I had previously begun posting this diary here, but as I plunged further into the season I realized that the story lines were all over the place, so I went back and cut some stuff, added some stuff, and replayed some stuff.
So, thus begins the streamlined reboot of my Chikara-verse. Picking up the story lines from the end of Season 10, and doing my best to resolve them before moving on.
Anyway, there are a few things you need too know before we get started.
In this world:
-Johnny Gargano was not injured in Evolve and was available from the beginning of the season.
-Sugar Dunkerton did not take time away from Chikara
-3.0 of Shane Matthews and Scott Parker were not available for the first few shows of the season due to an injury.
-Jakob Hammermeier was also not available. (Cards for 3.0 and Hammermeier were not available when I began playing the season)
-Ophidian's defeat of Hieracon happened at the third night of Joshimania in this world, instead of at The Thirteenth Hat.
-Saturyne made her appearance at Joshimania, but has been sent back to the Wrestle Factory for more seasoning.
-Mr. Touchdown unfortunately never debuted in this world, and thus the hype videos never played.
Here is the schedule for the season: (When this was made, Trios was not announced and shows had only been named up to Anniversario)
-The Thirteenth Hat- (January)
-A Death Worse Than Fate-(February) -Caught in the Spider's Den-(February)
-Green Ice-(March) -It's How You Play the Game-(March)
-I'll Be a Mummy's Uncle-(April)
-Hot Off the Griddle- (April) -The Contaminated Cowl(April)
-Aniversario: A Horse of Another Color-(May) -Aniversario: The Ogg and I-(May)
King of Trios (3 shows)(June)
Chikarasaurus Rex: True or False Face (July)
A Piece of the Action (August) The Bloody Tower (August)
Better Luck Next Time (September) Death in Slow Motion (September)
The Zodiac Crimes (October) The Cibernetico Rises (October)
The Greatest Mother of Them All (November)
The champions and points going into Season 11 are as follows:
_______

CHIKARA EVENT CENTER: THE SEASON 11 PREMIERE THE THIRTEENTH HAT In a match up pitting student against teacher, Green Ant challenges "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush. The two met previously with Quack picking up the win. Green Ant has come quite a long way since that time, and wants another chance. The "Delicious Dairy Deviants" Los Ice Creams look to acquire their second point toward title contention, as they take on the returning Darin Corbin and Ryan Cruz, The North Star Express. The Batiri's Kobald, looks to prove that he is no laughing matter when he steps into the ring against, Gen 1 Chikara original, Jigsaw. In a match up between two of the largest men in Chikara, "The Big Rig" Brodie Lee steps into the ring against "The Nightmare Warrior" Hallowicked. In tag team action, with points toward title contention in play, two teams with zero points look to get themselves on the board. Fire and Soldier Ant of The Colony will square off with Obariyon and Kodama, The Batiri. Last season he destroyed his long time friend Amasis, and then took out his other team mate, Hieracon. Now Ophidian looks to begin Season 11 the way he ended Season 10, by destroying whatever is in his way. He finds himself against "The Leader of the Band" Archibald Peck, who is looking to show the love of his life, Veronica that he is not a loser. Former members of the now defunct BDK will collide as "The Queen of Wrestling" Sara Del Rey takes on Tim Donst. Del Rey is looking to keep her momentum from Season 10 rolling, but Donst is, as always looking to prove that he is "The Man." In Trios action, Johnny Gargano, Chuck Taylor, and "The Winged Ring Warrior" Icarus are going to take on their former stablemate, "The Warrior from Afar" Gran Akuma, and his chosen team mates Dasher Hatfield and Sugar Dunkerton, The Throwbacks! Also, Ultramantis Black has promised that he will be on hand with the Eye of Tyr and will free Delirious from the control he has been under for the last several years.

-CHIKARA PRESENTS- -THE SEASON 11 PREMIERE- -THE THIRTEENTH HAT- At the beginning of the show, Ultramantis Black came to the ring and took the microphone. He called for Delirious, who after much coercion came to the ring. Mantis then produced the Eye of Tyr and declared Delirious to be free from it's control. Delirious shook his head, as if clearing cobwebs and then looked at Mantis, before snapping and leveling Mantis with a lariat. Delirious pulled the Eye of Tyr from the hand of the fallen Mantis and ran out of the arena. 1) In the opening match of the evening, Mike Quackenbush and Green Ant had a technical masterpiece, exchanging holds, strikes, and moves until both men were worn down. The end came when Quackenbush nailed Quackendriver III and pinned Green Ant. After the encounter, both men shook hands. Green Ant could be heard asking for a future rematch, which Quack was quick to grant. 2) In tag team action, Los Ice Creams defeated the North Star Express, after Darin Corbin was hit not once, but twice with El Asesino. Los Ice Creams now have two points toward Campeones De Parejas contention. 3) Jigsaw versus Kobald was up next, and as most expected, Jigsaw took control quickly. However, Kobald put up more fight than most fans, and especially Jigsaw expected, nailing Jig with a series of Spears, before missing one and eating a brutal superkick. Jigsaw followed up with the Leap of Faith for the three count. 4) Hallowicked never stood a chance as Brodie Lee hit the ring fighting, before 'Wicked ever knew what him, Brodie nailed three Big Boot's in a row, and got the win. Lee then took a microphone and informed Eddie Kingston that he was looking at the man who would take the Grand Championship away from him. 5) In the first match back after intermission, The Colony and The Batiri went to war. Back and forth action for nearly 25 minutes, every man in the match kicking out of one another's finishing maneauvers, before finally Obariyon nailed Fire Ant with the Argentine Enzu Knee Strike and got the pinfall while Soldier Ant and Kodama brawled on the floor. The Batiri has 1 point toward title contention. 