CHIKARA EVENT CENTER: I'LL BE A MUMMY'S UNCLE The Main Event will see Hallowicked and Frightmare, Incoherence cash in their three points and challenge FIST members Chuck Taylor and Johnny Gargano for the Chikara Campeones De Parejas. Can FIST make their fifth defense of the belts, or will the Spectral Envoy members take home the gold. "The Last Survivor of the BDK" Tim Donst cleaned house in our Canadian double shot, winning a big four way match and then defeating a Dragon Gate icon. Now he steps into the ring against a certified living legend. Can Donst continue his winning ways, or will the skill and experience of Johnny Saint be too much for the brash youngster to handle. In tag team action, Obariyon and Kodama of The Batiri attempt to end their losing streak, as they take on Los Ice Creams with points in play. Last year we attempted to have The Countdown Showdown on multiple occasions, and each time Mother Nature thwarted us. We've decided to try it again!! Thirty men will enter in ninety second intervals, elimination will occur when you are thrown over the top rope and to the floor. The last man/woman/insect/demon/goblin standing will go on to be the next challenger for Brodie Lee's Chikara Grand Championship.

-CHIKARA PRESENTS- -THE 6TH SHOW OF SEASON 11- -I'LL BE A MUMMY'S UNCLE- 1) The first match of the evening see's Obariyon and Kodama of the Batiri looking to end their losing streak as they step into the ring against the delicious dairy deviants, Los Ice Creams! Unfortunately for Los Ice Creams, they were barely able to get into the match at all. The Batiri were determined to end their losing streak, and they did so in quick fashion. Kodama started off beating El Hijo Del Ice Cream unmercifully, finally sending him out of the ring after blasting him with the John Woo kick. Ice Cream Jr. came in but was drilled by a hard Obariyon clothesline, and drilled with an Argentine Enzu Knee strike which sent him out of the ring. Obariyon exited the ring and grabbed El Hijo drilling him into the apron before tossing him into the ring and scaling the top rope, annihalating Hijo Del Ice Cream with the Flying DDT for the win and the point. THE BATIRI HAVE 1 POINT.Before the next match began Johnny Saint came to the ring and thanked the fans for their continued support of him even at his age. He announced that he would return to Chikara in a few months time to compete in King of Trios. The fans went crazy as usually Saint only appears in Chikara once a year. Saint then made them go even crazier when he announced that his team mates for King of Trios would be, "Squire" Dave Taylor and Fit Finlay!!2) "The Last Survivor of the BDK" Tim Donst came to the ring and stared down the legendary Johnny Saint. Saint stuck out his hand for a handshake, and Donst had the audacity to slap Saint in the mouth. Saint smirked and grabbed a headlock and the match was under way. Donst managed to power out of the headlock and into a chicken wing, but Saint transitioned out of it and locked Donst into another hold. The match continued this way for much of the first seven minutes, until Donst grew more and more frustrated and finally thumbed Saint in the eye. He then took him down and locked in a choke using his wrist tape. Saint managed to get out but was met with an SDT. Donst cockily covered the legend and was shocked when Saint kicked out at two and nine tenths. Donst drug him back to his feet, but Saint small packaged Donst for a two of his own. As referee Jon Barber was checking on Saint after the count, Jakob Hammermeier made his Chikara return and slipped a pair of brass knuckles to Donst. A distraction of Barber by Jakob, allowed Donst to clock Saint with the knucks and cover him for the cheap win. Donst and Hammermeier celebrated as they headed for the locker room. Saint received a standing ovation from the fans in attendance for his performance. During intermission, it was announced that at the upcoming show titled "The Contaminated Cowl" Soldier Ant and Fire Ant of The Colony would cash in their three points against the winners of tonight's match for the Campeones De Parejas. Gavin Loudspeaker then led a contigent of fans out the front door of the building to check that no tornadoes or tidal waves were headed for the building, because the Countdown Showdown was next!!!3) The Countdown Showdown! Best Two of Three falls for the Chikara Campeones De Parejas!!! Hallowicked and Frightmare of Incoherence take on the reigning and defending champions, Johnny Gargano and Chuck Taylor...FIST!!! Fall One: Frightmare and Gargano start the match and Frightmare wastes zero time, firing off a Frightensteiner and then taking Gargano up for a super frankensteiner. Frightmare then hits Gargano with Kneecolepsy, but Chuck Taylor makes the save. Hallowicked hits the ring and sends Taylor to the floor. He then slingshots himself onto Taylor with a plancha. Frightmare then nails Gargano with a second Kneecolepsy for the three count and the fall!! Fall Two: Hallowicked untangles himself from the fans chairs that he and Taylor crashed into and heads back toward the ring. He is stopped dead in his tracks when Delirious slides out from underneath the ring. The two former members of Incoherence stare at one another for a long moment, Hallowicked attempting to communicate with Delirious in their mysterious language, but Delirious only stares at him. Finally Delirious moves to raise his fist in front of Hallowicked's face, but instead of striking his former partner he opens the hand and allows an object to dangle from a chain in front of Hallowicked's face. It is the Eye of Tyr. Frightmare rolls to the floor and attempts to attack Delirious, but is met with a vicious forearm smash from Hallowicked that sends him crashing to the ground. Delirious then leads the spellbound Hallowicked out the front door of the building, as Frightmare recovers on the floor. Ultramantis Black comes rushing to ringside, but is too late as both Delirious and Wicked are gone. He helps Frightmare to his feet, but is too late as the referee reaches the count of twenty. FIST wins the second fall by count out. Ultramantis attempts to insert himself into the match as Frightmare's partner, but referee Bryce Remsburg has no choice but to deny the request. Fall Three: Frightmare fights valiantly, but the two one one advantage is too much to overcome. Taylor and Gargano make frequent tags, wearing down the smaller opponent. Finally Taylor drills Frightmare into the mat with the Omega Driver and secures the victory. FIST are still the Chikara Campeones De Parejas! Grand Champion - Brodie Lee def. "The Last Survivor of the BDK" Tim Donst insisted that he lead the Chikara team into the Cibernetico, when his request was denied, he said that he would take on anyone to prove that he deserved the spot. He was not happy when he was informed he would have not just one, not two, but three opponents. He was even angrier when he found out they would be "The Leader of the Band" Archibald Peck, "The Littlest Lumberjack" Grizzly Redwood, and Batiri member Kobald. Donst has promised to destroy the three jokes and prove he belongs at the top of Chikara. In tag team action, The North Star Express of Ryan Cruz and Darin Corbin look for their second point toward a title shot as they take on a Mystery Team! (Delirious and Wicked) "The Osirian Assassin" Ophidian hopes to give another sacrifice to Osiris as he steps into the ring with "The Queen of Wrestling" Sara Del Rey Back after missing the first part of the season, 3.0 looks to continue their march toward the Campeones De Parejas as they take on the delicious dairy deviants, Los Ice Creams! -CHIKARA PRESENTS- -THE 7TH SHOW OF SEASON 11- -IN ASSOCIATION WITH RING OF HONOR- -HOT OFF THE GRIDDLE- 1) The opening match of the night see's Scott Parker and Shane Matthews of 3.0 make their return to tag team competition here in Chikara as they take on Los Ice Creams. Parker and Hijo Del Ice Cream started off quickly with Ice Cream attempting to cheat right off the bat, but Parker had none of it nearly picking up a quick win with a flash roll up. Shane Matthews hit the ring and 3.0 drilled Ice Cream Jr. with a tandem Samoan drop neckbreaker, but Ice Cream Jr. broke it up. Hijo managed to roll to the floor allowing Jr. to enter the match legally. Ice Cream Jr. and Shane Matthews then engaged in a chop versus forearm smash battle that Matthews managed to win. He then obliterated Ice Cream Jr. with a powerbomb and shoved him out of the ring. Hijo Del Ice Cream came back in, and was smashed with a Big Magic Spear for the three count. 3.0 has Two Points!Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw came to the ring before the next match could start and Quack took the microphone. "Pardon the interruption Ladies and Gentleman, but Jigsaw and I just wanted to come out here and announce that we will be entering a team in King of Trios this year." Jigsaw then took the mic and added "and our partner will be none other than "The Insane Luchadore" Super Crazy!" The crowd went crazy for the announcement, and we now have our second confirmed team for King of Trios. 