I knew Devon would be good but not this good this fast. He is one guy I wanted the Lions to go after but he didn't drop to us.

My early initial reaction to Pete Carroll being out as head coach is I really do not like it, especially if it was not his decision and I suspect it was not as he said multiple times since the season ended on Sunday that he expected to return as coach.
If this decision was because the Seahawks did not make the playoffs this year then it was a BAD decision as the Seahawks ONLY lost to teams with winning records this year (so no bad losses) and the ONLY non-playoff team to defeat them all year was Cincinnati (who also finished 9-7 and went to the AFC Championship this year) as our other losses came to Baltimore, San Francisco twice, the Rams twice, Steelers, and Dallas in Dallas where they are undefeated this year. At the same time we did defeat several playoff teams this year such as the Lions, Eagles, and Browns. There was no reason to make a coaching change as we did not make the playoffs due to our schedule and lack of run defense (more of a personnel issue.)
But with now a need for a new head coach for the first time in 15 years, I think the Seahawks will target Dallas Defensive Coordinator Dan Quinn after the Cowboys season is over. Quinn was the Defensive Coordinator for the Seahawks the year they won the Super Bowl and he has proven successful experience as a head coach as he led Atlanta to the Super Bowl after leaving the Seahawks. I think Dan Quinn will be the next Seahawks head coach.

Won't next year be the 3rd staright year the Seahawks have played in Detroit? No. Third year in a row but only second in Detroit. We played you guys in Seattle in 2021. Each time we've come closer and closer to beating you guys.

OK, I knew this upcoming schedule would at least be the 3rd straight year for Seattle vs Detroit and at least the 2nd straight year of the game being in Detroit. Soeaking of Detroit, Rams vs Detroit is the playoff game I want to see the most this weekend but that game is unfortunately happening while I will be at TNA's Hard to Kill.

Interesting Seattle has a home game against the Giants and will travel to NJ to play the Jets.

Yea I hate when things are going up against each other. Especially for me when the day before or after is usually wide open.

That is the two years in a row. They played in Seattle in 2021. That was at the end of the season when we got blown out 51-29. When we play in Detroit this season it will be the third year in Detroit and the fourth year in a row total. EDIT: I am dense. I thought you meant that we played 3 years in Detroit this year. You are correct that next year will be 3rd year in Detroit and 4th year in a row. You said next year and for some damn reason I read it as this year. D'oh.

per the Seattle Times, the list of names confirmed for a second round of interviews for the open head coaching position:
Dallas defensive coordinator Dan Quinn
Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham
Carolina defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero
Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris
Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka.
The aticle said “there likely will be others, too"
perhaps Vrabel?
perhaps Houston offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik who just interviewed with the Seahawks today since the Texans were in the playoffs until yesterday?
perhaps Detroit offensive coordinator Ben Johnson who just interviewed with the Seahawks on Saturday but is not eligible for another interivew yet since the Lions are still alive? It seems like he might be going to Washington though.