6) Ophidian hit the ring next flashing the mask of Amasis at the fans who boo'ed him soundly. Archibald Peck was the defacto hero in this one, due to the fans hatred of the new attitude of Ophidian. It did him no good however, as the agressive Osirian was all over Peck, forcing him to tap to the Death Grip after a hellacious beating. Before his match, Tim Donst came to the ring and announced that Jakob Hammermeir had been sent back to the BDK Wrestle Factory to improve his skills and become worthy of being in the presence of Tim Donst. He said that Aries had run scared back to Switzerland, and he hadn't seen the loser Tursas since High Noon. He then declared himself the leader and last survivor of the Bruderschaft De Kreuzes, before calling out "that filthy defector" Sara Del Rey. 7) Del Rey and Donst was a back and forth battle, with both wrestlers taking the advantage at different times. Donst controlled a good portion of the match using Rudo tactics behind referee Jon Barber's back, but the tide began to turn when Sara caught Donst with a brutal axe kick when he was attempting a backdrop. Sara would go o n the offensive for some time, but was unfortunately unable to put Donst away before the time limit expired. 8) In Trios action, FIST took on the recently returned Gran Akuma and his partners Dasher Hatfield and Sugar Dunkerton, The Throwbacks. The end of this one came with a flurry of action. Sugar and Dasher nailed Chuck Taylor with the Grand Slam Dunk, but Taylor managed to roll out of the ring. Gargano nailed Sugar with a slingshot spear, and followed it by leveling Dasher with the Hurts Donut. Akuma hit the ring and obliterated Gargano with the Yoshi Tonic, but then Icarus snuck into the ring, rocked Akuma with a spear and pinned him with his feet on the ropes and a handful of tights. Akuma took the microphone and challenged Icarus to a one on one encounter, but Icarus said he wouldn't step into the ring with Akuma again until Akuma proved himself by defeating both Gargano and Taylor in singles competition. Taylor and Gargano looked at Icarus like he'd just thrown them under a bus as the three went backstage. _______ Grand Champion - Eddie Kingston def. Mike Quackenbush ("High Noon") _______ Campeones De Parejas - Chuck Taylor/Johnny Gargano def. Mike Quackenbush & Jigsaw ("Martyr Yourself to Caution") def. -CHIKARA PRESENTS- -THE 2ND SHOW OF SEASON 11- -A DEATH WORSE THAN FATE- 1) In the opening contest of the evening The Batiri took on The Throwbacks in an all out war. In the opening minutes of the contest, Kodama was nailed with the Grandslam Dunk not once, but twice. Obariyon managed twice to make the save. Finally Kodama got an opening, and made the tag. Obariyon came in like a house of fire, hitting Dasher Hatfield with the Flying DDT and nearly getting the win until a timely save from Sugar. Dasher eventually made the hot tag, and Obariyon ate his own Grandslam Dunk leading to the win. The Throwbacks have 1 Point.Ultramantis Black and Hallowicked came to the ring next. Mantis said he had not seen Delirious since the events of The Thirteenth Hat despite every effort to locate him. He pleaded that if Delirious could hear him, to please come to him so that things could be set straight. After waiting for and not getting Delirious, Mantis continued saying that tomorrow night he and Hallowicked would be cashing their three points in for a shot at the Campeones De Parejas. But tonight, they would be in Trios action against The Colony, and their partner would be the returning Frightmare! Frightmare came to the ring to a great reaction from the crowd, before The Spectral Envoy headed backstage. 2) In the first match of the Akuma versus FIST series set forth by Icarus, Akuma took on Chuck Taylor. The match started hot and heavy with both men exchanging strikes and holds. Akuma tried for a 'rana at one point and was hit with a vicious turnbuckle powerbomb. Taylor followed it up with the Omega Driver, but Akuma managed to lift his shoulder at two. Akuma rolled out of the ring and was crushed by a somersault senton to the floor by Chuckie T. Taylor threw Akuma back into the ring and nailed him with him a second Awful Waffle, but again Akuma kicked out. With his second wind flowing, Akuma battered Taylor with a series of kicks, and dropped him with a Falcon Arrow. Akuma then thought he had the match won when he nailed the Yoshi Tonic, but Taylor got his foot across the bottom rope. Akuma picked him up to go for the kill, but Chuck reversed a Tombstone facebuster, nailed Sole Food, and a third Omega Driver to pick up the win much to the shock of the crowd in attendance. 3) Sara Del Rey took on Kobald of The Batiri and made short work of him. She started with a series of chops, dropped him with a Piledriver, and then applied the Royal Butterfly for the victory. Sara took the microphone and declared her intentions to annihalate anyone in her path until she is granted a shot at the Grand Championship. 4) In tag team action, the returning Young Bucks took on Los Ice Creams. A back and forth battle started early with Nick Jackson being nailed with a Sprinkle Bomb followed by El Asesino, only to be saved by his brother Matt. Matt then fared no better eating El Asesino only to be saved by Nick. Then the Bucks got mad and started dazzling Los Ice Creams with the high flying and double teaming they are famous for. Hijo Del Ice Cream survived More Bang For Your Buck once with help from his partner, but the second time the Bucks hit it, it was all over for Los Ice Creams. The Young Bucks have 1 Point.Director of Fun Wink Vavasseur took to the ring after Intermission and announced that the Four Corners main event of tonight's show, which consists of the winners of the singles matches from the last show, will be the first person to face Eddie Kingston for the Chikara Grand Championship at "Green Ice" in March. 5) El Generico and Tim Donst met for the first time ever, and it didn't go so well for Donst. Generico took control early and never let up, Donst got a few instances of offense in, but Generico drilled him with the Brainbustah, followed by a 450 Splash and picked up the win. 6) The Colony and The Spectral Envoy went at it in Trios action. Mantis and Green Ant started out fast and furious, with everyone tagging in and out of the match. The end began when Frightmare destroyed Soldier Ant with a suicide dive, which brought Mantis and Fire Ant into the ring. Mantis went for a move, but was rolled into a small package by Fire Ant. Hallowicked made the save, and all six men hit the ring and started brawling. In the chaos, Fire Ant dropped Mantis with the Beach Break, while Green and Soldier tossed 'Wicked and Frightmare from the ring. All three ants hit Black with The Ant Hill and Fire Ant covered him for the 1,2,3. 