy about it....and of course no one could register Saboteur's feelings. -- This one was one-sided. Saboteur drilled Fortune almost immediately with a jab, nearly KOing him right there. Fortune recovered, only to get another vicious jab....and another! Three was the charm and the Hitman dropped like a bad habit and was done. Saboteur - KO - quick jab
-- Cypher was seen backstage, stretching in the locker area. Dynamo stopped in and asked, "So....are you challenging the heavyweight champ tonight?" -- Cypher grinned. "I'm just checking things out tonight. What makes you think I'm using my challenge?" -- "Well, you asked about the challenge conditions at Fighter Frenzy V, and we saw you talk privately with the commissioner at the start of the program...." -- With a shrug, Cypher simply replied, "You don't know what I talked to Hood about. Pure speculation."
Euritar -vs- T.K. Referee: Protorion -- Euritar was all over T.K. at the bell, wasting no time trying to exact revenge on the man who blindsided him with Mensar. It started to look as if T.K. was going to get a third lopsided loss to the man he feels is "favored by the powers that be". -- However, T.K. recovered from the early attack, and got Euritar to the mat, where he nearly locked in submissions on several occasions. Euritar seemed as if he was about to tap out of an arm lock....but he worked out of it, and soon after, the referee decided to break things up and get them back to their feet. -- T.K. capitalized with some strikes, but then Euritar countered with a crowd-gasping blast to his enemy's jaw....and this one was done. Euritar dropped awkwardly, clutching his jaw. Euritar - TKO - quick jaw blast T.K. is hurt 2 fight cards
Dread Knight -vs- Matinee Idol Referee: Protorion -- The rubber match of this intense feud! And what another gem! -- These two absolutely unloaded on each other. Idol seemed to actually be the better man, frequently getting Knight to the mat and nearly choking him out on several occasions. Somehow, perhaps fueled by a crowd completely in his favor, Knight kept finding ways to escape. -- Both men were clearly exhausted when Knight slammed Idol down, wrenched a knee bar on Idol, and forced the tap out! Dread Knight - SUB - knee bar
Puma -vs- Indigo Referee: Protorion -- Dr. Barnabas was promising all day that Indigo would pay dearly for "being a little whiner and getting Puma's title stripped". And while Puma's intentions are always unclear these days, it was obvious that the doctor had fired up his 'specimen'. Puma was champing at the bit to get this one started. -- Even so, Indigo -- still irate over the injury that Darwin's Legacy and Puma gave him -- got his licks in off the get-go. He smothered Puma with strikes, to the approval of the crowd....but made a costly mistake in trying to drop Puma to the mat. -- Puma used his superior grappling skills to take over, and seemed to snap! He savagely choked Indigo, wrenching so hard that even though the ref stopped it, damage was done! Indigo was out cold. Puma - TKO - sit out side choke Indigo is hurt 3 fight cards
Cruiserweight Championship Stigma (c) -vs- Pendekar Referee: Xerxes Mandor -- This was an instant classic, and one of the best MMA fights ever in POW. -- Pendekar showed why he is perhaps the most gifted offensive fighter in MMA, overwhelming the champ with move after move, from strikes to clinches to grappling. And yet Stigma kept hanging in there and avoiding lasting damage. -- After one of the longest MMA matches POW has had, an exhausted Stigma managed to get Pendekar down, where he unloaded elbows until the ref cut in! Stigma - KO - mounted elbows - RETAINS CHAMPIONSHIP
MAIN EVENT - Heavyweight Championship Shylock -vs- Jack of Diamonds Referee: Xerxes Mandor -- Thought most people were expecting this to be lopsided, the simple fact that a CPC/POW legend had gotten himself to an unlikely MMA title shot really had the fans into this one. Shylock, in his stoic way, nodded to Jack and the two clasped hands at the start, in a nice show of respect. -- This one saw Shylock dominate early, rocking Jack with powerful kicks and punches....but somehow Jack kept on his feet, and kept fighting back! -- With the crowd getting behind him, Jack even got in some offense, though he never was able to do any serious damage. -- Jack kept finding ways to survive, truly showing his never-say-die veteran prowess....but Shylock was just too good, and finally was able to put him away, with an air-stealing throw. Shylock - KO - belly to belly throw - RETAINS CHAMPIONSHIP
-- The crowd roared as Cypher promptly strode down to ringside! Had he arranged his title shot tonight, against the winner? He took his sweet time getting there, leaving Shylock to catch his breath and wait stone-faced. -- Cypher got into the ring and got right into Shylock's face. He then looked down and snatched the heavyweight title from Shylock's hands, peered at it, turned it over a few times....then handed it back. -- Shylock made a "What gives?" expression, but Cypher merely smirked, patted him on the back, then left! -- He paused halfway up the ramp, where a hopeful Dynamo was standing with a microphone. Cypher took it and said, " You think I'd stoop to taking on a man who just fought a title fight? You guys don't know Cypher. I want Shylock at his best....and I'll be cashing in my title shot against him, not Rage. My skills are wasted in wrestling."

