You are the "King of the Tournaments" bookerbill, such a great concept for your new fed. I liked Bobo Brazil winning the FCC title even if by DQ and what a way for the "Million $ Man" to get past Bruiser Brody and to ultimately win the tournament. Brody and Buddy Rogers certainly have a lot to be upset about.

I liked the fans backing Kowalski over DiBiase. I can see that happening. Kowalski is a mean, visious man but DiBiase is a cheating scumbag. Haha.
The Rogers, Brazil, DiBiase perfect storm is brewing. I'm starting to have flashbacks of the huge feud the three of them had in my fed!

Thank you everyone for the comments. The feedback is always appreciated.
Following the controversial ending to the FCC Title match at Crowning a Champion FCC management has been petitioned by counsel for Nature Boy Buddy Rogers to strip Bobo Brazil of the championship and declare the title vacant. The FCC has responded instead by granting Rogers an immediate rematch with Brazil in a bout that will have a definitive finish. FCC 06 Clash of the Titans will be headlined by Bobo Brazil v. Buddy Rogers in a steel cage match. The winner will walk away as the FCC World Champion!
So what of the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase who was apparently in line for the next FCC World Title shot? He has been booked into the eight man tournament instead. To say the least, DiBiase was not impressed when word reached him at his European chalet. The FCC was however nice enough to maintain the tradition of having the previous tournament winner the top seed. DiBiase has threatened to sue but the FCC is standing by their decision suggesting that perhaps they may dig deeper into the bribery allegations surrounding DiBiase. The eight man tournament will therefore feature the following competitors: Red Bastien, Chris Candido, Ted DiBiase, Dick Hutton, Killer Kowalski, Masked Superstar, Mad Dog Vachon, and Johnny Valentine
The card will be rounded out by two additional singles matches. First, in a rematch over a century in the making, Frank Gotch takes on George Hackenschmidt in what is sure to be a mat classic. In the alternative, the Texas Death Match signed between Sabu and Justin Credible will likely feature very little in the way of actual holds and counters.
Results should be up sometime next week.