7) FIST of Icarus and Johnny Gargano take on Grand Champion Eddie Kingston and his partner Colt Cabana in tag team action. Icarus started the match off with Colt and took the early advantage. As the match continued, Icarus and Gargano worked as a well oiled unit, while the seriousness of Kingston and the shenanigans of Cabana mixed like oil and water. The end came when Gargano dropkicked Eddie Kingston to the floor and nailed him with a plancha. Icarus and Colt entered the ring, Colt went for a running clothesline, Icarus ducked the clothesline, kicked Colt in the gut on the rebound and hit the Wings of Icarus for the win. Eddie Kingston angrily left ringside, not checking on his fallen partner. Icarus and Johnny Gargano have 2 Points.8) In the Main Event of the evening, Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw, Ophidian, and Brodie Lee competed in a four corners elimination match with the winner getting a shot at Eddie Kingston and the Chikara Grand Championship. Brodie Lee and Jigsaw started the match, and Jigsaw attacked the big man with a fury that shocked the much larger Lee. All four men came in and out of the ring, until Ophidian began dominating everyone involved, eventually forcing Jigsaw to tap out to his Death Grip. Elimination 1: Jigsaw by Ophidian with the Death Grip. Brodie Lee hit the ring immediately and tried to get the jump on Ophidian, but the snake was ready and got the first shots in. Ophidian would dazzle Brody with his high flying, but a super kick from The Big Rig would rock Ophidian, and then two consecutive Big Boots would bring an end to his evening. Elimination 2: Ophidian by Brodie Lee after the Big Boot Mike Quackenbush then hit the ring and he and Brodie engaged in a series of reversals, which ended when Quackenbush went for a palm strike, which Brodie ducked and nailed Quack with the Big Boot for the three and the win. Elimination 3: Mike Quackenbush by Brodie Lee with the Big Boot Brodie Lee celebrated his victory by standing on the top turnbuckle and making the motion of a belt around his waist. A still angry Eddie Kingston came out of the entrance way being restrained by all of the referee's in Chikara's employ. _______ Grand Champion - Eddie Kingston def. -CHIKARA PRESENTS- -THE 3RD SHOW OF SEASON 11- -CAUGHT IN THE SPIDER'S DEN- As Gavin Loudspeaker was introducing himself to the crowd to start the show, Gran Akuma stormed ringside and tore the microphone from Gavin's hands. Akuma admitted that even though he gave everything he had, that last night Chuck Taylor was the better man. But he hadn't come back from his exile to face Taylor or Gargano, he came back for Icarus. At this point Icarus came from the back with a smug smile on his face, and told Akuma that it was too bad that he lost last night, because now he would never have a shot at Icarus. Akuma stared at Icarus and after long moments spoke. "Icarus, fight me tonight, and if I lose, I will never show my face in Chikara again." With a grin a mile wide, Icarus accepted the challenge! 1) In the opening contest of the evening, the rubber match between Colt Cabana and Archibald Peck began hot and heavy, with Peck taking the early advantage, until missing a snap leg drop. Cabana then took charge and never looked back, firing off the bionic elbow, Eat Dafeat, and a moonsault, before finishing Peck with the Colt .45 2) The second match of the night was a battle between two teams each with one point, as The Throwbacks took on The Young Bucks. Dasher Hatfield blasted Matt Jackson with a running clothesline right off the bat which staggered the older Young Buck. Dasher headed up top and got a two count off a flying cross body. Dasher continued his onslaught nailing Matt with the Grandslam. Nick Jackson made the save, but was quickly tossed from the ring by Sugar Dunkerton. Dasher and Sugar then hit the Grandslam Dunk for the three count. The fans in attendance seemed a bit taken back by the aggressive nature of The Throwbacks. The Throwbacks have 2 Points.Ophidian came to the ring next, and gloated over the destruction of his Osirian Portal team mate Amasis and the pretender, Hieracon. He said that he would forge a path of destruction across Chikara until he could lay the gleaming gold of the Grand Championship at the shrine of Osiris himself. He then said his path would continue tonight, if any man or beast in the back had the gutssss to take him on. The music of Frightmare hit, leading to the next match..... 3) Ophidian jumped Frightmare on his way in, blasting him in the head with a kick before he could get into the ring. He quickly locked in the Death Grip and held on as Frightmare clawed his way across the ring and to the ropes, holding on until the four count. Another vicious kick to the head would rock Frightmare before Ophidian finished him off with the Duat Driver. After the bell rang, Ophidian locked in the Death Grip again, until Hallowicked and Ultramantis Black ran in for the save. In a DVD exclusive interview, The Throwbacks commented on the manner in which they won their earlier match. They said that while they enjoy having fun in their matches, and entertaining the fans, they were not going to let The Young Bucks get one up on them. Because The Throwbacks are here for every show, while the Bucks come and go as they please and think they are bigger than Chikara....while Dasher and Sugar, they ARE Chikara! 4) Brodie Lee and Green Ant was up next. Brodie made his way to the ring first, then the music of Green Ant hit. Green Ant stepped out from behind the curtain and made it almost to the ring before Brodie dove out of the ring onto him. Brodie was quickly back to his feet and dragging Green Ant to his. A series of wicked forearm shots rocked Green Ant, and Brodie tossed him into the ring. Brodie paced as he waited for the Ant to get to his feet, and when he did, a Big Boot nearly took his head off. Brodie got the three count and began yelling for Kingston. Eddie hit the ring, and began to brawl with Brodie until security, referees, and Wrestle Factory students hit the ring to pull them apart. A brief intermission followed the chaos, and then Director of Fun Wink Vavaseur came to the ring to announce that at the upcoming double shot weekend, the stars of Dragon Gate would be appearing in Chikara. He also announced that he had approved the match between Icarus and Gran Akuma, and that if Akuma lost, he would be forced to leave Chikara. 