GWF REPORT (TAKEOVER 2112 CARDS 1213 - 1216) Champions
*GWF Heavyweight Champ: Murdok (Top Contender: Terminus) *GWF Tag Champs: Blacklist (Top Contenders: Desolation Factor) *GWF Interplanetary Champ: Euritar (Top Contender: Scion Nexus) *GWF Ladies Champ: Amazonia (Top Contender: Thrash) Latest News: Murdok taking possession of the Heavyweight belt captures all the headlines. Many fans had feared all his scaremongering although had assumed the ROC would be able to maintain control and police him effectively. Stopping his lust for power ever becoming anything more than a wrestling storyline. However his winning of the belt has convinced Murdok he can rule over more than just the GWF. It does seem absurd but Murdok warns the people of the cosmos that their freedom will soon be at an end and he will build an army to enforce his will. Corporal Aegis has tried to reassure that the ROC will keep him under control and the war will be always be confined to the ring. Let’s hope he is right. Unfortunately Aegis won’t get the chance to try and take the belt off Murdok himself. At least not yet. Terminus has been named as the top contender for now. Am sure Aegis will drop even further down the pecking order should Blacklist lose the tag belts and Mensar comes into the mix as a fully fledged singles competitor.
Trisis already has a lead on the main event at GALACTICON already. With Cordanus looking to thrust Mensar into the main event regardless of anything else that’s going on. The opponent being pencilled in is none other than Thunder. One of those guys Cordanus harbours bitterness towards for beating him on his original run as Tyranny. At least it’s not someone easy to try and make Mensar look good. It’s a big deal for Thunder if this turns out to be true. His form has been very mixed and he’s out of the Heavyweight belt picture. That would all change if he beats Mensar. Plus the fans would likely do something unthinkable and cheer an Aethran. A conversation was eavesdropped by a brave GWI columnist during a recent dark show. He recorded part of it and put it straight up on the site. It was between Krakan and Dark Justice. Apparently Krakan is keen to take further advantage of biased decisions from Cordanus whilst the Hitmen are still in favour. Krakan urges Justice to request a shot at the Interplanetary belt (despite not deserving it). Justice is reluctant “I’m not contacting him now. He’s in Spica in a completely different timezone. He’ll probably be sleeping and go nuts if disturbed”. Krakan barks back “I couldn’t care less. Grow some balls and ask the question”. That’s all there was but the next day we learned that there would be no title shot. So either Justice chickened out or Cordanus just refused (it was actually the latter). Is a shame because it would have been funny if Cordanus (in order to keep the belt with Euritar) asked Krakan to then shoot his own guy. Wouldn’t have put that past him and I’d probably of gone with it. You got to respect the roll of the dice though. Is Avenging Warrior beating his demons? He got through the month without smashing anything or anyone up with his crowbar or getting into police altercations. He even remained relatively calm as he witnessed the disastrous showing of his team in the main event of FESTIVAL OF WRESTLING. Something that must of hurt a great deal. Omega is not so sure though. He privately confides to Solaris “until he ditches that masked persona we cannot be sure of what he might do, I fear another violent incident is just around the corner”. Thantos reacts to criticisms over forcing his son to wrestle through illness by again commenting “I did the right thing and I’ll do the same to Bloodline. They are learning from the best. In my day I would have crawled over broken glass to wrestle”. Maybe there’s something in it as the way Takeover dismantled the Avenging Warriors in the Aethran Ultimate Escape match was very significant and Encubus played a very pivotal role. I don’t plan it as such but occurred to me I’ve been booking certain guys like crazy so far this year. I can kind of understand with someone like Mensar as he’s new and a real big deal. However it surprised me to see Draconian Sheik so active. It’s amazing how a new card/change of team can breathe such life into a character.
