Three Three Three DQ endings! LOL! Your dice dislike you from the looks of it, but those three matches looked wild and that Andre vs. DiBiase Match is a Show Stealer, great stuff...

thanks CC and Kamala.
Frank Gotch (8) v. Ivan Koloff (40) Koloff generates some serious heat as he is introduced to the fans. Gotch had success against a brawler last round and is looking for more the same in this round. However, Gotch struggles from the bell with Koloff’s power. Gotch bails to the floor and when he comes back inside, Koloff is ready with a RUSSIAN BEARHUG (R7/P3) but Gotch is able to get free. Koloff rams Gotch back first into the ring post and the referee lets the action continue. The fans are livid. Koloff with another RUSSIAN BEARHUG (R8/P4) and Gotch punches his way free. Gotch finally gets something going winning a brawl on the floor. The advantage is short lived however as Koloff powers his way back into control and ends it with a backbreaker (R3/P3). Koloff is on his way into the round of 16 with a second upset victory. Up next: Rick Rude v. Bryan Danielson
Rick Rude w/Bobby Heenan (36) v. Bryan Danielson (61) Rude’s pre-match antics draw monster heat. The crowd is solidly behind the American Dragon. Rude’s power sets the pace early on but Danielson surprisingly wins a brawl on the floor and immediately applies a CATTLE MUTILATION but it is too early (R7/P3). Danielson maintains the edge and uses a full nelson suplex (ch) to set up another CATTLE MUTILATION that Rude barely escapes (R6/P4). Danielson moves to a TRIANGLE CHOKE and Rude is able to hook the ropes to survive (R5/P4). Rude finally catches a break and gets something going blocking a backdrop with a piledriver. Danielson is able to turns things back around almost immediately with a Yakuza Kick. Rude bails to the floor to speak with the Brain but Danielson dives through the ropes to both men at ringside. The crowd explodes! Suplex arsenal puts Rude to the mat for a 2 count (R10/P5). It is all Danielson as he unleashes a flurry of moves but cannot get Rude’s shoulders to the mat. Rude stuns Danielson with a cross body block coming off the ropes for a 1 count (R9/P2). Rude appears to have something finally going but Danielson counters a clothesline with one of his own. Rude is able to counter a roundhouse kick and the match goes outside. Both men mix it up at ringside. Heenan gets involved and the referee calls for the disqualification. Danielson gets the upper hand traps Heenan in a triangle choke while the fans eat it up. Danielson moves on. Up next: Bobby Eaton v. Larry Zbyszko

I think Koloff could be one of two ( Rocca ) who really have the best chance to win it all, but Andre the Giant is in their way. Huge offensive showing by Danielson and I could see Heenan locked into Triangle Choke LOL!, fun stuff...

Agreed, taking out Andre will be a challenge. But he has been injured by DiBiase so that make the difference.
Bobby Eaton (45) w/Jim Cornette v. . Larry Zbyszko (52)
Eaton and Zbyszko know each other well having competed in some of the same federations. Cornette made a huge impact in the opening round but is not much help early on as Zbyszko is the clear aggressor from the bell. Zbyszko locks in a Larryland Sleeper and the match is very quickly. (R2/P2). Up next: Don Leo Jonathan v. Bob Roop
Don Leo Jonathan (21) v. Bob Roop (53) Last round, Roop took out Giant Baba in stunning fashion and he faces another of wrestling’s giants in this round. Handshake starts the action and Jonathan sets the pace with his power and size. A giant swing downs Roop with for a 2 count (R7/P3). Jonathan pushes around Roop and impresses the fans with a rolling back splash. Roop survives a MORMON SWING by putting his foot on the ropes (R6/P8). Roop is able to get some offense in and closes the gap. Jonathan counters a backdrop with a nasty looking piledriver and then advances to the next round with a MORMON SWING (R7/P7). Up next, Pepper Gomez v. Tiger Mask

Nice matchups. DLJ can never be underestimated and could go far. Pepper Gomez v Tiger Mask could be a really good one and I never count Gomez out of any battle. But hey, it is Tiger Mask and it would be interesting to see how maybe the greatest light heavyweight of all time stacks up against a field of the greatest heavyweights.

@ Mark T DLJ is looking good so far. Mask and Gomez turned out to be a classic.
@ Kamala Larryland is open and the admission is free!
Pepper Gomez (28) v Tiger Mask (60) Both men are out to a solid pop from the fans. A handshake starts the action off. The fans are expecting a fast paced battle. Both men exchange moves and it is Gomez who takes flight first with a deathjump cross body block for 2 count (R4/P1). The match moves at an incredible pace. Gomez is able to use his power advantage to gain control of the action but Mask is able to catch Gomez on the top of the corner with a dropkick and Gomez crashes to the mat. Gomez reverses a whip to the corner and Mask backdrops Gomez over the ropes to the floor. Mask is out after Gomez but Gomez turns things around and whips Mask to the rails. It is all Gomez now including a Mexican Leap. Mask is able to roll clear of another deathjump smash and Gomez crashes to the mat. Mask hooks the leg for 2 ½ (R5/P3). Mask explodes on offense. A jumping spin kick puts down Gomez. 1, 2, kick out (R5/P4). Rolling senton splashes force Gomez to the floor. Gomez drags Mask to floor and both men attempt to send each other into the ring post and after three reversal, Mask eats the steel. Back in the ring Gomez strikes with a MEXICAN CRADLE for a 1 count (R8/P4). Gomez punishes Mask with a pair of deathjump smashes and Mexican Leap. Cover. 1, 2, kick out (R8/P5). Gomez hits another Mexican Leap and Mask rolls to the floor. Gomez comes outside but Mask blocks a double hammer off the apron and regains the upper hand rolling Gomez back into the ring. TIGER SUPLEX. 1, 2, 3 (R4,P8). Up Next: Lou Thesz v. Rikidozan
Lou Thesz (2) v. Rikidozan (31) These two had several classic battles in Japan in the past. The action is intense from the opening bell. The match spills to ringside and both men risk disqualification with a wild brawl on the floor. Rikidozan chops his way out of that altercation and puts Thesz to the mat with a HIPLOCK for a 1 count (R6/P1). THUNDEROUS CHOPS downs Thesz again. 1, 2, ¾ (R5/P4). Deathjump smash sets up a HIPLOCK for a 2 count (R7/P3). The fans can feel an upset coming and are on their feet. Rikidozan takes the battle back to the floor and slams Thesz onto the concrete leading to a near count out. Thesz crawls back into the ring and Rikidozan is ready with THUNDEROUS CHOPS for stunning win (R7/P7). The number two seed fails to advance to the round of 16. Up next: Harley Race v. Antonino Rocca