5) Three way tag action as we come back from intermission as QuackSaw takes on The Batiri and The Colony. Hot and heavy action right from the start, with frequent tags all around. Ants Go Marching almost took out Kodama early, but Obariyon made the save. Jigsaw came in like a man possessed as he fought everyone from the opposing teams, before tagging in Quack who nearly tapped Fire Ant with the Chikara Special. The first elimination came at around the fifteen minute mark when Soldier Ant got the pin on Obariyon following Ants Go Marching. The Batiri have been eliminated.Another five minutes of action between the two remaining teams, Soldier Ant and Quack exchanged holds, until Quack got the upper hand, knocking Soldier Ant out of the ring with a palm strike. Fire Ant came in and nailed Quackenbush with a reverse TKO, that caused Quack to roll out of the ring. Jigsaw hit the ring and went for a superkick, which was ducked by Fire Ant who then plowed Jigsaw with the burning hammer, before finishing him off with The Beach Break. Your winners are The Colony. The Colony have 2 Points.6) Icarus and Gran Akuma made their way to the ring, but were followed out by Wink Vavaseur who announced two more stipulations for this match. One, should anyone in the locker room interfere, they will be immediately terminated from Chikara, and two, the match will be contested with no count outs or disqualifications. Gran Akuma started the match by blistering Icarus with a series of kicks, then hooking him in a submission forcing Icarus to crawl for the ropes. A dropkick and a Falcon Arrow resulted in a two count for Akuma, who then nailed Icarus with Yoshi Tonic for two and nine tenths. Akuma then scaled the ropes to attempt a moonsault, but Icarus rolled out of the way. Icarus recovered first, and waited for Akuma dropping him throat first onto the top rope as soon as he stood up. The Wings of Icarus followed but only managed to get a two count. Icarus then drilled Akuma with the Blu-Ray but again, Akuma got his shoulder up just before the three. Akuma rolled to the floor on instinct, but Icarus followed him and tossed him into the ringpost before throwing him back in the ring and nailing a second Wings of Icarus....but Akuma kicked out!! Icarus tossed Akuma to the floor, smashed his head into the timekeepers table and tossed him back in the ring for a Pedigree. Icarus drug Akuma back to his feet and slapped on a sleeper hold, only to be met with a stomp to the foot, and a kick to the midsection. A series of kicks to the body and head followed, and another Yoshi Tonic. One Two...NO!! Akuma pulls the limp form of Icarus up from the mat and hits him with a Tombstone Facebuster, followed by another Yoshi Tonic for the 1,2,3. 7) In a rematch from the season ten premiere, El Generico took on Chikara Grand Champion, Eddie Kingston. The two shook hands before the action started, the match started with both men exchanging holds and strikes until Kingston took the early advantage, falling Generico with a hammerlock takedown, choking him with his boot, and nailing a big lariat. Kingston brought Generico back to his feet and went for a belly to back suplex, but was countered with a crossbody, which Kingston also reversed and slammed Generico to the mat. Kingston went for a series of punches, but Generico fought back with strikes of his own, got Kingston in the corner and blasted him with a yakuza kick. Kingston kicked out at one and rolled out of the ring. Generico made the mistake of following "The War King" to the floor, where a brawl ensued that Kingston won. Kingston tossed Generico back into the ring and blasted him with the Sliding D, Generico kicked out at two, and was met with a backdrop driver forhis troubles. Generico fought his way back to his feet but was hit with the Backfist to the Future for the three count. 8) In the main event of the evening, Chuck Taylor and Johnny Gargano of FIST defended the Campeones De Parejas against Ultramantis Black and Hallowicked of the Spectral Envoy. The first fall started with Hallowicked and Taylor, with Hallowicked quickly taking the advantage over Taylor. Wicked continued to dominate until nailing Taylor with an enzuigiri, which knocked him into his own corner and allowed him to tag Gargano. Gargano came in quickly and stunned Wicked with a sunset flip, Wicked got his shoulder up at two, and rolled out of the ring. Ultramantis came in and laid into Gargano with mongolian chops, dropped him with an Argentinian Facebuster, and then came off the top rope with a flying lariat. Mantis then covered a stunned Gargano for a three count and the first fall!! Chuck Taylor jumped Ultramantis as the bell rang signalling the second fall, and nailed him with a jumping big boot, followed by a somersault dive. Taylor then tricked referee Bryce Remsburg into thinking Hallowicked was trying to enter the ring, while Bryce was turned around, Taylor low blowed Mantis and then hit him with the Omega Driver. FIST takes the second fall, and we are tied. The third fall was all Hallowicked and Taylor as they exchanged strikes to start the fall. Taylor countered a step-up frankensteiner into a cross crab, which forced Hallowicked to make the long crawl to the ropes. Wicked got up favoring the knee and was hit almost immediately with an Awful Waffle, but managed to kick out at two. An angry Taylor pulled out the grenade, stuffed it into his elbow pad and dropped the big elbow. Meanwhile on the outside, Gargano snuck around the ring and yanked Mantis off the apron, and posted him. Inside the ring, Hallowicked tried to mount the comeback with a swinging neckbreaker and an enzuigir, but Taylor managed to duck it, and nail Hallowicked with sole food. Taylor quickly locked the Cross Crab back in, 'Wicked clawed his way toward the ropes, but with Mantis laid out on the floor, and the ropes just out of reach, Hallowicked had no choice but to tap. FIST of Chuck Taylor and Johnny Gargano have made their fourth successful defense of the Campeones De Parejas._______ Grand Champion - Eddie Kingston def. -CHIKARA PRESENTS- -THE FOURTH SHOW OF SEASON 11- -GREEN ICE- The night kicks off with Director of Fun, Wink Vavaseur heading to the ring and taking a microphone. He announced that Chikara and Ring of Honor would be co-promoting an event called Synergy. Chikara's portion of the event will be a show called "Hot Off The Griddle." He then announced that the main event of the show would break Chikara tradition. That due to the unique nature of the event, a match that normally happens only one time a year would be allowed to take place twice. Ladies and Gentleman that main event of the Chikara portion of "Synergy" will see the wrestlers of Chikara and the wrestlers of Ring of Honor meet in a Torneo Cibernetico!! 