All Three Championships are on the line, OI4K look to take out the Briscoes and Adam Cole faces the Samoan Submission Machine in Vorhees!:Bryan Danielson successfully defended his ROH World Championship for a fourth time in Detroit by beating Jigsaw in a classic match, but Danielson's challenges from international talent continues on in Vorhees as he now takes on Ricochet from Dragon Gate. Ricochet is one of, if not the top high flyer in the world and poses an interesting puzzle that Danielson has never quite faced during his tenure in ROH. Can Ricochet pull out the biggest upset in ROH history? AJ Styles has defended the ROH Pure Wrestling Championship once since winning it at the Fourth Anniversary Show, defeating Samoa Joe. At Death Before Dishonor V, Styles faces another old adversary as he does battle with the "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels. With the history between these two, one thing is for sure: this will be a war. Generation Next made their second defense of the ROH World Tag Team Championship against The Kings of Wrestling in Toronto in a great match that could have easily gone either way. The Kings have since proved themselves worthy of a rematch and enlisted the managerial services of Shane Hagadorn en route to their rematch in Vorhees. Can this change in leadership finally lead the Kings to ROH gold? It's no secret that ever since the CZW feud, that Adam Cole hasn't exactly been a favorite in the locker room. Many of the ROH wrestlers have publicly discussed their dislike for Cole and while many have tried to knock him down a peg, nobody has succeeded in over a year now. Cole recently continued his win streak by beating AJ Styles for a second time, but when Cole continued the beating and attempted to further injure AJ's neck, Samoa Joe made the save and demanded a fight with Cole. In Vorhees, the two meet in a Fight Without Honor! Will Joe beat some respect into the Panama City Playboy, or will Adam Cole continue his trek towards his guaranteed shot at ROH World Championship with another huge win? Jay and Mark Briscoe, to many fans, are Ring of Honor. They've fought and bled for this company since day one but as of late, they've had their issues with OI4K. At the last show in Detroit, Jay and Mark beat the Irish Airborne to earn a tag title shot in Philadelphia. However, before we get there, the Briscoes want to finish off OI4K in Vorhees! Stay tuned for more updates on the fifth installment of Death Before Dishonor, and also our returns to Philadelphia, Dayton, Indianapolis, Manhattan and Chicago! A huge main event is still in the works for Glory By Honor V and we hope to have it finalized soon, so expect an announcement on that in the near future! Card #45: "Death Before Dishonor V": Voorhees, NJ:ROH World Championship: Bryan Danielson (ch) vs. Ricochet ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: AJ Styles (ch) vs. Christopher Daniels ROH World Tag Team Championship: Generation Next of Austin Aries and Roderick Strong (ch) vs. The Kings of Wrestling of Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli Fight Without Honor: Adam Cole vs. Samoa Joe Jay and Mark Briscoe vs. OI4K of Sami Callihan and Jon Moxley Card #46: "Best in the World": Philadelphia, PA:ROH World Championship: X (ch) vs. Randy Savage ROH World Tag Team Championship: X and X (ch) vs. Jay and Mark Briscoe Card #47: "No Way Out": Dayton, OH:ROH World Championship: X (ch) vs. Tyler Black Card #48: "Glory By Honor V": Indianapolis, IN:Card #49: "Manhattan Mayhem": Manhattan, NY:Card #50: "Final Battle V": Chicago, IL (iPPV):

ROH gives into the demands of the Age of the Fall, plus the Young Bucks take on Generation Next, CZW takes on ROH one more time and a six man war decides a future ROH World Championship challenger in Vorhees! The card for this weekend's Death Before Dishonor V has been finalized and four huge matches have been added! Tyler Black and the Age of the Fall threatened to show up and disrupt Death Before Dishonor V, saying they have come to destroy ROH. In Vorhees, they'll have their chance to do what they've said all along...but not before taking on The American Wolves! Davey and Eddie have assured ROH officials that the Age of the Fall will be stopped in Vorhees! The