Got off to a great start with Ambrose retaining IC belt over Owens in a really good Last Man Standing match and was all downhill from there, save for a better than expected US title match that saw Kalisto take the belt from Del Rio again...as for the Rumble itself, was PHENOMENAL to see AJ make his debut and loved that the crowd chanted his name on & off while he was in the match...would have loved to see him win the whole damn thing, just to shake things up, but who am I kidding, WWE doesn't take risks anymore, so I was glad that it was Owens who eliminated him and not some random "superstar". As for the winner of the Rumble, you're kidding me, right? Where do they possibly go from here? Reigns or Lesnar vs. HHH is going to headline Mania??? So, so sick of the whole Authotity storyline...if not for the fact that AJ is now there, tonight might have been the final straw for me. Sadly, I will still tune in to watch another of my favorites career get flushed down the toilet...

I thought it was just me, but I'm sick of the face chasing the title and face vs. authority figure storyline. I honestly feel that Roman should be the one defending at WM at the least. At the most, he should have destroyed the authority once and for all at RR and wrestled a fresh match at WM.
What's worse is we're going to get 45 minutes of Vince/Trips/Steff to start Raw tonight, instead of the usual 15.
The one pickums match I got right is the one I got wrong.
Glad Styles joined the roster though.

They want to give Roman his WM moment (one of many I'm sure) and they figure the way to go is to have him win the title. With Trips other opponent's not available (Rollins injured, Rock in a movie), it was clear this was the way they were going to go.

When do the fans get their WrestleMania "moment"

Hogan (over Andre), Benoit (before the tragedy), Bryan, the fans have had several over the years. It's just that fans are so jaded now, it would take their current darling winning for them to be satisfied before they sour upon him for getting pushed too much.

Personally I thought the whole event was great overall. Each of the pre-Rumble matches delivered, especially the Last Man Standing. The Rumble itself told a good story, with lots of interesting things happening. You know Triple H would be winning to set up the Mania match with reigns, and even that I was OK with how they booked it all. I figured Triple H winning would get some folks in a tizzy, like it has all over the internet. But that seems to be part of the Mania formula these days.

One Thing fur sure is strange. That they put Hand on the Rule "carved in Stone": Rumble Winner will face the Champion at WM for the Belt... I think HHH was not intended to be Nr.30 not from the start.