Big publicity stunt by Cordanus as he flexes his Commissioner muscles and forces Enigma and Prodigy to face each other next month. He is trying to tear the Light Speed team apart by preying on their old rivalry. Naturally they think the Commissioner is out of order for doing this and think they cannot be forced into it. Cordanus has not yet revealed how he has pulled this off without their signatures on a match contract.
Nora Pelf seeks to put rumours of an affair with Paragon to bed after getting slammed by the media. She claims “I am not attracted to him. I don’t like big guys. Or men with lots of money anymore. Johnny is all I need”. Nobody believes her but Johnny Rocket refuses to smell the coffee. Although we might not be seeing him at ringside much with Paragon (if it all) from now on.
Sir Ender is trying to force his way into the news by performing acts to help damsels in distress. He tried to help Ms. Liberty by attacking Velar after she’d lost to her. Then he stuck his nose into the Supernova-Amazonia match. In each case nobody wanted his help and Amazonia even used the tip of her sword against him. He isn’t getting the message and actually claims behind the scenes that these women were very grateful. He says “I won’t mention names but one fair lady invited me to her bed chamber as a way of saying thank you”. Suffice to say the deluded Sir Ender is inspired to carry on with these so called good deeds. He better be careful as he might of made an enemy of Terminus for what he did to Velar. It’s whether Terminus can actually be bothered.
On the back of the above a special mention must go to Amazonia. The first wrestler to win ten titles of the same type. We all know it’s easier to rack up a multitude of title wins in the thin womens roster but it is an incredible achievement and nobody can ever take that away from her. She was the first to do it. She might be soon to achieve another first as the rumour is that she is being groomed to become the first ever female to enter the hallowed hall of fame. The next inductees are due at the end of 2113.
Several other heroes are the subject of stories about apparent discontent. Reacting to events during the month GWI.com suggests disharmony between Twin Blood and also Rising Sun growing jealous of attention lavished on Scion Nexus. Hope for the sake of the heroes this is all false. We really need them all banding together in these difficult times. INJURED – Velar (1), Thunder (2); SUSPENDED – none
WRESTLER OF THE MONTH: MURDOK - ominously captures the Heavyweight belt during a run that included victories over Pegasus and Max Shield (twice). No question that he didn’t deserve the award. Nobody is sitting comfortably at the moment and hoping this doesn’t spell doom for the GWF. TAG TEAM OF THE MONTH: TITAN HONOR - anyone who keeps tabs on the dark show results will know how well they’ve been doing and now they have brought their talents to the big screen. They gave the in-form Ninja Assassins a rude shock by easily defeating them.

CARD 1217 – Luna Auditorium: Malice humiliates Mandrill in a Titan Death match. With injuries still bothering Thunder it means Malice gets another singles outing. He’s already beaten Vendetta one-on-one recently. This would provide a great chance to build on that. Mandrill reckons Thunder is not really injured and says he is a chicken for letting even weaker Aethrans take his place. Mandrill has also not given up hope of winning being Heavyweight champion again and knows he must be close to getting a shot at it soon. He suspects Commissioner Cordanus is less likely to make things difficult for villain wrestlers than any of the heroes. However he does himself no favours here by slumping to an alarming loss. Mandrill was dominating at first. Beginning to wear Malice down after using both his finishers. Then he decides to take advantage of the Titan Death rules by taking things outside. This suited Malice perfectly and he turned the tide of the match. Once Mandrill had been smashed into the ring steps Malice threw him back inside the ring and went for a speculative pin after a front backbreaker. The dice favoured him with a low roll and he had taken a major scalp. One that might give Vengeance food for thought about who should be the singles star of the Gladiators. With rumours that Thunder might face Mensar in the main event of GALACTICON it is a match he must deliver in. Or he might find himself back tag teaming with Overkill.