1) The opening match of the evening featured FIST's Chuck Taylor taking on Kobald of The Batiri. As expected, shenanigans ensued including biting, low blows, imaginary hand grenades, brawling on the floor, and other ridiculousness. Kobald got multiple two counts but was never able to keep Taylor down. After about six minutes, Taylor had enough and drilled Kobald with Sole Food followed by the Awful Waffle for the win. 2) Four way tag team action was up next with points toward title contention on the line. Kodama and Hallowicked started things off with the Batiri member taking the early advantage. He and Obariyon made quick tags and roughed up 'Wicked with double team moves. Hallowicked had too kick out of two near falls before finally turning the tide and making the tag to Jigsaw. Jig didn't fair much better against the Batiri, but after managing to escape the ring, Quack came in and rocked Kodama with a palm strike and locked in the Chikara Special. Obariyon made the save, and Kodama crawled over and tagged Darin Corbin. Corbin came in and attempted to work over Quack, but was immediately reversed and tied up by "The Man of a Thousand Holds." Corbin managed to escape the Lightning Lock and dove for the floor, Ryan Cruz hit the ring and drilled Quack with a vicious chop, then hit him not once, but twice with the BoomShakaLaka! Somehow Quack kicked out, and managed to tag Frightmare. Frightmare came in and nailed Cruz with the Fright Crusher. Cruz rolled out of the ring, and Corbin came rushing in. Frightmare nailed him with a dropkick, a Fright Crusher of his own and then Kneecolepsy for the 3 count. The North Star Express have been eliminated.Obariyon rushed into the ring but was met with a brutal superkick. Frightmare went up top and drilled Obariyon with a missile dropkick to the back of the head. Kneecolepsy followed, but Obariyon managed to kicked out at two. Hallowicked was tagged in and dropped Obariyon with Go 2 Sleepy Hollow, but Kodama made the save. Frightmare re-entered and tossed Kodama to the floor, then Wicked and Frightmare dropped Obariyon with The Headless Horseman for the fall. The Batiri have been eliminated.Jigsaw hit the ring and dropped Hallowicked with the Jig 'n' Tonic immediately, Frightmare barely managed to break up the pin at two and nine tenths. Jigsaw went for a double foot stomp, but Hallowicked rolled out of the way and totally out of the ring. Frightmare hit the ring and blasted Jigsaw with a tilt-a-whirl ddt. Quackenbush tried to enter the ring, but was cut off by Hallowicked on the floor. Frightmare nailed Jigsaw with a crucifix bomb for a two count, then hit Kneecolepsy for the final fall. Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw have been eliminated.Incoherence of Hallowicked and Frightmare are the winners, and have THREE POINTS!! 3) BxB Hulk and Icarus met in singles action. A hard hitting encounter that saw Hulk spend a good portion of the match dazzling the frustrated Icarus with his high flying offense. Icarus managed to get in plenty of his own, but in the end a springboard crescent kick from BxB Hulk left Icarus stunned enough for Hulk to score the three count. 4) Four way singles action up next as Sara Del Rey, Green Ant, Tim Donst, and Ophidian go to war. Donst and Del Rey start things off exchanging strikes and holds, Donst gets the advantage with a belly to belly suplex and follows it with a camel clutch. Sara tries to fight back, but Donst counters her every move and nails her with the SDT, but only gets two. Donst went to follow it up with a Donstitution, but Sara managed to counter and tag Green Ant. Ant went to work on Donst, but a dropkick sent Donst to the floor, and Ophidian came into the fray. Green Ant nailed Ophidian with a running dropkick and hooked him in the Torture Rack. Ophidian was able to counter and blast Green Ant in the back of the head with a big kick, then locked in the Death Grip. Ant made it to the ropes, and slid out of the ring. Tim Donst came in and tried to jump Ophidian from behind, but Ophidian turned and nailed Donst with a big back body drop. As Donst got to his feet, Ophidian hooked him and annihalated him with the Egyptian Destroyer. Luck on his side, Donst landed near the ropes and rolled out of the ring. Sara came back in and went for a clothesline, but the Osirian ducked it and caught her with a rolling reverse prawn hold. Sara kicked out at two. Ophidian then slapped on the Death Grip, and despite her best efforts, the ropes were too far away and Sara had no choice but to tap. Sara Del Rey has been eliminated.Green Ant came in and tried to catch Ophidian with a cross body, but Ophidian matrix'ed backwards and Green Ant crashed to the mat. Ophidian drug him back to his feet and nailed him with the Duat Driver. Ophidian tried to lock on the Gannosuke Clutch, but Green Ant countered and nailed the snake man with a dropkick and a series of forearm smashes. Ophidian raked the eyes and tagged out to Tim Donst. Donst went for a big chop, but Green Ant ducked it, hit Donst with a springboard headbutt and then locked in the Chikara Special. Donst was close enough to the ropes that he was saved from tapping. Green Ant continued to dominate Donst, even locking in the Cloverleaf but Donst continued to survive until he was finally able to get the Ant off of him and tag Ophidian. Ophidian continued his path of destruction in this match, hitting Green Ant with a cobra clutch suplex and then locking in the Death Grip. Green Ant fought and refused to tap, despite being caught in the center of the ring. Finally, he passed out and Barber called it. Green Ant has been eliminated.Donst snuck in and grabbed Ophidian with the double nipple twister, then nailed him with a bulldog. Donst locked on a camel clutch until Ophidian made the ropes. Donst waited on Ophidian to get to his feet and drilled him with the SDT, and was shocked when Ophidian kicked out at two. A second SDT had Donst with a smirk on his face, that turned to look of horror as Ophidian kicked out again at two. Donst with a look of utter hate drilled Ophidian with a Donstitution and a third SDT which finally ended the match. Ophidian has been eliminated.Donst quickly left the ring and staggered to the back with his hands raised above his head. Ophidian left the ring and could be heard whispering that he would not stop until the Grand Championship was his. 5) Gran Akuma and Johnny Gargano were up next as Akuma attempts to put his record against his former stablemates on the winning side. The match was not a long one, as Icarus and Chuck Taylor came to ringside and distracted referee Bryce Remsburg, which allowed Gargano to counter Akuma's flurry of offense, land a massive low blow, and then drop Akuma with a baby ace crusher. A pinfall with a hand full of tights followed, as Gargano and FIST have stolen another one. The three members of FIST quickly vacated ringside, as an angry Akuma called for a microphone. He announced that he was leaving Chikara to find a partner, a partner that hates Icarus, Taylor, and Gargano as much as he does. Then, once he found that man, he would return and take his former stable apart. Intermission was up next, followed by Gavin Loudspeaker announcing that at the upcoming "I'll Be a Mummy's Uncle" show, Johnny Saint would be making his Chikara return!! 