THE FLYING TITANS VS THE EVIL ONES
And here we go again. Sooner or later, someone will get two wins and end this thing. Right?Death Knight survives two TITAN DROP finishers from Lord Nexus, kicking out at one both times but is unable to survive the Cobra Nerve Stopper from Pit Viper as the Titans finally get the win over the Evil Ones.

THE FEDERATION DEFENSE FIGHTERS VS THE EVIL ONES
Things had taken a drastic change. The first two times these teams met, the Evil Ones were in position to win the Cup but could not get the job done. Now, the Evil Ones had to win to stay alive and hope for a third playoff round. Star Warrior made sure that there would be a Cup Champion with a quick NOVA LAUNCH and pin on Death Knight. That meant the FDF would face the Titans and the winner would be the 2087 VX Cup Three-Man Champions.

THE FEDERATION DEFENSE FIGHTERS VS THE FLYING TITANS
Finally. This was it! The Cup was at ringside. Winner take all. Could the Titans continue to get the best of the FDF? One move. Sam's Slam on Pulsar. 1-2-kickout! It was almost over, just like that! After that, the match settled down and everyone got involved at some point or another. Omega got a 2 count on Lord Nexus with the TOMAHAWK THRUST. Pulsar tried a turnbuckle charge and Sam moved and Pulsar hit the turnbuckle and went down. Sam covered for a 1 count. Star Warrior tagged in and hit Pulsar with boxing jabs and made the cover and just missed getting the three count. Star Warrior dropped Pulsar with a karate chop and went for the win but Pit Viper and Lord Nexus came in to make the save. After Omega gave Pulsar a falling karate chop from the ring apron to the floor, Sam delivered SAM'S ATOMIC DROP. Pit Viper came in for the save but Sam gave the Titans the Noggin' Knocker and covered Pulsar for the three count and the Federation Defense Fighters finally were able to defeat the Titans and capture the Cup.

THE FEDERATION DEFENSE FIGHTERS 2-1* Won the second playoff to become Cup Champions

THE SOCIETY OF DEATH 0-3
Was this the last hurrah for Commander Sam and Omega? As neither is likely to be able to win the Singles Cup, they will both have one more shot. Omega will team with Star Warrior while Sam teams with Massif in the Tag Team Cup.

For the 2087 Tag Team VX Cup, 11 teams were chosen to participate. The seedings were as follows:
1. THANTOS AND COMRADE TERROR
2. THE GREEK GODS
3. GLADIATORS OF AETHRA
4. MASSIF AND COMMANDER SAM
5. STAR WARRIOR AND OMEGA
6. VANITY AND KILLER QUEEN
7. THE SPACECROPPERS OF NEPTUNE
8. INVINCIBLE KRAKAN AND MUTANT
9. EXO-KING AND DEATH KNIGHT
10.EXECUTIONER AND GHENGIS KHAN
11.PIT VIPER AND PULSAR
In order to be able to create a manageable round robin schedule, it was decided to take the bottom four seeds, have them participate in a round robin qualifier and the winner would then get the 8-seed in the actual Cup Tournament. The qualifying rounds would go as follows:

INVINCIBLE KRAKAN AND MUTANT VS PIT VIPER AND PULSAR

Superb performance by the FDF to capture the 2087 THREE-MAN TAG VX CUP... I don't expect them to fare quite so well in the tag team tournament... This one should belong to the Greeks or the Gladiators... But, watch out for Thantos and Terror... They could easily play the spoilers in this event... Can't wait!

INVINCIBLE KRAKAN AND MUTANT VS PIT VIPER AND PULSAR
0-3 in the Three-Man Cup and now relegated to the qualifying round of the Tag Team Cup. This can not make Krakan happy. At least he gets a chance right away to take out his frustrations on the Titans. Pulsar gets a quick two count on Mutant with a flying leg scissors. Pit Viper executes a shoulder breaker to get another 2 count on Mutant. Pulsar gets in one more flying leg scissors and is able to hold Mutant down for the 3 count as Pit Viper cuts off Invincible Krakan and we have a huge upset already as the woes for the SOD continue in the VX Cup.
