LOL...I know who the Skrulls are Caedus. I was just referring to the Marvel story line going on that a Skrull is supposed to be on every Marvel team

Just a quick question for anyone who actually has the cards...how significant is Gryt's upgrade? You don't have to give stats or anything...but is a big step up, or just a little bump?
I also agree with the comment about the 'comic book' feel of 2123...or at least the Batman/Joker reference. Without it being 'too close', it adds a dimension to a feud (Swarm/Tricks) that really could take it to another level.
And upon reading parts of the handbook again, I really like how this edition lays the groudwork for so many different possibilities...especially with the problem of wrestlers having to decide to 'go against Iron Hand' in order to, say, go after a Title belt (as The Troubleshooters talk about in the handbook). Very well done...and adds a new wrinkle to the game that should be a lot of fun to play around with.

I haven't gotten mine yet, but I'm sure that his (pw) rating will go up, probably around a -2. A -3 is pushing it; give him another 5 game editions or so for that to happen.

I'd have to say Gryt got a very respectable upgrade. He's kind of a mini-offensive dynamo now with a specialty in tag matches. He's always been kind of a joke in my fed but I think the Circus Strongmen have a legit shot at the titles this year thanks to this upgrade. In many ways he's kind of scary. As for if it's a big step or little bump I'd side with big step. Like I said, offensively he's very dangerous now. Especially in tag matches.

When the mailman drops off my cards this is the #1 I want to see. Mostly because of how bad I felt it was for Tanck to take astep back in 2122 going into a tag team with Gryt. Tricks and Swarm are the next 2 I really can't wait to see the stats for. Unlike most I liked Swarm's original art a lot more than the new. He just looks too skinny to me. Tricks has dominated this feud, and I'm so happy it's getting an upgrade on both ends. Tricks is just friggin' great art!! He's everything Doink wished he could be ;D

This may be a dumb question, but a few posts here got me to thinking, and I've played independently of the handbooks for many years, so I really don't know.
Do those of you who follow the handbooks maintain the same champions as listed in (the handbooks)?
I guess what I'm asking is this; will you make Monolith your heavyweight champion simply because it follows the storyline format, or will you leave your champ(s) in place?

normally I leave my champions the same, even if they leave the fed I have them stay until they lose the title. Since it's part of the storyline i may go with Iron Hand awarding the belts, not sure yet.

I try to use the major plot points and fueds to get things rolling, but after that its anyone's guess as to where the story will go.
I'm going to use the title changes for a couple of fueds. I figure with the right booking Sly can win the title back from Monolith anyway, hell Dante beat Monolith a year ago when I had a combined fed, so I figure anyone can do it. Its the luck of the dice.
