Glad to see this fed back up and running, awesome pairing for the main event...too bad Rubicon went spacey but sounded like it was a solid fight anyhow. Gritty Marco and Janus rules!

Well, Rubicon's got...issues.
Nice show, and good for the debuters and returnees!

Very nice show here, plus I love your format and the way you present stuff. Loved the news bit as well, it was kinda cool to see.

POW Battlezone Pleiades Stadium of Heroes
-- President Prodigy came out to a mixed reaction. He went right into it, "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the greatest MMA action in the universe. Tonight, we've got Ahnu and Dante in a cage fight -- the winner taking great strides towards #1 contention." -- The crowd cheered loudly for the great main event. Prodigy added, "And would you fine fans like to meet the man who will face Jack of Diamonds in his final match of a long, illustrious career?"
-- Familiar music resounded as out walked....Raven! The Pleaides faithful went berserk! -- Raven joined Prodigy in the ring and shook his hand. "I'm glad to be back. I didn't end things here the way I'd have liked, but coming back to give Jack the fight of his life is much better. I respect him, and always have -- but if he thinks I've gone soft, or that age has caught up to me, he's sorely mistaken. I may not be the man who won the belt after belt, but I'm still better than most."
Quetzal -vs- Romulus -- This one was a pleasant surprise. Quetzal, now without his partner Talon, looked far better than people expected. MMA has traditionally not been his forte, but he looked very strong here, showing newfound grappling prowess that nearly forced Romulus to tap out on several occasions. -- Ultimately, the cagy veteran Romulus managed to turn things around and send the luchador packing with a blistering jaw strike! Romulus wins by KO via strike to jaw
Brainstorm -vs- Macro -- As if Nano wasn't enough....to say nothing of the wonkiness of the Mad Jester and company....we now have another playful being! -- Brainstorm viewed Macro with supreme derision as this one started....but boy did the self-proclaimed genius get more than he bargained for! This was a marathon, with both men unable to put away the other. Every time Brainstorm thought he'd have control, the bizarre Macro got away. -- Making matters worse for Brainstorm, Macro found the entire fight very amusing and entertaining, laughing his way out of submission holds. 'Storm got more and more frustrated by this, and started losing his edge. -- In the end, Macro got on top of his foe and reigned down knees and fists, whooping it up gleefully! The referee stopped the fight. Though he was obviously groggy and unable to respond, Brainstorm was furious, claiming that the match was stopped prematurely. Macro wins by KO via knees and fists
Absalom -vs- Konari -- The mysterious monk debuted to an uncertain, tentative reaction from the crowd. Oddly, he was ensconced by an unusual amount of security as he made his way down. -- He did manage to win the fans over, however, by decimating Absalom in all aspects of this fight. Quite the impressive debut. Konari wins by SUBMISSION via bent arm lock
Post-Match -- Dynamo stopped Konari, who calmly stated, "I am here to fulfill my destiny. I must protect Thayne. My life is at risk for doing so, but the cause is great....the cause is greater than any of you can imagine. Thayne, we must talk -- I know you've been avoiding me, but I pledge unswerving loyalty to you. I can prove it."
T.K. -vs- Zed Marlowe -- T.K. has put together an impressive MMA career thus far, but he was unable to solve Marlowe tonight. He was never able to maintain offense, with Zed constantly taking control and keeping this a standing, striking affair. Zed Marlowe wins by KO via hard right jab
Post-Match -- T.K. offered a succinct response to Dynamo afterwards. "I have no words. My voice is in my hands and fists. I shall let them say what I wish to say....and that bodes poorly for Raze, Benedict, and anyone who refuses to accept The True Way."
MAIN EVENT....in the Cage! Ahnu -vs- Dante -- Ahnu looked particularly surly today, no doubt related to the arrival of Konari as a possible ally for Thayne. -- This was a great match, much to the delight of the fans. Dante entertained them with his flamboyance, while Ahnu impressed them with his always-solid arsenal of moves. -- This went back and forth without any real damage sustained....until Ahnu snapped a rolling backfist into Dante's temple, which crumpled the Italian and abruptly ended this one! Ahnu wins by KO via rolling backfist

Solid card...enjoyed Macro giving Brainstorm fits. Impressive debut for Konari as well. Ahnu is quite the punisher in the MMA ring and Dante's no slouch!

