Two more great cards Stu!
A great intro to Iron Hand...I can see him continuing the two brands but unifying the titles. I may be wrong, but I get the feeling that is what he is going to do.
Keep up the great action!!

(SCENE: Iron Hand standing triumphantly in the center of the ring, basking in the glory of being appointed Commissioner of the GWF. He now addresses the crowd to let them know his platform of “reform”).
“Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and please allow me to introduce myself. My name is…well, you can just call me Iron Hand. Commissioner Iron Hand to be exact.
Omega and the Board of Directors of the GWF have seen fit to appoint me as Commissioner of this historic wrestling federation, with an eye towards taking this federation to the absolute top of the mountain. I fully intend to do that very thing, and rest assured, I do have a vision for the GWF, a vision that is mine, and mine alone. As of today, I am declaring Martial Law in the GWF. I am the authority in this league now, and my word is law.
And if you don’t like it… (raises large gloved fist)…talk to the hand!
Let me lay out to you, our dear fans, my reform agenda for the GWF, the platform if you will that will allow this federation to spring to the top of the heap among wrestling leagues in not only this country, but throughout the entire world.
As you all know, we have purchased the WWA. Let me state that clearly: The GWF purchased the WWA. Not the other way around. The WWA lost in this battle for supremacy. So, the first order of business is to unify the World Heavyweight and World Tag-Team Championships, and end this nonsense of 2 World Champions.
(Cheers from the audience)
Why, you ask, am I doing this? Simply put, a wrestling federation needs a clear standard bearer at the top. One individual, or in the case of the Tag-Team Titles, one team, that is clearly the best in the world, and represents to the world the best the GWF has to offer. Having 2 World Champions only continues the argument of which wrestling federation was truly better…the WWA or the GWF. That argument was settled the day the ink dried on the contract outlining the purchase…or should I say, surrender…of the WWA by the GWF.
There can be only one true champion, and one true World Tag-Team Champion. Just like there can be only one true greatest wrestling federation in the world…the GWF.
In a manner of a couple weeks, this will come to pass, at a SuperCard that will be called “Unified”. The GWF World Championship and World Heavyweight Championship will be unified into the GWF World Heavyweight Championship. And likewise, the GWF World Tag-Team Championship and World Tag-Team Championship will be unified into the GWF World Tag-Team Championship.
And if you don’t like it…talk to the hand!
As for the other titles of this great federation, they will be as follows.
We will continue to sanction two secondary singles titles. First, the Heritage Heavyweight Championship will be open to all challengers who were originally born right here on Earth.
And, the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship will be open to any and all challengers who were originally born on one of Earth’s colonies.
Both championships will be of equal status, and will be seen as stepping stones to the GWF World Heavyweight Championship.
Finally…and this I am perhaps most excited to announce…I hereby decree that we will no longer contract a set roster for this federation. We will instead open our doors to any and all wrestlers who wish to compete in New York…the true capital of the wrestling world. Win, and we’ll invite you back. Win big, and you will get title shots. Lose, and we’ll kindly show you the door.
New York will become, like St. Louis of decades ago, the Mecca for wrestlers to visit, hosting its cards from its new home, The Felt Forum. It will be seen as the shining city on the hill for all wrestlers, a place where they can truly prove their mettle. And, if they win in New York, a place where they will cement their legacy as an all-time great.
This…is my platform. This is my vision. The sport of kings will be returned to that status…a sport.
And if you don’t like it…talk to the hand!

