NAWA WRESTLING OUTBURST #23 San Ignacio, Mexico Oct. 22, 2119
The Texas Hangmen def. D-Lo Brown & Al Snow A rematch from last week where D-Lo Brown and Al Snow were DQed. This was a solid match but the masked men were able to control the majority of the action. D-Lo was cut off and the Hangmen worked him over. It took some time but they pinned D-Lo after a failed pin save attempt by Snow. Konnan def. Ray Stevens Konnan picked up his third straight victory since joining the NAWA. After trading some moves, Konnan put this one away with the Niagra Driver. As Konnan's arm was being raised, another masked man stormed into the ring and attacked the downed Ray Stevens. The Southern Boys def. PG-13 Last week's six-man tag involving these teams ended in a D.Q. PG-13 were on top of Tracy Smothers most of the match, but he kicked out after the backbreaker/elbow combination. Smothers tagged Tommy Rich and he quickly defeated Wolfie D with the sleeper. Bill Dundee def. Bobby Eaton Two men involved the d.q. finish of the six-man tag match last week. Dundee had no problem setting Eaton up for the Superstar Bomb to end the match. The Sheepherders def. The Vachons
Mad Dog and the Butcher were on top but didn't finish off Butch Miller. The Sheepherders made the tag and a pair of battering rams to Butcher put him down for three. The Sheepherders beat the Vachons two weeks ago in Seattle. Lou Thesz def. William Muldoon A nice technical matchup with William Muldoon starting out in NAWA after being in Japan. Thesz won with the Greco-Roman Backdrop. Frank Gotch def. Andre the Giant Andre returned from winning the Takedown Masters tournament over Lou Thesz in the finals. What a match by Gotch as he eventually got Andre on the mat and then that was it. Andre never got back up. The grinding hammerlock and guillotine choke kept Andre down. Then an incredible Iowa backdrop by Gotch brought the three-count. The Kangaroos def. The Midnight Express The former All-Asia tag team champions are looking to collect gold in the NAWA. Dennis Condrey and Stan Lane barely found any offense at all. The Roos were killing them, but one last comeback by the MX wasn't enough. Condrey hit the corner turnbuckle and was pinned (MX 8 coins). Harley Race def. Rob Van Dam by D.Q. Another epic encounter between these two. RVD was on fire but Race would not let himself be pinned. Race survived the 5 Star Frog Splash. Race found a way to come back but RVD was too strong to go down. RVD took the DQ loss on the outside, further stoking the fire between these two (Race 6 coins). Randy Savage & Rick Rude def. Mil Mascaras & Diamond Dallas Page Rude was in trouble early but the Macho Man made sure they wouldn't lose. He almost got a countout on Mascaras with an attack on the outside. It was all Macho Man and a couple Flying Elbows put Mascaras away.

NAWA WRESTLING OUTBURST #24 Ponce, Puerto Rico Oct. 29, 2119
The Killer Bees, Paul London & Brian Kendrick def. PG-13, Eddie Gilbert & Buff Bagwell A nice start to a huge edition of Outburst. A lot of great tags and back and forth action. London & Kendrick went to work on Eddie Gilbert and eventually put him away. D-Lo Brown def. Doug Gilbert Newcomer Doug Gilbert put up a fight but D-Lo didn't have much trouble winning this one. The Armstrongs def. The Texas Hangmen Bob and Brad are back in North America and ran into a rough and tough tag team. The Texas Hangmen completely dominated this entire match. The Armstrongs never gave up though and Bob's sleeper then Brad's dropkick sent Killer down for the pin (Armstrongs 6 coins). Ray Stevens def. The Grappler The mysterious masked man that attacked Ray Stevens last week is the Grappler. These two went toe to toe for a long time but Stevens use of the Bombs Away eventually gave him the win. Larry Hennig, Bobby Eaton & William Muldoon def. Val Venis, Dick Hutton & The French Angel A very interesting makeshift six-man tag team match. It was a good one with plenty of action for both sides. Hutton took the beating though and went down to The Axe. Andre the Giant def. George "The Animal" Steele The eighth wonder of the world got back on track after a loss last week to Frank Gotch. Andre was methodical and beat Steele with a sitdown splash. Hillbilly Jim def. Jimmy Snuka What a great match as Hillbilly Jim just outlasted the Superfly in this one. Snuka really rolled but the Leap didn't end this one. Hillbilly Jim kept coming back and won with the Bear Hug. The Kangaroos & The Sheepherders def. The Midnight Express & The Vachons
Four of the best tag teams in the world today showed why in this one. The Roos were on the receiving end for quite some time but the Boomerang finished off Butcher Vachon. Lou Thesz def. Frank Gotch
This was very evenly matched but Thesz got to his finisher first. A pair of Greco-Roman Backdrops won him the match. Randy Savage def. Mil Mascaras The first singles contest for the Macho Man and it was a good one. Randy Savage ruled the bout, with occasional flare ups by Mascaras. The masked legend is really hard to beat but Savage finally did it (Mascaras 5 coins). FINISHER MATCH Harley Race def. Rob Van Dam These two have been battling it out for awhile now with mixed results. This one was another great back and forth match. It was Race getting to his finisher first and the Piledriver brought about the three-count. NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Don Muraco & Bob Roop (ch) def. The Southern Boys A spectacular title match as Tommy Rich and Tracy Smothers were pummeled over and over but still made this a great one. Smothers was virtually killed to start the match but stayed alive. From there Rich carried most of the offense. The teams just went back and forth over and over. Muraco scored the pin on Rich with the Hawaiian Hammer (Smothers 6 coins, Roops 4 coins). NORTH AMERICAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Konnan def. Diamond Dallas Page (ch) Dallas Page just can't get a break, winning plenty of titles but never holding onto them. Konnan rolled practically unopposed. Page did kick out of the Niagra Driver but Konnan never stopped coming at him. The DDT ended this one.