POW ThunderStorm at the Pleaides Armoury
-- Tonight features some key heavyweight and superheavyweight matches that will go a long way in determining the next round of challengers for the MMA champions. -- We'll see Benedict and Silas duke it out, then Mensar and The Zealot. Both of those fights will be judged. The more impressive of the two victors will take on the winner of our co-main event, featuring former Superheavyweight Champion Gunnar versus Puma, for #1 contention. -- Also tonight, Raze will fight Indigo and in our other main event, Cypher will wage war with Saboteur. The winners of those fights will duke it out for the right to take on Shylock.
Dread Knight -vs- Jack Hood -- The Pleaides faithful were on their feet for Jack Hood, making one of his infrequent in-ring appearances. Dread Knight got a decent fan reaction himself, having become an underdog hero in POW. -- Unexpectedly, this turned out to be one heck of a fight. Dread Knight put in his best performance to date, in a battle that went back and forth several times. In fact, Knight seemed poised at times to KO Hood, but just couldn't get the job done. Ditto for the commissioner. -- In the end, Jack connected and downed the son of Death Knight. The crowd ate up this entire fight. It is rumored that Jack had wanted to see firsthand if D.K. is worth a spot on the POW roster. Even in defeat, the second generation fighter appears to have passed that test. Jack Hood wins by KO via hammer fist
Benedict -vs- Silas -- This one was fairly uneventful. Benedict had troubles with Silas initially, but gradually took control. Even so, he wasn't able to put away Silas for a good while. -- Benedict has been impressive in that he's now won both of his first matches, but it didn't appear as if he wowed the judges trying to decide if this match or the Mensar-The Zealot match will product a better foe for the #1 contender fight. Benedict wins by KO via snap kick to head
Raze -vs- Indigo -- Indigo continues to impress. He destroyed Raze in what was entirely a strikefest. Indigo wins by KO via uppercut
Mensar -vs- The Zealot -- On paper, this seemed like prime material for a route, with perennial tough guy Mensar taking on an inexperienced newcomer. That wasn't exactly the case. Talisman's silent loyalist held his own against an initial barrage of strikes by Mensar. When the Mensan took it to the mat, The Zealot managed to evade serious problems by blocking and wriggling free of submissions. -- Mensar never let up, perhaps silencing critics who cited his inability to go long in MMA fights. At one point, the referee broke up their grappling and made them stand up -- and Mensar responded with a thunderous left and right combo that sent The Zealot crumpling to the mat in a bloodied heap! Mensar wins by TKO via left, ring combo The Zealot is hurt 3 fight cards
-- The judges, after an intermission where they deliberated, determined that Mensar's victory was more impressive than Benedict's! Mensar will await the winner of the next fight, to decide against whom Hanuman's first title defense will be.
Gunnar -vs- Puma -- Tonight, we saw the side of Puma that catapulted him to the top of POW's MMA early on. He overwhelmed the former champ and, according to plan, quickly got this one down on the mat. Few can match Puma's submission style, and Gunnar -- though valiantly hanging on as long as possible -- proved to be no exception. Puma wins by SUBMISSION via sit down side choke
Cypher -vs- Saboteur -- Some guys are always dependable to put on good main events. Cypher and Saboteur are both like that. This was a great, great match. -- Several minutes saw them feeling each other out, making surgerical strikes without doing any real damage. Then came a sequence of clinches in which Cypher kept trying to take down Saboteur, but never could. -- It eventually became mat jockeying, both men trying to apply submission holds with the action going back and forth. -- As this went on, a stranger strode purposely down the ring ramp and stood at its end, arms followed as he watched the fight. Cypher caught a glimpse of him and momentarily lost his focus. Bad move with Saboteur -- the masked one snapped off a jab and scored a shocking KO! Saboteur wins by KO via quick jab
-- After the fight, Saboteur left and while Cypher groggily got to his knees and shook off the jab, the newcomer climbed into the ring and waited, standing behind the defeated former champ. -- When Cypher got to his feet, the stranger suddenly jacked him with a punch to the back of the head! The crowd started chanting for Cypher, furthering the alien's improbable rise in popularity. -- The newcomer stood over Cypher's fallen form and raised a fist in the air. He kicked him several times, until security circled the ring. -- As the smug assailant left the ring, Dynamo ran up to him for an interview. Ignoring the questions, the man simply stated, "You can call me Conundrum. I'm here for one reason -- to destroy Cypher. I'll rob him of his dignity, of his success....everything that makes him Cypher. In the end, he will be a useless shell left with absolutely NOTHING. After what he did to me, that'll still be generous!"