2) The second match of the evening was scheduled to be a four way elimination match between Tim Donst, Archibald Peck, Kobald, and Grizzly Redwood. However before the match could begin, Tim Donst announced that he was pulling out of the match due to a swollen big toe, and not because he was too good to get into the ring with these three losers. Director of Fun Wink Vavaseur came out and announced that he was removing Tim Donst from the match, to which Donst was smirking. Wink then announced that he promised the fans a four way elimination match, and therefore Tim Donst's good friend, Jakob Hammermeier would be replacing him in the match! and Tim Donst would be banned from ringside! Donst and Jakob lost it as Wink headed backstage. Grizzly Redwood immediately jumped on Jakob and nailed him with a big body slam for the two count. Jakob followed with a poke to the eye, and a quick tag to Archibald Peck. Peck took advantage of Grizzly holding his eye and marched around in circles, punching Redwood from every angle. Archie then hammered him with an elbow to the neck and hit the Unchained Melody to put Redwood down. Peck then ascended the ropes and hit a beautiful Cranial Crescendo, but Redwood managed to kick out at two. Peck was in shock and backed too close to a corner where Kobald tagged himself in. Kobald came rushing in to take advantage of the injured Redwood, but was shocked to be met with a Little Boot and then drilled with The Wood Chipper. Kobald managed to kick out at two, but Grizzly wasn't finished, quickly scaling the ropes and waiting for Kobald to stand. When he did, Grizzly launched a picture perfect flying cross body and got the three count on Kobald. Kobald is Eliminated.Jakob quickly entered the ring and hit Grizzly with an elbow to the back of the head. Jakob then hit Grizzly with a low blow while referee Jon Barber was pushing Kobald out of the ring. Jakob then dropped Grizzly with a reverse neckbreaker and went for the cover, but Grizzly kicked out before the referee could even count one. So Jakob quickly tagged out to Peck. Peck wasted no time, hitting another Unchained Melody and heading for the top rope. Another Cranial Crescendo followed for the One, Two, Thr...REDWOOD KICKS OUT!! Peck stands up looking mortified and quickly tags an unsuspecting Jakob Hammermeier. Jakob comes in and rakes the eyes of Redwood, and hits him with another reverse neckbreaker, but an angry Grizzly gets back to his feet. Jakob whips Grizzly into the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Grizzly ducks and then rocks Jakob with a clothesline of his own!! Grizzly quickly tags Archibald Peck. Peck comes in marching and after waiting far too long, attempts to pick up Jakob but is met with a low blow, followed by an eye rake. While Peck walks blindly around the ring, Jakob scales the turnbuckles and in a less perfect imitation of the first fall dives on Peck with a flying cross body. Hooking the tights, Jakob gets the three count. Archibald Peck is Eliminated.Grizzly comes back into the match and blasts Jakob with a clothesline. He attempts to follow it with a knee drop, but Hammermeier rolls out of the way. Jakob then pounces on Grizzly locking him in a head lock but not before wrapping some wrist tape around Grizzly's neck. After choking Grizzly out, Jakob drops him with Guten Nacht for the three count and the win. Grizzly Redwood is Eliminated.Your Winner is Jakob Hammermeier! 3) Next up, tag team action as Matt and Nick Jackson, The Young Bucks take on Obariyon and Kodama of The Batiri. Twenty plus minutes of back and forth action in this one. Highlights include Obariyon eating the barrage of super kicks from both Bucks and then nailing them with a devestating double clothesline before collapsing. Kodama using his John Woo Kick to launch Matt Jackson off of the apron into the second row. Nick Jackson absolutely planting Kodama with a springboard sitout facebuster that left Kodama on the floor for quite a while. The finish came when Obariyon drilled Nick Jackson with his Flying DDT and got the pin while Kodama held Matt from making the save from the floor. The Batiri have 2 Points. 4) The man who will challenge for the Chikara Grand Championship, Ophidian is up next against "The Queen of Wrestling" Sara Del Rey. Ophidian attacked Sara just as the bell rang and nailed her with a big kick to the face, which he followed with a rolling reverse prawn hold in an attempt to secure the quick win. Sara however kicked out at two, and was furious. She nailed Ophidian with a hard kick to the leg, then delivered a series of hard chops to his chest. She then rocked him with a Koppo kick and locked in the LeBell Lock. Ophidian barely made the ropes, but Sara didn't let up. Grabbing the Osirian she drilled him with a nasty powerbomb, then came off the top with a flying shoulderblock when he recovered. Sara then called for the Royal Butterfly, but was cut short when Ophidian lifted his mask and spewed a black substance into the eyes of Del Rey which left her on the mat clutching her face. Referee Bryce Remsburg quickly disqualified Ophidian and called for help for the fallen Del Rey. Intermission was up next and it was announced during intermission that The Throwbacks would be entering King of Trios this year with Matt Classic as their partner once again. 5) Darin Corbin and Ryan Cruz of the North Star Express came to the ring to await the mystery team that would be challenging them. The lights in the building went out as Gavin was saying "and their opponents." When the lights turned back on Delirious and Hallowicked stood behind Corbin and Cruz. The assault was immediate and vicious. Cruz was decimated almost immediately by a kick to the gut and Praying Mantis Bomb from Delirious. Hallowicked meanwhile sent Corbin into the ropes and nearly took his head off with a running boot. Delirious tossed Cruz to the floor, and then exited the ring to stand in his corner. The referee reluctantly rang the bell, and Hallowicked picked up Corbin and drilled him with the Go 2 Sleepy Hollow. Wicked tagged Delirious who picked up Corbin for the Praying Mantis Bomb and Hallowicked came off the top and spiked Corbin with it. Delirious covered for the three count and the point. Incoherence have 1 Point.6) Atomico's action as Grand Champion Brodie Lee teams up with all three members of FIST to take on The Throwbacks, Colt Cabana, and El Generico was up next, however when The Throwbacks stepped out from behind the curtain, they were immediately jumped by Delirious and Hallowicked. Sugar was run face first into a wall by Delirious, while Hallowicked blasted Dasher with a huge running boot to the face, before planting him on the hard floor with a Rydeen Bomb. Delirious grabbed a fan's chair and blasted Sugar Dunkerton with it, before he and Hallowicked retreated toward the front door of the building and left. Sugar and Dasher were helped to the locker room to receive medical attention by their partners Colt Cabana and El Generico. In the meantime, FIST and Brodie Lee came to the ring. Colt and Generico returned to the ring and looked ready to take on all four men when Director of Fun, Wink Vavasuer came to ringside. Wink stated that he would not allow a four on two handicap match to take place on his watch. Therefore, Chuck Taylor and Johnny Gargano would be given the night off to prepare for their defense of the Campeones De Parejas tomorrow night. Thus tonight, El Generico and Colt Cabana would team up to take on the team of Icarus and Brodie Lee. Brodie Lee immediately snatched the microphone out of Wink's hand and wanted to know why Gargano and Taylor get out of wrestling to prepare for a title defense, when he has a title defense tomorrow night as well. Wink contemplated it for a minute and said that his decision was final. Brodie nodded and removed the belt from his waist, he then turned and blasted Icarus in the head with it. Brodie dropped the belt and grabbed the mic back from Wink stating that now there was no tag team match, because he had no partner. Wink looked at the fallen Icarus being taken from ringside, and shook his head. "Apparently Brodie, you are correct. There will be no tag team match. There will now be a triple threat match.....and the Chikara Grand Championship will be on the line. RING THE BELL!" 6...Again) Brodie Lee defends the Chikara Grand Championship against Colt Cabana and El Generico in this impromptu match!! Cabana wastes no time, going straight after Brodie Lee, while Bryce Remsburg sends El Generico to the apron. Cabana connects with a running lariat which staggers Brodie. Caban then blasts Lee with a bionic elbow, skipping the normal shenanigans that accompany it. A running high knee sends Lee to the mat, where Cabana quickly locks in the Billy Goats Curse. Lee manages to crawl his way to the ropes, but is slow getting up. Cabana grabs Brodie and drills him with Eat Dafeat, then scales the ropes for a beautiful moonsault. Brodie manages to get his shoulder up at two. Cabana continues his relentless pace and locks the Billy Goats Curse in again. Again Lee manages to get to the ropes. Cabana musters up all the strength