FCC 06 – Clash of the Titans – Casper Events Center, Casper, Wyoming
Round One
Ted DiBiase w/Virgil v. Chris Candido w/Tammy DiBiase offers a young girl cash if she can skip rope ten times but Virgil sticks his foot in at eight and there is no payoff. The fans are livid and put their support behind the usually despised Candido who responds with an excellent performance. Candido takes the action to the DiBiase including two top rope huracanranas and a series of suplexes and slams. A vertical suplex gets a near fall. The action goes to the floor and both men exchange blows. Virgil attempts to deck Candido with a chair shot from behind but with some assistance from Tammy, Candido gets control of the chair and decks but Virgil and DiBiase. The bell sounds and Candido has been disqualified. The fans are not pleased but DiBiase picks up another win in season three. **
Masked Superstar v. Mad Dog Vachon The fans did not really care for either one of these competitors so there was a mixed reaction from the fans at the outset. Plenty of brawling and hard hitting action between these two both in and out of the ring. The fans really start to get into the match during the altercations on the floor. Vachon goes into the ring post and is busted open but still manages to escape a pair of COBRA HOLDS. Vachon sends Superstar into the ring post and the momentum turns. Vachon cannot get the win after a PILEDRIVER however but an airplane spin sets up a Mad Dog Pounce that sends Vachon to the next round. ***
Killer Kowalski v. Red Bastien Despite his size disadvantage, Bastien battled with great heart and determination from the outset with the fans backing each move. Kowalski gets control however after a brawl on the floor and picks up a series of near falls after a shoulder breaker and giant swing that bounces Bastien off the mat. Kowalski comes off the top of the corner but Bastien rolls clear and Kowalski crashes to the mat leading to Bastien’s first near fall. Bastien nearly gets the submission with a Boston Crab. Kowalski is able to block a charge in the corner with a knee to the chest and is back in charge of the bout. Bastien battles out of a stomach claw but cannot counter the CLAW HOLD. Kowalski advances. ***
Johnny Valentine v. Dick Hutton The match started off with a handshake the fans settled in for a hard hitting classic. Both men really laid them in early on. The pace picked up and Hutton nearly stole the win with a Cowboy backbreaker. Valentine was able to counter a charge into the corner with an elbow to the face and then followed with an ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER for a two count. Hutton came back with an Oklahoma sideroll for a near fall before stunning Valentine with an atomic drop to get the three count. **
Texas Death Match - Sabu v. Justin Credible Credible comes out armed with his Singapore Cane but it does him little good as Sabu continues to demonstrate his dominance in Hardcore action. Credible survives a CAMEL CLUTCH early on but Sabu just keeps on coming. Sabu assaults Credible on the floor with a chair and then get the submission with a second CAMEL CLUTCH. * ½
Semi - Finals
Ted DiBiase w/Virgil v. Mad Dog Vachon The fans really despise DiBiase and give their support to Vachon from the outset. The fans cheer every bite, gouge and stomp as Vachon tears into the winner of the previous tournament. A Mad Dog Pounce gets a near fall before Vachon plants DiBiase with a PILEDRIVER. Virgil jumps Vachon and takes him down with a clothesline. The referee lets the action continue perhaps due to the less than clean tactics displayed by Vachon in the bout so far. DiBiase is able to trap Vachon in a MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER but Vachon battles out. DiBiase then hits a deathjump smash and then advances to the finals with a second MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER. * ½
Killer Kowalski v. Dick Hutton Hutton gets a solid ovation as he comes to the ring. Hutton quickly asserts himself and stuns Kowalski with a Cowboy backbreaker nearly getting the victory. Hutton scores a two and half count with a Oklahoma sideroll. Kowalski is reeling and bails to the floor. Kowalski drags Hutton to the floor and runs him into the ring post shoulder first. Kowalski is out via disqualification and Hutton has a chance to make history. * ½
George Hackenschmidt v. Frank Gotch The fans are buzzing during the introductions and there is real tension in the ring between the two competitors. The story in this one was Gotch being continually frustrated and overwhelmed by Hackenschmidt’s strength. When the action did go to the mat, Hackenschmidt was able to overpower Gotch and maintain the advantage. Gotch battled out of a RUSSIAN BEAR HUG. Gotch was able to counter a deathjump attempt with a boot to the face but could not sustain the advantage. Hackenschmidt attempts to come off the ropes again but Gotch rolls clear of a leg drop and Hackenschmidt crashes to the mat. Gotch attempts a submission with a crossface and arm bar but Hackenschmidt power out. Gotch then moves to a GOTCH TOE HOLD and Hackenschmidt has no counter and submits. A single error by the Russian is enough to allow Gotch to claim victory. ***
Finals
Ted DiBase w/Virgil v. Dick Hutton The fans are once again all over DiBiase and Virgil as the make their way to the ring. Ringside is wondering what tricks DiBiase will pull out to win his second straight tournament. Hutton struggles early on as DiBiase gets the upper hand in the exchange of counter. A series of swinging neckbreakers have a significant impact. DiBiase tries an attack in the corner but Hutton catches his charging opponent with an elbow to the chin and then traps DiBiase in an ABDOMNIAL STETCH. The momentum turns so suddenly that Virgil does not have the time to interfere before the referee ends the match claiming DiBiase has submitted. The fans explode as Hutton as won the tournament and the right to face the FCC Champion at FCC 07. DiBiase is all over the referee claiming he did not submit. The decision stands and the Million Dollar Man then turns his frustration to Virgil questioning why he did to do something to assist. DiBiase slaps Virgil and then orders him to the back drawing huge heat in the process. *
FCC Title Match – Steel Cage Match – Bobo Brazil v. Buddy Rogers The cage is assembled and the fans are on the competitors come to the ring. The match will be won by pinfall or submission. The action between these two was intense from the outset. Rogers wasted no time in getting a near fall with a cross body block rebounding off the ropes. Rogers then runs Brazil into the cage wall busting the champion open. Brazil draws on the fans cheers and uses a big hammer punch to turn the momentum of the contest. Rogers survives two COCO BUTTS and then Brazil runs his challenger into the cage wall busting him open. A COCO BUTT opening up Rogers further but Nature Boy kicks out of the cover. Brazil grinds away on Rogers with a bear hug and then ends it with another COCO BUTT. ****
Bobo Brazil solidifies his claim to the best of the FCC with a decisive victory over Nature Boy Buddy Rogers inside the steel cage. Rogers was clearly not happy following the match and simply left the arena after getting stitched up without speaking to the media. Brazil was more than happy to speak to reporters as he left the arena and said he was looking forward to getting back into the ring against his next challenger Dick Hutton who surprized many tonight with his tournament victory. Up next, the FCC heads to Buffalo for another evening of action feature the best wrestlers in the world. Once again, there will be an eight man tournament. After reaching the finals for the second straight tournament, Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase has been made the top seed of the tournament and will battle the following competitors: Nick Bockwinkel, Bruiser Brody, Frank Gotch, George Hackenschmidt, Antonio Inoki, Don Leo Jonathan and Harley Race. In addition to FCC World Champion Bobo Brazil defending against Dick Hutton, the Midnight Express will be back in action as Jim Cornette leads his team into battle against the Last of the Famous International Playboys, Buff Bagwell & Brutus Beefcake. In a return grudge match from FCC 05, Superfly Jimmy Snuka has issues a challenge to face The Sheik one on one. Sheik left Snuka bloodied and battered in North Carolina and the Superfly will be looking to gain some measure of revenge. Finally, in the main event, Paul Ellering will be in the corner of the Road Warrior Hawk & Animal as they step into a steel cage against the Foreign Legion, Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff with Nikita Breznikov in their corner. These two team have had some intense battles in the previous two seasons and now will take their battle to the next level.