Really good fight card here!
I love how you introduced Conundrum & how he took advantage of the situation to "rob him of his dignity."
Looking forward to the next card! Keep it up bro!

I agree about Conundrum's intro, and I'm also surprised that Indigo dominated.

POW WrestleFest! - Wrestling Returns to the POW Almach Armoury
Quetzal -vs- Brainstorm -- As always, the self-proclaimed genius sauntered down with that "I'm vastly more intelligent than anyone else in the building" look. Quetzal, with his new look and new singles focus, received a tremendous pop as he ran down with manager Gila. -- POW's first wrestling match of the year didn't disappoint. These two talented cruiserweights put on a fine show, going back and forth, counter for counter. -- Brainstorm took control near the end and smugly thought he had the victory in hand, when Quetzal locked in his tarantula and forced the tapout! Quetzal wins by submission via tarantula
-- Brainstorm threw an absolute fit afterwards, having suffered another loss. He berated the referee and insisted it wasn't a tapout, that instead he was trying to push himself out of the move.
Macro -vs- Crucible -- Macro, "his" shape resembling that of a jester, came down with an actual one (the Mad Jester) laughing and giggling the whole while. -- Crucible strode down with, of all people, Franco! -- This one was all Macro. Crucible appeared up to his usual tricks at one point, but Macro kept laughing and having a good time and seemed unphased by the powers of persuasion. Macro wins by pinfall after Whee!
-- After the match, Mad Jester paraded about taunting Franco, much to the delight of the crowd (to say nothing of Macro).
Euritar -vs- Konari -- Konari hasn't been around long, but he is already impressing. This was an outstanding match! -- Ominously, midway through the match, Onami and Ahnu came out and hovered about ringside. To his credit, Konari didn't seem phased at all. He kept on taking everything Euritar had to offer. -- In the end, Konari flubbed a turnbuckle charge, to which Euritar launched himself off the top rope and got a sensational pinfall. Euritar wins by pinfall after deathjump
-- Euritar left the ring victorious....and Onami and Wrestling Cruiserweight Champion Ahnu leapt in and started circling the downed Konari! As he headed back up the ring ramp, Euritar paused, looked back....and then grabbed a chair and dove back into the ring. He waved it menacingly at the Jardiil, who shook their heads, made threatening gestures at the high-flyer, then left reluctantly. -- Euritar tossed down the chair, gave the recovering Konari a nod, and then left....wisely through the crowd instead of where the Jardiil went.
Onami -vs- Scion Nexus -- Pre-match, Onami was stopped by Dynamo. "Konari is on borrowed time. We know why he's here, and he's made a fatal error! Euritar was stupid to interfere in Jardiil affairs! Next time, Konari won't be so lucky!" -- In a decent, though short match, Onami looked sharp and beat the always-competitive Nexus. Onami wins by pinfall after FEAR STRIKE