he has and lifts Brodie Lee up into the Colt .45 as best he can. It isn't perfect...but it's enough. One, Two, Three.... BRODIE LEE HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!!!!!El Generico rushes the ring and blasts Colt Cabana with a huge Yakuza Kick which sends Cabana to the mat. Generico then ascends the ropes and executes a 450 Splash. Cabana kicks out at two. Generico lifts Cabana to his feet and drills him with a three-quarter nelson suplex. Generico covers again, but again Cabana gets his shoulder up at two. Generico heads up top and goes for a moonsault, but Cabana gets his knees up. Colt is to his feet first and nails Generico with a dropkick to the knee. Generico manages to remain standing but is hobbled. Colt hits him with a series of elbow smashes, and finishes it with the big Bionic Elbow. Colt drops an elbow onto the leg of Generico, and then locks in the Billy Goats Curse. Generico claws his way to the ropes. Cabana picks Generico up, but Generico rolls Colt up with an inside cradle for a long two count. Generico is up first and catches Colt with a knee to the gut, and then calls for the Brainbuster. Generico drives Cabana into the mat with the Brainbuster, but again Cabana kicks out at two. Generico hobbles back to the top rope and goes for the 450 a second time. Only this time Cabana moved and Generico crashed into the mat elbows and knees first. Cabana quickly grabbed Generico and hooked him back in the Billy Goats Curse. Generico began to claw his way too the ropes, but alas, he couldn't make it....El Generico taps out. COLT CABANA IS THE NEW CHIKARA GRAND CHAMPION!!!!!!A good portion of the Technico locker room empties out of the back and begins to clap for the new champion. El Generico makes it to his feet and extends his hand to Colt, who shakes it. Generico then raises Cabana's arm into the air before exiting the ring to join the people on the floor. Colt scales the ropes and raises the title into the air. He then rolls out of the ring to hugs and high fives from his friends in the locker room and the crowd. 7) IN THE MAAAAAIIIINNNN EVENT OF THE EVENING.......Chikara vs Ring of Honor: Torneo Cibernetico Team RoH Batting Order: Davey Richards, Kenny King, Mark Briscoe, Rhett Titus, Jay Briscoe, Roderick Strong, Jimmy Jacobs, Kevin Steen Team Chikara Batting Order: Eddie Kingston, Green Ant, Jigsaw, Frightmare, Fire Ant, Ultramantis Black, Mike Quackenbush, Soldier Ant Elimination #1: Shortly into the batting order, Kenny King and Green Ant are in the ring going at it. Kevin Steen is taunting Eddie Kingston from across the ring, and finally Kingston snaps and heads over to the RoH side of the ring, where a brawl erupts. Members from both teams are brawling on the floor, while King and Green Ant are still in the ring. During the brawl, Soldier and Fire Ant manage to slip into the ring and the three members of The Colony deliver ther Super Mega Antapult onto Kenny King. Soldier and Fire clear out of the ring, and Green covers Kenny King for the three count and eliminates him from the match. Elimination #2: The batting order has gone all the way on both sides, and Richards and Kingston are fighting in the ring. Davey has been blasting Kingston with kicks, but Eddie finally has enough and belts Richards in the mouth with the Backfist to the Future. Richards kicks out at two. A second Backfist, a second kick out. A third Backfist to the Future, and DAVEY KICKS OUT!! Kingston is enraged and drills Davey Richards with a backdrop driver, and follows it up with a Sliding D for the three count. Davey Richards is gone from Team RoH. Elimination #3: Nearly 25 minutes into the match, and both Soldier Ant and Kevin Steen had taken quite a beating from multiple people. Soldier Ant went for a saluting rolling forearm, but Steen ducked and kicked Soldier Ant in the stomach. One Package Piledriver later and Team Chikara was down their first man as Soldier Ant was Eliminated. Elimination #4: Eddie Kingston had been holding his own against everyone, but he wasn't ready for the combined force of Mark and Jay Briscoe. A Doomsday Device, followed by a Cut Throat Driver spelled the end for Eddie Kingston and the sides were back even. Eddie Kingston is Eliminated. Elimination #5: Rhett Titus and Green Ant had one hell of an exchange that left both men exhausted. Unfortunately for Titus, Green Ant was closer to his corner and tagged in Jigsaw. Jig nailed Titus with a double foot stomp, and the Jig 'N' Tonic for the fall. Rhett Titus is Eliminated. Elimination #6: Jay Briscoe was pissed off and taking it out on Frightmare. A death valley driver, followed by a guillotine legdrop left Frightmare weakened. A Jay Driller would signal the end for Frightmare and even the sides again. Frightmare has been Eliminated. Elimination #7: Jimmy Jacobs had been on a roll, doing damage to everyone who stepped into the ring with him, but eventually he began to wear down. Ultramantis Black was able to take advantage of Jacobs fatigue and wear him down, before dropping him with the Praying Mantis Bomb for the pinfall. Jimmy Jacobs has been Eliminated. Elimination #8: Kevin Steen and Mike Quackenbush were going to war for quite some time, when Steen went for a powerbomb. Quack rolled over top and sunset flipped Steen, instead of going for the pin he leapt to his feet and locked in the Chikara Special. Steen tried to get to the ropes, but could not, finally tapping out. Kevin Steen has been Eliminated. Elimination #9: Less than a minute after the elimination of Steen, Mark Briscoe went to work on Green Ant with his Redneck Kung Fu, and then caught him with a springboard ace crusher. A shooting star press secured the three count for Briscoe. Green Ant has been Eliminated. Elimination #10: At the 50 minute mark all of the men in the match are obviously running on fumes. Jay Briscoe and Fire Ant are trading chops and kicks in the center of the ring. Briscoe gets the upper hand, and whips Fire Ant into the ropes. Briscoe goes for a running kick, but Fire Ant ducks and blasts Briscoe with an enzuigiri. Fire Ant then scoops Briscoe up and drills him with the Beach Break for the fall. Jay Briscoe has been Eliminated. Elimination #11: Fire Ant continued his dominance against Roderick Strong rocking him with a huge leaping kick, but it sent him to the floor. Mark Briscoe came into the ring like a man possessed and drilled Fire Ant with a Cut Throat Driver. Not satisfied, Mark lifted him back up and hit another Cut Throat Driver for the fall. Fire Ant has been Eliminated. Elimination #12: Roderick Strong blistered Ultramantis Black with a series of chops, then sent him hard into the buckle. Mantis staggered out and was nailed with The Gibson Driver, but managed to kick out at two. Roddy then nailed him with the fireman's carry gutbuster for the three count. Ultramantis Black has been Eliminated. Elimination #13: Jigsaw ducked the clothesline of Roderick Strong and hit him with a brutal superkick. A brainbuster quickly followed. Jigsaw took no chances and lifted Roderick Strong up for the Jig 'N' Tonic which got him the pinfall. Roderick Strong has been Eliminated. Elimination #14: Mark Briscoe attacked Jigsaw from behind as soon as the fall was counted. Redneck Kung Fu rocked Jigsaw, and Mark followed with a brutal suplex. Mark then nailed Jigsaw with a Cut Throat Driver while staring at Mike Quackenbush. A three count later and we are one on one. Jigsaw has been Eliminated. Elimination #15: Mike Quackenbush and Mark Briscoe went at it for nearly five minutes taking the match over the hour and fifteen mark. Finally Quack managed to nail Briscoe with the Quackendriver for the one, two, thr....KICK OUT!!! Mike Quackenbush stared at the referee in astonishment while holding two fingers in the air. Quack got to his feet and drug Briscoe up. Quack held up four fingers signalling the Quackendriver IV. Before he could start to execute the move, Briscoe grabbed his head and dropped to his knees, driving Quack's chin into the top of Briscoe's head. -CHIKARA PRESENTS- -THE 8TH SHOW OF SEASON 11- -THE CONTAMINATED COWL- Gavin Loudspeaker started the show by announcing that the line up which was subject to change, had indeed changed. Due to the attack last night, Director of Fun Wink Vavaseur has pulled Dasher Hatfield and Sugar Dunkerton from the night's line-up. Furthermore after his shocking loss of the Grand Championship, Brodie Lee has left Chikara stating only that he heard Florida was nice this time of the year. Gavin started to announce the new line-up, but the music of FIST interrupted him. Icarus, Taylor, and Gargano took to the ring and snatched the microphone from Gavin. Icarus announced that tonight Taylor and Gargano would make their record breaking sixth defense of the Campeones De Parejas, and then at King of Trios, FIST would become the first team to ever repeat, because they were officially entered. FIST were themselves interrupted by the music of The Colony who came out from behind the curtain. Green Ant produced a microphone of his own and announced that The Colony had also officially entered King of Trios, and that they would be the first team to ever repeat as winners. The fans cheered the announcement as FIST looked on angrily in the ring. Eventually Taylor and Gargano were sent to the back. Fire and Soldier Ant left of their own accord, and our opening contest was in the ring. 1) Icarus and Green Ant one on one opens the show tonight. Green Ant came out on the early offensive, until an attempt to hit Icarus with a backdrop resulted in a big kick to the head. Icarus followed up with a clothesline and a suplex which he rolled into a submission. Green Ant made the ropes, but Icarus was quick to slide out of the ring and guillotine Green Ant on the bottom rope, which drew the ire of Bryce Remsburg. Icarus slid back in and pulled Green Ant to his feet before connecting with a Shiranui. Icarus then plowed Green Ant into the turnbuckle with the Blu-Ray and picked up the three count. 