Great show in Allentown, Bookerbill. Congrats to Bobo Brazil on becoming the new LCW World Heavyweight champion. I feel bad for Dick Hutton but he was only going to be able to hold off brazil for so long. I'm pumped to see Brazil go against Nick Bockwinkel, though. Killer Kowalski vs. Ox Baker is an awesome feud in your fed, I can't get enough of that one. Looking forward to your next show

Card 1.12 – Lewiston ME - Lewiston Armory
Match 1: King Kong Bundy v. Nikolai Volkoff w/Nikita Breznikov This was Volkoff third singles match of the season and his faced off with fellow powerhouse King Kong Bundy. Volkoff draws great heat by singing the Russian Anthem and suddenly everyone loves the walking condominium. Both men took a while to get going with a series of rest holds. Bundy began to unload the heavy blows including a pair of elbow drops off the ropes but Volkoff was able to use his speed advantage to counter Bundy’s charge into the corner and connect with an elbow to the face. With Breznikov screaming finishing him, Volkoff hits a BACKBREAKER DROP for the win (Bundy 5; Volkoff 4) (*)
Match 2: Greg Valentine & Johnny Valentine v. Playboy Buddy Rose & Gorgeous George w/Cherie Dupré George is still upset about not being granted a Tag Team Title Match after his singles win over Destroyer last card so he decided to go out and challenge the former tag team champions to prove his point. From the outset this one looks like it has potential to be a classic but a quick disqualification call by the referee stops the contest when Rose send Johnny Valentine into the ring post head first busting him open. It is a total beat down after the match with Rose hammering way on Johnny Valentine on the floor and George taking out Greg Valentine. Rose tosses Valentine back inside and finishes off the attack with a BOMBS AWAY. Security arrives and Rose & George retreat to the back drawing great heat. (G. Valentine 4; J. Valentine 1; Rose 3; George 2) (dud)
Match 3: Jimmy Snuka v. The Sandman The ovation for the Superfly blows the roof off the Armory. Sandman ties up Snuka with a reverse chinlock and then sends Snuka into the buckles but Snuka blocks Sandman’s charge with an elbow to the face. Sandman goes down hard and Snuka mounts the corner for a SUPERFLY LEAP and gets the quick win. (Sandman 4; Snuka 3) (dud)
Match 4: Haley Race v. Iron Sheik w/Nikita Breznikov Sheik gets on the mic before the bell and tells us what he thinks of America and the fans are all over him. This match is epic. It is all Race early on with a series of neckbreakers, headbutts and suplexes. Then there is a referee bump off a Race deathjump and things quickly break down. Race hits a PILEDRIVER for the win but the referee is still down. Sheik is able to come back blocking a charge into the corner. Three times he applies a CAMEL CLUTCH but there is still no referee to make the call as Race clearly cannot escape. Finally the referee recovers (12 moves) as the Sheik applies yet another CAMEL CLUTCH but this time Race has the answer and manages to slip a shoulder free. Things get ugly at this point as Sheik loads up his boot and bloodies Race. Later, Race is able to roll clear of a deathjump and the momentum switches. Race plants Sheik with another PILEDRIVER but Breznikov interferes. Race tosses Breznikov to the floor and the action continues. Sheik once again loads up his boot and attacks Race as the time limit expires. (Sheik 8; Race 8) (*****)
Match 5: Frank Gotch & Red Bastien v. Virgil Bastien wears a soft neck collar to protect his neck injury as he comes to the ring. Both teams wrestle a smart match with Gotch attempting to protect Bastien as much as possible and with DiBiase only allowing Virgil into the action when they had the advantage. There is a great pop when Bastien hot tags into the match about halfway through and sends DiBiase to the floor with flying dropkicks. Both teams trade the advantage back and forth until DiBiase and Bastien thrill the fans with a wild brawl on the floor. DiBiase takes out the referee and is disqualified. It is chaos after the bell as Bastien and Gotch gain the upper hand. Bastien traps DiBiase in a Boston Crab in the middle of the ring while Gotch takes out Virgil with a crossface and armbar. The crowd roars as both DiBiase and Virgil tap again and again until security arrives to break up the attack. (Gotch 3; Bastien 3; Virgil 4; DiBiase 2) (* ½)