Young Bucks haven't been seen in ROH since their loss to the Kings of Wrestling back at Final Battle IV, whereas Generation Next members Rich Swann and AR Fox can always be found in the corners of fellow Generation Next members Austin Aries, Roderick Strong and Adam Cole. Aries and Strong have given Swann and Fox the orders to keep top contenders away from the champions and they'll have the chance to do just that this weekend as they take on The Young Bucks! It wasn't that long ago that CZW and ROH were at odds with one another and a war waged over the course of our second year, culminating in a Cage of Death at Final Battle II that saw ROH emerge victorious. Part of the agreement for the show in Vorhees was that CZW must have a presence on the show and we've granted them a tag match as DJ Hyde teams with The Front's Biff Busick as they take on Truth Martini's new House of Truth in Drew Gulak and Mike Bennett. A special six man match has been added with the stipulation that the winner will challenge for the ROH World Championship when we return to New York City for Manhattan Mayhem V! In this match, Tommaso Ciampa will take on Michael Elgin, Willie Mack, Cedric Alexander, Brian Cage and Frankie Kazarian! Who will land themselves the biggest match of their career in NYC? Card #45: "Death Before Dishonor V": Voorhees, NJ:ROH World Championship: Bryan Danielson (ch) vs. Ricochet ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: AJ Styles (ch) vs. Christopher Daniels ROH World Tag Team Championship: Generation Next of Austin Aries and Roderick Strong (ch) vs. The Kings of Wrestling of Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli Fight Without Honor: Adam Cole vs. Samoa Joe Jay and Mark Briscoe vs. OI4K of Sami Callihan and Jon Moxley The American Wolves of Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards vs. The Age of the Fall of Tyler Black and the Necro Butcher with Matt Tremont The Young Bucks of Nick and Matt Jackson vs. Generation Next of Rich Swann and AR Fox CZW vs. ROH: DJ Hyde and Biff Busick vs. The House of Truth of Drew Gulak and Mike Bennett with Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties Six Man Scramble for a ROH World Championship Match at Manhattan Mayhem: Tommaso Ciampa with Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties vs. Michael Elgin vs. Willie Mack vs. Cedric Alexander vs. Brian Cage vs. Frankie Kazarian Card #46: "Best in the World": Philadelphia, PA:ROH World Championship: X (ch) vs. Randy Savage ROH World Tag Team Championship: X and X (ch) vs. Jay and Mark Briscoe Card #47: "No Way Out": Dayton, OH:ROH World Championship: X (ch) vs. Tyler Black Card #48: "Glory By Honor V": Indianapolis, IN:Card #49: "Manhattan Mayhem": Manhattan, NY:ROH World Championship: X (ch) vs. Winner of Six Man Scramble at Death Before Dishonor V Card #50: "Final Battle V": Chicago, IL (iPPV):

Card #45: "Death Before Dishonor V": Voorhees, NJ:[PRESHOW] Adam Cole is standing outside the Flyers Skate Zone. Cole says that this building houses CZW and that it was three years ago around this time that he turned his back on ROH, won Survival of the Fittest the first time and then held Davey Richards to two time limit draws. Cole reiterates that he has not lost a match in over a year and that he has a ROH World Championship match guaranteed any time within the next year. Cole brings up the Fight Without Honor and says that Joe is pathetic, trying to hold on to his glory years and tonight, Adam Cole will put the old dog down...for good. 1.) Jay and Mark Briscoe vs. OI4K of Sami Callihan and Jon Moxley went to a no contest at 3:52 when Kevin Steen, El Generico, Dave Crist and Jake Crist interfered. All eight men brawled to the back after the bell. [DUD] 2.) Generation Next of Rich Swann and AR Fox beat The Young Bucks of Nick and Matt Jackson in 16:42 when Swann used the Chicken Fried Driver on Matt. [***3/4] 3.) CZW vs. ROH: DJ Hyde and Biff Busick beat The House of Truth of Drew Gulak and Mike Bennett with Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties in 8:34 when Busick used a half nelson suplex on Bennett while Bennett was distracted by Scarlett and Kasey on the outside of the ring. [*3/4] 4.) The American Wolves of Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards