Gorgeous George opens the show making his way to the ring escorted by his valet Cherie Dupre. George asks for a microphone, but then changes his mind and has Dupre disinfect it first. George states that he is ashamed to wrestle in an establishment referred to as a “Cow Palace.” George orders Dupre to shower the ringside area with Chanel #10. Dupre takes her time doing so as the crowd jeers. George claims that he is now accepting Red Bastien’s challenge and will face him in the ring this instant. Ring announcer Howard Finkel makes the announcement that Bastien is unable to appear after competing in recent brutal matches on Wrestle Weekly TV. George celebrates and orders the referee to begin a count out. Finkel states that RWF officials have selected a suitable replacement – Killer Kowalski! Kowalski makes his way down the aisle to cheers as George turns white with fear.

Gorgeous George w/Cherie Dupre vs. Killer Kowalski
George back pedals his way around the ring before attempting to catch Kowalski off guard with a dropkick. Kowalski doesn’t move an inch and sends George to the mat with an overhead body slam. Kowalski ascends the ropes and nails a Bomb’s Away kneedrop for a nearfall. George attempts to crawl away, but Kowalski executes a giant swing. George rolls out of the ring in a state of dizziness with Kowalski hot on his tail. George picks up a chair and hurls it at a charging Kowalski for the blatant disqualification. George quickly makes a running exit with Dupre.

“The Walking Condominium” King Kong Bundy, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, & Capt. Lou Albano vs. Bobo Brazil, The Destroyer, & Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka
Destroyer enters the match for his team and dares Albano to start the match. Albano decides against it and Valentine begins instead. Early on, Valentine whips Destroyer to the ropes where Bundy levels Destroyer with a cheap knee to the back. Destroyer collapses to the canvas in pain. Albano makes the blind tag off Valentine and enters the ring. Albano attempts an Irish whip, but Destroyer immediately counters with a sensational suplex for the flash pinfall!
Winners: Bobo Brazil, The Destroyer, & Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka

The crowd cheers as Albano kicks at the bottom rope and throws a fit. Destroyer grabs Albano’s legs, drags him out to the floor, and locks on the figure four in an attempt to injure Albano before the PPV on Sunday. RWF officials break things up before more damage is done. As a result of the attack, Albano is injured for 1 card.

The Iron Sheik and Nicolai Volkoff make their way to the ring. Sheik waves the Russian flag as Volkoff sings his rendition of the Russian national anthem. Jim Duggan enters to the approval of the crowd waving the stars and stripes and holding a microphone. Duggan explains that Buddy Rogers, his partner for the PPV, is already in Los Angeles. Duggan claims he found a partner for tonight who will help him take care of business. #1 Contender Harley Race makes his entrance.

The Iron Sheik & Nicolai Volkoff vs. Harley Race & “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan
Volkoff, angry from his recent loss on television to Race, attempts to jump the #1 Contender before the bell rings. Race sends Volkoff over with a vertical suplex and then follows with a diving headbutt. Race dispatches Volkoff with his patented piledriver as Duggan blocks Sheik from breaking up the pin.

“Wild” Red Berry vs. “Jumpin’” Joe Savoldi
Savoldi shines early with several forearm smashes and a flying body press. Berry retreats to the floor where he plays opossum and sends Savoldi crashing into the ringpost. Back in the ring, Berry continues his rule-breaking with a hair pull takedown. Savoldi fires back with a scoop slam and climbs to the top rope, but Berry throws him back down to the mat. Berry his accomplishment too long and Savoldi downs him with a leg sweep. Savoldi nails a pair of missile dropkicks and makes the pin.
Winner: “Jumpin’” Joe Savoldi

Killer Kowalski vs. Gorgeous George w/Cherie Dupre
George cowers and then tries to surprise Kowalski by attacking him with Georgie pins. Kowalski blocks the heinous assault and immediately downs George with a headlock and punch. Kowalski sends George headfirst into the buckle and executes a shoulder breaker for a nearfall. Dupre jumps up on the apron and manages to rake Kowalski’s eyes! The referee boots Dupre from ringside and restarts the contest. George manages to evade the partly blinded Kowalski for a few minutes until Kowalski catches him in the Claw Hold for the submission win.
Winner: Killer Kowalski