GWF ? (#1232)September 12, 2008 Manhattan Center, NY Hi folks. Well, our new Commissioner Iron Hand has certainly thrown us in a lurch at the moment, so we don’t know exactly what to call our show at the present time! Suffice to say, its still the Global Wrestling Federation coming to you live, from New York, NY, and that’s all we know for now! Now, on with the card. THE FIRST MATCH. Diamond Dallas Page (0) d. Sabu (2) with a Diamond Cutter out of nowhere in 6:00 (*1/2). Man, did DDP ever lay Sabu out, just annihilating him with a ‘Cutter that came from thin air! Sabu took a while to come to after that one! For DDP, it was an impressive win, and helps make his case he belongs in New York! THE SECOND MATCH. Dr. Payne (1) d. Pit Viper (3) with the K.O. Temple Claw in 13:31 (**1/4). The good doctor continues to win, certainly far more often than he loses, and he dispensed with Pit Viper in relatively short order here. His K.O. Temple Claw is becoming a feared weapon in the GWF…and so is Dr. Payne! THE THIRD MATCH. The Greek Gods (3) returned to GWF action and defeated The debuting Heartbreak Express (5) with a Proteus Smash in 26:47 (***). Pretty darn good match here, with the Gods having their hands full with the Heartbreak Express. The Gods are legendary in GWF circles, having been one of the most dominant teams of the early GWF. The fans certainly reacted big to seeing them return to the area, and are hopeful they can make another title run! The Heartbreak Express showed promise as well, although they certainly used rather nefarious methods during the match! THE FOURTH MATCH. In an absolute dandy of a match, and a dandy of a feud as well, Gorgeous George (4) d. Jim Londos (7) with a Rolling Hiplocks in 32:30 (****). Just another heated, close, and excellent contest between these warring wrestlers. The feud began months ago, when Gorgeous George split Londos wide open with his Georgie pins after a DQ finish to a match. Since then, the heat has only risen between these two, fueled by a close series of matches. George, by virtue of winning this battle, has earned a Heritage Title shot against the man who took that championship from him…Tiger Mask! THE FIFTH MATCH. The Main Event (2) d. Lance At-Las (3) with Sign on the Line in 14:22 (**1/2). Another decent contest between these two. Only this time, the brash Main Event let his temper get to him, and he cracked At-Las over the skull with a steel chair after the match, injuring At-Las and really drawing the ire of the crowd. This is becoming a good little feud itself! THE SIXTH MATCH: **World Junior Heavyweight Championship: Mike Quackenbush (0) (1st title defense) d. Iron Mike DiBiase (2) with a Quackendriver II in 17:50 (**1/4). Quackenbush continues his improbable run, dispatching one of the all-time toughest junior heavies in a contest that really proved Quackenbush’s toughness. Anybody who takes Quackenbush lightly is going to be in for a rude awakening! THE SEVENTH MATCH. In an incredibly stiff match, The Keepers of the Stone (5) d. The Mongols (5) with Divide and Conquer in 31:29 (***1/2). The Keepers have had quite a good showing during their various tenures in the GWF, and this match was certainly no exception. This contest was just blistering, with both teams just wailing away on one another with incredibly stiff shots! The Mongols made a very strong showing to get their GWF debut off to solid footing, and this contest was certainly not for the faint at heart! THE MAIN EVENT: ONE FALL, 60-MINUTE TIME LIMIT, FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. Giant Baba (3) (6th title defense) d. Tricky Nick Bockwinkel (2) with a Neckbreaker Drop to retain the title in 11:43 (***). This was a fast and furious contest, which saw Bockwinkel come charging out of the gate intent on wresting the championship away from Baba! Baba survived the torrid start by Bockwinkel to finally nail the challenger with the Neckbreaker Drop and put him away! This was a critically important win by Baba, as by virtue of retaining this version of the World title, he now will represent GWF CLASSIC in the historic World Title Unification Match at “Unified”! Will Baba become the first unified champion in GWF history??? Whew! Thus completes this edition of the still to be named GWF show! We’re still sifting through the wreckage that Commissioner Iron Hand has wrought, and we’re all waiting to see what our new format will turn out to be for future GWF wrestling cards! Until that is known, however, its all systems go towards UNIFIED, the historic unification Super Card presented to you the fan by the GWF. And, on the next exciting edition of the GWF, these matches are scheduled to take place: -The Terrible Turk vs. Pepper Gomez (another rematch in this sizzling feud!) -The West Texas Outlaws (bootlegs of mine) pay another visit to the GWF and take on those…um…troublesome?…Troubleshooters! -Bounty Hunter vs. Incredible Badger in a return bout -The Mongols continue their GWF run with a match against the Bodydonnas! -Big showdown rematch between Tricky Nick Bockwinkel and Curt Hennig! -And, in the big Main Event, Varsity (the World’s Greatest Wrestler...just ask him!) defends his precious GWF World Championship against challenger Paragon! Who will be the GWF CHAMPIONS representative for the historic Unification match at “Unified” The GWF. Don’t cha Dare Miss it!

“Live from the Felt Forum in New York’s Madison Square Garden, its…”
WRESTLING AT THE FORUM (#1233)
September 14, 2008 Felt Forum New York, NY
Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to this, our new showcase of professional wrestling, “Wrestling at the Forum”. This is our new home GWF fans, and each and every week, we will be featuring live wrestling cards featuring the greatest wrestlers on this planet…or any other for that matter! In addition, we will also be featuring, each and every month, special cards from right next door in the cathedral of wrestling, Madison Square Garden!
So, sit back and relax, and let’s dive right in to the action, as only the GWF can provide!
THE FIRST MATCH. Pendekar (0) d. Stigma (3) with a Kimura Armbreaker in 9:02 (*3/4). 2 of the better mat grapplers squared off in this opener, and this time, it was Pendekar emerging on top with the win, locking in his Armbreaker and using his leverage to make Stigma howl with pain. Pendekar is one of the more underrated wrestlers to appear in the GWF, and at some point, is certainly deserving of more title consideration.