beat The Age of the Fall of Tyler Black and the Necro Butcher with Matt Tremont via disqualification in 7:33 when Tremont interfered, attacking Richards. [**] [POST MATCH] Tremont takes his fork and stabs Richards in the face several times, cutting him open. Tremont pulls away and holds the fork up, but Eddie Edwards hits him in the back with a chair and cleans house on Age of the fall before tending to his partner as paramedics and security rushed the ring. 5.) Six Man Scramble for a ROH World Championship Match at Manhattan Mayhem: Tommaso Ciampa with Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties beat Michael Elgin, Willie Mack, Cedric Alexander, Brian Cage and Frankie Kazarian in 12:26 when Ciampa used Project Ciampa on Cage. [***] 6.) ROH World Tag Team Championship: The Kings of Wrestling of Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli with Shane Hagadorn and Sara Del Rey beat Generation Next of Austin Aries and Roderick Strong (ch) in 16:43 when they used KRS-ONE on Strong to become the sixth champions. [****] [INTERMISSION] Nigel McGuinness is in his office and says he just saw the footage of the incident with OI4K, the Briscoes, Steen and Generico. Nigel says that nothing can be done immediately, since the Briscoes are challenging the Kings of Wrestling for the ROH World Tag Team Championship in Philadelphia at Best in the World, but Nigel says he can make a match with Steen and Generico taking on Moxley and Callihan with the Crists banned from the building! [INTERMISSION] Truth Martini is in the locker room. Truth says that while things didn't go as planned in the tag match tonight, he has the golden ticket because Tommaso Ciampa has a ROH World Championship match in New York. Just then, you hear Maria and Mike Bennett arguing. Maria tells Mike that it's bad enough that he can't win matches, but to lose matches because he can't stop looking at those other skanks is unacceptable. Maria tells Bennett that they're finished and leaves the locker room. Bennett looks at Truth and then goes after Maria. [INTERMISSION] Austin Aries and Roderick Strong are in the back. Rich Swann brings Roderick an ice pack for his neck and Roderick says that tonight was just a setback and that Generation Next would get their tag titles back, be it Aries and Strong or Swann and Fox. Aries says that this is the most cohesive unit in ROH because they don't need to cheat or rely on each other to win. They're a group when they need to be, but they can also stand alone, just like Adam Cole is going to do tonight when he faces Samoa Joe. 7.) ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: AJ Styles (ch) vs. Christopher Daniels went to a time limit draw at 30:00. Both men used all three rope breaks and as the time expired, Styles had Daniels locked in a Calf Killer. Daniels refused to shake AJ's hand after the match and said he wanted five more minutes. ROH matchmaker Nigel McGuinness made his way out and said that he wouldn't sanction five more minutes since the advantage was clearly AJ's at the end of the time limit. [****] 8.) Fight Without Honor: Adam Cole beat Samoa Joe in 17:59 with the Florida Key through two steel chairs. [****3/4] 9.) ROH World Championship: Bryan Danielson (ch) beat Ricochet in 27:15 with Cattle Mutilation. [****1/2] [POST MATCH] Adam Cole runs in and lays Bryan out with the ROH World Championship. Cole says all this talk about a major main event for Glory By Honor V has fans all over the world talking and everyone has their hopes up thinking it's some big outside force coming in to challenge for the title...but it's not. Cole announces that he's cashing in his Survival of the Fittest title shot at Glory By Honor V against Danielson and says he's going to slay the Dragon. Kyle O'Reilly sneaks in and attacks Cole, leading to a pull apart brawl. Cole scurries up the ramp and tells O'Reilly that they're finished as we go to... [POST SHOW] Davey Richards, who is walking to his car, bandaged up from the attack from Matt Tremont earlier in the night. Richards says that he has 13 stitches in his face and they're all because of Tremont but it's no big deal, because Richards is going to tear his head off in Philadelphia. Richards gets in his car as the DVD fades to black.

