As a huge fan of all kinds of wrestling games, I'm loving this Kickstarter for a game called Rumbleslam. It's wrestling mixed with fantasy and comes with some really great miniatures. It's a little pricey but I'm going all in at the £300 level. Check it out if you're a fan of wrestling games. Would love to see more stretch goals unlocked.

Looks really cool. Been waiting to see if someone would do a Blood Bowl style wrestling game and this seems to be it. A bit pricey, but thats a miniature game for you. Thanks for sharing Grant.

That seems really cool but way out of my price range. I hope it does well (it seems to be doing well already) Grant, you'll have to update us once you get it. Let us know how good it is.

So, after a long wait, the game arrived. I'm disappointed in it as all the miniatures came in pieces so that you can assemble them yourserself. Something I simply do not have the time, nor patience to do. I was hoping I could just play but that is not the case. If anyone on the boards here is interested in making a deal for the game, PM me. I got just about all the stuff available through kickstarter. Spent about $300 but would be willing to let it go fo way less. Let me know.

This is why I personally don't mess w Kickstarters - never know what you're going to get. For all you know, they had plans to give you fully assembled miniatures, and simply realized late into the project that they were in over their heads. Good luck getting most of your money back. That's a serious investment to get burned on. Can you return it based on misrepresentation, claiming you would not have invested had you known all this ahead of time? Worth a try.

This makes me reluctant to throw money at the wrestling games on Kickstarter now.
Kickstarter is a crap shoot at best. Sometimes the organizer is responsible and you get a professional looking product and other times you're still waiting for the finished product five years later.

Sometimes the organizer is responsible and you get a professional looking product and other times you're still waiting for the finished product five years later. I've backed a ton of games through KS and this is the first time something like this has happened. Apparently for miniature games, if it's listed as a 'board game' then the miniatures come pre-assembled. If it's listed as a 'miniature game' then there will be assembly required. I told them I do think that if that was the case, it should have been spelled out clearer in the description. I know now.

Yeah, they should have noted that in the description.
I've contributed to at least two Kickstarters where all the money went toward the perks and the actual product was never produced.

I tend to only back things from people that have a track record of delivering what they promise.