So sorry I haven't looked to comment on this yet. Too bad Jack couldn't pull it off in the end, but I think the setup for Shylock/Cypher should be a good one!

POW Battlezone Shaula Center
-- Dynamo managed to intercept Prodigy backstage. The president seemed in a hurry, but stopped impatiently. Dynamo asked, "What is going on with you and the commissioner? Everyone wants to know how the two top decision makers can keep battling each other...." -- Prodigy laughed. "Are you serious? POW management is a cohesive unit. We may differ on minor things, like suspensions and title shots, but I assure you that Commissioner Hood and I have only the best interest of the POW at heart." -- He then added, "And why are we talking about controversies and struggles anyway? Tonight is our triumphant return to one of the wrestling hotbeds in the galaxy, Shaula. And we're rewarding our fans here with a main event for the cruiserweight title! The long-reigning Dante will face the red-hot Ahnu!"
Harm -vs- J.J. Smooth -- The Shaula fans gave Harm a nice ovation, recognizing him from the GWFZ, which made several stops in the sector. -- Harm had no problems with the POW's resident jobber. He dominated this one, with his knee causing him no grief. Harm PINs Smooth after HARM'S WAY
-- Qualitar stopped Harm before he left ringside and asked him if he had a few minutes. "So you left the GWF's developmental league pretty quickly? What drove you out?" -- Harm replied, "There were a few things. For one, it was obvious to most of us that, despite the promise of that fed, there was little future. Commissioner Massif has been making it abundantly clear that the GWF is the GWF and the GWFZ is the GWFZ....and the two will seldom, if ever, mix. Many of us saw the writing on the wall -- that as long as he's in charge, the developmental league is a dead end. He's not at all behind it." -- Janus chimed in, "Well I certainly can lend credibility to that statement. I was lured there by Massif's promises. He got me in the GWFZ as a head trainer and wrestler, and promised me one more run at the GWF Title. I got a manager run in the GWF, but never was allowed past the undercard. When I found myself wasting time wrestling the likes of Symbiote and was forced to manage only GWFZ guys, I knew I had to get out. It's not my style to badmouth the competition -- but I can simply say that Massif is a slimeball." -- Harm nodded. "I don't want to badmouth them either. So I'll leave it at that. Even though there are no open spots on the permanent POW roster right now, I think match-by-match paydays and the opportunity to be a part of the hottest federation in the galaxy are reasons enough to be here!"
SkyFire -vs- Darwin's Legacy -- The Dr. Barnabas power play continues. Darwin's Legacy annihilated the high-flyers in a squash. After the match, Barnabas kept yelling, "It doesn't matter who holds the titles -- war is declared. Punks, you are caretakers for Darwin's Legacy's titles! No one can stop us. Not you, not the President, not the Commissioner....no one!" Darwin's Legacy over SkyFire by EXTINCTION
Excalibur -vs- Brainstorm -- Brainstorm constantly mocked Excalibur in this one, which was an excellent battle! -- Excalibur continues to impress though, and a victory here was a huge one. Brainstorm threw a fit afterwards, accusing the referee of a fast count. Excalibur over Brainstorm by POINT OF THE SWORD
Euritar -vs- Puma -- What a battle of juggernauts here! This one was a war. Euritar dazzled the crowd early on with his superior agility, and seemed as if he was going to stop the savage AniMan....but with Dr. Barnabas barking instructions, Puma managed to get back on track....and this one became a knock-down/drag-out battle. -- In the end, Euritar managed to kick out after receiving Puma's finisher....but the damage was done. Puma wins a huge victory here! Puma over Euritar by flying knife-edge
-- Dr. Barnabas went on a rant again. "You see what my specimens can do? No one can stop Darwin's Legacy, and no one can stop Puma! You saw what happened to Indigo when he got in our way. Now you see how the mighty Euritar has fared against my finest work. Commissioner....President....I know you are watching. Make this man the #1 contender right now. An injustice was done to us when Puma was stripped of his MMA title. Undo that wrong and make Puma the contender to Raze's belt. Do it that way....or it'll be our way. And that will hurt a lot of people!"
MAIN EVENT for the Cruiserweight Wrestling Championship Dante (c) -vs- Ahnu -- Dante came into this one as one of the most dominant champions in all of wrestling. But he knew he had a daunting challenge against the man who nearly won POW Undisputed. -- This one was a superb match. Both men attempted daring top-rope moves, damaging themselves and each other with suicide dives. -- Dante was unable to utilize either of his finishers.....but Ahnu locked on his own not once, but three times.....Dante was forced to top out on the third, and a new champion was crowned! Ahnu captures the Cruiserweight Title via COUNTERINSURGENCY
-- Before the title could even be handed to the new champion, Thayne burst forth from the crowd, leapt into the ring, and speared Ahnu! The crowd went crazy as Thayne pummeled his hated enemy with punches. Ahnu tried fighting back, but Thayne was a man possessed. -- Security poured into the ring and stopped this from getting ugly. Thayne cried out in frustration as they dragged him off. Ahnu, a cut across his forehead, seethed and stared down his foe from the ring.