Draconian Sheik defeated Cordanus by DQ. A ripple of support for Cordanus? Some of the crowd felt sorry for him although DM on commentary wonders why “Cordanus signed the match, he must be up to something”. Sure enough he was. Not only did he have Mensar with him at ringside but Mike Fortune was stationed on a platform above the last row of the crowd. He was trying to stay in the shadows although an eagle eyed fan rumbled him. It didn’t change much though as Mike Fortune would still be taking the shot if Cordanus was in trouble which was inevitable. It did not take long til he was called into action. Drac had downed Cordanus by prodding him with a sharp object. Before he could inflict greater damage a fizzing sound was heard and then Drac leaps backwards and clutches his arm. Clearly he’d been shot but it seemed to of just grazed him. Could have been far worse. It was enough to give Cordanus a chance and he even gets to a point where he signalled to Mensar for TOTAL MASTERY. The old school ref would not be fooled by the distraction of Cordanus or influenced. He stops the move taking place. The match continues on for a while after this with Cordanus faring much better than expected. Mainly down to the shooting though. However Drac eventually gets on top and was about to finally finish things off with SADISTIC HAMMERLOCK. Of course Mensar wasn’t about to let things end that easily and enters the ring to pummel Drac and draw the DQ. Satisfied that Drac was suitably beaten up Cordanus signals to Mensar to end the attack and they leave. Cordanus later brags that nobody has pinned him yet since he has returned to wrestling and is proud of that fact. He even says ‘maybe I should reward myself’. That means he might give himself a singles push in the future. I suppose with Mensar at ringside anything is possible. Stars and Stripes win a fierce battle against the SWAT Team. Commando Sam just comes across as mental rather than fiercely patriotic as he wildly waves the American flag whilst leading out Stars and Stripes. However most of the fans are from Earth so they are hearing more cheers than they’ve done in a while. Fair to say that Stars and Stripes have been doing pretty well as a team since they joined the GWF and are slowly moving up the rankings. They were fancied to win this one over the SWAT Team to continue on that trajectory. It’s far from simple though as US. Male gets marooned in the ring for a long time. US. Male has got a real engine on him though and hangs on even after THE BIG PAYBACK. When the hot tag comes American Guy is like a man possessed. It gets the crowd going. After this we get several minutes of back and forth with plenty of failed pins until American Guy comes again as he uses his suss temper to build up enough rage against Trench. Hitting him with AMERICAN POWER. Before he can pin him Grovel instinctively enters the ring as if to help Trench only to stand there confused. American Guy just picks Trench up and throws him at Grovel knocking it out the ring. He then carries on pinning Trench. Warfare wasn’t much help. He was out of gas and still on the apron. Commando Sam milks the win and salutes the happy crowd whilst shouting out “trust your Uncle Sam, he knows best”. Wolf pinned Son of Ram. Wolf heard through the grapevine that Mensar might be planning to try to attack him during this match. He actively encourages it and went so far as to have a bullseye 🎯 painted on his back. Maybe he shouldn’t have let on that he knew as Mensar never showed. Son of Ram wasn’t hesitant about trying to go after the bullseye though and although there is a big gap in ability he actually gave Wolf a decent match. Wolf was a bit lax in the early part and even had to rely on Avenging Warrior pulling a distraction so he could turn the tide by smashing Ram into a ring post when outside the ring. That drew some disapproval from some of the crowd. After that Wolf easily beat Ram after locking on SAVAGE FACE CLAW. However he looks disappointed despite the win. He really wanted a ruck with Mensar. Avenging Warrior wasn’t much good for consoling. He seemed equally up for a brawl and I am sure would have used the crowbar he was holding at the drop of a hat. Serpentine beats Nora Pelf by count-out. Bizarrely Paragon chaperones Nora. It’s as if they are not even bothering to keep things secret although Nora still has the barefaced cheek to deny anything afterwards “everyone’s got the wrong end of the stick, he’s just a really good friend and Johnny approves”. He does prove a decent wall of security with Hunger stalking the outside. Johnny would have been less able to protect Nora for sure. Anyway the match doesn’t last very long at all. When it is clear Nora is outmatched Paragon reaches into the ring and drags her out. He then carries Nora off for what he later says “her own safety”.
