GWF 15 (2075.11) Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars
The Mensans (Cordsar and Trotarus) vs. CrossCurrents (Thetis and Vortex) Thetis defeated Trotarus with WATERY GRAVE at 12:56 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Thetis and Vortex dominated the offense for nearly the entire match, successfully cutting off the ring with the exception of allowing a couple of defensive tags to the Mensans. Quick tags, followed by their double-team finisher, led to the pinfall and the first GWF win for the duo from Thalassis.
Santon vs. Ricken Prince Ricken Prince defeated Santon with BOW TO THE PRINCE at 1:30 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: An arrogant Santon entered the ring and slapped Ricken Prince in the face prior to the starting bell. This just enraged Prince, as he distracted the referee to hit Santon with his low-blow finisher for the quick pinfall victory. After the match, a laughing Prince was clotheslined from behind by Santon, and the two brawled before being separated by security.
Morpheus vs. Screw The match ended in a no contest Match Rating: 0.00 Match Notes: The match never began. With Morpheus already in the ring, Screw was attacked from behind while approaching the ring by Jack Hood and Dorado Sundown. Omega and a clearly irritated Morpheus would join in the brawl before security personnel could restore order.
Omega vs. Commander Sam - #1 contender match Omega defeated Commander Sam with COSMIC WAR DANCE at 9:51 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: With security personnel stationed ringside, Omega was dominant offensively throughout most of the match. Every time Sam would counter a move, Omega had an answer to regain the advantage. Omega wore down Sam with multiple knee lift flurries to get the winning pinfall.
GWF Tag Team champions Dorado Sundown (Blacklash and Bullwhip) vs. Paladin Power (Moonstrike and Solar Flare) – GWF Tag Team Title Match Solar Flare defeated Blacklash with PALADIN MISSILE at 29:03 Paladin Power wins the GWF Tag Team Titles Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: A definite match of the year candidate, featuring a clearly determined Paladin Power, an arrogant Dorado Sundown, and security personnel at ringside to prevent interference. Blacklash would take quite a bit of punishment from the Titans (5 tokens), and would be the victim of several big offensive maneuvers followed by quick tags. Blacklash eventually was felled by a top rope clothesline by Moonstrike followed by Solar Flare’s top rope finisher for the pinfall, as Moonstrike took care of Bullwhip’s attempt to break up the pin.

Awesome title win for Paladin Power... Probably not the kind of statement Dorado Sundown was looking to make after joining Hood for that triple team beatdown on Screw... Ouch!
Also enjoyed watching Sam hold his own in that top contenders match... No big surprise that Omega came out on top...
Thoroughly enjoying your interpretation of the pre-Broken Code era, my friend... Nice work!

GWF Ringside Report
The attack on Screw at GWF 15 by Dorado Sundown and Jack Hood and subsequent brawl with Omega and Morpheus has led the three unlikely allies to challenge the self-proclaimed Invaders to a GWF-first Three-Man Tag Team Match at GWF 16, despite Morpheus being less than thrilled about the situation. When asked about his clearly seen irritation at the pre-match attack on Screw prior to their match at GWF 15, Morpheus responded, “Of course I was irritated. My goal in the ring is to win the GWF Galaxian Title, and defeating Screw would have been a step towards that goal. Instead, Jack and those bumbling cowboys prevented me from even having a chance to make that happen, so I’m again forced to stand up and protect my company instead of focusing on my goal. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll always protect my company in lieu of championship gold, but it doesn’t mean I have to like it.”
Meanwhile, GWF Galaxian champ K.O. Keller, in need of a warm-up match to prepare for his upcoming title defense at GWF 17 against Omega, has given his protégé Commander Sam a non-title match at GWF 16. Sam was thankful for the opportunity, but warned his mentor not to let up, as he intends to win the match. Keller simply responded, “Bring it.”
Observers had hoped that Santon’s recent struggles would soften his ambivalent stance towards respecting his fellow competitors. His pre-match slap in the face to Ricken Prince at GWF 15, followed by the post-match clothesline from behind, showed that he’s as disrespectful as ever, even making Ricken Prince and his controversial low-blow finisher BOW TO THE PRINCE look almost respectful in turn. The two will meet in the ring again soon, but will have to wait until GWF 17 for that to occur, as both are signed to compete at GWF 16 in separate matches.
The matches signed for GWF 16, the final card of 2075, are:
Omega, Morpheus, and Screw vs. Jack Hood and Dorado Sundown – 3-Man Tag Team Match K.O. Keller vs. Commander Sam – non-title match Torin Caelum vs. Ricken Prince Defiance vs. CrossCurrents Santon vs. Torpor

I love Dorado Sundown. Would love to get Kronos cards for them one day. Nice to read some Fed results of promoters using them. One of my all time favorite tag teams.