Man have I missed a bunch of stuff!
Glad to see Dread Knight doing well.
The Cypher/ Shylock fight should be great.
Gunnar winning the SHW belt was awesome.
And Pendakar cheated in his match against Thayne. I was at the arena and saw it.

Planet POW at the Planet POW
-- As expected, Faustus Grael himself strode out to the ring, smiling ear to ear and getting a tremendous ovation. He spent several minutes shaking fans' hands, waving and pumping up the crowd. -- At last, he spoke. "Folks, it's just such an honor for me to be here about the many fans who have made POW one of the greatest successes in sports! When I took over this operation, I knew a unique blend of MMA and wrestling would attract even more fans....but even I underestimated just how far this fire would spread. Our ratings are through the roof. Even 'the top dog' is sweating its newfound competition." The crowd started chanting "P-O-W" over and over loudly. -- Grael let it continue for awhile, then went on. "Now, there has been quite a stir of late. Some business about my President and my Commissioner not 'getting along', and trying to one up the other. Well, I can assure you that both Prodigy and Jack Hood have nothing but POW's success in mind, and that these rumors and innuendo are overblown. Jack Hood and Prodigy, I assure you, are working cooperatively together. I wouldn't have it any other way. If that were to change, well....let's just say I wouldn't stand for that. Not when the POW has come so far...." -- He smiled, held out a finger, then continued, "But I'm mindful of these rumors, and I realize that just me dismissing them doesn't make them go away. So I decided, rather than ignore them, why not come up with a clever concept? That's why I conjured up....the POW Power Struggle!" -- The crowd didn't know what to make of it, but it sounded impressive, so many cheered. -- "President Prodigy will assemble a team of 5. Jack Hood will do the same. We'll use the same scoring system as POW Undisputed....and the first team to 25 pts wins! And what do they win? Well, we'll reveal that later. And we'll start the draft on the next fight card. You think these two are against each other? Well why not start a healthy competition!"
-- Faustus Grael added, "And to bring you wonderful fans some real excitement, I have personally decided to grant Dr. Barnabas his wish....and Puma will challenge for the Heavyweight Wrestling Title right here tonight, against our worthy champion Raze!"
The Legacy -vs- Gordo -- The fans were surprised by another sudden GWFZ defect. Joining the POW on a match-by-match, part-time basis is the silent warrior The Legacy! And while he had some difficulties early on, he pulled off a nice debut victory. The Legacy beats Gordo via INNER PEACE
Matinee Idol -vs- Silas -- Idol's posturing and arrogance turned off the entire crowd, whereas Silas downing a Silasweiser as he came down to the ring, and high-flying fans, got a much more positive reaction. -- Idol appeared poised for a squash win, but he went for a deathjump when Silas got to his feet and executed a stunning superplex for the upset! Silas beats Matinee Idol via superplex
-- Franco tried to convince the referee that Silas exceeded 5 seconds atop the top rope, but the referee dismissed the 'footage' and upheld the decision.
Mike Fortune -vs- Mensar -- The surly, struggling hitman had a big opportunity here....and he capitalized! Mensar, still recovering from injuries sustained at Fighter Frenzy V, just couldn't get it together here. -- After the match, the Hitman told Dynamo that he's tired of working in the shadows of Saboteur, and that he was going to start making waves of his own. Mike Fortune beats Mensar with MONEY TALKS
Saboteur -vs- Jack of Diamonds -- Jack's Cinderella story on the MMA side solidified him as one of the biggest fan favorites....and they were behind him tonight. Sadly, Saboteur made a joke of this one and destroyed Jack. -- With the crowd booing, Saboteur kicked Jack repeatedly after the match, mocking the legend. He then threw him out of the ring like garbage and strode out confidently. -- Dynamo tried to interview him, but all the masked one said was, "I'm done wasting my time with jokes like that has-been. This federation can't keep me down any longer. My time is coming." Saboteur beats Jack by VENGEANCE IS MINE
MAIN EVENT for the Heavyweight Wrestling Title Raze (c) -vs- Puma -- Dr. Barnabas was beaming, having gotten his way and getting the dangerous Puma a title shot. -- This one turned out to be a gem. Puma went crazy and nearly won in mere minutes after his finisher....but Raze came back and then used his own finisher for near victory! -- Puma, rocked, managed to make a big comeback with a deathdrop and captured the title! Puma beats Raze by scorpion deathdrop -- NEW CHAMPION!