Match 6: Ox Baker v. Killer Kowalski Last card Kowalski picked up a clean win over Baker so it was Baker who was looking to get one back tonight. Kowalski starts on fire picking up a near fall with an impressive deathjump cross body block. Kowalski goes to the top again but this time Baker counters the deathjump with a boot to the face and the momentum turns. Baker cannot get anything going and Kowalski is soon back on top. Baker has to grab the ropes to escape a CLAW HOLD. The action goes back and forth with Kowalski attempting to neutralize Baker’s finisher by working over the arm. Baker picks up a pair of near falls after shoulder breakers. The finish comes when Kowalski counters out of reverse chinlock and applies a stomach claw for the submission win (cat’s eyes!) After the match, Kowalski snaps and applies a FACE CLAW and refuses to release the hold. Baker is motionless and busted wide open as security arrives to break up the attack. Baker needs medical assistance and is helped to the back. (Kowalski 5; Baker 7) (** ½)
Match 7: Dick Hutton v. Nick Bockwinkel It was only appropriate that Nick Bockwinkel’s road to the World Title would go through Dick Hutton, the same man who bounced Bockwinkel out of the World Title Tournament back on card 1.02. The same tournament that Hutton would eventually go on to win. It is clear that Bockwinkel has redemption on his mind as he tears into Hutton who is clearly outclassed tonight. Hutton manages to escape a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Bockwinkel traps Hutton in the ropes and hammers away on him until the referee can shake Hutton loose. There is no big comeback for Hutton tonight as Bockwinkel finishes the match with a BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER and will finally wrestle for the World Title. (Hutton 6; Bockwinkel 3) (* ½)
Match 8: World Tag Team Title Match – Giant Baba & The Destroyer (ch) v. Road Warriors Media from Japan jam ringside to cover what is really a dream match for Japanese wrestling fans. Great action in this one with both teams making frequent tags. The Warriors really push around Destroyer with their power but Destroyer manages to turn the tables on Animal catching him on the top of the buckles and tossing him to the mat. There is great spot when Baba crushes Hawk with a deathjump kneedrop that shakes the Armory. Destroyer is able to string some offensive moves together against Animal and then hits a sensational suplex for the surprize win. The fans are stunned. There is no pin save attempt by Hawk who clearly thought Animal would kick out of the first pin attempt of the contest. (Hawk 2; Animal 4; Baba 2; Destroyer 2) (*)
News and Views: The first five star match of the season and some of the wildest action to date . . . For the second time this season, Johnny Valentine has been injured. This time it was at the hands of Playboy Buddy Rose. Greg Valentine was not happy after the card tonight and made it clear that he would not stop until Rose & George were run out of the Legends Championship Wrestling . . . Killer Kowalski has been suspended for one card for his attack on Ox Baker tonight. Baker was taken to hospital for observation with a possible concussion . . . The feud between Red Bastien/Frank Gotch and the Million Dollar Corporation just keeps getting more intense . . . Dominating win The Superfly tonight against his former partner . . .Nick Bockwinkel was favoured to win the World Title Tournament before the season began but it took 10 cards for Bockwinkel to battle his way to the top of the contenders list after being bounced from the opening round of the World Title Tournament.

Wow! A 5 star match between Harley Race and the Iron Sheik, that looked like a Fun match plus it might have been a time limit draw I'm guessing we'll see a rematch...
Volkoff with a nice upset over Bundy and it's cool seeing Rose&George with a win, plus the LOD lose in a shocker and it might have been a dud, Snuka winning over the Sandman is all good...