The Destroyer & Frank Gotch vs. Bob Crabapple & Robert Maple
Gotch and Crabapple start off for their respective teams. Gotch with an anklepick early as he attempts to work a ground game. Crabapple slips out of an armbar and cracks Gotch with a back elbow for a nearfall. Maple tags in. Gotch block a hiptoss and dumps Maple to the mat with a violent waistlock takeover. Destroyer tags in and sinks on the figure four leglock for the quick victory.
Winners: The Destroyer & Frank Gotch

Volkoff ducks a wild haymaker and hits Duggan with a hammer to the back. Duggan slips out of a powerslam attempt, rallies with a pair of Tough Guy clotheslines, and makes the cover! The Iron Sheik quickly jumps in to make the save for his partner. Race tags back in and attempts to lock Volkoff in the Indian deathlock. Volkoff makes the ropes and pulls himself to the outside. Volkoff grabs his Russian flag and waits. When Race reaches through the ropes to bring his opponent back into the ring, Volkoff hits Race in the stomach with the flag pole for the blatant disqualification!
Winners: Harley Race & “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan by DQ.

Duggan grabs his 2x4 and chases the heels to the dressing room as Race recovers in the ring.

Bobo Brazil, “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka, The Sandman, & Sabu vs. Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, Ted DiBiase, King Kong Bundy, & Ox Baker
Sandman and Baker square off first. Sandman battles out of a headlock with forearm pummels and then surprises Baker with a Heinekenrana for a quick nearfall. Sandman grabs a Singapore cane from his corner. The referee warns Sandman who proceeds to crack if over Baker’s skull! Sandman shrugs as the referee calls for the bell.
Winners: Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, Ted DiBiase, King Kong Bundy & Ox Baker by DQ.

Mayhem continues after the match as Snuka attempts to battle both DiBiase and Bundy. Valentine ping-pongs between punches from Brazil and Sabu. The locker room empties and tries to separate this huge ringside brawl. Sabu sets up a chair mid-ring and takes out everyone with a Triple Jump dive to the outside!

RWF Presents “A Grand Arrival”

June 11th

Dark Match: Killer Kowalski vs. Bob Crabapple
Crabapple opens with an eye gouge and attempts to wrap Kowalski’s arm around the ring rope. Kowalski shoves him away and executes a shoulderbreaker. Kowalski works an armbar, but Crabapple slips free and manages to choke Kowalski on the ropes. Kowalski no-sells a headbutt and executes another shoulderbreaker. Kowalski soon locks on the Claw Hold for the victory.
Winner: Killer Kowalski

Announcers Bill Mercer and Bobby Heenan welcome viewers to the show and run down tonight’s card. Mercer spends most of the time hyping up the RWF World Championship match with Nick Bockwinkle set to defend against #1 contender Harley Race. Heenan mentions that Bockwinkle remains undefeated in the RWF and already defeated Race in the past – therefore nobody should be excited. Mercer pitches it over to Howard Finkel to begin the action.

The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff vs. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan & “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers
Mercer notes that Duggan looks ready to go while Rogers appears skeptical of his partner. Volkoff and Duggan start things off. Duggan shines early with a back body drop and a spinning bodyslam. Volkoff regains control with a hair pull takedown and tags in Sheik. Sheik executes a sidewinder suplex for a nearfall. Volkoff tags back in and sends Duggan to the floor. Sheik draws the attention of the referee while Volkoff dastardly attacks Duggan with the Russian flag. The foreigners try this again, but this time Duggan grabs the flag and nails Volkoff with it to a big pop. Rogers gets the hot tag and sinks the Figure Four Grapevine onto Volkoff. Sheik jumps in and puts the boots to Rogers until the referee is forced to call for a disqualification.
Winners: “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan & “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers by DQ.

