Champion's Carnival: Round 7
Block A Rikidozan def. Harley Race w/ a Boston Crab. Antonio Inoki def. Bobo Brazil w/ the OCTOPUS HOLD. Lou Thesz def. Freddie Blassie w/ a Scorpion Deathlock. Mad Dog Vachon def. John Tolos w/ the PILEDRIVER.
Block B Giant Baba def. Frank Gotch w/ the NECKBREAKER DROP. Johnny Valentine def. Jim Londos w/ the ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER. Steve Williams def. Killer Kowalski w/ a body slam pinning combination. Bruiser Brody def. Dan Severn w/ the JUMPING KNEEDROP.
Champion's Carnival: Round 8
Block A Lou Thesz def. Mad Dog Vachon w/ the THESZ PRESS Freddie Blassie def. Antonio Inoki w/ the SOUTHERN NECKBREAKER. Harley Race def. Bobo Brazil w/ the PILEDRIVER. Nick Bockwinkel def. Rikidozan w/ the BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER.
Block B Killer Kowalski def. Dan Severn w/ a Bombs Away. Johnny Valentine def. Steve Williams w/ a forearm hammer. Frank Gotch def. Jim Londos w/ a guillotine choke. Buddy Rogers def. Giant Baba w/ the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE.
NOTES: Steve Williams suffers his 1st loss in the tournament to Johnny Valentine. This sets up a very interesting 'Rivalry Round 9'! If both win, Valentine will win Block B due to his win over Williams in Round 8. Nick Bockwinkel has all but wrapped up Block A with a 4 point lead over his nearest rivals in the bracket.
On the other side of the coin, Harley Race finally beats a bigger name in the tournament in Bobo Brazil. Harley took liberties throughout the match on Bobo due to his frustrations concerning his performance throughout the tournament. Mad Dog Vachon scored a tough win over John Tolos in Round 8 to dampen the Hamilton, Ontario native's bracket winning hopes.
Up next is 'Rivalry Round 9'!

Champion's Carnival: Round 9: Rivalry Round
Block A John Tolos def. Freddie Blassie by DISQUALIFICATION. Bobo Brazil def. Lou Thesz w/ the COCO BUTT. Antonio Inoki def. Rikidozan w/ the ENZUIGIRI. Nick Bockwinkel def. Harley Race w/ a Boston Crab.
Block B Steve Williams def. Bruiser Brody by DISQUALIFICATION. Jim Londos def. Killer Kowalski w/ the AIRPLANE SPIN. Giant Baba def. Johnny Valentine w/ the NECKBREAKER DROP. Frank Gotch def. Buddy Rogers w/ the GOTCH TOEHOLD.
*NOTES: Nick Bockwinkel proved he is one of the greatest of all-time by dominating Harley Race to win Block A. The Inoki/Rikidozan match was back and forth as Inoki absorbed Dozan's THUNDEROUS CHOPS 3 times before landing back-to-back ENZUIGIRIs to finish the match. For someone who still could win the bracket, Lou Thesz just mailed this performance in as Bobo Brazil dominated their match-up. The bracket opener saw a lot of hatred thrown around and John Tolos taken out on a stretcher as Freddie Blassie landed the SOUTHERN NECKBREAKER as on the ring apron. This earned Blassie the automatic DQ.
The big story in Block B came down to 2 matches....Williams/Brody and Baba/Valentine. Williams beat Brody by DQ after Brody continued to pummel Williams as he was tied up in the ropes despite several warnings by the referee. Valentine on the other hand, knowing he just had to win, landed several ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHERs on Baba but couldn't keep the Giant down. Baba started his comeback with a huge running big boot and the NECKBREAKER DROP several minutes later ended Valentine's bid for the top spot in the bracket. Jim Londos had a difficult time keeping Killer Kowalski down but hauled him up for the AIRPLANE SPIN to get the duke. Frank Gotch and Buddy Rogers went nose-to-nose but it was the GOTCH TOEHOLD that did the damage in the end.
Block A Winner: Nick Bockwinkel Block B Winner: Steve Williams

I noticed an error in the final points tally but it doesn't change the two bracket winners. John Tolos should have finished with 9 points but the final results will stand and the Finale pairings will still be the same. What's a little controversy in the wrestling world?

My pick at the beginning was Bockwinkel vs Brody but knew Doc would have a good showing. Bock is so slick in my fed it is not even funny!
Great action and great tournament by the way. Really enjoyed reading the results.

Thanks everyone for reading along as I rolled and posted this. It was a fun endeavor and you will see this transition into a LOW fed in the near future....And now, on to The Finale. Enjoy.Champion's Carnival: Round 10: The Finale --Killer Kowalski def. Mad Dog Vachon with the KOWALSKI CLAWHOLD. Kowalski kept applying the hold until Vachon was worn down enough to keep his shoulders on the mat for a 3-count. --Harley Race ends a disappointing campaign with a win over Dan Severn. Harley hauls Severn up for the PILEDRIVER for the finish. --Bobo Brazil def. Bruiser Brody with a huge running lariat from the corner as Brody was running into the corner for a big boot. --Rikidozan and Frank Gotch hooked up for a great match. ' Dozan, after being hobbled by repeated GOTCH TOEHOLDs, fires back with THUNDEROUS CHOPS to get the win. --Buddy Rogers def. Freddie Blassie with the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE after Blassie misses a kneedrop from the top rope. --Lou Thesz def. Jim Londos in another great match, putting Londos away with the GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP. --In perhaps the best match of the night and with Rikidozan at ringside, Antonio Inoki and Giant Baba battled to a 40-minute TIME LIMIT DRAW. Inoki had the OCTOPUS HOLD sunk in tight as the bell rang to signal the TLD. --John Tolos def. Johnny Valentine by DISQUALIFICATION after a frustrated Valentine bashes Tolos with a steel chair. -- Main Event: Champion's Carnival Championship: Best 2/3 Falls: Nick Bockwinkel def. Steve Williams 2 falls to 1 fall and claims the 2014 Champion's Carnival trophy. Fall #1: Bockwinkel over Williams with the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Fall #2: Williams over Bockwinkel with the OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE. Fall #3: Bockwinkel over Williams with the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Nick Bockwinkel wins the 2014 Champion's Carnival!
*Block A wins the bracket battle 6-2-1 overall.