2) The Young Bucks hit the ring and were met with the blitzkrieg of Delirious and Hallowicked who hit the ring before the music of The Bucks could stop. Matt Jackson was taken immediately out of the equation as Delirious clotheslined Matt and himself to the floor, and then drilled the older Buck with a Bizzaro Driver on the floor. In the ring, Hallowicked took the head of Nick Jackson off with a big boot, and drilled him with a Rydeen Bomb. Nick somehow managed to kick out at two. Hallowicked drug Nick to his feet and drilled him with Go 2 Sleepy Hollow. Hallowicked was about to cover, when Delirious called for the tag. Wicked under the influence of the Eye did as he was commanded and tagged Delirious. A Praying Mantis Bomb would spell the end of The Young Bucks. Incoherence has 2 Points.3) The music of Archibald Peck began to play, and Archie came marching from behind the curtain. He was most of the way to the ring when he realized that Veronica wasn't with him. Archie stopped marching and headed back behind the curtain. It would be close to a minute before he returned, this time with Veronica. All was not well however as Archie looked quite sad, and Veronica looked quite annoyed. When they reached ringside she could be heard telling him that he hadn't won a single match yet this season, and that she did not associate with losers, so things had better change tonight. Archie was assuring her that he would win tonight, no matter what, when the music of Eddie Kingston hit the speakers. "The War King" came to the ring with a purpose, angry at his early eliminations from both the cibernetico and the countdown showdown, and still fuming about his title loss. He hit the ring and went immediately to work on Peck...... Kingston came into the ring and blasted Peck with a headbutt, followed by a hammerlock takedown. Eddie smashed the head of Peck into the mat multiple times from that position and left Archie laying. Kingston got to his feet, and tore off his arm pad. The Sliding D would connect and hit Archie with such force that it knocked him all the way to the floor. Veronica stepped over the seemingly unconcious Peck on the floor and headed back to the dressing room. Kingston slid to the floor and tossed Archie back into the ring. One, Two, Thr...foot on the rope. An irate Kingston began to question Jonathan Barber about the count, when Archie thumbed "The War King" in th eye. Archie then slid back to the floor and drug Kingston out of the ring. Archie hit Kingston with a blistering chop, but it only managed to make Eddie mad. Eddie retaliated by slamming Peck backfirst into the ring apron. Eddie then tossed him back into the ring and blasted him with the Sliding D, not once but twice. Kingston would drag Archie back to his feet one more time and absolutely blast him with the Backfist to the Future. The three count was unquestioned as Kingston picks up the win. Before the next match could begin, Gavin Loudspeaker hit the ring and announced that another trio had been signed for King of Trios. From the AAA promotion in Mexico, Ozz, Cuervo, and Escoria. Collectively known as The Dark Family, or La Secta will debut in Chikara and try to win the most prestigious trios tournament in the world. 4) Trios action as Team 3.Ole and The Batiri meet. Obariyon and Scott Parker started the match, but it quickly broke down to a six man brawl when Kobald tried to steal Shane Matthew's Red Bull. The fray ended with Obariyon getting blasted with a Super 3.Ole Kick and rolling from the ring. Kodama and Parker then went at each other for some time, before 3.0 nailed him with a Samoan Drop/Neckbreaker combo. Kodama rolled out of the ring, and Kobald attacked "Big Magic" immediately. Obariyon snuck around the ring and pulled Generico off the apron, and the two of them began to brawl on the floor. In the ring, Kobald fired off some rapid palm strikes, and then went for a running knee strike, but was cut off when Matthews annihalated him with a spear for a two count. Kodama tried to interfere, but was cut off by Parker. Matthews then grabbed Kobald and drilled him with a Classic Piledriver for the three count and the victory. Intermission was up next, followed by Director of Fun Wink Vavasseur heading to the ring. He first announced that both of the teams we just saw would be in King of Trios this year. He then announced that at the upcoming Anniversario weekend, a tournament would take place on the fist night, the winner of which will go on to night two and challenge whoever walks out of tonights show as Chikara Grand Champion. 5) Up next was "The Littlest Lumberjack" Grizzly Redwood taking on "The Queen of Wrestling" Sara Del Rey. Sara was apparently still seeting about the attack from Ophidian last night and took it out on Grizzly. Repeated chops, headbutts, fallaway slams, and a brutal Koppo Kick left Grizzly on the mat. Finally, he was able to muster a bit of offense as he caught a charging Sara with drop toe hold that knocked her head into the turnbuckle. Grizzly attempted to follow it up with a spear into the corner, but Sara moved and Griz smashed shoulder first into the ringpost and fell to the floor. Sara followed him to the floor, but Redwood grabbed her by the trunks and propelled her into the guard rail. Grizzly got slowly to his feet, and turned to see Sara also standing. They exchanged chops and kicks on the floor, which Sara got the best of. She tossed Grizzly back into the ring and locked him in the Royal Butterfly, but instead of holding onto the submission, drilled him with the suplex. Not satisfied, Sara picked Redwood up and nailed him with a piledriver. The three count followed. Sara called for the microphone and made two statements. One, she wants in the Anniversario tournament and Two, she will bring a team to King of Trios consisting of herself, MsChif and Christina Von Eerie 6) Three way tag team action with points in play is up next. QuackSaw takes on Ulramantis Black and Frightmare, and the BDK contigent of Tim Donst and Jakob Hammermeier. Tim Donst was mouthing off to Quack and Jig at the start of the match, when he was blasted by a huge dropkick from Frightmare, and then rolled up for two and seven eighths. Frightmare didn't let up, mounting the turnbuckles and leveling Donst with a flying crossbody. A crucifix bomb, and a Frightensteiner would draw another near three count. Frightmare then tagged to Ultramantis who came in and drilled Donst with an electric chair. Mantis launched Donst into the turnbuckle, and charged in with a big shoulderblock, but the beaten Donst collapsed and Mantis ran shoulder first into the turnbuckle, and went hard to the floor. Jigsaw tried to capitalize on the oppurtunity, but Donst managed to crawl across the ring and tag Jakob. Jakob cut Jig off with an eye rake, and followed it up with a reverse neckbreaker. Happy with himself, Jakob whipped Jigsaw into the corner and tried to follow in with a flying knee into the corner. Unfortunately for Jakob, Jigsaw moved and Hammermeier hit the turnbuckle hard. Jakob landed on his feet, clutching his knee and turned into a brutal superkick from Jigsaw. With Donst in no condition to help, Jigsaw covered Jakob for the three count. Tim Donst and Jakob Hammermeier have been eliminated.Jig quickly tagged Quack as Frightmare hit the ring, the two shook hands and commenced wrestling. A brief exchange of wrestling holds ended with Frightmare attempting to scare Mike Quackenbush, who blasted him with a palm strike and locked in the Chikara Special. Frightmare managed to make the ropes, and then rolled out of the ring. Mantis entered and nailed Quack with a clotheline, then drilled him with a headbutt between the eyes. Cosmic Doom connected, but only got a two count. Quack managed to reverse a full nelson slam into a backdrop suplex and tagged Jigsaw. Jig went to work on Mantis nailing him with a jumping enzuigiri and drilling him with a brainbuster for a long two count. Mantis ducked a superkick, and rolled from the ring. Frightmare entered and nailed Jig with the Frightensteiner, the momentum of which carried Jigsaw to the floor. Quack entered and was caught and nearly pinned with a Crucifix bomb. Quack stood up only to eat a Fright Crusher, and was nearly pinned. Jigsaw however pulled Frightmare off of Quack and tossed him under the bottom rope, hard to the floor. Mantis drilled Jigsaw from behind with a forearm smash, but Jig was quick to retaliate with a hard kick to the stomach and another jumping enzuigiri. Jigsaw didn't give Mantis a moment to breathe, setting him up and nailing him with Jig 'N' Tonic for the One, Two, Thr....NO!!! MANTIS KICKED OUT!!! Jigsaw was stunned as Mantis climbed back to his feet, but not to stunned to drill him with a superkick, and hit a second Jig 'N' Tonic for the three count! Ultramantis Black and Frightmare have been eliminated