Duggan hastily enters the ring, but Sheik and Volkoff head for the locker room. Once Rogers makes it to his feet, Duggan extends his hand. Rogers shakes it and Bill Mercer comments that it looks like a new friendship has been formed. Heenan claims he might throw up.

Singapore Cane Match:
The Sandman vs. Ox Baker
As Sandman makes his extended entrance through the crowd, the announcers go over the rules. There are no DQ’s and Singapore Canes are placed on the mat for the competitors to use at will. Sandman and Baker go nose-to-nose before the bell rings. Sandman attempts a bodyslam, but appears to tweak his back and quickly pulls away. Baker levels Sandman with a monstrous clothesline and gets the flash pinfall.
Winner: Ox Baker

Baker laughs and picks up a Singapore Cane in each hand. Sandman, still favoring his back, slips out of the ring to avoid whatever Baker had planned. Heenan quips that it looks like Sandman has had one too many. Baker holds up the canes victorious as the crowd boos.

NJPW Showcase:
Tiger Mask vs. Jushin “Thunder” Liger
Both men shake hands at the opening bell. The action starts quick as Tiger hits an armdrag and then whips Liger to the nearest corner. Tiger runs at his opponent, but Liger counters with a rolling koppo kick. Liger with a nasty-looking brainbuster for a nearfall. Liger leaps off the top and connects with a missile dropkick that sends Tiger to the floor. Liger quickly follows up with a suicide dive to the floor and tosses Tiger back between the ropes for another nearfall. Liger executes a running Liger Bomb for yet another nearfall. Liger gives the throat slash signal and climbs to the top rope once again. Liger jumps off, but Tiger counters with a dropkick in midair. Tiger lands a Tiger Suplex for a nearfall of his own. Tiger seals the win with another signature Tiger Suplex.
Winner: Tiger Mask

Afterwards, RFW officials tended to both men with ice packs as the crowd applauded in appreciation of a hard-fought contest.

Bill Mercer steps into the ring and introduces Red Bastien. Mercer asks Bastien about recent happenings on RWF Wrestle Weekly TV. Bastien talks about taking on unannounced opponents like Doug Somers, Killer Khan, Jason The Terrible, and Ed Wiskoski. Bastien admits his body has been taking a beating from the unexpected bouts. Mercer asks Bastien why all these men are coming out of the woodwork to confront him. Bastien said this is no coincidence and alleges that “Playboy” Buddy Rose is the man behind the curtain manipulating all of these puppets. Before Bastien can continue, bagpipe music erupts from the speakers as “Rowdy” Roddy Piper makes his way to the ring to a huge ovation. Piper takes the microphone and politely tells Mercer that he can take it from here. Piper talks about being a fan of RWF and watching Bastien with interest from day one. “You never backed down from anybody! It didn’t happen, but you were even willing to fight in a handicap loser-leaves-RWF match! You’re crazy, man!” Piper and Bastien both laugh. Piper talks about being very familiar with Buddy Rose and explains that his feud with Rose in Portland is what catapulted him to the mainstream. Piper asks Bastien if he is proud of himself. Bastien looks at the audience – obviously not sure how to answer. Before Bastien can answer, Piper slaps Bastien across the face and the crowd gasps. “Let me tell you something, punk – you’re not going to spit on my legacy to make a name for yourself here! There’s a bounty out on your head and the Piper is going to get paid!” Both men grab each other by the hair and trade fists until RWF officials break up the confrontation.

Tornado Tag Team Match
“Superfly” Jimmy Snuka & Bruiser Brody vs. Ted DiBiase & King Kong Bundy
Brody immediately levels Bundy with a stiff lariat and goes to confront DiBiase. Snuka steps in front of Brody and lights up DiBiase with vicious chops and a bodyslam. Bundy, recovered from the lariat, sneaks up from behind and gives Snuka and Brody a double noggin knocker. DiBiase and Bundy double team Snuka in the corner. Brody recovers and takes out Bundy with another running lariat followed by a leg drop for a nearfall. DiBiase blindsides Brody with a DDT and laughs. An enraged Snuka, now alone with DiBiase, hits his rival with an incredible amount of vicious chops before making the pin. DiBiase screams in agony holding his chest.
Winners: “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka & Bruiser Brody

“Mean” Gene Okerlund interviews The Destroyer and Frank Gotch backstage before their RWF Tag Team Championship opportunity. Okerlund recaps what happened on the first go-round when The Valiants were disqualified after Albano provided them with a roll of quarters. Gotch cracks his knuckles and dares Albano to get involved this time. Destroyer promises the fans that they will restore honor to the championships.

