Seahawks tapped the Michigan Wolverines for a pair of players on day three. I think those will feel like steals a few years down the road.

Good luck this weekend Vegas I hope your Seahawks win their season opener. I just hope they lose in week 2 based on how awful the Seahawks looked today and the number of players they lost to injury, it looks like your hope might get fulfilled next week, damn that was an ugly game today

Especially in the running game. I hope everyone gets healthy and rolling...staring in week 3.

I was surprised to see the Seahawks defeat the Lions today. Although I am glad the Seahawks won, I think this victory had alot to do with major Detroit errors:
- the flag for throwing Kenneth Walker to the ground after he got up after being tackled to end the play after he was tackled for a major loss on First and Goal. The Lions then committed another penalty to give the Seahawks a 3rd new First and Goal and you can not keep giving teams First and Goal on the same drive before eventually giving up a touchdown.
- the fumble by the Lions in the Red Zone to set up another Seahawks touchdown
- Jared Goff, who was less than 20 completions away from setting an NFL record for most completions without an interception, throws a Pick 6 to Tre Brown (who was horrible last week against the Rams.) Ironically, last season Tom Brady was only 3 completions away from setting that NFL record until he had an interception against the Seahawks.
Even the final play where Tyler Lockett scored that touchdown in Overtime was controversial as Detroit says the referees missed a hold on the Seahawks.
I will take the victory but I am not going to be arrogant about it and beat my chest as I still have some concerns about the Seahawks.

Seahawks won today but it was against a bad opponent and they suffered more injuries in the process. Thankfully though it looks like some of their injured players will be returning next week at the Giants and then it will be time for their currently much-needed bye week.

I was happy to see my Seagawks defeat the Giants 24-3 on Monday Night Football tonight to improve to 3-1.
11 sacks? damn!
Devon Witherspoon, the #5 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, had 2 of those sacks along with a 97-yard Pick 6.
Next week is a much needed bye week as the injury bug hit again as Jamal Adams, playing in his first game in over a year, left with a concussion after making 2 tackles (including 1 awesome tackle.) Thankfully, Geno Smith was able to return after hurting his knee.