6) In the post-intermission match, The Colony was looking for their third point against Dragon Gate's Open the United Gate champions, Cima and Ricochet. Fire Ant and Ricochet started things fast and furious, reversals and flippiness until Fire Ant caught Ricochet with a firemans carry followed by a reverse TKO. Ricochet was sent into the ropes and nailed with a back body drop, followed by a Beach Break, but Ricochet managed to kick out at two. Fire Ant picked Ricochet up and went for what looked like a burning hammer, but Ricochet rolled off of him and stiffed him in the back with a kick before tagging Cima. Cima nailed The Hot Property with a high knee, and then dropped a senton on him. Fire Ant was sent into the ropes and tried to pull off a tilt-a-whirl, but was caught and dropped with Schwein. Cima scaled the top rope and hit Fire Ant with a should tackle as he regained his feet and then nailed the Mad Splash, but Soldier Ant made the save. Soldier tossed Fire out of the ring and knocked Cima silly with a roaring saluting forearm smash. Soldier Ant tried to follow up with a saluting headbutt, but Cima rolled out of the way. Soldier Ant was quickly drilled with the Perfect Driver, and Cima hit a Mad Splash on Soldier for two. Fire Ant got back in the ring which brought in Ricochet who drilled Fire with a superkick, he went to hit Soldier, but Soldier ducked and Ricochet connected with his own partner. Soldier Ant leveled Ricochet with a TKO, then he and Fire Ant caught Cima with Ants Go Marching. Fire jumped on Ricochet, as Soldier covered Cima for the three count! The Colony has Three Points!7) In a first time ever singles encounter, Ultramantis Black went one on one with Colt Cabana!! The match started with shenanigans as Colt and Mantis jaw jacked one another, before each armdragging the other on attempted handshakes. Mantis finally had enough, blasting Colt with Mongolian chops and dropping him with an STO. An Argentine factbuster netted Mantis a two count, as did an Electric Chair suplex. Mantis tossed Colt to the floor, and went out after him, only for Colt to drop toe hold a charging Mantis into the time keepers table. Cabana then tossed Mantis back in the ring and hit a moonsault. Mantis was then placed in the corner and plowed with the Flying Asshole!! Colt whipped Mantis into the ropes, but Mantis ducked Colt's clothesline and on the rebound, both men connected with clotheslines, leaving both on the canvas. Colt managed to get back to his feet first and drilled Mantis with Eat Dafeat and covered him for two. Mantis crawled to the ropes and used them to get up, as Colt readied himself. Once Mantis reached his feet, Colt charged and went for something but Mantis countered and dropped Colt onto the ropes with a stun gun. Mantis quickly grabbed Cabana and dropped him with a Praying Mantis Bomb, BUT COLT KICKED OUT!! Mantis executed another Electric Chair, and again Cabana kicked out! A second Praying Mantis Bomb would spell the end as Ultramantis Black picked up the win. After the match the two competitors shook hands. 8) Speed Muscle of Naruki Doi and Masato Yoshino stood between The Throwbacks and their third point in the next match. Doi and Dunkerton started the match, and surprisingly Sugar took the early advantage rocking Doi with a wicked back elbow, whipping him into the buckle and following in with a clothesline, then forcing Doi to Kiss His Converse. Doi mounted a bit of offense, but Sugar was on his game, blasting Doi with Air Dunkerton for a two count. Sugar tagged in Dasher who Ran the Bases and kicked Doi hard in the mouth. Doi had enough at that point and blasted Dasher with some hard chops and dropped him with a sitout spinebuster. Doi tagged in Yoshino, who attempted to use his insane speed to throw off Dasher, but Hatfield caught him coming off the ropes with an Underhand Pitch uppercut. Dunkerton quickly ran in and the two hit the GrandSlam Dunk on Yoshino, but Doi managed to make the save. Dasher tagged in Sugar, who nailed Doi in the corner with a forearm smash and caught Yoshino with Air Dunkerton as he staggered to his feet. Dasher came across the ring and hit Doi with a baseball slide as Sugar covered Yoshino for three. For the second show in a row, the Chikarmy is taken aback by the ferocity Sugar and Dasher are showing in the ring. After the match Naruki Doi seemed to be favoring his shoulder. The Throwbacks have Three Points!9) In the MAAAIIINNN EVENT OF THE EVENING..... Eddie Kingston looks to make his first defense of the Chikara Grand Championship against "The Big Rig" Brodie Lee. Brodie jumped right off the bat, raking Kingston's eyes, kicking him in the midsection and putting him down with a gutwrench powerbomb. Brodie stalked the ring angrily until King got back to his feet, Brodie then whipped Kingston hard chest first into the turnbuckle. As Kingston staggered out, Brodie dropped him with a Black Hole Slam and went for the cover, but only got one. Irate, Brodie tossed Kingston onto the floor and the two began brawling as Bryce Remsburg began to count. The brawl continued until Bryce reached fifteen, at which point both wrestlers rolled back into the ring. Brodie got the offensive again, drilling King with a kick to the gut, followed by a BIG BOOT. Brodie went for the cover, but Kingston got the shoulder up at two. Brodie only got angrier when Eddie kicked out, and drug him to his feet by his singlet. Brodie hoisted King up and dropped him with the Brodie Bomb. Brodie didn't even bother going for the cover this time, instead pulling Kingston up to his feet again. Brodie placed his massive hand around Kingston's neck and yelled for a choke slam, but before he could deliver it, Eddie blasted him with a punch to the face. A series of chops staggered the Big Rig, and a yakuza kick sent him to his back. Kingston stalked around the ring waiting for Brodie to get back to his feet and as soon as he did, Kingston nailed him with a Lariat. Brodie managed to stay on his feet, so Kingston sent him into the corner and followed in with another lariat. Brodie made it about four steps out of the corner before Kingston unleashed the Backfist to the Future! Brodie went down in a heap and Kingston followed for the cover. One, Two, NO!!! Kingston looked to Remsburg with a look of total shock on his face. A look that quickly turned to anger as he drug Brodie upright and quickly drove him to the mat with a high angle belly to back suplex, and then a half nelson suplex. Brodie was brought upright once again and Kingston came off the ropes with a yakuza kick. Somehow, some way Brodie Lee was still standing and groggily motioned for Eddie Kingston to bring it. Eddie began to unleash a series of brutal chops on Lee, but was cut off with a rake of the eyes, and was against sent hard chest first into the corner. As he came out backwards, Brodie popped off a half nelson suplex of his own. Brodie went for the pin, but was again shocked when Kingston kicked out at two. Lee stomped around the ring as Kingston struggled to get up, and then fired off another Big Boot on Eddie. Another pin attempt, another kick out and an