I have to agree with the others it was awesome to see Dick Hutton win the tournament. I'm really looking forward to his title match with Bobo Brazil. The Brazil-Rogers cage match was great as was Gotch-Hackenschmidt which had a classic comeback victory for Gotch. The card in Buffalo is loaded and that is some field going into the next tournament. Great action as always Bookerbill.

Thank you for the comments Ace, Crue and CC. Hutton winning the tournament was an awesome surprize and I am really looking forward to the Buffalo card. Crue is right, the card is stacked. I have high hopes for Snuka v. Sheik and hope they steal the show. Here is the tournament bracket:
Ted DiBiase v/Virgil v. George Hackenschmidt Bruiser Brody v. Don Leo Jonathan Nick Bockwinkel w/Bobby Heenan v. Harley Race Frank Gotch v. Antonio Inoki

FCC 07 – Brawl in Buffalo – Memorial Auditorium, Buffalo, New York
Round One
Ted DiBiase v/Virgil v. George Hackenschmidt The Million Dollar Man is greeted by significant heat as he comes to the ring to get the action underway. DiBiase struggles with finding a way to counter Hackenschmidt’s power but does manage to get his opponent to the floor where Virgil helps out with a series of stomps behind the referee’s back. The fans are livid. DiBiase uses a pair of MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPERS but Hackenschmidt is able to make the ropes. With the fans cheering him on, Hackenschmidt makes his comeback and uses back to back RUSSIAN BEAR HUGS but cannot get the submission. The damage is done however as Hackenschmidt moves from heel hooks to arm bars wearing down DiBiase until a single leg pick up and slam gets the three count. ** ½
Bruiser Brody v. Don Leo Jonathan The atmosphere at ringside was electric for this one from bell to bell. There is a significant group of Asian media at ringside covering the action. Brody is a machine tonight and just keeps coming against his slightly larger opponent. Never one to back down, Brody is merciless in his attack which included stomps, punches, slams, knees and suplexes. Several times Jonathan kicked out of pin attempts before he actually was able to get some offense of his own in including a giant swing that had the fans roaring. We then had plenty of brawling on the floor and Brody regained the upper hand planting a JUMPING KNEE DROP for the three count. ***
Nick Bockwinkel w/Bobby Heenan v. Harley Race The Brain draws fantastic heat as he leads Bockwinkel to the ring. Both these men have had success in the FCC to date with Race being a finalist at FCC 2. The story in this one is Race dominating the action but not being able to position Bockwinkel for the pin. Race landed multiple diving headbutts, suplexes and neckbreakers but could not put Bockwinkel away. There was a referee bump and Heenan quickly attacks Race. This allowed Bockwinkel to nearly steal the win with a BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER. The action went back and forth from this point but it was clear Bockwinkel was in the match for the first time. They traded advantages during brawls on the floor before Bockwinkel was able to get the win with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Big comeback victory for Bockwinkel and a big assist to Heenan for turning the match momentum. ***
Frank Gotch v. Antonio Inoki There is a Puroresu ceremony prior to the bell and both men are very respectful. Fans settled in for a mat classic between these two which started with a handshake. No one expected this one to end so quickly. Gotch picked up a two count with an Iowa backdrop and then moved immediately to a rolling knee bar that Inoki could barely escape. The damage was done and Gotch knew it as he then applied the GOTCH TOE HOLD to advance to the next round. *
The Last of the Famous International Playboys (Buff Bagwell & Brutus Beefcake) v. Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane) w/Jim Cornette The Express struggled in their first appearance in the FCC and were looking to make up for it tonight. They put on a clinic. Bagwell was cut off early on and despite repeated attempts just could not make the defensive tag. The Playboys did catch a break when Bagwell was able to roll clear of Lane’s deathjump smash leading to a near fall and a much needed tag. Beefcake could not maintain the momentum especially after Cornette dropped him with a tennis racket shot. Bagwell saved his partner from a VEG-O-MATIC but could not save him after a ROCKET LAUNCHER. A dominating win by the Express. **
Semi – Finals
George Hackenschmidt v. Bruiser Brody It was power and skill vs. power and brawling in the next match. The fans were split during the introductions and Brody immediately goes on the offensive but Hackenschmidt is ready and turns things around with a wristlock suplex followed immediately with a RUSSIAN BEAR HUG. Brody keeps on coming but the stomps in the corner have no effect on the Russian who scores with another wrist lock suplex and then plants Brody with a single leg pickup and slam to get the win. *