Bryan Danielson faces the biggest test of his entire career in one of the greatest of all time, the Kings meet the Briscoes, Adam Cole takes on KO, Steen and Generico get the Killers and Richards promises to maim Tremont in Philly!Five defenses in, Bryan Danielson is on his way to amassing the most impressive ROH World Championship reign ever, with wins over Davey Richards, Drake Younger, Jigsaw, Michael Elgin and most recently, Ricochet. However, at "Best in the World", Bryan Danielson takes on a challenge unlike anything he's ever faced before: "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Savage, who debuted in ROH back at "Unity II: Saturday Night's Main Event", defeated then-champion Samoa Joe in his last ROH outing. Savage tells ROHWrestling.com that he is looking forward to finding out what the new champion is made of, and more importantly, leaving Philly with the gold! The Kings of Wrestling ended the ROH World Tag Team Championship reign of Generation Next at Death Before Dishonor V, while the Briscoes had a no-contest with OI4K earlier in the show. Both teams have wrestled each other a number of times all over the world and in Philadelphia they meet again, this time for the ROH World Tag Team Championship! Adam Cole turned on Kyle O'Reilly at Final Battle IV and attempted to end Kyle's career at the Fourth Anniversary Show. Cole then eliminated O'Reilly to win Survival of the Fittest and O'Reilly disappeared from ROH. Kyle returned to Ring of Honor at Death Before Dishonor V, attacking his former friend and sending him running up the ramp. Nigel McGuinness tells ROHWrestling.com that he's sick of these kinds of brawls and he wants issued settled in the ring and at "Best in the World", Future Shock will collide once again! At Final Battle IV, OI4K attacked Steen and Generico and since then have been entangled in a feud with them as well as anyone else who stepped in the crossfire. Steen and Generico were briefly sidelined after their match with Moxley and Callihan in Detroit but in Philadelphia, the two teams will meet again but with Jake and Dave Crist banned from the building! Matt Tremont took a fork to Davey Richards' face at Death Before Dishonor V in Vorhees, leaving Richards with a gash that required 13 stitches in his face to close. Styles vs. Edwards II for the Pure Title, Joe finds a partner to take on Bad Influence and a huge six man scramble signed for Philadelphia! At the Fourth Anniversary Show, AJ Styles defeated Eddie Edwards to win the vacant ROH Pure Wrestling Championship. Since then, Styles has successfully defended against Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels. In Philly, Styles looks to repeat his success from the Fourth Anniversary Show as he defends the Pure Championship against "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards! At Death Before Dishonor V, The Kings of Wrestling defeated Austin Aries and Roderick Strong to become the ROH World Tag Team Champions. Aries and Strong have vowed to get their championships back and the road to those belts goes through the House of Truth of Mike Bennett and Tommaso Ciampa. We saw Maria walk out on Mike Bennett after his loss at Death Before Dishonor V, will Bennett be able to regroup for the better of the HoT? Samoa Joe was Christopher Daniels' first opponent in ROH and despite defeating Daniels, would not receive a handshake after the match. Joe has been vocal about those who choose to disrespect the Code of Honor and has demanded another match with Daniels. In Philadelphia, Joe teams up with a man he has done battle with on three occasions, "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin, to take on Bad Influence of Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian! A special six man scramble match has been signed for this show as well, with Rich Swann, AR Fox, Matt Jackson, Dragon Gate's Johnny Gargano and CZW's Alex Colon squaring off in a battle of some of the top high flyers in pro wrestling today! Card #46: "Best in the World": Philadelphia, PA:[PRESHOW] Bryan Danielson is at the ROH Dojo. He says that tonight is the biggest ROH World Championship match ever because the belt is being put on the line against a man who is a bonafide Hall of Famer: Randy Savage. Danielson recalls watching Savage as a kid and says that it's an honor to share the ring with such a legend, but tonight he was going to make the "Macho Man" tap out. [PRESHOW] Kyle O'Reilly is in a gym in Philadelphia. Kyle talks about the year long run Future Shock had with the tag titles, but says that's all over because Adam Cole decided to get selfish. Kyle calls Cole a coward and says that he doesn't stand for honor or respect and that tonight, Kyle will