NAWA WRESTLING OUTBURST #25 Tampa, FL Nov. 5, 2119
The Killer Bees def. The Texas Hangmen A very good, and long opening bout on Outburst. The Hangmen have proven to be very tought to beat and have picked up some good wins in the NAWA. They had the upperhand most of the way with good back and forth action. Jim Brunzell eventually downed Psycho for the pin. The Mountie def. Larry Hennig This was a really hard-hitting affair, in and out of the ring. The Axe was taking some punishment but turned the match around and the Mountie was on the run. Hennig kicked out after the Shock Stick and they kept going at it. A short choke slam brought a win to the Mountie. PG-13 def. The Armstrongs
This one was all Bob and Brad until it wasn't. The Armstrongs took apart Wolfie D, but an attack on the floor allowed the Backbreaker/Elbow combination and PG-13 grabbed the win. In the ring: Fans weren't sure what to think about the man in the ring wearing a kilt. He just started talking and pretty much making fun of a lot of people on the roster. He ended up taking mostly about Al Snow, the guy that brings head with him to the ring. Finally Al Snow had heard enough and got in his face. A referee rang the bell. Al Snow def. Roddy Piper by D.Q. Al Snow tore into Piper and the two continually fought on the floor. Piper was disqualified and the two never stopped brawling all the way to the back. The Midnight Express def. The Sheepherders Luke and Butch had things going their way against both Condrey and Lane. But a double elbow slingshot hit Butch and a three-count ensued. The Sheepherders won the post-match fight. Rick Rude def. Mil Mascaras Mascaras almost won by countout early in the match. Rude nailed the Luchador off the top rope and the Rude Awakening ended this one in a hurry. The Ravishing one delivered another Rude Awakening after the match, but the new North American heavyweight champion Konnan hit the ring to make the save. The Kangaroos def. The Vachons by D.Q. Costello and Heffernan destroyed the Mad Dog in this one. Vachon is as tough as they come and didn't give up. Finally the Butcher attacked the Roos, losing all control, and the bell rang. Tracy Smothers def. Bob Roop
A great battled between Roop, N-A tag title co-holder, and challenger last week Smothers. Non-stop action and tons of nearfalls. It was Smothers hitting the Jaw Jacker for the win (Smothers 4 coins, Roop 3 coins). Tommy Rich def. Don Muraco
Another tremendous match between the tag title participants last week. Rich and Muraco never stopped attacking. It was back and forth at its best but Rich wore the Rock down until the Thesz Press ended it (Rich 3 coins, Muraco 6 coins). Andre the Giant def. Jimmy Snuka
The Superfly stood toe to toe with the Giant. Snuka hit the Leap, but missed the second time he tried it. They pounded each other over and over but Andre's big splash ended this one. Randy Savage def. Lou Thesz
The Macho Man is looking so good here in the NAWA. Savage went right through Lou Thesz, although it took awhile. Savage was relentless and eventually the Flying Elbow put Thesz away. STEEL CAGE MATCH Rob Van Dam def. Harley Race It ended up who could get to the finisher first. RVD did the damage multiple times with the Van Daminator. Then the 5 Star Frog Splash brought him the win.