MIKE QUACKENBUSH AND JIGSAW HAVE 3 POINTS!!!7) In the first of two mmmmmmmmainnnnnnn events for the evening, "The Osirian Assassin" Ophidian will take on the man who shocked the world and won the Chikara Grand Championship just last night, Colt Cabana. Ophidian starts the match by sneak attacking Cabana, Colt is drilled with several hard kicks and dropped with a flying double knee attack. Ophidian goes for the Death Grip, but Colt managed to arm roll Ophidian out of it. Ophidian attempts to sweep the leg, but Colt jumps it and nailed Ophidian in the face with a knee. The match would continue to go back and forth for nearly seventeen minutes before Ophidian finally locked on the Death Grip. Colt was quickly felled to one knee, and appeared to be fading, eventually a last ditch effort on the part of Cabana got him to his feet and he rammed Ophidian into the turnbuckle multiple times to shake him loose. Ophidian went for another roundhouse kick, but Colt ducked and Ophidian connected with referee Bryce Remsburg sending him to the ground. Seeing the referee temporarily down, Ophidian lifted up his mask and prepared to spew the black mist on Cabana, but Colt thought quickly and kicked Ophidian in the groin, causing the Osirian to swallow whatever it was in his mouth. Cabana quickly hooked Ophidian up and drilled him with the Colt 45. Cabana covered and a groggy Remsburg counted to three. Colt Cabana is still Chikara Grand Champion.8) In the second mmmmmmmmaaaiiinnnnnn event of the evening, Chuck Taylor and Johnny Gargano look to make their record breaking sixth defense of the Campeones De Parejas, as they take on Fire Ant and Soldier Ant of The Colony. Fall #1 Fire Ant and Johnny Gargano started the match, with Fire Ant grabbing the early advantage nailing Gargano with a running elbow and rolling him up with a prawn hold. Gargano slipped out of the ring, allowing Chuckie T to enter the match, and Taylor was on the offensive in a major way. A running dropkick rocketed Fire Ant into the turbuckle and a jumping big boot as he stumbled out leveled him. Taylor quickly covered, but Soldier Ant broke it up. Taylor wasn't finished yet, nailing Fire Ant with a springboard moonsault before locking in a Cross Crab. Fire Ant managed to make the ropes, but Taylor didn't release until the count of four. As Referee Jonathan Barber admonished Taylor, Gargano snuck around the ring and pulled Soldier Ant off the apron and shoved him into the guard rail. Taylor quickly lifted up Fire Ant and destroyed him with the Omega Driver for the three count. FIST wins Fall #1Fall #2 Soldier Ant steps into the ring against Chuck Taylor to start the second fall, but Taylor jumps the gun and drills Soldier Ant with a jumping big boot right as the bell rings. He grabs Soldier off the canvas and drills him with the Omega Driver for TWO!!! Soldier Ant kicks out!!! An irate Taylor tosses Soldier Ant out of the ring, and follows him out to do some damage on the floor. Johhny Gargano wastes no time, flying across the ring and blasting Fire Ant as he attempts to get back into the ring. As Jonathan Barber is trying to break up the brawl on the floor, Gargano kicks Fire Ant low, then nailed him with a baby ace crusher after he falls to his knees. On the outside, Taylor shoves Soldier Ant hard into the ringpost, and then points to the action in the ring as he walks away from his fallen opponent. In the ring, grinning like the cheshire cat, Gargano unnecessarily uses Hurts Donut on Fire Ant before covering him for the fall. FIST wins Fall #2Chuck Taylor and Johnny Gargano of FIST are still Campeones De Parejas.Taylor and Gargano celebreate around ringside as Green Ant comes out to check on his fallen partners. Taylor can be heard yelling that they are unstoppable, while Gargano looks into the camera and predicts a FIST victory at King of Trios. Grand Champion - Colt Cabana def. -CHIKARA PRESENTS- -THE 9TH SHOW OF SEASON 11- -ANNIVERSARIO- -A HORSE OF ANOTHER COLOR- The show opened with Gavin Loudspeaker welcoming everyone to the show, and announcing three more teams for the King of Trios tournament. The F1rst Family will be returning as "The Anarchist" Arik Cannon and "The North Star Express" of Darin Corbin and Ryan Cruz will make another attempt at claiming the tournament. The second team, representing the United Kingdom will consist of "The Man That Gravity Forgot" Pac, Doug Williams, and "The Ripper" Paul Burchill. The third team would be "Team Drawn From a Hat" that will be decided the night of the show by drawing three names out of a hat!! 1) The opening contest of the evening, and the first match in the one night tournament for a shot at the Chikara Grand Championship, saw El Generico take on Icarus and Eddie Kingston in a three way elimination bout. Icarus and Generico started the contest. Icarus attempted to cheap shot Generico off the bat, but Generico ducked and sent Icarus into the corner. Generico followed it up by nearly removing the face of Icarus with an Ole Kick in the corner. Fortunately for Icarus, he was able to roll out of the ring before Generico could cover, bringing Eddie Kingston into the match. Kingston went right after Generico leveling him with chops and kicks, Generico tried several times to mount offense but was cut off by Kingston at every pass. Finally Generico was able to get away long enough to tag an unexpecting Icarus into the match. Kingston launched Icarus into the ring the hard way and went to work, but was soon met with a thumb to the eye. Icarus nailed Kingston with a low kick when the referee was distracted and drilled him with a pedigree. Instead of going for the cover, Icarus got Kingston up for the Blu-Ray and drilled Eddie into the buckle. Unfortunately for Icarus, Kingston kicked out at one! A shocked Icarus pulled up Kingston and hit the Wings of Icarus, and Kingston kicked out at two. Icarus quickly tagged Generico as Kingston started to rise to his feet looking angry. Generico booted Eddie in the face with a yakuza kick that stunned the big man, and Generico followed it by whipping Kingston into the turnbuckle and placing him on the top rope. Generico climbed up and drilled Eddie with possibly the sickest looking BRAINBUSTAH that has ever been seen in a Chikara ring. The three count was mandatory, and.... Eddie Kingston has been eliminated.Icarus jumped Generico as he got back to his feet and suplexed him into a submission, but Generico made the ropes. Icarus hefted Generico up for the Blu-Ray, but Generico slid out the back and drilled Icarus with a three quarter nelson suplex. Generico followed it with a regular Brainbuster, but Icarus managed to get a foot on the rope. Generico wasted no time sending Icarus into the ropes, only to be met with a spear. Icarus then drilled Generico into the turnbuckles with the Blu-Ray, but only got a two count. A frustrated Icarus stormed around the ring and set up for a spear. When Generico got to his feet, Icarus charged for the spear, but Generico leapfrogged him, causing Icarus to slam into the buckles, on the rebound Generico drilled him with a Michinoku driver for the 1, 2, 3. Icarus has been eliminated.El Generico advances to Round 2.2) The second match in the first round see's Ultramantis Black take on Ophidian and Jakob Hammermeier. Mantis and Jakob to start, but it doesn't last very long as Ultramantis is apparently in no mood of shenanigans tonight. A series of Mongolian Chops, followed by a full nelson slam leave Jakob aching on the mat. A double knee backbreaker and Cosmic Doom leave Jakob out on the mat, and covered for the three count. Jakob Hammermeier has been eliminated.Ophidian slithers into the ring and comes face to face with Mantis. Ophidian strikes abruptly with a thrust to the throat that leaves Mantis gasping for air. Ever the oppurtunist, Ophidian quickly leaps onto the back of Mantis and locks in the Death Grip. Mantis counters by throwing his head backwards, and Ophidian lets go after taking a brutal headbutt between the eyes. Mantis recovers and drills Ophidian with the Praying Mantis Bomb, but somehow Ophidian kicks out at two and three fourths. Mantis isn't phased as he drags Ophidian back to his feet and drops him with the Cosmic Disaster. This time there is no kick out. Ophidian has been eliminated.Ultramantis Black advances to Round 2. Before the next match can begin, Tim Donst takes the microphone from Gavin Loudspeaker and announced that the BDK will be entering King of Trios. Donst himself will of course be leading the team, along with Jakob Hammermeier, and Donst has promised that at King of Trios, he will produce Tursas to be the third member of the team, and when they win the tournament, he will lead the BDK back to glory! 