Charm City Underground
Baltimore, Maryland
Episode #39 - Season 2
(At the ringside announce table sits Todd Grisham by himself)
(Kenny Omega comes down to the ring to start the show.)
KO: My message today is very simple. Adam Cole, last week I was just getting started with you and we have some unfinished business so I am calling you out right now. Let's go!
(Adam Cole is out quickly and heading towards the ring but both Matt and Nick Jackson are close behind him trying to catch up.)
AC: Let's do it. Get an official.
(Matt Jackson has his own mic.)
MJ: Listen. You both have to listen to me right now. This is all a huge mistake. Nick and I have information that will change everything. We've all been duped by the one man that we thought we already to care of and that is Jim Cornette. Adam, Cornette somehow hacked your cell phone. He was the one that sent the messages to Kenny. He was the one that got Kenny to come here. He also didn't retrieve the Charm City Ta Team Belts from those wacko Hardys. He actually paid to have new belts made. Here's a snapshot the receipt (Holding up his phone.) Guys you don't need to do this we need to stay together and The Elite can be as strong as we should be.
(Jim Cornette has his own mic.)
JC: Hold on just one dog gone minute. I will not have you besmirch my good name. I've done no such thing. Everything you've said about me is fake news. Now I have worked extremely hard to get back in the good graces of this company and I've been doing everything from picking up dry cleaning to sweeping the locker room. I am a legend in this business but I will do whatever it takes to right the wrongs of last year. Plus can you really trust the competency of Colt Cabana and those two buffoons that walk around with him. I barely know how to use a cell phone and receipts can be doctored with a computer. I think you're all just paranoid.
KO: I don't care. I don't care about any of it. I know that I want Adam in the ring and I am willing to challenge him to a match at "The Last in Line" in a No Disqualification - Falls Count Anywhere Match.
AC: I accept. I accept. You've always been jealous of me and I will be happy to slap you silly.
(The Young Bucks are trying to calm both men down as Cole charges Omega. CCW officials are waved out by Cornette and we have a pull apart to kick off the program.)
-CCW Women's Heavyweight Title Match-
1) Veda Scott (c) and MsChif fought a NO-CONTEST @ 6:45 when both Madison Eagles and Christina Von Eerie hit the ring.
-Early in the match MSchif dominated the proceedings and had the champ in deep trouble. Scott dodged a turnbuckle charge and went to work on the legs of the larger challenger. The advantage didn't last long as MsChif hit a sitout chokeslam and screamed towards the crowd. She went to finish things off before she saw a returning Madison Eagles jumping up on the apron. She went for her but was hit with a kick. Christina Von Eerie was out as well and grabbed Eagles leg, The two started brawling and soon went into the ring. A pier six brawl ensued and the ref threw the match out. Scott rolled out and tried to escape further punishment.
Backstage: (Marty Scurll is with Will Ospreay and Zack Sabre jr.)
MS: Alright lads you have a golden opportunity tonight. If you can get past those two oafs called War Machine you will get a shot at the tag team titles.
ZSJ: Sounds good by me but can I really trust you after what you did in the Rumble last week? I eliminated the most wrestlers of anyone in that match and it was you that kicked me in the berries to send me out.
WO: Zack. This is what Villain Club is all about. You have to willing to do what is necessary to win. I'm sure Marty didn't mean anything by it mate.
MS: Of course not. Of course not. Will's right. We all wanted a shot at the gold and I did what I had to but it doesn't mean that I won't be in your corner tonight. Let's go boys.
-#1 Contenders Match Tag Team Titles-
2) Villain Club (Will Ospreay & Zack Sabre Jr.) (w/Marty Scurll) beat War Machine (Hanson & Raymond Rowe) when Scurll hit Hanson with his umbrella and gave Sabre the pin at 11:09.
- A bit of a mild upset as the speed of Villain Club kept the larger team off balance. Scurll helped as well as when all four men were in the ring the ref held Rowe back to the corner and Scurll tossed Sabre his umbrella. He looked at it and then the crowd and whacked Hanson across the face. He tossed it back out and cradled him up for the three count.
-In-Ring-
(Sami Callihan is demanding time to speak.)
SC: Chris Hero you won the right to get another title shot for the CCW Title and frankly I could care less about that. But I am calling you out right now to settle what's between us once and for all.
(Chris Hero is out.)
CH: Personally I don't have time for small fish such as yourself. I've already proved that I'm better than you and at "The Last in Line" I'll finally get the belt to prove it to everyone here and around the world.
SC: Don't you have any pride? Don't you have any guts? If you've beaten me already then get in here and do it again. Ask your precious fans what they think about it?
(Hero looks to the crowd and they cheer him on. So he steps through the ropes to confront Callihan. Sami kicks Hero in the groin and drops him with a DDT. He then brings in a steel chair and wedged Hero's head in it. Stokley Hathaway and "The Prestige" Cedric Alexander slowly make way to the ring. Callihan leaps off with double knees and Hero is writhing in pain.)
SH: You look down Chris. What's wrong? Just remember that I am always two steps ahead of everyone.
(Just then Moose hit the ring chase the heels off and they left as he had a chair of his own in his hands.)
3) "Machine" Brian Cage pinned "Big Nasty" Eric Watts (w/ Larry Dallas) with WEAPON X @ 3:35.
-Larry Dallas was out saying that he had purchased the contract of Watts' from Stokley Hathway because he had a special job for him and that is to get rid of Brian Cage and Shaun Ricker and Cage is up first. Cage dominated the match as Watts hit little offense. He finished things off with Weapon X. Cage then went after Dallas and rolled him into the ring. He begged off and Shaun Ricker was out as well. Cage was ready to strike his former manager before Ricker attacked Cage from behind and hit a huge lariat. He stomped away while Dallas laughed as he made the money sign with his fingers. Ricker and Dallas left together amid the boos of the crowd.
