Vegas Holding them to Field Goals instead of TDs was huge today. I'm still worried about the Defense also however.

I did not get to see last night's game as I was flying home from Indianapolis to Las Vegas at the time but I saw on ESPN that Russel Wilson led an incredible 94-yard drive with 2 minutes to go to throw the winning touchdown to DK Metcalf on 4th down with 15 seconds left in the game to win 27-26 .
As a result, for their first time ever, the Seahawks are 5-0!
The Seahawks now enter their bye week (they need it to get guys like Adams healthy) and ten play two important divisional games (at Arizona and then host the 49ers.)

I was really glad to see the Seahawks resign Mychal Kendricks today as the defense (which will soon add Snacks Harrison and a returning Jamal Adams) definitely needs the help.
It sounds like the Seahawks (who already resigned Josh Brown and are currently waiting for the NFL to reinstate him) are going to be making a push for Antonio Brown once he gets reinstated by the NFL:
Seahawks 'tuned in' to possibly signing Antonio Brown With Antonio Brown's reinstatement date fast approaching, Pete Carroll said the Seahawks are "tuned in" to a possible signing of Brown. Carroll's comments came shortly after a report said Seattle is "positioned to make a push to sign" Brown.

If AB can take football serious again he'd be a nice addition but I think it would be best to pass. ESPN on NFL Live were talking about how their head coach has worked with troubled players before and they have a future HOF QB. All I could think is been there done that with New England. But maybe this time will be different.

But maybe this time will be different. DJ Metcalf is becoming a star this year and I am not sure how Antonio Brown would be on a team if he is not the lead option at wide receiver. The Seahawks have greater needs on defense than at WR. I am excited that my Seahawks are 5-0 and Russel Wilson is clearly one of the best QBs in the entire NFL. However, their defense gives up too many points and they have not really played a decent team yet- and only won by last-second stops against both New England and Minnesota. The next 5 games will be telling against the Cardinals (twice,) 49ers, Rams, and Bills. I think some of those games will be high scoring shootouts and be difficult to win, but I also think with Russel Wilson you always have a chance to win.

Yea I think your guys dodged a bullet. I'm disappointed Tampa signed him but I guess it's what Tom wanted.

I have been listening to local 49ers fans brag for the past 10 months how they beat the Seahawks by 1 yard in the final game of the 2019 season to win the division. So thankfully the Seahawks defeated the 49ers today 37-27 and, because the Packers lost to the Vikings, regained 1st place in the NFC. Plus with the Rams losing and the Raiders winning, almost everything went right for me as a fan today in the NFL.
The defense is still a major concern as I believe the only other victorious team today who gave up more points was the Broncos in their last-second victory over the Chargers. But with Jamal Adams, Shaquill Griffin, Chase Dunbar, Mychal Kendricks, and Snacks Harrison all set to return or debut probably next week, it is hard to see the Seahawks defense not getting at least a little better and they will need to be better because they play the Buffalo Bills next week.

So glad to see the Seahawks win tonight after dropping 3 of their past 4. For once, the defense actually did not give up over 30 points and it was great seeing Carlos Dunlap make that walk-off sack to end the game.
Seahawks for now are back in 1st place in the NFC West at 7-3. Their next 4 games are against Philadelphia, the Giants, the Jets (a big game for Jamal Adams,) and Washington so hopefully they will win at least a majority of those games.
I am surprised Arizona did not throw the ball to Hopkins more tonight especially with the Seahawks' top 2 cornerbacks both out with injuries.

What a game by DK Metcalf tonight!
Metcalf overcame multiple penalties the Eagles- who passed on him in the 2019 NFL Draft when they chose another wide receiver 7 spots before him- had against him (including a blatant late hit) on the opening drive to set a career-high with 177 yards and he now leads the NFL in receiving yardage with over 1,000 in just 11 games.
And the Seahawks defense once again played good (that desperation heave by the Eagles into the endzone for a touchdown that ricocheted off another Eagle with 12 seconds left made the score look much closer than the game actually was.)
Seahawks are now 8-3 and in sole possession of first place in the NFC West after losses this past weekend by both the Cardinals and the Rams.