Nick Bockwinkel w/Bobby Heenan v. Frank Gotch The fans are solidly behind Gotch during the introductions. Heenan and Bockwinkel look very confident as the bell sounds. Bockwinkel shocks the fans by rebounding off the ropes with a cross body block early on that nearly gets the win. Bockwinkel then applies a BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER but Gotch escapes the hold and leaves the ring. They brawl on the floor and Gotch gets the advantage. Back inside Gotch is all over Bockwinkel on the mat. They go back outside and this time Heenan is able to distract Gotch allowing Bockwinkel to chop block Gotch’s knee at ringside. Back in the ring, Bockwinkel attacks the leg with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK and moves onto the finals (Cat’s Eyes). Bobby Heenan is proving his worth tonight. **
Jimmy Snuka v. The Sheik Sheik gets some unreal heat as he prays in the ring. Sheik gets the upper hand on his popular opponent early on but Snuka storms back with a leap frog and chop that sends Sheik to the floor. Snuka runs Sheik into the ring rails busting him open but the referee lets the action continue. They are back outside again and this time Sheik cracks Snuka with a chair shot busting him open. Snuka is dazed and Sheik takes advantage with a CAMEL CLUTCH. Superfly is able to make the ropes but Sheik drags Snuka to the middle of the ring and applies another CAMEL CLUTCH. Snuka passes out and Sheik picks up a big win. * ½
Finals
Nick Bockwinkel w/Bobby Heenan v. George Hackenschmidt The fans greet Heenan with a massive Weasel Chant and the Brian loses his mind at ringside. Hackenschmidt seems amused by the reaction and the bell sounds. Bockwinkel knows the importance of ending this one early having already battled twice tonight. He goes to work almost immediately and works his way to a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK but Hackenschmidt has no problem rolling Bockwinkel to break the hold. Hackenschmidt brushes aside a dropkick and then attacks with a wristlock suplex. Bockwinkel is stunned by the Russian’s power and Heenan screams for his man to “get out of there” which he does. Hackenschmidt comes outside and warns off Heenan with a stare and then runs Bockwinkel into the ring barrier head first bust him open. Hackenschmidt tosses his opponent back inside as the bell sounds. The referee has disqualified Hackenschmidt. The fans are livid but Bockwinkel wins the tournament and will face the FCC champion at FCC 08 The Anniversary 2. * ½
FCC Title Match – Bobo Brazil (ch) v. Dick Hutton The fans give both men a warm reception but the disappointment from the last match still lingers at ringside. A handshake gets the action underway and Brazil is able to gain control from the outset. The challenger struggles with the size disadvantage but then finally breaks out half way through the match with a flurry of offense that takes both the fans and Brazil by surprize. Twice a side salto gets a two count and a cowboy backbreaker also nearly ends it. The fans are really into the match and believe Hutton my pull off the upset. An atomic drop gets another two and then Brazil barely escapes an ABDOMINAL STRETCH. Brazil turns things around on the floor with a Bobo body slam at ringside. Back inside, a COCO BUTT wobbles Hutton but he still kicks out of the cover. It is back and forth now. Brazil begins to get the upper hand with a big hammer punch and a Bobo body slam. The action goes to the floor and Hutton gets the best of the champion at ringside. Back inside, Hutton traps Brazil in an ABDOMINAL STRETCH. Brazil cannot counter and we have a new champion! The Auditorium explodes. Brazil shakes Hutton hand and leaves the FCC champion to celebrate with his fans. ****
Steel Cage Match – Foreign Legion (Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik) w/Nikita Breznikov v. Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) w/Paul Ellering Ringside is buzzing over the title change as the steel cage is assembled. Sheik gets on the mic and tells the fans what he thinks of America and Buffalo in particular drawing huge heat. Volkoff rendition of Russian Idol does not help matters. Sheik and Volkoff trade in against Hawk before Sheik spits on Hawk. Maybe not the wisest things to do when locked inside a cage with the Warriors. Sheik is able to get out of harm’s way with tag but Volkoff takes the punishment including a flying shoulder ram from Animal followed by a running clothesline by Hawk. Hawk then executes a gorilla press slam on the 280 pound Russian stunning the fans. Hawk hooks the leg and gets the three count. This one is over quickly. Dud

Wow! That was a fun show, I was sitting in the golds for the show. I really like how Bockwinkel won, but Hackenschmidt really looked the better wrestler all night in my view. It would've been cool seeing Brazil retain, but seeing Hutton win the FCC strap is solid stuff...
