I've been trying to learn this system, and i think I've got it down, except for one part. What constitutes the number in parenthesis? Is that tag abilities included, and the other number is singles?

Yes, singles then (tag).

This is my first crack at it - if Lord Rahl or LWPD or anyone mathematically inclined could double check it, that would be great:
LEGENDS ORIGINALS: Rob Van Dam: 45 (50) One Man Gang: 26 (29) Al Snow: 26 (30) Bryan Danielson: 26 (29) D-Lo Brown: 22 (25) John Pesek: 31 (31) - NOTE: Becomes 30 (30) in the role of an enforcer Exotic Adrian Street: 29 (32) - NOTE: Becomes 30 (33) when Miss Linda is at ringside Maurice Tillet: 18 (19) Hartford Love: 14 (25) Reginald Love: 15 (32) Penny Banner: 36 (45) Bob Roop: 27 (34) Sky Low Low (against midgets): 45 (54) Sky Low Low (against average sized wrestlers): -28 (-19) Little Beaver (against midgets): 35 (44) Little Beaver (against average sized wrestlers): -38 (-29)

Thanks for doing that. Falls out about as I expected. RVD has a great rating and can't wait to see what he does when he enters LOW. I plan to use Danielson with my LOTF guys so based on that rating he will fit in great.
Of course regardless of the rating, the dice always have their say too.

While I'm not a big believer in the "Rahl" stat, as I believe there are some significant things that aren't taken into consideration (and that would be almost impossible to quantify), does that make RVD the second highest rated card behind Mascaras?

Ouch! That's one strong card! So much for pitting him against the ECW stars.

If that's the second highest rated card don't think it's a good thing.

Before folks start screaming the sky is falling, there are several factors that are being overlooked.
First, and I repeat, the DICE ALWAYS have a say in every match. So unless you are "booking or fixing" your results upsets CAN and DO happen. Further for some weird cosmic reason dice just don't like certain wrestlers. For me, my dice flat out do not like Buddy Rogers. Rogers has a big time Rahl rating, but he struggles to beat the likes of Danny Doring. So to those that scream "the Rahl rating is too high" JEESH let the darn dice do some work first. Yes kids, this is a dice game, be it real dice or dice on a computer screen.
The Rahl ratings, which I appreciate, are an attempt to quantify this game. They do not make the game. You, the Promoter, still roll the dice. You, the Promoter, decide what strategy the wrestler has. You, the Promoter, decide what opponent a wrestler faces. If you, the Promoter, are hung up more on Ratings and less on the enjoyment of playing the game and seeing where the dice lead you--well, you the Promoter and fearer of the dreaded Rahl ratings, need to go back and remember what this game is about.
Third, I have the utmost respect for the Legends team. These guys put a TON of work into making this product. And to that I say THANK YOU a hundred times over. In a matter or 16 offensive moves they are trying to accurately reflect a wrestler's moveset while still complying with the card creation rules. Simply put it is not easy to do. The fact they do it so well time and again is a true credit to Chad, Cory, Tim and everyone else.
This is a game. The wrestlers do not actually come to your place everyday. They don't really crawl into a real ring at your place. This is a game, where your imagination makes things happen. Let me repeat, your IMAGINATION, not the Rahl ratings, make it all happen.
So before folks start the (unfortunately) annual "Legends nitpicking" session, let's have some "Decorum Please" and take in the big picture.
This is about fun guys.
And to Team Legends, while my order is on its way, THANK YOU!!!