I've always liked them as well. I hope to keep them around for a couple of additional years past their official GWF exit... first, because the tag team ranks need the extra competition in those first 4-5 years, and second, because they are fun to use!

GWF 16 (2075.12) Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars
Santon vs. Torpor Santon defeated Torpor with SPIKE PILEDRIVER at 2:51 Match Rating: 1.75 Match Notes: Torpor had the advantage early but quickly faded and eventually fell to Santon’s finisher.
Defiance (Blood and Jammer) vs. CrossCurrents (Thetis and Vortex) Vortex defeated Blood with WATERY GRAVE at 21:47 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: Another excellent showing by CrossCurrents garnered the duo their second straight victory. The match featured a lot of back-and-forth between the two teams, but few pinfall attempts. Vortex was finally able to isolate Blood late in the match and, as Jammer was being held back by the referee after attempting to interfere, fell to the Thalassians’ double-team finisher.
Torin Caelum vs. Ricken Prince Torin Caelum defeated Ricken Prince via disqualification at 3:36 Match Rating: 1.75 Match Notes: A fairly standard match early quickly changed when Prince dragged Caelum out of the ring. As the two men exchanged blows, Santon appeared at ringside and attempted to clothesline Prince from behind. Prince saw the attempt and moved, and Santon instead clotheslined Caelum. The referee quickly called for the disqualification, and Prince and Santon brawled until being separated by security.
GWF Galaxian champion K.O. Keller vs. Commander Sam – non-title match Commander Sam defeated K.O. Keller via disqualification at 14:04 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: An exciting match between mentor and protégé unfortunately devolved late in the match, as the two men’s emotions and competitive spirits got the best of them. During an extended brawl out of the ring, the referee was forced to call for a disqualification when Keller continued to ignore the referee’s instructions to let up and return to the ring. After the match, the two men regained their wits and shook hands.
The Guardians (Omega and Morpheus) and Screw vs. Dorado Sundown (Blacklash and Bullwhip) and Jack Hood – Three-Man Tag Team Match Screw defeated Jack Hood with FREAKISH FACE SLAM at 15:45 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: An exciting match that left nobody in the audience disappointed, in which all six competitors saw plenty of in-ring action. Hood attempted a running shoulder dive on Screw in the corner, but ended up crashing onto the ring floor when Screw moved. Omega and Morpheus quickly threw Hood back into the ring, and Screw would hit Hood with a running power slam followed by his finisher for the win as his teammates prevented Blacklash and Bullwhip from interfering. The winners celebrated in the ring while the Invaders fumed at ringside post-match to bring 2075 to a close.

Dorado Sundown is a very underappreciated team for sure.
Nice main event. Als enjoy a CrossCurrents win. Odd that Keller got a bit wild on the floor.

GWF Ringside Report
The GWF ended 2075 on a high note with both the fans and media alike, as the Three-Man Tag Team Match at GWF 16 was a rousing success. Any who wondered what the GWF would do to keep the momentum going didn’t need to wait long for an answer. During their opening press conference of 2076, Omega and Morpheus announced that GWF 20 will feature a sequel to last year’s 4 man round robin tournament, with the winner declared the #1 contender to the GWF Galaxian Title, to receive the title shot at GWF 21. Singles matches to be held over the course of the next three GWF cards leading into GWF 20 will help determine the four entrants into the round robin tournament.
The current #1 contender to the GWF Galaxian Title, Omega, will challenge champ K.O. Keller for the title at GWF 17. Keller dismissed any concerns from the fans and media about his disqualification in his match at GWF 16 against his protégé Commander Sam, saying, “It was just the competitive juices flowing, nothing to worry about. Sam was as close to being dq’ed as I was. I’ve taught him well. Maybe too well.”
CrossCurrents have found themselves on a winning streak after their early struggles, and this hasn’t gone unnoticed. GWF Tag Team champs Paladin Power announced that they will give CrossCurrents a GWF Tag Team Title shot at GWF 17, which Thetis and Vortex graciously accepted. Dorado Sundown, meanwhile, was furious upon learning this, as they feel that CrossCurrents needs to go through them, the former champs, in order to get a title shot.
The four recent GWF signees will make their GWF debuts at GWF 17. In fact, the two singles competitors (Cosmos and Mimic) will debut by wrestling each other.
The matches signed for GWF 17 are:
K.O. Keller vs. Omega – GWF Galaxian Title match Paladin Power vs. CrossCurrents – GWF Tag Team Title match Morpheus vs. Screw Santon vs. Ricken Prince The Mensans vs. The Wind Riders (debut) Cosmos (debut) vs. Mimic (debut)