Gotch points at Albano warning him not to get involved. Gotch and Johnny start things off for their respective teams. Gotch and Johnny exchange in a few mat-based holds before Gotch suddenly gets a go-behind and dumps Johnny violently with a waistlock takeover. Gotch hooks the leg as Destroyer blocks Jimmy from breaking things up.
Winners and new RWF Tag Team Champions: The Destroyer & Frank Gotch

The Destroyer and Frank Gotch celebrate as the referee hands them the titles. The Valiants appear shocked as Albano throws a huge fit. Albano chastises his men and curses while kicking at the bottom rope. The crowd goes ballistic at the one-sided result. Heenan calls it a travesty of justice.

Mercer introduces Mil Mascaras seated at ringside who stands up from his seat and waves to the fans. Mercer announcers that Mascaras has signed a contract with RWF and will soon debut in the ring. Back on commentary, Mercer talks about Mascaras’ status as a lucha libre legend.

Gorgeous George and Cherie Dupre make their way out to the ring. Dupre sprays the microphone with Chanel #10 before offering it to George. George whines about not being on the card and that RWF can’t have a show without their prettiest and most skilled grappler. Finkel introduces Andre The Giant as the winner of the annual Cow Palace Battle Royal. On commentary, Mercer talks about Andre outlasting 47 other wrestlers to earn his way onto the card tonight.

Andre The Giant vs. Gorgeous George w/Cherie Dupre
George insults what he considers to be a lowly opponent and reaches up to slap Andre across the face. Giant whips George to the ropes, but George hits a dropkick to Andre’s legs. George foolishly goes for an airplane spin, but can’t lift Andre whatsoever. Andre whips George to the ropes – George answers with yet another dropkick to the legs that forces Andre onto his knees. Heenan calls George a brilliant technician on commentary. George forces Andre onto his back and works a spinning toe hold. Andre boots George with his free foot and sends him flying out of the ring. George climbs back in to meet a big boot to the face. Andre finishes his opponent with a Big Splash. Dupre is visibly scared and unable to provide any help.
Winner: Andre The Giant

“Mean” Gene Okerlund interviews The Valentines backstage prior to their upcoming bout. Okerlund asks who Greg has found to be their partner. Greg Valentine talks about the difficulty of finding someone to combat an insane madman like The Sheik. “You know what you do, Gene? You fight fire with fire!” “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert walks into the view of the camera with a big smile. The Valentines and Gilbert slap hands and head to the ring.

Elimination Match
Bobo Brazil, Sabu, & The Sheik vs. Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, Johnny Valentine, & “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert
Greg and The Sheik brawl at the onset. Greg hooks on a full nelson, but Sheik breaks free and gouges Greg in the eyes. Johnny argues with the referee about the Sheik’s tactics. With the referee distracted, Sheik pulls a spike from his trunks and stabs at Greg’s arm. Sheik quickly puts the spike back in his trunks and gets a nearfall. Sheik gnaws on Greg’s forehead motivating Greg to retreat to the floor to recover. Gilbert distracts Sheik on the outside allowing Greg to push Sheik into the ringpost. Gilbert quickly tags in and hits Sheik with a Hot Shot for a nearfall. Brazil and Johnny soon become the legal men and go to war with one another. Brazil hits a pair of Coco Butts while Johnny nails a few Atomic Skullcrushers, but neither can score a pinfall over one another. Greg tags in and attempts a double-axehandle off the top, but Bobo catches him with a big hammer punch. Sabu tags in and sets up a chair mid-ring. Greg avoids Air Sabu and tags in Gilbert. Gilbert scores with an elbow drop off the second rope and follows up with a neckbreaker clothesline for the pin.
Eliminated: Sabu