The card in Lewiston was great, Bookerbill. Harley Race vs. Iron Sheik sounded amazing as did Killer Kowalski vs. Ox Baker. Nick Bockwinkel is clearly primed and ready for his title shot with his solid win over former champion Dick Hutton. Baba & The Destroyer had an amazing win over the Road Warriors, clearly a surprise finish. I also liked the war between the Valentine's and Gorgeous George & Playboy Buddy Rose

Thanks for checking out the action CC and Cruefan I really like the feud between Rose & George v. The Valentines as well. I think they might match up very well and will provide some entertaining action. On a non LCW note, does anyone know what will happen to the message board once WTIC steps away? Up next... Sorry if my comment about the message board was a tad confusing. Wrong board.
Bockwinkel's finally has his title shot so lets get to the action!
Card 1.13 – White Plains, NY – Westchester County Center
Match 1: Nikolai Volkoff w/Nikita Breznikov v. The Destroyer It was back on the first card that the interference of Breznikov assisted Volkoff in beating Destroyer in the qualification round of the World Title Tournament and Destroyer has had to wait until now to get his payback. Destroyer shows off his mat skills early on and nearly gets the win with a sensation suplex. A single leg Boston Crab wears down the big Russian but Volkoff is able to use his power to get back into the match. Destroyer counters a choke slam with an intelligent sleeper hold and Volkoff cannot escape. Impressive win by the co-holder of the Tag Team Titles. (Volkoff 7; Destroyer 2) * ½ Match 2: Road Warriors v. Jimmy & Johnny Valiant With rumours flying around backstage that the Foreign Legion had been given the next shot at the Tag Team Champions the Warriors were not in a very good mood heading out to the ring. The Valiant Brothers use quick tags and some questionable tactics to keep in the match against the fired up powerhouse of the Road Warriors. Animal counters a charge to the corner and catches Jimmy Valiant with an elbow to the chin. Seconds later, a DOOMSDAY DEVICE ends it while Animal blocks Johnny Valiant from making the save. (Animal 3; Hawk 2, Johnny V 4; Jimmy V 4) (dud)
Match 3: Buddy Rogers v. Dick Hutton Rogers is coming off a suspension after he attacked a referee back in Harrisburg and is first opponent was the former World’s Champion Dick Hutton. Rogers is fired up and the fans are all over him. The Nature Boy dominates early but Hutton avoids a charge to the corner and rolls up Rogers for a near fall. Hutton seems determined to get Rogers’s shoulders on the mat and goes for the pin after an atomic drop and side salto. Rogers kicks out and appears to be getting frustrated. Rogers regains control by countering a figure four leglock (ch) attempt and punishes Hutton until Hutton once again avoids a charge to the corner and the Nature Boy hits the buckles hard and crumbles t to the mat. Hutton hooks the leg for 2 ¾ and the fans thought it was over. Hutton quickly moves to an ABDOMINAL STRETCH and Rogers gives in. Hutton stuns Rogers and the fans explode. (Hutton 3; Rogers 5) (**)
Match 4: The Sandman v. Jimmy Snuka Monster ovation for Snuka as he comes to the ring. Sandman does the beer to the head routine at ringside which has the blood flowing before the bell. Snuka’s headbutts in the opening minutes have Sandman wearing the crimson mask but Sandman manages to avoid Snuka’s charge in the corner and Snuka crashes into the buckles leading to a near fall. Plenty of action at ringside as you would expect with both men showing they can brawl. Snuka picks up a pair of near falls after two impressive diving headbutts. Sandman tries to clock Snuka with a steel chair at ringside but Snuka wrestles the chair away and decks Sandman earning a disqualification. The fans are not pleased with the call and neither is Snuka who immediately headbutts the official and then tears into Sandman. Both men brawl to the back and the official needs medical attention. (Sandman 5, Snuka 5) (**)
