The DQ's continue with the Biggest Loss in the Tournament when Andre was sent packing, Gotta Love the DQ's in this Tournament. I honestly think the randomness of how many DQ's have made this a Great Tournament, but I'm 0-2 so far on my picks so I'm going with ANTONINO ROCCA to win it all...

Humanoids4eva DQs can be frustrating but in a single elemination tournament that is the way it goes. @ CC Rocca is a strong pick Larry Zbyszko (52) v. Bryan Danielson (61) The fans are solidly behind The American Dragon but Zbyszko has been very impressive in his first two matches. Danielson and Zbyszko trade counters and then Danielson explodes on offensive including a series of Yakuza Kicks and a dive onto the floor. Another Yakuza Kick puts The Living Legend down for a 1 count (R7/P3). Zbyszko is able to get back on track and the action evens out. Danielson goes into the corner hard but counters a charge and backdrops Zbyszko to the floor. Danielson comes out after his opponent and Zbyszko nails him with a foreign object. The referee sees the infraction and calls for the disqualification. Danielson advances to the round of 8. Up Next: Don Leo Jonathan v. Tiger Mask Don Leo Jonathan (21) v. Tiger Mask (60) Talk about your size mismatch. Absolutely no one gave Mask a chance in this one but Mask is able to use his speed early on and his feet attacking with a series of lightning fast kicks and a jumping spin kick that puts Jonathan on the mat for a 2 count (R5/P2). Jonathan is finally able to get his hands on Mask and catches him with a running slingshot in the corner which sets up the MORMON SWING for the win (R4/P5). Mask shakes Jonathan’s hand after the match and the fans give both men a solid ovation. Up Next: Antonino Rocca v. Rikidozan

Bryan Danielson & DLJ advance and knowing Tiger Mask is ranked 60, I call it a good upset win for Don Leo. I'm looking forward to see how the Antonino Rocca & Rikifozan match turns out, it should be a Classic...

Thanks for the feedback CC and Kamala
Antonino Rocca (15) v .Rikidozan (31) This one has the potential to be a classic. Rocca is out to a huge ovation from ringside and the bare footed superstar takes several minutes to greet his fans at ringside. Rocca uses his speed early on and then takes the action to the mat with crushing body scissors. Rikidozan counters with a series of strikes and head butts. There is a solid spot early on where Rikidozan and Rocca criss cross the ring four times before Rikidozan counters a backdrop with a boot to the face. A scoop slam sets up THUNDEROUS CHOPS for a 1 count (R7/P3). Rocca counters Rikidozan’s attack on the floor and takes the fight back into the ring. Rikidozan escapes an ARGENTINIAN BACKBREAKER (R11/P3) but maintains control with a series of bow and arrows. Rikidozan bails to the floor but Rocca leaps from the buckles onto Rikidozan at ringside the fans explode. Rikidozan beats the ten count back in and somehow takes control of the action with a snap mare and scoop slam. Rikidozan mounts the corner for a deathjump but Rocca dropkicks Rikidozan’s legs out from under him and the Japanese legend crashes to the mat. It is back and forth now. At one point, Rocca uses a flying head scissors to spill Rikidozan to ringside. Referee bump off a Rikidozan deathjump. Rikidozan works over Rocca at ringside drawing great heat and Rocca is busted open off a chair shot. Rikidozan with a HIPLOCK but the referee is still down. Rikidozan hits a deathjump and follows with another HIPLOCK but there is still no referee. A new official finally arrives (6 moves) and the action continues. Rocca counters a shoulder tackle but then telegraphs a backdrop which Rikidozan turns into a piledriver. THUNDEROUS CHOPS. 1, 2, kick out (R9/P7). The crowd is on fire. Rikidozan cracks Rocca across the back with a chair shot at ringside and the fans are all over him. Back inside, Rikidozan hits a deathjump cross body block and gets the three count (R5/P6). Up next: Bobo Brazil v. Bob Orton Sr.
Bobo Brazil (7) v. Bob Orton Sr. (55) Monster ovation for Brazil as he comes to ringside. Orton looks impressive early with a mix of brawling and science. Brazil wears the crimson mask off the ringside rails. A PILEDRIVER gives Orton a 1 count (R11/P3). Orton is in total control including a deathjump smash and then tosses Brazil to the floor. Orton runs Brazil into the ringside rails a second time and this time the referee calls for the disqualification. Orton is not pleased but is out of the tournament regardless. Up Next: Masked Superstar v. Mad Dog Vachon

Masked Superstar (35) v. Mad Dog Vachon (46) Both men are disliked by the fans and are greeted with a mixed reaction. Superstar controls the action early on with a series of snap mares mixed with a sleeper and a pair of Superstar Clothesline. Vachon makes a comeback and picks up a 1 count with a Mad Dog Pounce (R11/P3). Superstar is back in control with a headlock takeover. A spinning neckbreaker (ch) gives Superstar a 1 count (R8/P3). Superstar immediately applies a COBRA HOLD and Vachon gets free (R7/P4). Vachon comes back and whips Superstar into the corner but Superstar counters a charge with an elbow to the face which sets up a SPINNING NECKBREAKER for a 2 ½ count (R6/P5). Superstar traps Vachon in a CORBA HOLD but Vachon is able to get his foot to the ropes to keep the match going (R7/P6). Superstar is in total control for the next several minutes. A sleeper hold forces Vachon to the floor and Superstar comes outside to end it but Vachon wins the brawl on the floor. Vachon is able to string together some offense including a Mad Dog Pounce and a bite to the head but Superstar is soon back on top. Back to back Superstar Clotheslines rocks Vachon and a CORBA HOLD ends it (R4/P7). Up Next: Iron Sheik v. Sabu
Iron Sheik (27) v. Sabu w/Bill Alfonso (43) Sheik is on the mic before bell and draws huge heat. Sabu has the fans behind him in the battle of the Camel Clutches. Sheik starts strong with power moves including an abdominal stretch and choke on the ropes. Sheik sends Sabu into the ropes and Sabu rebound off the ropes with a clothesline causing both men to collide in the middle of the ring. Sheik is up first and traps Sabu in a CAMEL CLUTCH but Sabu’s leg is under the ropes (R6/P5). Sheik loads up his boot and Sabu is quickly a bloody mess. Referee bump off the Sheik’s deathjump! Sheik dominates the action and once again applies a CAMEL CLUTCH but there is no referee. The referee finally recovers (8 moves) and the action continues. Sheik uses his loaded boot to batter more blood from Sabu before sending him to the ropes. Sabu rebounds with a perfect cross body block. 1, 2, kick out (R4/P2). Sabu hits a couple of Air Sabu much to the pleasure of the fans. Sheik is able to overpower Sabu and the action goes to the floor. Sabu sends Sheik into the ring post and now both men are spilling blood onto the mat. Sabu unleashes a pair of slingshot legdrops and a hurricanrana gets a 1 count (R9/P3). TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT misses! Sheik with a vertical suplex. 1, 2, 3 (R7/P7). Up next: The Round of 8!