end the year long unbeaten streak of Adam Cole. 1.) Johnny Gargano beat Rich Swann, Nick Jackson, AR Fox, Matt Jackson and Alex Colon in 5:15 when he used GargaNo Escape on Nick. [**] 2.) OI4K of Jon Moxley and Sami Callihan beat Kevin Steen and El Generico in 7:38 when Moxley used the One Hitter on Generico after a man in a hoodie interfered, throwing powder in Generico's eyes. Steen chased him out of the building as Generico was pinned. [**1/2] 3.) Samoa Joe and Michael Elgin beat Bad Influence of Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian when Elgin used the Elgin Bomb on Kazarian. Daniels challenged Joe to a match in Dayton after the match and the two had a brief pull apart. [***3/4] 4.) Davey Richards beat Matt Tremont with Tyler Black and Necro Butcher in 8:39 with the DR Driver. 5.) Generation Next of Austin Aries and Roderick Strong beat The House of Truth of Tommaso Ciampa and Mike Bennett with Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties when Strong used a Sick Kick on Bennett, who was distracted by Maria. Martini sent the Hotties up the ramp to deal with her after the match, but Bennett intervened and chased after Maria. [**] [INTERMISSION] Johnny Gargano is in the locker room and says that he liked the atmosphere of a Ring of Honor event, so much so that he wants to come back again but he doesn't want an opening match. Gargano says that he's a headliner and issued an open challenge to anyone in ROH for Manhattan Mayhem and said he'll put his Open the Dream Gate Championship on the line against them. [INTERMISSION] Mike Bennett is looking through the arena for Maria Kanellis. He sees Maria leaving the building and goes after her just as she gets into her car. Maria tells Mike that they're through and he can have the skanks with Truth Martini. She slaps Mike, who turns around into a Pounce from Willie Mack. Willie and Maria get in the car and leave together. [INTERMISSION] Nigel joins us from his office and says that he has huge news about ROH's return to Manhattan and he's not referring to the huge challenge sent out by Dragon Gate. Nigel says that the IWGP Jr. Tag Team Championship will be defended as Forever Hooligans put the gold on the line against Austin Aries and Roderick Strong in a rematch from "Motown Showdown"! Nigel also confirms that Dragon Gate will be sending several talents over for a special six man showcase match and that those wrestlers would be announced at a later time and finally announces that #AllEgo would be debuting on the show as well. 6.) ROH World Tag Team Championship: The Kings of Wrestling of Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli with Shane Hagadorn and Sara Del Rey (ch) beat Jay and Mark Briscoe in 17:56 when Hero used the hangman's elbow on Mark. Tyler Black gets his shot, Joe takes on Daniels one more time and Davey takes on the beasts in Dayton!Tyler Black was one of the men to sign an open contract sent out by Bryan Danielson for a shot at the Ring of Honor World Championship. Danielson's most recent defense was against professional wrestling legend "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Despite a successful defense, Danielson was attacked by Adam Cole after the match. The winner of this match will face Cole at Glory By Honor V in Indianapolis but the question is this: can Danielson focus on Black long enough to make it seven successful defenses or will Black advance to Glory By Honor V with the Championship? Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe have been at odds since Daniels' first night in Ring of Honor. At "Best in the World", the two met in a tag team match that saw Joe and Michael Elgin beat Daniels and Frankie Kazarian. After the match, Daniels once again refused to shake Joe's hand, instead challenging him to a match in Dayton! Can Daniels score that all important victory over the former ROH World Champion? Davey Richards tried to save his American Wolves tag team partner "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards from an attack by the Age of the Fall at "Best in the World", but Richards was left laying and Edwards was carried out by Necro Butcher and Matt Tremont. Since that night, nobody in ROH has heard from Edwards and Tyler Black maintains that his group has no clue where Edwards is. In Dayton, Richards takes on Age of the Fall's two heavy hitters all on his own. Can Davey gain retribution for his fallen tag team partner? Card #47: "No Way Out": Dayton, OH:ROH World Championship: Bryan Danielson (ch) vs. Tyler Black Samoa Joe vs. Christopher Daniels Davey Richards vs. The Age of the Fall of Necro Butcher and Matt Tremont Card #48: "Glory By Honor V": Indianapolis, IN:ROH World Championship: X (ch) vs. Adam Cole Card #49: "Manhattan Mayhem": Manhattan, NY:ROH World Championship: X (ch) vs. Tommaso Ciampa with Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties Open the Dream Gate Championship: Johnny Gargano (ch) vs. X Dragon Gate Showcase Six Man Tag Match: Ricochet , Harlem Bravado and Lancelot Bravado vs. Generation Next of Austin Aries, Rich Swann and AR Fox #AllEgo vs. X Card #50: "Final Battle V": Chicago, IL (iPPV):