Match 5: Ted DiBiase & Virgil v. Frank Gotch & Red Bastien These two teams have traded disqualification wins in their previous two meetings so this was the rubber match. The one was epic! Things started off slowly but took an insane turn about half way through the match when in a span of less of a minute Gotch and DiBiase send each other into the ring post with both men doing sick colour. A very bloody Gotch survives back to back to back COBRA CLUTCHES before Bastien is able to hot tag into the match. Virgil and DiBiase save each other from defeat and later Gotch escapes a MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER by grabbing the ropes. The end comes when Virgil escapes a rolling kneebar by grabbing the ropes and then bails to the floor. Virgil splats to floor and cannot recover before the 10 count. A bloody and battered DiBiase can just stand over his fallen servant and scowl. (DiBiase 9; Virgil 9; Gotch 6; Bastien 4) (*****)
Match 6: Greg & Johnny Valentine v. Playboy Buddy Rose & Gorgeous George w/Cherie Dupré Although the fans are exhausted after the last encounter, they still have some heat reserved from George and Rose. There is classic exchange between George and the referee in which George demands that the blood stained mat be scrubbed clean before he will step into the ring. Johnny Valentine has his ribs taped up. It is back and forth from the opening bell with both teams able to make frequent tags. Neither team can gain any sort of advantage as this one is very closely contested. Valentine and George end up brawling on the floor and the referee cannot regain control and disqualifies both men. The fight continues until security arrives to break things up. (G. Valentine 4; J. Valentine 2; George 2; Rose 3) (dud)
Match 7: Harley Race v. Iron Sheik w/Nikita Breznikov After the last two matches, the atmosphere is electric during the introductions. We get an awesome USA chant and Sheik loses his mind. There is really no need to mention that these two had a five star classic last card. Breznikov gets involved early in this one when Race gets trapped in the ropes giving the manger an opportunity to choke Race from the apron. Race gets some payback later on when he drops Breznikov with a head butt. Race rams Sheik into the steel rails busting him open. It is back and forth when the action returns to the ring. Race hits a vertical suplex and then plants Sheik with a PILEDRIVER for the three count. Not a five star bout this time but the fans are very happy with witnessing the Sheik getting bloodied and beaten. (Race 2; Sheik 3) (*)
Match 8: World Title Match – Bobo Brazil v. Nick Bockwinkel The fans greet the champion with a thunderous ovation. Bockwinkel is all business during the introductions. There is no real advantage for either man early on but Bockwinkel manages to catch Brazil climbing the corner and tosses Brazil to the mat. Bockwinkel tries to capitalize with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK but Brazil is able to reach the ropes. Brazil sends Bockwinkel into the steel rails but the referee lets the action continue. It is back and forth and the action goes to the floor several times. Both men end up brawling on the floor and the referee steps in only to get caught by Bockwinkel’s elbow. The referee is dazed but is aware enough to call for the disqualification and award the bout to Brazil. Bockwinkel protests but to no avail. Brazil retains his title. (Bockwinkel 3, Brazil 2) (dud)
News and Views: Despite the count out finish, the tag team war between the Million Dollar Corporation and the team of Gotch and Bastien was a five star match that was just one token short of time limit draw . . . . Just when it looked like Dick Hutton was finished he once again pulls out a big win against the returning Buddy Rogers . . . Nick Bockwinkel’s World Title chase ends in ruins . . . Jimmy Snuka was slapped with the largest fine to date by Legends Championship Wrestling officials for his attack on the referee. The Superfly is out $12,000.00 . . . Destroyer had an easy time with Nikolai Volkoff tonight which has made some question whether or not the Foreign Legion should be facing Destroyer & Giant Baba for the Tag Team Titles next card . . . The feud between the Valentines and the team of Gorgeous George & Buddy Rose continues to heat up.

Solid show in White Plains and the poor referees took a beating too. Huge win for Dick Hutton over Buddy Rogers and Nick Bockwinkel has a case for a title rematch with Bobo Brazil. Nice win for Harley Race over the Iron Sheik and the Valentine's vs. Rose & George is a feud I'm really interested in. Great stuff aas usual, Bookerbill
