I wanted Russell Wislon for the Raiders, but I am glad to see they at least got Washington State's Gardner Minshew signed.

Christian Wilkins has agreed to terms with the Las Vegas Raiders. now if only we knew what the Hell we are going to do at QB (IMO not making an effort to sign Russell Wislon for the minimum and give him a chance to get revenge against Denver twice a year was a mistake) Love the Wilkins signing, I think I like Minshew better that Wilson. Disappointing to see Jacobs leave, I understand the move but will miss him.

Well, as a WSU alumni, I am definitely a big Minshew fan and I am glad he is a Raider but I personally would rather have Wilson at $1 million than Minshew at $15 million since neither is a long term answer. I am surprised the Packers are paying Jacobs that much as he played awful last year. I would have liked to see him return, but not at that price.

Excellent point Zeke on the money, Raiders couldn't use that money to improve elsewhere. I'm not too thrilled with Minshew, but I feel Russell is hasn't shown much in the last 2 seasons in Denver.

I was happy to see the Raiders resigned Ameer Abdullah. With Jacobs gone maybe Ameer gets used a bit more. At his age he is no starter but I think 4-6 touches per game would be solid and in some games maybe even more.

The Raiders have officially released Jimmy Garoppolo. I know Zeke will be upset on this, not. The question is, where does he go and who does he back up? Not sure I see him going in as a starter at this point.

Well Jimmy was not on the market for long. The Rams signed him as Stafford's back up. That is a solid signing for the Rams. Stafford has had injury issues recently and like all of us he is not getting any younger. Jimmy is a solid back up.

Raiders get a great TE and College Game day crew are calling him the best player in the draft.

Michael Gallup, who the Raiders signed in April, announced he is retiring. A shame as I always felt he was underused by the Cowboys for the most part.
