Should be a cool edition to the game. The Blue Meanie is starting to sweat he is going to be left out of another set!!

Now, I have to admit that when I first saw the latest name, my initial thought was "What?" followed by the "Thunk!" sound. And, like some others, I'm not particularly overwhelmed by this set (although I have placed my order for it). However, before I incite the wrath of other posters, let me also agree with others that learning about wrestlers and incorporating them into your fed(s) is part of the fun. For example, I was relatively unexcited about Legends Vintage when it came out, with perhaps Severn being the wrestler I was most interested in. As it turned out, Rikidozan had a huge role in my BCW fed, and Yukon Eric is still a solid contributor. The same was true with Legends International, as the New Age Outlaws have had a solid run, and Liger and Humperdink also have made their marks. I also realized while looking back at the list of sets that I've only debuted RVD from the 8th set in my (apparently slow-moving) BCW fed, and no one from the ninth or 10th sets yet. It'll happen ... eventually ... And in my own little predicting mind, I'm thinking tag team for the final two spots of this set. Course, I've been wrong before ...

I don't have a whole lot new to add to this topic, but I tend to agree with Mr. Dalton's assessment. Shane's one of those great "what-if's" in wrestling history. In a different time for wrestling, Shane's star was really on the rise.
If you read "Wrestling At The Chase" by Matysik, you'll get a real sense of how big a star Shane was becoming. He's a "legend" in every sense of the word.

I agree with both Stu & TDalton and I like to add that wrestlers like Bobby Shane who are pretty unknown to many are gems to this game and after looking back at the time I used the Bobby Shane bootleg, Bobby Shane is a top card I'll be using sooner then later...

Question: Is the Blassie card as a wrestler only, or does he have a distractor rating if he should manage, say, Shieky Baby & Nik?

With just 2 spots left I still believe we will get a tag team.

Just a thought, the King of Wrestling Bobby Shane could enlist the services of the Queen of Wrestling Sara Del Rey.
