Rob,This is not the point. Whatever you think of the guy, the problem is that they're using Mistico's history and star status to talk up a guy with none of those credentials.
I didn't notice the commentary about all this other stuff. So I don't have anything to say about it right now. Let's see what they say tonight when he fights ADR.
If they have Hunico wrestle tonight and talk about how he worked his way up from local shows in Mexico to the rings of Chikara to Florida Championship Wrestling where he spent several years because "creative had nothing for him", then it's their character and they can do with it what they please.
However, judging from the bio on wwe.com that has never changed and what they have the commentators saying during their shows, they still give the impression that they have Mistico in that role:
from wwe.com:
"One of the most popular and respected performers on the world stage became a welcome addition to WWE, where he debuted on Monday Night Raw the night after WrestleMania XXVII.
Having already forged a strong international following, Sin Cara, known for his high-flying style and awe-inspiring acrobatics, set his sights on reaching new heights of global success with WWE.
A second-generation performer, Sin Cara began in Mexico at the tender age of 15 and has never looked back. With his roots firmly bedded in the art of lucha libre, he exudes charisma, agility and a deep love and loyalty for his Mexican heritage.
Hailing from Mexico City, where passionate fans of all ages turn out regularly to see their favorite performer, Sin Cara is sure to have a huge impact on WWE over the course of his career.

That's not Hunico/Incognito. That's Mistico. If they continue with this switch then they need to change his bio and stop having the announcers talk him up like he is someone he is not. If they just have Del Rio squash Hunico and end the character then it's still better than what they're doing right now.
Tonight will be interesting either way.
