News & Views: Huge news out of the front office as the Competition Committee has decided to strip Mil Mascaras of the World Title has he is not medically cleared to defend his title on the next card. The Committee has further decided a new Champion will be determined by the Glory Honour Respect Tournament at the start of next season. For his part, Mascaras stated he understood the decision but made it clear that he wants Bockwinkel back in the ring before the end of this season. He certainly showed tonight that he was willing to face Bockwinkel medical clearance or not . . . Johnny Valentine gained a measure of revenge against his son tonight but things are not over between these two . . . Bobo Brazil and Mr. Jonathan continue to trade victories . . . Red Bastien & Frank Gotch appear to have finally put the Foreign Legion behind them with their big win tonight . . . Dick Hutton might want to change his name to Hard Core Hutton is he keeps battling Sabu