Thayne -vs- Matinee Idol -- Thayne had comments of his own before his match. "Look, I don't what Konari's deal is, but it's going to take more than prophetic words and cryptic crap to convince me. Onami and Ahnu may be after him, but I'm still not sure...." -- Matinee Idol came out to his usual pomp, waving and mugging for cameras. Franco kept barking things into his ear as they strode down. -- Thayne went right after him at the bell, thumping the actor-turned-wrestler down early. It almost resembled an MMA fight, with Thayne kicking and punching at him. -- This match didn't go very long though....because the Jardiil made another appearance. Onami and Ahnu rushed down, and this time went right into the ring. They mobbed Thayne, taking him down quickly. -- Onami grabbed Thayne by the arms, while Ahnu went and retrieved the same chair that Euritar had used. -- Before he could get far with it, Konari tore down the ring ramp, climbed the nearest post, and did a cross-body block that took both Jardiil extremists down! The crowd went berserk cheering for the monk. -- Thayne recovered and a wild brawl erupted. The fan favorites got the upper hand and sent Ahnu and Onami on a tactical retreat. Amidst chants of "Ko-nar-i!", Thayne gave it some thought then shook the newcomer's hand. Thayne wins by disqualification after wrestler interference
-- Before the main event, Pendekar was seen heading towards the curtains when he spied Stigma watching from the shadows. "There you are!" he called out. -- Stigma pretended not to hear him, focusing on something else. -- "What has been troubling you?" the Indonesian warrior asked the man with whom he has recently put on some of the greatest MMA fights of the decade. "You've been acting strange. I thought we had come to an accord after our fights? You know, that 'warrior's respect' you talked about? Why have you been avoiding me, and everybody else for that matter?" -- Stigma glared at him, then hissed, "Stay out of my business..." and stormed away.
MAIN EVENT Conundrum -vs- Pendekar -- As Conundrum made his fighting debut, the crowd greeted him with chants of "Cypher! Cypher!" If it bothered him, he pretended not to care. -- Pendekar came out to a nice pop. The match started slowly, methodically. Conundrum looked fluid and sharp, two things Pendekar has made a reputation being. This turned out to be an excellent match. -- Things got interesting when Conundrum locked Pendekar in a headlock, seemed to whisper something, then popped him in the head with his gloved hand....and before he could complete his cover, Cypher rushed down and yanked the referee out of the ring! -- Chaos ensued, with the referee berating Cypher, and Conundrum leaning over the ropes and threatening the man he had assailed at POW ThunderStorm. -- Pendekar recovered and slammed down the newcomer, as the referee returned to action. Amazingly, Conundrum found a way out of the series of submission holds that followed. -- Conundrum was able to lock on another headlock, and repeated the same sequence as before....but this time got the 1-2-3! Conundrum wins by pinfall after LOADED QUESTION
-- Before the ring announcer could even finish proclaiming the results, Cypher rushed back into the ring and speared Conundrum! The chants of his name returned. He started raining down fists viciously. -- He was so caught up in the moment that he didn't realize that Stigma was rushing down. Stigma was carrying some sort of blackjack, which he used on Cypher's head! Down again went the former MMA champ. -- Stigma smashed Cypher repeatedly, as Conundrum recovered. But by then, Pendekar too was back on his feet, and he launched a series of kicks at both men, sending them out of the ring. -- Conundrum called off Stigma, who yelled, "I told you to stay out of my business, Pendekar!" -- Pendekar helped a groggy Cypher to his feet, and the tumultuous WrestleFest ended with them glowering at what appeared to be a dangerous new alliance between the newcomer and the MMA cruiserweight champ!

Really cool way to do the Conundrum-Stigma/Cypher-Pendekar thing. I had the movie going in my head the whole time.
