Thanks for the feedback CC and Kamala
Antonino Rocca (15) v. Harley Race (18) Rocca is one of the most popular competitors in history and the fans are on their feet as he makes his way to the ring. Race is all business during the introductions. Race is the early aggressor with a running slingshot in the corner and then traps Rocca in the ropes. Race hammers away on his trapped opponent and the referee steps in but shoves the official to the mat and is promptly disqualified. Rocca is through to the next round. The Destroyer v. Bob Orton Sr.
The Destroyer (23) v. Bob Orton Sr. (55) Two old school pros meet in the next match. Both men receive a mixed reaction from ringside but start with a respective handshake. Destroyer is able to use his slight agility advantage to gain the upper hand early but Orton brawls his way back at ringside and puts Destroyer down for a 1 count with a vertical suplex (R10/P2). Orton goes to work with neckbreakers and scoop slams. A step over toe hold forces Destroyer to grab the ropes (R6/P3). Orton tries to end it with a PILEDRIVER but only gets 2 (R8/P6). A vertical suplex gets Orton a 2 count (R8/P5) and Orton will not be denied and ends it with a second PILEDRIVER (R3/P8). Up next: Bobo Brazil v. Al Costelo

Bobo Brazil (7) v. Al Costello (39) w/ “Wild” Red Berry Brazil has consistently been a fan favorite everywhere that he has competed and tonight is no different. Berry interferes from the outset giving Costello the early edge. Costello downs Brazil with a Greek Cross and then moves to a MARBLE BOR LEGLOCK but Brazil is able to grab the ropes (R5/P1). Costello goes right back to the hold again but Brazil is able to roll Costello over to escape (R7/P2). Costello comes off the top of the buckles with a deathjump clothesline and the fans are restless for Brazil to get going. He responds by catching Costello mounting the corner again and tossing the Australian the mat. Brazil tosses Costello to the floor and follows him out. The fans are on their feet as Brazil and Costello exchange blows on the floor. Berry gets involved again cracking Brazil with his cane and Costello is disqualified. The fans may not like the inconclusive finish but Brazil sends them home happy taking out both Costello and Berry with COCO BUTTS. Up Next: Mil Mascaras v. Masked Superstar
Mil Mascaras (3) v. Masked Superstar (35) An interesting match up between two of wrestling most famous masked competitors was featured next. Mascaras is greeted warmly by the fans as he makes his way to the ring. Superstar refuses Mascaras’ handshake at the bell and the fans quickly turn on him. Both men counter to perfection from the outset. Mascaras is the first to string together some offense and tries a submission with a standing surfboard without success (R8/P3). The action returns to a stalemate of counters and then Superstar is able to get something going including back to back sleepers that cause some damage but are not enough to put Mascaras away (R7/P1). Superstar takes the match to the floor and bodyslams Mascaras onto the concrete. The match returns to the floor again and this time Mascaras reverses a whip into the steel ringpost. Mascaras hits a FLYING BODYPRESS for a 1 count (R11/P5). The action slows down again with both men trading holds. Mascaras ties up Superstar in an octopus hold and Superstar goes to the floor. Mascaras comes out after him and runs Superstar into the steel rails by the fans. The bell sounds and Mascaras has been disqualified. The number two and number three seeds are both out in the second round! Up Next: Hawk v. Mad Dog Vachon.

Thanks CC.
Hawk (14) w/Paul Ellering v. Mad Dog Vachon (46) The fans were braced for impact as two of the best brawlers and toughest men in the business made their way to the ring. As expected the action spills in and out of the ring with plenty of brawling. The referee could only take so much and it was Hawk who earned a disqualification when he battering rammed Vachon into the ring post. Up Next: Terry Gordy v. Sabu
Terry Gordy (11) v. Sabu w/Bill Alfonso (43) An interesting contrast in styles was featured in the next bout with Bill Alfonso creating chaos at ringside. Alfonso is all over Gary Michael Cappetta and it looks like Sabu may take the announcer out but Gordy arrives in time to save Cappetta. Sabu battles back as the bell sounds and takes control. A hurricarana sends Gordy to the mat and he bails to ringside. Gordy drags Sabu to the floor and runs him into the ring post and is disqualified. The ninth disqualification finish of the second round sends Sabu to the final 16. Up next: Buddy Rogers v. Iron Sheik
Buddy Rogers (6) v. Iron Sheik (27) Sheik is on the mic before the bell and tells the fans what he thinks of America and The Nature Boy is suddenly the most popular man in the building. Rogers opens with a strut and slap to the Sheik’s face and the fans explode. The action is closely contested from the opening bell. Sheik loads up his boot and Rogers goes down for a 1 count (R9/P2). Rogers is busted open but catches Sheik climbing the corner and tosses him to the mat. Rogers goes for the pin using the ropes for leverage but Sheik kicks out (R5/P2). Sheik turns things around outside catching Rogers with a boot to the midsection. Sheik takes the fight back inside and catches Rogers in a CAMEL CLUTCH but Rogers is able to get a shoulder out (R9/P5). Sheik goes back to the hold again and once again Rogers gets free (R9/P6). Sheik drags Rogers out to the middle of the ring and applies another CAMEL CLUTCH and a bloody Rogers passes out (R2/P7).

It's hard to tell who will win at this point. There have been a lot of upsets and I don't expect anything to change. I think Iron Sheik has a real outside chance of winning it all.

Thanks for the feedback CC, Kamala and Mark T. It is hard to predict a winner at this point with all the upsets so far. Lets see what happens this round.
Andre the Giant (1) v. Killer Kowalski (17) These two sold out arenas in Quebec and Northern Ontario back in the day and now open the round of 16. Andre comes to the ring with his leg heavily bandaged to protect his injury suffered last round. Kowalski is quickly overpowered by his much larger opponent and bails to the floor after a turnbuckles squash. Kowalski drags Andre to the floor and it is bedlam at ringside. Andre refuses to stop choking Kowalski at ringside and the referee calls for the disqualification. Andre is out! Up next: Ivan Koloff v. Ox Baker
Ivan Koloff (40) v. Ox Baker (55) Two of wildest competitors and best brawlers in wrestling clashed next. Despite being known as brawlers both men actually exchange hip tosses early on. This quickly becomes a battle of brawling and power moves. Koloff is able to gain control at ringside and then mounts the corner for a pair of top rope knee drops. A back breaker sets up a RUSSIAN BEARHUG but Baker punches free (R9/P6). Baker survives a falling face slam and then sends Koloff into the ring rails to take control. A bloody Kolkoff kicks out of a deathjump cross body block that looks ugly but gets a 2 count (R6/P3). The action goes back and forth. There is a great spot where Kolkoff backdrops Baker over the corner but Baker is able to win the following brawl on the floor. The match returns to the ring and Baker unleashes the HEART PUNCH for the win (R6/P7). Up Next: Larry Zbyszko v. Bryan Danielson.

Bill, if you get tired of all the DQ finishes you could roll twice for DQs. I do this in my fed and if I roll within range the first time I roll again, but add one to the DQ rating just for that instance.
Anyway, good luck and am going with a Kowalski-Brazil final.