NAWA WRESTLING OUTBURST #26 Manchester, NH Nov. 12, 2119
William Muldoon def. Doug Gilbert One of the longest opening matches in promotion history. Muldoon did everything in the world except beat Gilbert. Guts personified is how Gilbert wrestled until he couldn't go anymore. The body lift and thrown by Muldoon put an end to things (Gilbert 10 coins!!!) The Grappler def. Ray Stevens A rematch between these two and this time the Grappler nailed the Crippler with a loaded boot to win the match. The Killer Bees def. PG-13 by D.Q. The start looked like this was going to be a good match but JC Ice hit Blair with a hubcap and the bell rang. Bobby Eaton def. Jimmy Snuka A great match as Beautiful Bobby took the fight to the Superfly. A lot of great back and forth action but Eaton really took charge and the Alabama Jam put Snuka down (Snuka 4 coins). The Sheepherders def. The Midnight Express A rematch from last week and it was even better this time. Just great tag work back and forth but Condrey went down to a double clothesline. Lou Thesz def. The French Angel Maurice Tillet took Thesz to the floor every chance he got. Thesz held his own and won after using both his finishers. Al Snow def. Roddy Piper A brutal match spent mostly on the outside. Snow repeatedly showed Piper the head he made fun of, smashing him with it. The Snow Plow brought Snow the victory (Piper 4 coins). The Kangaroos def. The Vachons Another rematch and the Roos took care of things no problem, putting the Butcher away after using the top rope. Frank Gotch def. Rob Van Dam An excellent matchup of extreme differences. RVD was all-out offense while Gotch locked on every move he could. Both were worn down but the Gotch Toehold ended it (RVD 5 coins, Gotch 5 coins). Andre the Giant def. Randy Savage First loss in the career of the Macho Man. The Big Splash ended the night for Savage. NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Southern Boys def. Don Muraco & Bob Roop (ch) What a spectacular title match between these teams. Incredible action all the way to the end. Both teams twice made match-saving saves. Rich got a tag and Smothers came off the top rope on Roop to win the belts (Rich 7 coins). Muraco & Roop held the belts for three months and two weeks. NORTH AMERICAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Rick Rude def. Konnan (ch) Konnan's title run lasts just two weeks. This was a great match though. Both men seriously dug deep to keep the match going, kicking out after every big move the other could muster. Rude downed Konnan the final time with the Rude Awakening (Konnan 5 coins, Rude 4 coins). Rude becomes the only man to ever hold the United States, Intercontinental and North American heavyweight titles.

NAWA WRESTLING OUTBURST #27 Nova Scotia, Canada Nov. 19, 2119
William Muldoon def. Eddie Gilbert by D.Q. Hot Stuff didn't like how Muldoon worked over his brother Doug Gilbert last week. Eddie very quickly threw a fire ball at Muldoon. He got away with it, but then did it again and was disqualified. Roddy Piper def. D-Lo Brown This was all D-Lo most of the bout. Piper survived then hit Brown three times in a row with a foreign object. The Grappler & Dick Hutton def. Ray Stevens & Larry Hennig The Crippler and the Grappler got partners to continue their recent rivalry. Hutton defeated Stevens with the abdominal stretch, but after the match the Grappler got his shots in on Stevens once again. The Killer Bees def. PG-13 A tremendous encounter after the DQ result last week. Just awesome tag team expertise on display in this one, tons of near falls and tags when down. It was B. Brian Blair putting J.C. Ice away with a sleeper. Randy Savage def. Konnan Konnan won the N.A. title and quickly lost it last week to Rick Rude. He gave Savage a great fight but the Macho Man was too much with his flying elbow drop. The Midnight Express def. The Sheepherders Third week in a row for these teams, tied one apiece. Lane and Condrey obliterated Butch Miller. Three times with the Rocket Launcher after saves were made finally ended the match. Mil Mascaras def. Jimmy Snuka It was all Mil Mascaras coming off the top over and over until getting the three count. Lou Thesz def. Harley Race A great matchup between two top contenders for the World title. It was a real even bout but Thesz won with the Greco-Roman Backdrop. Andre the Giant def. Rob Van Dam by D.Q. This was a great contest and RVD really rolled with the offense, just hammering the Giant non-stop. The two fought a lot on the outside and it was RVD and Bill Alfonso that were disqualified. NWA WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Terry Gordy (ch) def. Hillbilly Jim Hillbilly Jim gave Gordy one of his best fights so far in his title reign. A great effort from Hillbilly Jim and very nearly winning the title. Gordy couldn't put the bgi man down until coming off the top rope to score the pin (H. Jim 4 coins).