irate Brodie Lee began to threaten Bryce Remsburg. After Bryce threatened a DQ, Brodie nailed Kingston with another Big Boot and tossed him to the floor. Brodie followed Kingston out and whipped him into the guard rail, and then slammed him into the ring post. Another DQ threat from Bryce, and Brodie tossed Eddie back into the ring. Brodie stormed to the far corner and held his arms like he was wielding a shotgun. When Eddie Kingston got to his feet, Brodie "fired" the gun and obliterated Eddie Kingston with a fourth Big Boot. This time there was no kick out. Brodie cradled the belt in the ring as the fans booed their new champion. Bryce Remsburg called for help for the unconcious former champion. -CHIKARA PRESENTS- -THE 5TH SHOW OF SEASON 11- -IT'S HOW YOU PLAY THE GAME- The night began with Director of Fun Wink Vavaseur coming to the ring to make some announcements. He said that due to the concussion Eddie Kingston suffered last night, a shoulder injury to Naruki Doi, and Gran Akuma walking out of Chikara to search for a partner, that some changes had to be made to tonight's show. He hoped the fans understood, and wished them a good evening. 1) The opening match of the new card saw Obariyon and Kodama of The Batiri taking on Darin Corbin and Ryan Cruz of the North Star Express. Kodama and Ryan Cruz started off the match, and Cruz rocked Kodama with some right hands and a vicious chop. Kodama wasted no time rolling out of the ring, and in came Obariyon. Obariyon quickly went on the offense and actually knocked Cruz out of the ring with an enzu knee strike. Corbin came in and caught Obariyon with a series of moves, while Cruz snuck back in, knocked Kodama off the apron and the NSE hit Cruz Control for a near fall. After Obariyon kicked out, Cruz dove between the ropes wiping out Kodama, an Corbin scaled the turnbuckle and caught Obariyon with a beautiful cross body for the 1,2,3. The North Star Express have 1 Point.2) The second match of the night saw "The Kentucky Gentleman" take on "The Queen of Wrestling" as Chuck Taylor battled Sara Del Rey. The action started quickly with a back and forth series of strikes and holds. Taylor eventually hauled off and slapped Del Rey in the face, which she didn't take kindly too, blasting Taylor with a Koppo Kick and then getting a two count from a German Suplex. Chuck absorbed a series of chops and kicks, before catching Sara with a hip toss as she attempted a running strike. He then grabbed her as she stood up and connected with Sole Food for a two count of his own. Sara fought back to her feet but was met with a jumping big boot and a second taste of Sole Food. Taylor quickly pounced on the dazed Del Rey and dropped her with the Omega Driver for the three count. Before the next match could begin, Colt Cabana came to ringside and announced that last night he had signed a contract to appear full time with Chikara, and planned to work his way to a shot at the Chikara Grand Championship. The crowd in attendance went crazy for the announcement. 3) QuackSaw and "The Spectral Envoy" team of Ultramantis Black and Frightmare went at it in tag team competition with points in play. Quack and Frightmare started the match off, and Frightmare immediately used his speed to throw Quackenbush off his game. Armdrags, head scissors, cartwheel kicks, and finally a tornado DDT before Quack rolled to the safety of the floor. However where Mike saw safety, Frightmare saw opportunity leaping onto Quack with a plancha. Jigsaw and Ultramantis hit the ring and Jig quickly took advantage, dropping Mantis with a snap suplex and following it up with a brainbuster. Frightmare pulled Mantis from the ring and rolled back in to face Jigsaw himself. Frightmare took the early lead, snapping off a frankensteiner, but Jigsaw recovered and blasted Frightmare with a super kick, multiple double foot stomps, and a huge senton splash. Frightmare managed to roll out of the ring and Jigsaw tagged, bringing Quack and Mantis face to face. Quackenbush ducked a right hand, blasted Mantis with a Palm Strike and locked in the Chikara Special. Mantis managed to reach the ropes. Quack was relentless nailing a Black Tornado Slam, a Quackendriver, and again locked in the Chikara Special. Mantis managed to make the ropes again, but seemed close to tapping. Quack then waited for Mantis to get to his feet, raised three fingers into the air and dropped Ultramantis Black with the Quackendriver III. Frightmare tried to break up the pin, but was cut off by Jigsaw. Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw have 1 Point.4) Up next was the other member of "The Spectral Envoy" Hallowicked taking on "The Osirian Assassin" Ophidian. Hallowicked used his size advantage to work over Ophidian early in the match, eventually scoring with a brutal Rydeen Bomb that sent Ophidian slithering to the floor to regroup. Ophidian took full advantage of the twenty count on the floor before rolling back in. The two locked up again, and once more Hallowicked took the advantage until he attempted a wheelbarrow facebuster and got caught with the Duat Driver. Ophidian capitalized and locked on the Death Grip, but Hallowicked managed to reach the ropes. Ophidian continued his attack using a rolling prawn hold, a roundhouse kick, and another attempt at the Death Grip. Hallowicked managed to escape the Death Grip again, but was nailed with a top rope double knee attack which led to a count of two and three fourths. Ophidian stalked Hallowicked until he made it back to his feet and slapped on the Death Grip in the center of the ring. Hallowicked tried desperately to get to the ropes, but this time it was not to be. Ophidian rolled from the ring and grabbed the microphone from Gavin, before slithering back into the ring. He again stated that he would continue to defeat anyone placed in front of him until he could lay the gold of the Chikara Grand Championship at the feet of Osiris himself. After intermission, Director of Fun Wink Vavaseur came to the ring again to announce that at the upcoming "I'll Be a Mummy's Uncle" show Tim Donst would be the opponent for the returning legend, Johnny Saint. Also the show would see the return of El Generico to a Chikara ring! 5) Up next "The Last Survivor of the BDK" Tim Donst versus Dragon Gate's Masato Yoshino. Donst started the match off with a blatant thumb to the eye of Yoshino. He followed it up with an STO, then choked Yoshino until the count of four. Donst smirked as he pulled Yoshino to his feet by the hair, and then dropped him with the Donstitution. The referee reached two before Donst yanked Yoshino up by the hair again. This time Donst pulled Yoshino to his feet, thumbed him in the throat and then used the Gator Roll on him. Instead of going for a cover, Donst arrogantly