3) Tim Donst, Jigsaw, and Frightmare meet as the first round continues. Donst and Frightmare to start, and a cocky Donst goes right to work on Frightmare. Side headlock, a should tackle, and an STO have Frightmare on the offensive, but Donst shows his arrogance by claiming how great he is, allowing Frightmare to roll out of the ring. Jigsaw drills Donst with a superkick, and follows it with Jig 'n' Tonic, but Donst kicks out with authority! Jigsaw steps back and allows Donst to get to his feet, and drills him with another brutal superkick, and hits another Jig 'n' Tonic for the one, two, three. Tim Donst has been eliminated.Frightmare sprung back into the ring and nailed Jigsaw with a springboard ddt, which he followed with a Fright Crusher for a two count. Attempting to capitalize, Frightmare nailed Jigsaw with the Kneecolepsy, but again Jigsaw managed to kick out at two. Frightmare headed up top, and went for a flying senton, but Jigsaw rolled out of the way. Frightmare still managed to get to his feet first, and attempted to drag Jigsaw up, but Jig rolled him up in a small package for a two count. Jigsaw then went on the offensive, drilling Frightmare with a dropkick and then dropping a knee on his head when he was down. Jig attempted Jig 'n' Tonic, but Frightmare countered it into a sunset flip powerbomb, but Jigsaw was too close to the ropes and got a hand out. Frightmare drug Jig to the center of the ring and dropped a series of quick elbows before setting up another Kneecolepsy, but Jigsaw rolled out of the way and Frightmare crashed down hard on his own knees. Jigsaw then plowed a superkick into the jaw of the now kneeling Frightmare for a long two count. Jig then unloaded with Quackendriver 1, but still Frightmare managed to get his shoulder up. Finally the Jig 'n' Tonic spelled the end. Frightmare has been eliminated.Jigsaw advances to Round 2.4) The final match of the first round is up next as Mike Quackenbush takes on Sara Del Rey, and Green Ant. Quack and Sara to start, and Sara rattles off a series of chops to Quack, followed with a nasty kick to the thigh. Quack takes a moment and they lock up again, this time Sara drills him with a European uppercut, and a kick to the midsection. Quack rolls out of the ring to regroup, and Green Ant enters. A tremendous back and forth between Sara and Green Ant, multiple reversals, strikes, and holds comes to an end when Sara lands a vicious kick to the gut and locks Green Ant in the Royal Butterfly, which she quickly turns into the suplex variant, for the one, two, thr..NO!! Sara can't believe it and lands stomp after stomp into the prone Green Ant. She then drags him to his feet and spikes him with a piledriver for the one, two, thr....NO!!!!! Sara is absolutely irate and picks Green Ant up, another Royal Butterfly Suplex, followed by a turn in the Royal Butterfly submission finally spells an end for the resiliant Green Ant. Green Ant has been eliminated.Quack steps back into the ring and Sara charges him, but is met with an armdrag. Quack wastes zero time and locks Sara Del Rey in the Chikara Special. Sara manages to reach the ropes after spending some time in the hold. Quack then pulls her to a standing position and drops her with the Quackendriver II, but Sara manages to kick out. Quack shrugs his shoulders and lifts Sara back up, Quack holds three fingers in the air and annihalates Del Rey with the Quackendriver III, BUT SARA KICKS OUT!!! Astonished, Quackenbush drags her to her feet and holds up one finger. The Quackendriver I follows and the three count DOESN'T HAPPEN!!! Sara Del Rey has now kicked out of three variations of the Quackendriver. Mike Quackenbush stares at the stirring Del Rey with a look of astonishment mixed with anger. His hand goes in the air again, this time holding up four fingers. Quackendriver IV connects, and the miracle is over. Sara Del Rey has been eliminated.Mike Quackenbush advances to Round 2.Intermission followed, during which Jay and Mark Briscoe made their way to ringside. Once intermission ended, Jay took a microphone much to the chagrin of the Chikara Office. Jay: "Now, before we come out here later tonight and beat the hell outta some ice creams.." Mark: "I hate ice cream, it's all cold and s**t" Jay: "Yeah, me too man. Anyhow, later tonight we gonna kick some ice cream ass, but before 'dat I wanna tell y'all that Dem Boys are coming to that KingaTrios thing, and we gonna win that whole sumbitch." Mark: "I might win that Ray of Voltron and Doris thing they doing too." Jay: "Yeah, you might. Anyhow, since we need a third person to win that s**t, and Papa Briscoe has a date that night, we decided to bring the R O H champion to help us win that bitch." Mark: "Kevin Steen" Jay: "Hell Yeah, Kevin Steen and Dem Boys are coming to Trios to represent Ring of Honor. We gonna win that s**t, and then Chicken and I are gonna win them Camping Pairs or whatever you call the tag belts 'round this place..." Mark: "and I am gonna be Ray of Voldemort" Jay: "and Mark gonna be voluptuous or whatever, but the fact is, Dem Boys 'bout to own this Chikara s**t and ain't nuthin' none y'all can do about it." The Briscoe's leave ringside, as Gavin begins to profusely apologize for their language. 5) The 16 man Anniversario Battle Royal was up next. Elimination were as follows: 1) Archibald Peck by Johnny Gargano 2) Delirious by Scott Park and Shane Matthews 3) Colt Cabana by Scott Park and Shane Matthews 4) Scott Parker by Sugar Dunkerton 5) Dasher Hatfield by Obariyon and Kobald 6) Sugar Dunkerton by Chuck Taylor 7) Grizzly Redwood by Soldier Ant 8) Fire Ant by Hallowicked 9) Johnny Gargano by Hallowicked 10) Obariyon by Shane Matthews 11) Hallowicked by Kodama and Kobald 12) Soldier Ant by Chuck Taylor 13) Kodama by Shane Matthews 14) Chuck Taylor by Shane Matthews 15) Kobald by Shane Matthews 'BIG MAGIC" SHANE MATTHEWS WINS THE ANNIVERSARIO BATTLE ROYAL!!!!6) The first match of the second round of the tournament will see El Generico and Ultramantis Black go one on one. A lock up to begin and Generico grabs a headlock. Mantis shoots Generico into the ropes, but Generico drops Mantis with a shoulder tackle. Mantis pops back up, but Generico takes him down with an armdrag. For the next several minutes, Generico would continue to maintain control, finally drilling Mantis with a three quarter nelson suplex, followed by a 450 splash which got a very long two count. Generico set Mantis up for the Brainbuster and hoisted him in the air, but Mantis managed to knee Generico in the head. Mantis came back down to his feet and lifted Generico up into suplex position, but quickly twisted it and brought Generico crashing down with Cosmic Doom. Ultramantis reached out and hooked the legs of his stunned opponent, and got the one, two, three. Ultramantis Black advances to the Finals.
7) In the final match of the second round, a team with three points toward title contention will meet one on one as Jigsaw takes on Mike Quackenbush. The match starts with a handshake, followed by a lock up. A solid ten minutes of technical action followed, reverses, exchanges, blocks, counters, submissions, strikes. You name it, you got it. At around the eleven minute mark, Quack nailed Jig with the Black Tornado slam and got a two count. Jigsaw fought his way back from that and drilled Quack with two superkicks in a row, and would have gotten a three count if Quack hadn't placed his foot on the rope. Quack blocked Jig's brainbuster attempt, and nearly pinned him with a small package. Jigsaw would rally back and hit Quackenbush with a Quackendriver I which stunned Quack, but he was still able to kick out. The end finally came when Quackenbush was signalling for Quackendriver III, but Jigsaw countered with a hard stomp to the foot and a knee strike to the face. Jigsaw mouted the top rope as the stunned Quack tried to recover and launched himself in a beautiful flying cross body, which Quackenbush ducked, sending Jigsaw hard to the mat. Quackenbush went to float over into a roll up pin, but Jigsaw stopped his momentum half way into the roll and held Quack's shoulders to the mat for the three count and the victory. Afterwards, both exhausted competitors shook hands again. Jigsaw advances to the Finals.