Off The Wall overcomes Transformer. Despite a dominant start from Monad he stumbles after his team loses a four man brawl following a pin save. The cloned Jester managed to pin him after a Joker Flip.

CARD 1218 – EUROPA GARDEN:
Desolation Factor defeated Blacklist to become new tag champs. Cordanus makes Mangus an offer he cannot refuse by offering him a degree of creative control if he does not appear at ringside with Desolation Factor. Cordanus doesn’t want to end up getting branded if Blacklist loses even though he is not actually from Earth and it probably wouldn’t have happened (surely Mangus wouldn’t of dared). Also when push comes to shove he probably doesn’t want to lose the tag belts. Instead he will allow Mensar to pursue singles belts whilst being a tag team champion. Desolation Factor were still a massive threat though and Cordanus knows deep down these two juggernauts might even be too much for Mensar to cope with on his own and indeed they do finally drop the belts. Not without a huge effort from Mensar who fought hard. Unfortunately Cordanus wanted glory for himself and kept insisting on a tag to come in for a cheap shot or to try and finish off. He nearly did too after the Mensar assisted TOTAL MASTERY. On more than one occasion he got caught and Mensar was always bailing him out. The fact Cordanus escaped serious harm several times made him bolder and bolder. He got caught again and tossed outside by Ruin. Immediately Rack ambled down off the ring apron and threw him back and they then coordinated their RACKED AND RUINED finisher. As Rack then covered Ruin headed off Mensar and the two behemoths had a brief power struggle. The ref was hesitating to count the pin against Cordanus (his boss after all) but had no choice or it would have been a farce. Desolation Factor had won the belts. It’s been a disaster for Takeover losing two titles tonight although if the rumours are correct he wanted Euritar to lose the IP belt. Cordanus later says the loss of the tag belts is no big deal as they were getting in the way of singles aspirations. He seemed pleased that Desolation Factor were the ones to now hold them and calls them a talented and friendly team managed by someone of great integrity. Not sure Mangus has ever been profiled like that. He must think he is in some kind of alternate universe being labelled as such and also regularly hearing the fans cheering when his team faces off against Commando Sam’s FDF. Scion Nexus upsets Euritar to win the Interplanetary belt. A pre-match leak suggests Cordanus now wants Euritar to drop the IP belt so he can go after it. Armed with this priceless info nugget Scion Nexus looks confident that he can pull off the win. We have a decent contest take place. Euritar starts the better but Scion Nexus grows into it and after THE RISE AND FALL a second time gets the pin. The crowd goes mad for the outcome. Scion looks overcome with emotion and celebrates with the belt. He is totally oblivious to what poor Lord Nexus was having to go through outside. Lord Nexus had seen Splatter coming down the runway presumably for a lottery attack. A hit on someone like Scion would surely of been at the behest of Krakan with nothing random about it. However Lord Nexus bravely confronted him and before Splatter could raise his weapon Lord Nexus floored him with a Titan Drop. With the help of Titan Honor who had now come out Splatter is then dragged away so he cannot ruin this moment. Lord Nexus then has time to join his son in the ring without him ever knowing how close he’d been to a horror attack. This was a fabulous outcome but spare a thought for Euritar. With this turn of events Euritar looks in limbo. Already he may exhausted his usefulness to Cordanus. Poor guy doesn’t whether he’s coming or going. Despite the loss Euritar maintained dignity and even posted a “well done” below Scion’s Spacebook picture of him posing with the belt in the bowels of the venue. Maybe it’s with betting on a hero turn for Euritar in the not so distant future.