tossed Yoshino to the floor and ran him backfirst into the ring apron before rolling him back in. Donst signaled the end and dropped Yoshino with the SDT for the 1,2....KICKOUT!!! Donst was absolutely stunned and angrily drug Yoshino back to his feet and tossed him from the ring again. Donst went outside and grabbed Yoshino, who leveraged Tim's tights and sent him face first into the guard rail. Yoshino tossed a stunned Donst back into the ring, and climbed to the top turnbuckle. Donst staggered to his feet and was met with a picture perfect missile dropkick. Yoshino got to his feet and nailed Donst with the Lightning Spiral as soon as Donst stood up. Yoshino then locked in Sol Naciente, but Donst was able to make it to the ropes before he was forced to tap. The toll of the beating Yoshino took early in the match seemed to catch up with him as he was slow to reach his feet, and then took his time climbing the turnbuckle again. Donst seemed to get his second wind as he reached his feet and ran up the turnbuckle to meet Yoshino. A struggle ensued that ended with Donst hooking a belly to belly superplex and sending Masato Yoshino plummeting to the canvas. A second SDT would spell the end for Yoshino, and give Tim Donst a huge W in the win column. 6) Icarus and Johnny Gargano of FIST look to gain their third point as they take on Cima and Ricochet of Dragon Gate. Cima and Icarus started things off exchanging some tentative holds and strikes. Cima gained the upper hand with a dropkick, and followed it with a big slam. He then shot hit the ropes and charged Icarus for a shoulder tackle, only to be caught and dropped onto the top rope with a stun gun. Icarus quickly followed with the Wings of Icarus, but Cima kicked out at two. Icarus tagged in Gargano. Gargano grabbed Cima and launched him into the corner with the lawn dart, and followed it up with a super kick. The move knocked Cima back into his corner, where Ricochet tagged himself in. Ricochet attempted to use his speed and agility to overwhelm Gargano, but Icarus entered the ring and nailed Ricochet from behind. FIST then hit Ricochet with an assisted ace crusher. Icarus tackled Cima off the apron while Gargano went for the cover, but Ricochet managed to kick out at two. Gargano then launched Ricochet into the corner with the lawn dart, and attempted another pin, but again Ricochet kicked out. Gargano grabbed Ricochet and drilled him with the Hurts Donut. Gargano made the cover, as Cima attempted to slide back into the ring, but Icarus got ahold of his feet, allowing Gargano to get the 1,2,3. FIST of Johnny Gargano and Icarus have 3 Points.7) The new Grand Champion of Chikara, Brodie Lee stepped into the ring against Dragon Gate's BxB Hulk in the next match. BxB Hulk used his speed to strike at the legs of Brodie Lee, frustrating the champion. A series of dropkicks continued to stagger the big man, and allowed BxB Hulk to scale the ropes. A huge flying shoulder tackle sent Brodie Lee onto his back, and allowed Hulk to connect with a moonsault. Brodie Lee managed to toss the smaller Hulk off of him before the referee could even begin to count. Lee caught Hulk coming off the ropes with a boot to the gut and attempted a powerbomb, but was huracanrana'd out of it. A springboard crescent kick would send the champion down again and score BxB Hulk a 1 count. He followed with La Magistral which got him another one count. Hulk hooked on a reverse chinlock, which Lee powered out of and sent Hulk into the ropes. Brodie nailed him with a brutal clothesline that nearly took BxB out of his boots. Brodie followed with a superkick, and then blasted Hulk with a Big Boot. Hulk managed to get a foot on the ropes in the nick of time. Brodie then picked him up and dropped him with a choke slam. Brodie stalked around the ring until Hulk managed to get to his feet. A second Big Boot sent Hulk out of the ring and to the floor. Brodie wasted no time going out to get him, and tossed him into the ring. Brodie went into the corner and held his arms as if he was holding a shotgun. When Hulk managed to get to his feet, Brodie mimicked the action of firing the shot gun, and obliterated BxB Hulk with a third Big Boot. Brodie covered for the three count and celebrated his second win as the Grand Champion of Chikara. 8) It is now time for the MAAAAAAIIIIINNNNNNN EVENT OF THE EVENING!!!! Trios action as Fire Ant, Soldier Ant, and Green Ant: The Colony take on The Throwbacks team of Dasher Hatfield, Sugar Dunkerton, and Matt Classic!! Soldier Ant and Sugar Dunkerton kick the festivities off with a handshake, that Sugar quickly turns into a headlock. Sugar followed with a clothesline, and a big shoulder tackle that sent Soldier Ant to the canvas. He quickly tagged in Fire Ant, as Sugar tagged out to Dasher. Dasher and Fire exchanged some arm drags, before Fire took control with a high kick that left Sugar reeling. Fire Ant capitalized with a rolling prawn hold, which he turned into a submission that nearly got Dasher to tap. Fire Ant grabbed Dasher before he could slide out of the ring and drilled him with the Beach Break for a two count. Dasher managed to slide out of the ring as Fire Ant looked to the ref to confirm it was only a two count. Matt Classic then hit the ring leveling Fire Ant with a clothesline and a shoulder block. Fire Ant rolled out of the ring himself, and Green Ant came in to take a shot at the 60 year veteran of the sport, Matt Classic. Green Ant went for a running dropkick, but Classic avoided it, and hooked Green Ant in the dreaded airplane spin. Classic then scaled the first rope for a big splash. Not understanding the trios rules, Classic tossed Green Ant to the floor, and began doing squats. Soldier Ant took the opportunity and entered the ring, and blasted Classic with a saluting forearm smash, that sent the big man to the floor. We are back at the beginning as Sugar and Soldier face off. Soldier charged Sugar and nailed him with a clothesline, and followed it with a release northern lights suplex. Soldier then scaled the top turnbuckle and came off with a perfect flying shoulderblock that sent Sugar clear across the ring into the turnbuckle. Green Ant and Fire Ant quickly entered the ring and The Colony connected with Ants Go Marching on the fallen Dunkerton. Soldier went for the pin, but it was broken up by Classic. Fire Ant then cross body blocked himself and Classic over the ropes, as Green Ant tackled Dasher Hatfield off the apron, leaving Soldier and Sugar alone in the ring. Soldier Ant took the advantage and drilled Sugar with the TKO for the three count. All three members of the Colony celebrate as Dasher helps Sugar from the ring, and Classic yells at the fans in attendance for being too loud. Grand Champion - Brodie Lee def.