THE SECOND MATCH. Those madcap brawlers from Texas, Slammin’ Sammy Lovett and Dirty Don Nathan, aka The West Texas Outlaws (1) d. The Troubleshooters (5) with a Brainbuster in 16:31 (**1/4). Lovett and Nathan (bootleg creations of mine) have always been fan favorites, and while mayhem is sure to follow them whenever they make it up here to New York, the fans only seem to delight in it all. Tonight, the Outlaws just punished one of the top teams in wrestling, and by so doing, established their title worthiness immediately. After the smoke clears from UNIFIED, they may very well be contending for the Tag Titles.
THE THIRD MATCH. The Terrible Turk (0) d. Pepper Gomez (0) by DQ in just 5:22 (*1/4). This feud just gets nastier and nastier. This time, The Turk slammed Gomez to the concrete floor, really setting off the fans, who just adore Pepper! Luckily, Pepper wasn’t seriously hurt, but boy, was he mad! Both Gomez and his buddy Yukon Eric are now itching to exact revenge against the mad Turk!
THE FOURTH MATCH. In another feud rematch, The Bounty Hunter (0) d. Incredible Badger (2) with a Snap Suplex in 8:59 (*1/2). If that weren’t enough, The Hunter managed to injure Badger once again, and some say it was deliberate! Gadzooks GWF fans…the tensions between Bounty Hunter and Kill Prey and The Andromedans are reaching a fever pitch! There has to be resolution soon, or somebody’s going to get seriously injured!
THE FIFTH MATCH. The Mongols (0) d. The Bodydonnas (2) using an Attack with Chains in 12:53 (**). Funny thing about the Mongols. They are intimidating, they are powerful, and they are mad. But, the fans just can’t seem to get enough of them. Especially against those preening Bodydonnas! The Mongols brutal style is a winning one, and certainly an entertaining one.
THE SIXTH MATCH. Blizzard (2) and Sly Drury (3) locked horns again, and this time it was Blizzard emerging on top with the Ice Storm in 12:01 (***). This was a fast and furious match, with both wrestlers pulling out the big guns, and going for the win early in the contest! Blizzard continues to impress with his ability to take down men who are almost twice his size. Drury was definitely feeling humiliated at the defeat, and you can bet he’ll be looking to square things with Blizzard soon.
THE SEVENTH MATCH. In a highly anticipated rematch, Tricky Nick Bockwinkel (1) d. Curt Hennig (0) by DQ in just 6:46 (*1/2). Well, a lot of hype for the match, but the contest quickly went south, due to the combatants mutual hate of one another! The action spilled out of the ring very early, and by the six minute mark, the referee had lost all control. This feud may be heading towards a stipulation match to settle it, because it sure seems that an ordinary wrestling ring cannot contain it!
THE MAIN EVENT: ONE FALL, 60-MINUTE TIME LIMIT, FOR THE GWF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. Paragon (0) d. Varsity(2) (and, unfortunately, no longer the World’s Greatest Wrestler) with the Final Overture in 7:22 to capture his first GWF Championship…and, perhaps most importantly, reserve a date with Giant Baba at UNIFIED to determine the first unified GWF World Champ (*1/2)! For Paragon, this victory finally fulfilled what many experts have deemed to be his destiny since he emerged on the big stage…namely, be a World Champ. He’s been so close so many times, most often frustrated in the past by the likes of Pegasus and Colossus, that he was visibly overcome with emotion with the victory, and kneeled in the center of the ring clutching his newly won prize for seemingly minutes. “The Big Man” has never really been loved by the fans, but he did garner their respect this evening for taking the title. Now he stands, along with Baba, on the precipice of wrestling history!
That’ll do it for this first edition of “Wrestling at The Forum” GWF fans! We sure hope you enjoyed our new format, and our new wrestling home. Be sure to keep your eyes open for future developments as we steam ahead towards UNIFIED, which is only a couple of weeks away now!
And, tune in for the next exciting edition of “Wrestling at The Forum”. Scheduled so far:
-The Killer Bees vs. The Medics (some decent matches between these two, and some heat!)
-Diamond Dallas Page vs. King Kong Bundy
-The Fabulous Kurt Anderson vs. “Irish” Pat Flanagan
-Debuting stars Ken Patera and Johnny Powers lock horns!
-And, in the big Main Event, Tiger Mask defends his Heritage Title against the man from whom he won the title…Gorgeous George!
The GWF.
Don’tcha Dare Miss It!

That's a great suggeston my friend! I'm a big fan of the old St. Louis wrestling club, and that's where I've lifted both my style of booking, and the name for my show. But, you never know, show names can always change!