Deadly Sins overcame Titan Honor. A title shot for Titan Honor might be coming sooner than they could ever hoped if they win again here. Although they looked pretty snookered by the presence of Lorelei. Blade couldn’t believe she’d manage against him. She is as nice as pie about it and offers to leave until Lord Nexus intervenes and after a conversation with Blade seems to resolve things. Even though Lorelei stayed it took the wind out of her sails as she did very little to pilot her team apart from clap occasionally. Deadly Sins were a little too wild and strong for the Titan team to end their good run. Blade never got out of the line of fire and was beaten after THE LEVIATHAN from Vyper. Lord Nexus defended Lorelei later “Blade’s fine. He knows she has to look after her team and she knows he can’t be kept wrapped in cotton wool. It was kind of like a test for him and he passed with flying colours”. Tocsin beats Splatter. Something has been bugging Splatter about Tocsin. He thought Mutant was about the filthiest and smelliest thing to of ever have been in the GWF and feels pleased that he has said so much interaction with it and never heaved once. Then someone said that’s nothing compared to getting up close and personal with Tocsin. Splatter had to satisfy his curiousity and threw out the challenge. Tocsin was happy to take him on and test his threshold out. On getting up close and personal Splatter almost vomits under his mask. This truly was worse than Mutant. He manages to swallow back whatever was in his mouth and gets on with it. Becomes quite entertaining as neither holds back. There was nobody at ringside with either which made their penchant for illegal finishers risky. However they went for them anyway and the ref recognising the type of competitors they were was very lenient. Splatter had done well to survive early onslaught from Tocsin that included HAZARDOUS WASTE twice. He swings with MEET ARSENAL and gets away with it. Tocsin musters a kick out though. Splatter tries to then wear down with The Shredder which is now an add 1 move. Not enough though. Tocsin comes on strong again and stops Splatter with SENTRY STUNNER.
Dreggs eventually beats Necros. The evil Necros spooks the younger crowd and really plays up to the Dracula stereotype. Many of them won’t remember his previous days in the GWF about 15 years ago. They see him as a new individual to fear. I guess for any kid the GWF is as scary as it is exciting what with characters like Necros, Murdok and the Ravagers suddenly springing up. They are a little more used to the likes of the Gladiators and the Brymstonians even though they are just as much and perhaps an even more dangerous threat. Anyway back to Necros who was terrorising Dreggs with threats of feasting on his blood 🩸. Dreggs is undaunted. He maybe a tag specialist but he can handle himself solo. Plus he’s fought so many wars in the ring in the past. He aggressively goes about the match and as the minutes tick by Necros becomes less able to cope. However Dreggs really struggles to finish Necros off. As he deals repeated finishers and pin attempts from which Necros keeps surviving Dreggs mouths ‘how you supposed to kill one of these things off’. Persistence is key as puts a 7th fatigue token on Necros and then goes for DREGGS OF DEFEAT which finally ends it Terminus defeated Sir Ender. Poor Sir Ender might be regretting what he did to Velar now. Although instead of quaking in his boots he embraces the chance to face Terminus and finally get the big push he’s deserved all along in his mind. It’s surprising Terminus entertained this as his eyes are firmly on capturing the Heavyweight belt later in the month. Sir Ender gallops toward the ring with one arm extended like he thinks he is a super hero about to take flight. Instead of going upwards he is soon going downwards into the canvas when Terminus gets a hold of him. Although Terminus would then of loved to of won this in just a few months he gets annoyed that an early pin attempt saw Sir Ender kick out. Too casual of a cover. Terminus roughs him up as punishment only to suffer embarrassment as Sir Ender countered a turnbuckle move and actually got a couple of offensive moves in. Of course it doesn’t last and Terminus gets the win after HAMMERLOCK SLAM. He didn’t look happy though as it had taken him far longer than expected.

