Today I went to the office of the surgeon I was referred to by the emergency room this past weekend. My surgeon appears to be a hardcore Raiders fan as outside of his suite there was a nice black truck with lots of Raiders insignia on it including a Raiders license plate with my surgeon's initials.
My appointment to see the surgeon has now been scheduled, I just wish it was not another 2 weeks away on February 6th.

Jimmy Garoppolo will miss the first two games of the 2024 season due to violating the performance enhancement policy. Yeah I was stunned to hear that Carapollo was on performance enhancing drugs. Lets see, Carapollo was leading the entire NFL in interceptions despite misisng multiple games and he had a QBR in the 30s. I don't think those "performance enhancing" drugs were working too well for Carapollo. Now that he has this suspension, the Raiders can release Carapollo and take less of a cap hit as a result. Good bye Carapollo! |

Some mocks I have seen have the Raiders taking JJ McCarthy, the QB from Michigan. I have also seen him going to either your Seahawks or to the Broncos. The last two are interesting due to the Russel Wilson connection as I see JJ a bit in his mode. JJ may not be as good a runner, or just does not run as much, but he is probably a more accurate QB. If he goes to either of those three teams he could sit a year or two as they develop him into an NFL QB and then unleash him on the league.

To be clear I was not saying he could not start right away. Just that the smart play would be give him a year to sit, maybe two, then let him go. He is young and as we have seen over the years in Green Bay, letting a guy sit can be helpful. Yea once Geno was guaranteed it was pretty much set, he was coming back for them. Of course, a trade is a possibility as well. |

Christian Wilkins has agreed to terms with the Las Vegas Raiders.
now if only we knew what the Hell we are going to do at QB (IMO not making an effort to sign Russell Wislon for the minimum and give him a chance to get revenge against Denver twice a year was a mistake)
