Yeah I was thinking the Flair crash was a different one. Buddy Colt, Austin Idol and Gary Hart were on the flight with Shane.

Yeah, there were two plane crashes in 1975, hence my confusion at first.

I have heard the name but really am not familiar with him. I do enjoy getting guys like this though. It forces me to learn all about them.
I am very excited about this set though. There are some really great names with alot of variety.

I like this addition because I used a bootleg version for him many years back and I did some research on him back then. I can't recall who I paired him up with when I used him, but Bobby Shane will have a spot in my Legendsverse for sure...

Bobby Shane has a definite place in wrestling history. Certainly he was on his way to legendary status before his life was cut tragically short (I believe he was just under 30), and he's the guy who gave Jerry Lawler the title (and crown) of "King". The name does not hold the cache of the modern era stars, but he's certainly an interesting character that adds another dimension to the game. While it's unlikely that we'll get Lawler any time soon, that sounds like an immediate feud with Eddie Gilbert to me...

This man had many accomplishments and seemed like he was destined to be a star be passing away at a young age. Im interested in finding out more about him and it looks like he'll be a good addition to Legends.

Larry Matysik's Wrestling at the Chase book has a few pages about Bobby Shane. I think I'm going to enjoy using him.