CARD 1219 – EUROPA GARDEN: During the show a small section of the crowd barrier breaks. Even though it could have allowed some fans direct access to ringside they respectfully stay in place whilst emergency repairs are carried out. Commissioner Cordanus takes a dim view of what happened and reacts in a harsh manner. See the next show for details. Ladies champ, Amazonia, defends against Thrash. When you think of female feuds this is always the one you go to. Their rivalry never diminishes even if they are involved in different things. Thrash would not of enjoyed Amazonia making history with the belt and was hellbent on ripping it away from her and making this reign as short as possible. To really stoke things up Thrash blows the whistle on Amazonia making an approach to the Gladiators to try and join them at the end of last year before having to settle on the Centaurians with her ‘lesbian’ friend Lorelei. Am sure both statements are bullsh*t. Lorelei, who was accompanying Amazonia, aggresively objects to Thrash’s taunts and tries to start a brawl with her. It’s actually Amazonia who holds her back as she says “let me deal with this”. She doesn’t let her down and manages a succesful defence. Very even for a few minutes until Amazonia got her shield out. Thanks to a distraction she is able to nail Thrash with THE WARRIOR’S SHIELD twice. The second of which busts Thrash open. Although Thrash survives both blows it is the beginning of the end for her. Amazonia doesn’t relent and unleashes an Amazon Attack swiftly followed by RUNNING SABRE. It’s too much to take and Thrash is pinned. Amazonia then shows a slightly heelish trait as she boots the beaten Thrash in the side for good measure. Lorelei applauds the action. It is worrying to see these supposed heroes/heroines taking such actions in the current GWF climate.
Thunder beats Rising Sun in a thrilling Cosmic Cage match. Rising Sun is determined not to be the forgotten man. He’s seen how the star of Scion Nexus is rising and quickly signs this match against the stuttering Thunder to try and show that’s he’s still the main man on the Titan team. Rising Sun considers Thunder to be the best all round wrestler in the GWF and declares “to be the best you’ve got to beat the best”. Thunder was more than ready to meet the challenge as he tries to re establish himself in the rankings. Injuries and some startling losses to Mandrill have not helped him this year. Even though a cage match is probably not his strong suit Rising goes very aggressive from the start. Within a couple of minutes he was laying siege to Thunder and adding many tokens. Thunder looks done for after SUNSET SPECTACULAR. Rising Sun was virtually over the top straddling the cage when Thunder summons inner reserves. Forcing himself to stand and move towards where Rising was escaping. He manages to grab onto a foot. Rising Sun responds by kicking him off and bizarrely jumps back down into the cage to dish out more punishment. Maybe he was just trying to make sure. Fatally he chooses to attempt a deathjump next. It ends up missing and this is a major turning point. Thunder recovers well and begins to now demolish Rising. After hitting THE TEMPEST he is far more clinical in his escape attempt. Choosing to the exit via the door before Rising even had a chance to stir. Means a big win for Thunder and might mark the beginning of his ascent back towards the top of the GWF echelons. If the rumours are to be believed Thunder has been earmarked as the GALACTICON opponent of Mensar which represents a very significant thing. Cordanus wants to make Mensar look good and beat the best the GWF can offer. So he must of an extremely high opinion of Thunder. For Rising though he is at a low point. Lord Nexus needs to try and pick him as soon as possible to keep his motivation going. Trouble is it might mean showing Scion Nexus less attention to make Rising feel wanted. Enigma beats his partner Prodigy. Not what either wanted to be doing is to be facing each other. They had no choice as Cordanus ordered it. Citing an unfulfilled match between them that was booked just as the ban went through over 2 years ago. He’s trying to tear the team apart. It fails miserably. Usually when two heroes face off one is cast as the villain and Cordanus was banking on that being a catalyst. Instead the crowd backs them both. They revel in it and serve up a brilliant match. At one point Enigma elegantly glides across the ropes in a move that defied gravity. Then Prodigy really set pulses racing as he unleashes a deathjump where he gets astonishing height. It remained in the balance and there wasn’t a hint of animosity until Enigma eventually prevailed via a Shooting Star Blast. Obviously Cordanus wasn’t happy that the partners had stayed friendly and had to revert to plan. This was for Next Generation to attack them both in the aftermath. Perhaps that was the plan all along to try and get them at a vulnerable point as Encubus walks out and once their attention was on him Bloodline walked through the empty seats and climbs over the crowd barrier. He quietly enters the ring and says “hey suckers”. When they turn around he lays them both out with brass knuckles. Next Generation stands over their fallen bodies and Encubus declares them a couple of muppets not fit to lace the boots of Next Generation. Despite the attack both Light Speed members escaped injury. The only damage was to their pride.
