Your Seahawks can go pound sand! I had $50 on the spread (-6.5) and was looking at a return of about $100. Then you guys just let the Eagles waltz right into the endzone for that meaningless 2-point conversion! Ugh, what a bad beat! Glad I couldn't watch the game. I might not have slept last night.
Pederson had to have had some money on the Philly spread. That's the only way to explain it. It's a conspiracy!!! LOL.

Well I must say I'm very happy my team beat the Seahawks who are always tough. Go Giants.

horrible loss today to the Giants,
No excuses, the Giants were the better team today. But if Seattle had just managed to recover that blocked punt in the endzone without being partially out of bounds that 2 point safety becomes a 7 point touchdown and that 5 point difference was the exact point differential in the Giants 17-12 win.
Hopefully we do not lose to the Jets next weekend.

I said earlier today as the game was going on that Seattle picked a weird time of the season to decide to tank to improve their draft position. I picked up their D and played them this week. For the first half it looked like a great pick. But do to their O having issues it ended up only decent. Their D playing good as their O starts to fade sounds like something the Lions would do. Hopefully they figure it out and bounce back next week.

Yup, your Seahawks job me out again! I put 16 confidence points on them (the max amount) in my NFL pool, and THEY BLEW IT. They also killed a parlay bet for me. Grrrrrrrrrrr.

Congrats to Jamal Adams today for setting an NFL record- against his former team the Jets- for the most sacks by a defensive back as he now has 8.5 sacks for this season- despite missing 4 games with a groin injury.
I was excited when the Seahawks traded for Jamal Adams even though it cost them 2 1st round picks. For whatever reason the Seahawks are not very good at drafting in the 1st round so why not trade 2 (probably both late) 1st round picks which they have a bad history of using for perhaps the best safety in football who is still in his mid 20s?
I think for Christmas I am going to get a Jamal Adams shirt.

It was not without some drama, but the Seahawks clinched a playoff spot again today by defeating Washington 20-15.
I saw what Washington's defensive line did last week to the 49ers so I was a little concerned about them but the Seahawks offensive line played great and held that Washington defensive line- which includes Chase Young and Montez Sweat- without a sack today.
And Josh Gordon returns to the Seahawks tomorrow.
I am going to assume the Rams will defeat the Jets this afternoon (although as I am typing this the Jets just scored on their opening drive- their NFL leading 8th straight game in which they have scored on their opening drive.) Next week's Seahawks-Rams game will be an extremely important game.

I stand corrected on my assumption that the Rams would defeat the Jets (although I am probably not the only one who made that assumption.) I thought the Seahawks losing 2 weeks ago to the Giants was bad, but the Rams must be monumentally embarrassed. But I am so glad to be wrong as the Jets victory puts the Seahawks back in 1st place in the NFC West. If the Seahawks defeat the Rams in Seattle this weekend, the Seahawks clinch the division.