8) The Briscoe Brothers make their official Chikara debut, as they take on the Delicious Dairy Deviants, Los Ice Creams! El Hijo Del Ice Cream attempted to start the match with shenanigans, but was met with a swift punch to the face from Jay Briscoe. A superkick dropped Ice Cream, and a death valley driver nearly got the three count, but Ice Cream Jr. broke up the pin. As the refree got Jr. out of the ring, Mark entered and Dem Boys drilled Hijo with a high elevation double hip toss. Jay clapped his hands together and exited the ring as Mark took over. Mark broke out his Redneck Kung Fu and left Hijo Del Ice Cream laying. Mark wanted to continue his martial arts madness and hit a leaping kick that sent Ice Cream Jr. sailing off the apron into the guard rail. Jay called for the tag, and scooped Hijo Del Ice Cream up onto his shoulders as Mark climbed the ropes. A Doomsday Device later and.... The Briscoe Brothers have 1 Point.9) In the Maaaaaiiiiiiinnnnnnn Event of the Evening, the final match in the tournament to determine the next challenger for the Chikara Grand Championship as Ultramantis Black and Jigsaw go head to head! The match starts off evenly with both men exchanging moves. Mantis is the fresher of the two and takes the early advantage nailing Jigsaw with a series of Mongolian Chops and a falling neckbreaker. Mantis cranks on the neck in a headlock, but Jigsaw manages to elbow his way out of it. A Japanese armdrag follows from Jigsaw, and a double footstomp while Mantis is on the ground. Mantis gets back to his feet, but is met with a jumping enzuigiri from Jigsaw that gets a two count. Jig would head to the top turnbuckle, but Mantis caught him and slammed him hard into the ring. Rites of Spring followed, but Jigsaw managed to get his shoulder up at two. Mantis goes for an Argentine facebuster, but Jigsaw managed to slip away and nail Mantis with a dropkick. Mantis bounces off the ropes and staggers back into Jigsaw who levels him with Jig 'n' Tonic. An exhausted Jigsaw wastes precious moments before covering Mantis, and Mantis manages to kick out at two. Jigsaw scales the turnbuckle again and dives off with another beautiful crossbody, this one connects but Mantis manages to roll through and ends up on top. Jigsaw barely gets his shoulder up. Mantis gets to his feet and lets out a war cry before lifting Jigsaw up. He places Jigsaw between his legs and calls out for the Praying Mantis Bomb. Jigsaw manages to muscle Mantis up from that position, hooks him, and drops him with Jig 'n' Tonic. One, Two, Three..... JIGSAW HAS WON THE TOURNAMENT AND WILL CHALLENGE COLT CABANA FOR THE CHIKARA GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP TOMORROW NIGHT!!!!!!!!Mike Quackenbush and The Colony are all out to congratulate their friend on his big win. -CHIKARA PRESENTS- -THE 10TH SHOW OF SEASON 11- -ANNIVERSARIO- -THE OGG AND I- The show opens with Director of Fun Wink Vavvaseur coming to the ring and asking for the microphone. He announced the last two teams for King of Trios. The first will be a Spectral Envoy unit with Ultramantis Black, Frightmare, and a third partner to be named by Ultramantis at a later time. The second team, and the final team in King of Trios, who will be watching tonight's show from the balcony, will be these men.... for a few seconds this place was armageddon......THERE WAS A FIRE FIGHT!!!!The Chikarmy erupts as Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, and Alex Shelley step out from behind the curtain. They quickly mingle with the fans, shake hands with Wink, and head for the balcony. It's true.......GENERATION NEXT IS REUNITING FOR KING OF TRIOS!!!! 1) In the first match of the evening, "The Leader of The Band" Archibald Peck looks to end his losing streak, against The Colony's Green Ant. Archie starts with some Greco Roman marching before locking up with Green Ant. Green Ant takes control with some technical wizardy, which Archie fights valiantly to get out of, but fails. Green Ant continues to switch from one hold to another, until Archie grabs the rope and slides out of the ring. Veronica berates him, telling him to get back in the ring and not lose again. Archie get back into the ring and immediately goes on the attack, taking Green Ant down with a big dropkick out of a lock up, snapping off a quick legdrop, and heading confidently to the top rope for his finisher. It is way too early, as Green Ant rolls quickly out of the way, letting Archie splat into the mat. Green Ant quickly locks in the Chikara Special Green, and Archie has no choice but to tap out. Green Ant celebrates his victory, as an irate Veronica throws her baton to the floor and leaves the arena. Once Archie realizes what is happening, he chases behind her, yelling her name. 2) Two teams with 2 points do battle for a shot at the Campeones De Parejas, as 3.0 takes on The Batiri. Obariyon and Scott Parker start the match, which Obariyon takes control of with a big elbow smash. Obariyon charges in for a clothesline, but Parker takes him down with a drop toe hold and drops a big elbow on him. Obariyon gets back to his feet and is met with a back suplex, which sends him rolling to the floor. Kodama hits the ring and drills Parker with a vicious headbutt. He follows with a John Woo kick which leaves Parker rocked, Kodama shoots Jagged into the ropes, but is met with a back elbow. Parker makes a leaping tag, and Shane Matthes hits the ring. Matthews hits the ring like a force of nature, kicking Kodama in the gut and blasting him with a piledriver. Matthews went across the ring and knocked Obariyon off the apron with an elbow, then gave Kodama a second piledriver. Matthews took a moment to shake the ropes and scream out BOSTON CRAB, before hooking Kodama in said move. Obariyon managed to make it back to the ring and break up the submission before Kodama tapped. Parker grabbed Obariyon and tossed him to the floor, and Matthews went to the apron, leaving Parker with the injured Kodama. Parker acted quickly, rolling up the still stunned Kodama, but The Batiri member was able to kick out at two. Kodama got quickly too his feet, but Parker pressed the advantage, rushing Kodama who reacted suddenly and dropped Parker on the top rope with a stungun. Kodama crawled to Obariyon and tagged him in. Obariyon scaled the ropes and as soon as Scott Parker got to his feet, Obariyon destroyed him with the Flying DDT. Obariyon covered for the pin, but Matthews broke it up. Referee Bryce Remsburg pushed Matthews out of the ring as Obariyon continued the assault with the Air Raid Crash and the Enzu Knee Strike. A wrist clutch exploder driver followed with another pin attempt, and another break up by Matthews. Again Remsburg had to shove an irate Shane Matthews out of the ring. Obariyon went to the top again and delivered another Flying DDT that spiked Scott Parker directly on the top of his head. Obariyon covered, and again Matthews tried to come in, but he was cut off by a recovered Kodama. One, Two, Three. THE BATIRI HAVE 3 POINTS!3) An elimination six way singles match see's Icarus take on Eddie Kingston, Ophidian, Mike Quackenbush, Tim Donst, and El Generico, and one of them could potentially secure a title shot. The match started quickly as Eddie Kingston grabbed Icarus as he was teasing the crowd about pulling off his jacket. Eddie pulled the jacket up over his head and blistered his chest with a series of chops. Eddie then tore the jacket off and tossed it to the floor, which gave Icarus a chance to leap across the ring and tag Ophidian. A nearly 40 minute classic ensued from there, and the eliminations were as follows: (this show is going to be long enough, without me writing this book!) Elimination #1: Eddie Kingston by El Generico with the BRAINBUSTAH at 21:42 Elimination #2: Icarus by El Generico with a 450 Splash at 26:18 Elimination #3: Mike Quackenbush by Tim Donst after two SDT's at 32:02 Elimination #4: Ophidian by El Generico with the Spike Brainbuster at 36:37 Elimination #5: El Generico by Tim Donst with the SDT at 40:18 The Winner: Tim Donst4) Incoherence of Delirious and Hallowicked look to secure their 3rd point, but standing across from them are former teammates, Ultramantis Black and Frightmare. As soon as the bell rings, Ultramantis wastes no time thesz pressing Delirious and begins raining punches down on him. Frightmare does his best to hold back Hallowicked as Mantis pounds unmercifully on Delirious. The referee threatens to DQ Mantis if he doesn't stop throwing punches, so Mantis drags Delirious to his feet and drops him with a Praying Mantis Bomb. Then things got strange as Mantis stuck his hands down the pants of Delirious. After fishing around for a minute, Mantis lets out a loud laugh and pulls his hand out, and he is holding the Eye of Tyr. Frightmare finally gets tossed aside by the much larger Hallowicked who storms across the ring at Mantis. Mantis stops Hallowicked dead in his tracks as he holds the Eye of Tyr before his eyes. Mantis can be heard briefly chanting before yelling "YOU ARE FREE." Hallowicked shakes his head and then begins looking from Mantis, to Frightmare, to the fallen Delirious. Mantis and Frightmare both begin whispering to him, and finally Hallowicked nods his head. The three of them begin to leave the ring when the referee reminds them that there is a match going on. Frightmare continues to the back with Hallowicked, while Ultramantis drops down and pins Delirious. Ultramantis Black and Frightmare have 1 Point. Then things got stranger, as the three members of The Batiri slink out to ringside. Ultramantis raises his fists to fight, but instead The Batiri members just grab Delirious by the legs and pull him out of the ring. The three of them then carry Delirious to the back. Then things got strangest of all..... As Ultramantis stood in the ring holding the Eye of Tyr, from behind the curtain came Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw, and all three members of The Colony. Quack grabbed a microphone from Gavin and all five men slid into the ring. Quack: Mantis, that Eye of Tyr has caused nothing but trouble for everyone in Chikara since the day the cursed thing showed up. I know you now fight on the side of the Technicos, but as soon as the five of us saw you take it from Delirious, we decided that it's power and influence end here and now. So, we can do this peacefully and you can hand it over, or we can do it the hard way, and the five of us take it from you.Ultramantis paces angrily back and forth for a moment, before finally slapping the Eye of Tyr into the hand of Quackenbush. Mantis then angrily stormed out of the ring, as the five men watched on. The men in the ring all looked to one another, and each of them nodded in agreement. Quackenbush placed the Eye of Tyr on the canvas, and brought his foot crashing down on it. A loud bang echoed across the building, followed by all of the lights going out simultaneously. A moment of stunned silence, then a murmur begins in the crowd, Gavin can be heard yelling "Were going to intermission" as Chikara staff frantically begin to work opening doors to allow light into the building. INTERMISSION 5) After the problems in the building were taken care of, Jay and Mark Briscoe came out for their second match in Chikara. They challenged anyone in the back to come out and take them on because their the best team in the world, and they want another point. The challenge was quickly answered by Soldier Ant and Fire Ant of The Colony!! Mark and Fire to start, and Mark gets the advantage with a big slap and a headlock. A quick tag to brother Jay results in a double flapjack for Fire Ant. Jay makes another tag to Mark, and Fire Ant is met with a high elevation double toss. The impact is great, but fortunately for Fire Ant the momentum carries him out of the ring, allowing Soldier Ant to come in. Soldier Ant went to work on Mark Briscoe with a ferocity not usually seen in The Colony. Snap suplexes, saluting headbutts, roaring elbows, a Northern Lights Suplex, and not one, but two TKO's left Mark Briscoe a mess, but Mark continued to kick out of things. Soldier Ant, frustrated by his inability to put Briscoe away tagged Fire Ant. Fire Ant came in and went straight to work, but Jay Briscoe couldn't take anymore and stormed the ring. As referee Jon Barber was trying to put Jay back on the apron, Soldier came in and The Colony dropped Mark Briscoe with Ants Go Marching. Soldier knocked Jay off the apron, and Fire Ant covered Mark. Barber yelled for Soldier Ant to get out of the ring, to which he promptly complied by hitting a pescado on Jay on the floor. Barber dropped to the mat and counted One, Two, Three. The Colony has 1 Point.6) Up next the winner of last night's Anniversario tournament, Jigsaw gets his shot at the Chikara Grand Championship against champion Colt Cabana. Jigsaw wasted no time taking the advantage, stunning Cabana with a chop, nailing him with a hard kick to the gut, and following it with a wheelbarrow slam. A confident Jigsaw climbed to the top rope and nailed Cabana with a flying shoulderblock, then called for the Jig 'N' Tonic, which connected, but Cabana was able to kick out at two. Jigsaw was quickly to his feet, and stalking Cabana as he got up. A brutal superkick connected, followed by a second Jig 'N' Tonic. One, Two, Three! What a dominating win..... JIGSAW IS THE NEW CHIKARA GRAND CHAMPION!!Mike Quackenbush, The Colony, El Generico and more from the Technico locker room flooded the ring to congratulate the new champion. The former champion Colt Cabana took a moment to recover, but immediately went and shook hands with the man who defeated him. The celebration continued in the ring for a few minutes before heading back to the locker room. 7) IN THE MAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNN EVENT OF THE EVENING........2 out of 3 Falls for the Chikara Campeones De Parejas. The challengers, Dasher Hatfield and Sugar Dunkerton of The Throwbacks will take on the defending champions, Chuck Taylor and Johnny Gargano, FIST!! Sugar and Gargano to start, Gargano charged and gets nailed with a back body drop. Sugar goes to drop the elbow, but Gargano rolls out of the way. A stomp to the back, as Chuck Taylor enters the ring, and Sugar gets hit with an ankle trap/leg drop combo. Taylor exits, and Gargano hits the apron for the Slingshot Spear. It connects, but as Gargano takes a moment to gloat, Sugar rolls out of the ring. Dasher charges in, but Gargano sees him out of the corner of his eye, and gets Dasher with a drop toe hold. Taylor comes in and drops a leg on the back of Dasher's head, then quickly exits as Gargano rolls up Hatfield for a count of one. Gargano goes for an inverted atomic drop, but Dasher manages to hook his head and DDT him to the canvas. Dasher crawls to his corner and tags Sugar back in. Gargano manages to reach his corner, and tags in Taylor. Taylor and Sugar square off, Sugar charges in and Taylor snaps off a perfect dropkick. Taylor grabs the stunned Dunkerton and blasts him with a powerbomb into the corner. Taylor saunters around the fallen Sugar and slowly climbs to the top rope, and is shocked when Dunkerton leaps to his feet and tosses him hard to the canvas. A fired up Sugar drags Taylor to his feet and drops him back down with Air Dunkerton! One, Two, NO!!! Sugar whips Taylor into the turnbuckle and follows him in with a big lariat. Sugar asks the fans if they want another, and when he gets a positive response charges in with another, but is nailed with a back elbow from Taylor, who quickly tags Johnny. Gargano tries to capitalize on the stunned Dunkerton, and nail him with an ace crusher, but Sugar pushes him off, causing Gargano to crash and burn. Sugar makes a tag of his own to Dasher. Dasher comes in on fire and gets the 7th Inning Stretch on Gargano, which he follows with a tree of woe, run the bases dropkick. Gargano crashes to the mat, and rolls out of the ring before Hatfield can grab him. Taylor quickly enters the ring, and levels Dasher with a jumping big boot for a count of two. A frustrated Taylor drags Dasher to his feet and plants him with Sole Food, which gets another two count. A now irate Taylor drags Hatfield to his feet and makes a terrible mistake, as he angrily tosses him out of the ring. Sugar comes in On Fire! and drills Taylor with a bulldog. Air Dunkerton follows, but Johnny Gargano breaks up the pin before the referee can start the count. As Bryce Remsburg pushed Johnny Gargano out of the ring, Dasher entered and together The Throwbacks hit the Grandslam Dunk. Sugar cover Taylor for the One, Two, Thr....GARGANO BREAKS IT UP!! Bryce again begins to shove Gargano out of the ring, and again Dasher enters quickly and Chuck Taylor is nailed with a second Grandslam Dunk!! Dasher rolls out of the ring, and grabs the foot of Gargano, yanking him out of the ring, while Sugar went for the cover. One, Two, Three!! The Throwback Win Fall #1Johnny Gargano switched places with his fallen partner, and Sugar stayed in the ring to begin the second fall. Sugar went to work quickly, dropping Gargano with a shoulder tackle, and then blasting him with a big lariat. Sugar went to pick Gargano up, but Gargano nailed him with a low blow that Bryce was out of position to see. Gargano then blasted Sugar with an enzuigir, and Lawn Darted him into the corner. A two count would follow, but Sugar was able to kick out. Gargano scaled the ropes, but Sugar leapt at him and knocked his feet out, causing Gargano to crotch himself on the top rope. A huge superplex followed, but Gargano managed to lift his shoulder at the count of two. Sugar peppered Johnny with punches, and then blasted him with a big lariat, which scored another two count but Gargano got his foot on the rope. Sugar drug Gargano to his corner and tagged in Dasher who immediately blasted Johnny with the Grand Slam. ONE, TWO, THR....NO....TAYLOR BREAKS UP THE PIN!!! Sugar hits the ring and clotheslines himself and Taylor over the top rope to the floor, leaving Dasher and Gargano all alone in the ring. Dasher grabbed Gargano and whipped him into the corner, Dasher followed him in with a clothesline which left Gargano slumped into the corner. Dasher headed to the apron and up to the top rope, where he grabbed Gargano and pulled him onto the ropes with him. What followed was....A SUPER GRAND SLAM!!! Sugar and Taylor continued to brawl on the floor, as Dasher Hatfield covered Johnny Gargano.....ONE....TWO....THREE!!!! The Throwbacks Win Fall #2
THE THROWBACKS ARE THE NEW CAMPEONES DE PAREJAS!!!!!For the second time tonight, the technico locker room clears out as a huge celebration takes place in the ring. The show ends with Dasher Hatfield and Sugar Dunkerton holding the Campeones De Parejas high above their heads, while Jigsaw does the same with the Chikara Grand Championship. Quackenbush, Cabana, The Colony, El Generico, 3.0, and more stand behind them clapping. Then the camera pans to the balcony where we see Aries, Strong, and Shelley nodding in approval.