Corporal Aegis defeated Mensar by DQ. With the tag belts lost clearly now is the time for Mensar’s big push towards the Heavyweight belt. Aegis is a decent scalp to help boost the credibility of such a push. It’s not easy for Mensar though as Aegis puts up a strong resistance. Aegis got a big cheer as he unleashed a Lethal Jump Kick. One of his favourite moves. It certainly got DM excited on commentary as he shouts out “wowza, that was a hard hit”. It left Mensar was rattled but Aegis couldn’t build on it. Eventually Mensar starts to dominate and it looks over for Aegis as we see WRECKING MACHINE. Incredibly Aegis kicks out and Cordanus looks furious that Mensar’s big finisher has been undermined. He immediately berates the ref over a slow count. Aegis was now back on his feet and looking like he might be ready to feed off the fans excitement and threaten an upset. Mensar hasn’t the foggiest what to do and pushes Aegis through the ropes. He lands right at the feet of Cordanus who then makes no attempt to conceal attacking of Aegis. Some kind of tool is used to ensure Aegis stays down. Cordanus then backs away and shouts out that he was just checking Aegis was okay. He then orders the ref to count him out. The ref bravely stands up to him and orders the disqualification of Mensar due to the interference. The crowd loves it and ends up cheering the ref almost as loudly as they would one of their beloved wrestlers. Cordanus later publicly says of the outcome he is glad Mensar was disqualified as it shows the GWF is fair and impartial. The referee responsible then got quietly fired a few days later.
Malice and Overkill over Rebel Empire by DQ. Despite Malice posting a singles win over Mandrill he is shown his place in the Aethran pecking order by being moved straight back into his usual tag team role. His orders from Vengeance are clear “defeat Rebel Empire and win the tag belts. Leave the singles belts to me and Thunder”. That last sentence is particularly interesting as it sends a strong hint that Vengeance will be back in the ring sooner rather than later. Anyhow Malice and Overkill obediently get on with their task. It was a pretty undramatic match though. Both teams cancelling each other out until Rouser tried to clobber Malice with his sign. That drew the DQ and the crowd was like a baying mob for Rouser due to his spoiling things. His greater worry was Brute though. His ire had been raised and he had Rouser cornered at one point. Rouser somehow managed to dive through his legs and get away. The Gladiators refused to have their hands raised in victory. Brute rants later “that wasn’t a victory, that little pipsqueak ruined it and will pay if he dares to show up at ringside again”.
Next Generation crushed Animen Invasion. Poor Animen Invasion are fed to Next Generation by Cordanus. All to make Next Generation look good. Son of Ram is very much a “yes sir, no sir, three bags full sir” character when it comes to dealing with the villainous elite figures. He even has delusional thoughts they might spring an upset and elevate their status. Fat chance of that as they are easily beaten as expected. Bloodline and Encubus seemed to be taking it in turns to give an exhibition. First Antak got a going over until they allowed him a defensive tag so they could work on Ram. He faired a tiny bit better but there was no way he was going to do anything dramatic. Encubus seemed to grow a bit bored of stringing things out and finished him with SECOND COMING. It’s becoming very clear now that the Takeover plan is for Mensar to go after the Heavyweight belt and Next Generation for the tag belts. Surely a raid on the IP belt must be in his thoughts too, if rumours are true then Cordanus might even try and get it for himself. With Mensar accompanying him to all matches it might be possible.