Cole and Elgin battle, Styles looks to pick up another defense against Lethal, The Kings face the Killers, Generation Next take on two of the top teams in ROH and Steen and Generico continue their search for retribution in Dayton! The Kings of Wrestling look to be on quite a roll since enlisting the services of Shane Hagadorn and Sara Del Rey but in Dayton, they take on two men who are not only from the southwestern Ohio scene, but they're quite familiar with the wrestling scene in Dayton-Cincinnati area. Moxley and Callihan were trained by Les Thatcher and Cody Hawk at the HWA Academy and were two of the final major stars that school would produce. Much like Chris Hero, they left the Dayton-Cincinnati area and became international stars but all three of them will return to their old stomping ground to do battle for the ROH World Tag Team Championship this weekend! As we're sure you've heard, Adam Cole has not suffered defeat in Ring of Honor in over a year. This year, Cole has beaten Kyle O'Reilly three times, won Survival of the Fittest, pinned Samoa Joe, pinned AJ Styles twice and will challenge for the ROH World Championship in Indianapolis at Glory By Honor V. A man who is clawing his way back to ROH title contention is "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin. Elgin's last win in singles competition in ROH was at Survival of the Fittest earlier this year. Can he turn his fortunes around by knocking off the #1 contender to the ROH World Championship? AJ Styles has successfully defended the ROH Pure Wrestling Championship against Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels and "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards. In Dayton, he takes on another top level challenger when he defends the gold against Jay Lethal! Generation Next of Roderick Strong and Austin Aries were poised to be a dominant force in ROH's tag team division until their reign was cut short by the Kings of Wrestling. On their way back to the top, they will do battle with The Young Bucks in Dayton! Also in action will be Generation Next's Rich Swann and AR Fox as they take on Jay and Mark Briscoe! This is a position Generation Next wants to be in as with an impressive win here, either combination could advance to a tag title match! The war with Steen, Generico and OI4K has waged for nearly a year now with no real end in sight. In Dayton, the hometown team of Jake and Dave Crist will take on Steen and Generico. Steen has begged ROH officials to make this a no disqualification match but ROH officials have declined his request, stating that this war needs to be settled in a wrestling match. We'll see how well that holds up this weekend in Dayton! Card #47: "No Way Out": Dayton, OH:ROH World Championship: Bryan Danielson (ch) vs. Tyler Black ROH World Tag Team Championship: The Kings of Wrestling of Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli with Shane Hagadorn and Sara Del Rey (ch) vs. OI4K of Jon Moxley and Sami Callihan ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: AJ Styles (ch) vs. Jay Lethal Samoa Joe vs. Christopher Daniels Michael Elgin vs. Adam Cole Davey Richards vs. The Age of the Fall of Necro Butcher and Matt Tremont Generation Next of Austin Aries and Roderick Strong vs. The Young Bucks of Nick and Matt Jackson Kevin Steen and El Generico vs. OI4K of Jake and Dave Crist Jay and Mark Briscoe vs. Generation Next of Rich Swann and AR Fox Card #48: "Glory By Honor V": Indianapolis, IN:ROH World Championship: X (ch) vs. Adam Cole Card #49: "Manhattan Mayhem": Manhattan, NY:ROH World Championship: X (ch) vs. Tommaso Ciampa with Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties Open the Dream Gate Championship: Johnny Gargano (ch) vs. X Dragon Gate Showcase Six Man Tag Match: Ricochet , Harlem Bravado and Lancelot Bravado vs. Generation Next of Austin Aries, Rich Swann and AR Fox #AllEgo vs. X Card #50: "Final Battle V": Chicago, IL (iPPV):

Card #47: "No Way Out": Dayton, OH:
[PRESHOW] Tyler Black says that tonight, his plan comes to fruition. The power in ROH is with the ROH World Champion and Bryan Danielson can no longer pull the strings. Black says his men will take care of Davey Richards and that Eddie Edwards will soon be among their ranks after they showed him the light.
