Ring announcer Howard Finkel welcomes fans to the show and hypes up a very special main event – the 1st ever Saskatoon Survival Match! Finkel explains that it will be a six-man elimination match where two men square off in the ring and are free to tag any of the other 4 men at any time. The sole survivor will be declared the winner.
Stu Hart & The Stomper vs. Gene Kiniski & Bad News Allen
Stomper and Bad News Allen square off to start the bout. Stomper no sells a club across the chest and slams Allen’s head into the turnbuckle. Allen avoids an elbow drop and stuns Stomper with a headbutt. The men battle it out onto the floor where Allen grabs hold of a chair and smacks it across the back of Stomper as the ref throws the match out.
Winners: Stu Hart & The Stomper by DQ
Gorgeous George w/Cherie Dupre vs. Brian Pillman
George is dismissive of the young rookie and takes his time preparing for the match. When the bell rings, George attempts a dropkick but misses by a wide margin. Pillman executes a suplex followed by a turnbuckle leapfrog and dropkick combination. George stumbles back to his feet before the youngster takes him out with a springboard clothesline. Pillman hooks the leg and picks up the victory as George kicks out right after the three-count in shock.
Winner: Brian Pillman
Afterwards, Dupre slips George a Georgie pin and George attacks PIllman from behind going after his eyes with the hairpin. Officials pull George off and tend to the injured rookie.
Non-Title Match
RWF Tag Team Champions The Valiant Brothers w/Captain Lou Albano vs. The Killer Bees
The Valiant Brothers cut off the ring and work over Killer Bee #1 for an extended period. Johnny picks up a pair of nearfalls following a scoop bodyslam and then a spinning neckbreaker. The Bees finally get some momentum going when Killer Bee #2 surprises Jimmy with a running crossbody. The Bees take control with multiple quick tags in and out. Jimmy pulls a foreign object and nails Killer Bee #1 with it. Killer Bee #1 goes to the floor to recover. As Killer Bee #1 attempts to regroup, Albano sneaks up behind and shoves him into the ringpost right in front of the referee.

Saskatoon Survival Match
“The Walking Condominium” King Kong Bundy vs. Sabu vs. Greg “The Hammer” Valentine vs. Bruiser Brody vs. “The Billion Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase vs. Bobo Brazil
Brody challenges Bundy to meet him in the middle as the other participants take their positions at the four turnbuckles. DiBiase and Bundy huddle in a corner before the bell rings. The big men exchange blows before Brody pops the crowd with a one hand body slam on the behemoth. Bundy reverses an Irish whip into the corner and tags in DiBiase. DiBiase sends Brody to the opposite corner, but Brody bounces out with a huge lariat. As Brody husses around the ring, Valentine tags himself in on Brody’s shoulder. Valentine takes down DiBiase with a quick shoulderbreaker for a nearfall. Valentine works DiBiase over with his signature chops before tagging in Bobo Brazil. Brazil hits a Bobo body slam and DiBiase bails to the floor with Brazil hot on his tail. DiBiase manages to shoot Brazil into the ringsteps before making the tag to Bundy. Bundy squashes Brazil with his dreaded Avalanche and asks for the five-count.

As Bundy travels back to DiBiase’s corner to confer with him, Sabu enters and jumps onto the back of the monster. Bundy tosses him off and connects with an elbow drop. DiBiase quickly tags in and locks on the Billion Dollar Sleeper, but Sabu holds on. On the outside, DiBiase attempts to send Sabu into the rail, but Sabu reverses. Brody tags in and quickly nails DiBiase with a big boot against the guardrail. Back in the ring, DiBiase avoids a lariat and makes a desperate tag to Bundy. Bundy punishes Brody with two Avalanches, but is unable to pick up the pinfall. Valentine tags in on Bundy’s back and goes after Brody with a flurry of punches. Brody blocks a knee lift and tags in Sabu. Sabu downs his rival with a gut wrench suplex and sinks on the Camel Clutch. Valentine stretches his leg and manages to get his boot on the bottom rope to break it up. Valentine avoids a splash in the corner and tags in DiBiase. DiBiase lands a backward elbow off the rope for a nearfall. The cocky DiBiase looks for a fist-drop, but only finds the mat as Sabu avoids it and tags in Brody. Brody comes in a house of fire and downs DiBiase with a backbreaker before nailing him with a Jumping Knee Drop for the pin.
Eliminated: Ted DiBiase
An enraged Bundy charges Brody. The agile Brody avoids him and Bundy falls through the second rope to the floor. Brody waits for Bundy to climb back into the ring before taking him out with a vicious lariat.
Eliminated: King Kong Bundy
Valentine enters the match as Brody tags out to Sabu. The rivals slug it out before Sabu lands a hurancanrana. Sabu attempts a triple jump moonsault, but Valentine raises his knees up. Sabu avoids a falling elbow hammer and quickly hits a slingshot leg drop for a nearfall. Valentine regains control and tags out to Brody with a disrespectful slap to the chest. Sabu surprises Brody with a dropkick to the knee before grabbing a chair from outside the ring and landing an Arabian Facebuster. The referee takes the chair away from Sabu and disqualifies him.
Eliminated: Sabu by DQ
Taking advantage of the situation, Valentine pulls up Brody by the hair and hits a nasty piledriver. Valentine hooks the leg and presses his forearm against Brody’s face for the cover.
Eliminated: Bruiser Brody
Winner: Greg “The Hammer” Valentine
