I was almost sure they'd release him. HHH must really have faith in Sin Cara to see him survive the recent roster cuts. He wasn't exactly tearing it up before his suspension.
I should know when Colt Cabana was selling Sin Cara masks this past weekend at the CHIKARA show. I almost bought one too.
It will be interesting to see if he goes after Sheamus for "injuring" him at MITB even though Sheamus is all but a face now, or if they'll forget about that, chalk it up to simply part of the risks involved in MITB and move on from it.

Well, He could always pull a Triple H and squash him by putting him through the announce table five seconds after he makes his comeback and then never speak of it again...

Never forget the big tour or Mexico in a few weeks.
You may not like him but he's still super huge in Mexico and the WWE loves the smell of money, even if it's off a guy that screwed up!

Sin Cara isn't terrible (and covering up for him by putting him on Smackdown was an obvious and needed move) however, I HATE the lights thing. It is ok for a squash match, but makes no sense when his opponent is on offense. In really distracts from the storytelling and ring work.

The plot thickens -
Wrestling Observer is reporting that the Sin Cara character returns this coming week on SmacKDown, but there's no word as to if it'll be Mistico or someone else under the hood. Meltzer noted that it's not looking good for Mistico.
Kind of shocking considering they just showed him, full body pic and all last night on SD. Maybe it was a whole new guy already and I just didn't notice. Pretty wild. Looking forward to seeing what happens.

I wonder if they replace Mistico by bringing up from FCW either Epico or Huncio who are two Masked Wrestlers...

They're saying they might use Huncio under the mask this coming week on Smackdown as Sin Cara's actual suspension isn't over yet.
I say if you're going to be done with the guy, be done with him. Don't give us a Max Moon situation where you stick another guy under the hood and try to act like it's the same guy.

I agree. If it's not Mistico, then what's the point. The Mexican fans will KNOW it's not Mistico, so you can't tell me it's for their up-coming tour. No, this isn't a good idea if it's not him.

This might be an ok storyline with a heel Sin Cara showing up for a few months, leading to a face (Mistico) vs heel Sin Cara at WrestleMania. Of course, if not done well, it could be a really crappy storyline as well.

If they have Sin Cara vs Sin Cara, Alberto Del Rio should come out during the match and say "Looks like we have Dos Caras here." Then wink at the camera and leave.