1.) Davey Richards beat The Age of the Fall of Necro Butcher and Matt Tremont via disqualification in 5:43 when Necro hit Richards with a chair. Post-match, Eddie Edwards ran in with a chair of his own and made the save. [*1/4] 2.) Generation Next of Rich Swann and AR Fox beat Jay and Mark Briscoe in 4:26 when Fox used Lo Mein Pain on Mark. [*1/2] 3.) Generation Next of Austin Aries and Roderick Strong beat The Young Bucks of Nick and Matt Jackson in 13:50 when Strong used a Sick Kick on Matt. [***1/4] 4.) Kevin Steen and El Generico beat OI4K of Jake and Dave Crist via disqualification in 6:00 when Dave threw a fireball at Steen. [*1/2] 5.) ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: AJ Styles (ch) beat Jay Lethal in 16:44 with the Styles Clash. Lethal used all three rope breaks, Styles used two. [***]
[INTERMISSION] Mike Bennett is at home. He says that he joined the House of Truth because he thought it would take him to the next level but it's only made things worse. His girl left him and she's with Willie Mack. Bennett says he doesn't want the House of Truth anymore, but he does want Willie Mack at Glory By Honor V. [INTERMISSION] Kevin Steen is in the hospital. His face is bandaged from the fireball thrown at him by Dave Crist. Steen says that he doesn't know how bad the burn is or how long it will take to heal, but the Irish Airborne and their buddies Moxley and Callihan won't get away with this. Steen says that he hates OI4K and he's going to send them all packing from Ring of Honor. [INTERMISSION] Nigel McGuinness is in his office and apologies for not taking us back to the action immediately but he has to announce that ROH has found a challenger for Johnny Gargano's Open the Dream Gate Championship at Manhattan Mayhem and that challenger is Roderick Strong!
6.) Christopher Daniels beat Samoa Joe in 14:32 with the Angel's Wings. Daniels slapped Joe across the face after the match, leading to a short pull apart that AJ Styles attempted to break up. [***] 7.) Adam Cole beat Michael Elgin in 24:16 with the Panama Sunrise. [***1/4] 8.) ROH World Tag Team Championship: The Kings of Wrestling of Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli with Shane Hagadorn and Sara Del Rey (ch) beat OI4K of Jon Moxley and Sami Callihan in 27:56 when they used KRS-ONE on Callihan. Jake and Dave Crist attacked KOW after the match but Steen and Generico made the save. [****] 9.) ROH World Championship: Bryan Danielson (ch) beat Tyler Black in 36:49 with Cattle Mutilation. [****1/4]
[POST MATCH] Adam Cole attacked Danielson again, hitting him with the ROH World Championship. Danielson attempted to get up, but Cole blew him a kiss and hit him with a superkick to the back of the head. Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish hit the ring and ran Cole off. O'Reilly tells Cole that should he succeed against Danielson, his reign as champion would be short lived.
[POST SHOW] Nigel McGuinness is leaving the building when approached by the cameras. He says that he's made his ruling on the American Wolves vs. Age of the Fall situation and the two teams will meet at Glory By Honor V and that Tyler Black would face Kyle O'Reilly in a special challenge match. [POST SHOW] AJ Styles approaches Christopher Daniels in the locker room. Styles says that Daniels and Joe are two of his best friends and though those two don't usually get along, the fact is that Daniels needs to follow the Code of Honor. Daniels says that Joe doesn't respect ROH so he doesn't respect Joe. Joe walks in and says that Daniels needs to remember who beat him in his ROH debut. The two have a staredown with AJ in the background as the DVD fades to black.
(Promoter's note: talk about an underwhelming card! practically the entire first half of the show underdelivered and a decent chunk of the second half did as well! I suppose not every show can be a home run, but this year's shows have been phenomenal for the most part)