The Sheik and Johnny square off. Johnny lands a chop to the chest before the action spills to the floor. As the referee is busy with Gilbert and Greg warning them not to interfere, Sheik grabs the ringbell and smashes Johnny with it. Back in the ring, Sheik gnaws on his opponent’s forehead and Johnny is quickly a bloody mess. Brazil tags in on Sheik’s back and looks to capitalize, but Johnny catches Brazil with a kneelift and tags in Greg. Greg sinks on his signature Figure Four Leglock forcing Brazil to crawl to the ropes for the break. Gilbert tags in and surprisingly dumps Brazil on his head with a piledriver and makes the cover.
Eliminated: Bobo Brazil

Gilbert pounds the mat in celebration. The Valentines distract the referee in their corner as The Sheik rushes into the ring. Gilbert is seen fiddling with something before throwing a fireball directly into Sheik’s face. Sheik covers his face in pain as Gilbert rolls him up for the three count.

Winners: Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, Johnny Valentine, & “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert

Afterwards, Gilbert puts his sunglasses on and struts in the ring. Gilbert and The Valentines hug as the crowd jeers. A blinded Sheik attempts to grab onto Gilbert’s leg. Gilbert and The Valentines put the boots to Sheik and beat him down. As they exit down the aisle, Sheik gets hold of a microphone and screams for Gilbert.

RWF World Championship
Nick Bockwinkle © vs. Harley Race
Both men make their entrances before match introductions take place. Heenan speculates on commentary that the undefeated Bockwinkle may hold the title until he retires. The combatants lock up when the bell rings. Race with a knee to the gut followed by a vertical suplex. Race sends Bockwinkle to the corner and attempts a shoulder dive, but Bockwinkle moves at the last second. Race slams his shoulder into the ringpost and falls to the floor. Heenan laughs uproariously on commentary. Bockwinkle gloats in the ring when Race suddenly grabs his leg, drags him to the floor, and sends the champion into the ringpost as well. Back in the ring, Race executes his patented piledriver and goes for the cover. Heenan throws down his headset and leaps onto the apron in protest. Race grabs Heenan and pulls him into the ring. Bockwinkle attempts to sneak up behind Race, but Race whips Heenan directly into Bockwinkle. Bockwinkle staggers from the collision as Heenan falls out of the ring. Race executes another piledriver and makes the cover.
Winner and New RWF World Champion: Harley Race

Harley Race celebrates in the ring as Heenan and Bockwinkle exit the arena together. Backstage, “Mean” Gene Okerlund attempts to interview both men. Bockwinkle takes a knee while holding his neck – still hurting from Race’s pair of piledrivers. Heenan walks in and out of the frame hollering “THIS WASN’T THE PLAN! Greg “The Hammer” Valentine vs. Antonio Rigatoni
Valentine carries the trophy from winning the Saskatoon Survival match on his way to the ring. Rigatoni works for a wristlock, but Valentine turns it into a full nelson. Valentine pummels his opponent with a flurry of punches. Rigatoni slips free of a body slam attempt and eats a vicious chop for his efforts. Valentine hits the body slam and sinks on the figure-four leglock for the submission. Valentine hoists up the trophy following the victory.

Bobo Brazil, Sabu, & Killer Kowalski vs. The Valiants (w/Capt. Lou Albano) & Gorgeous George (w/Cherie Dupre)
The Valiants ambush Sabu before the bell rings with a double clothesline. Johnny attempts to capitalize by shooting Sabu to the ropes, but Sabu nails a spinning leg lariat and makes the tag to Kowalski. The crowd erupts as Kowalski immediately locks the dreaded stomach claw on Johnny. Albano quickly jumps on the apron to distract the referee as Johnny pulls a chain from his trunks and punches Kowalski with it.

After some back-and-forth action, Brazil and George become the legal men. George attempts to the spinning toe hold a few times, but Brazil kicks him in the rear sending him outside of the ring. On the outside, the crowd erupts again as Brazil whips George into a nearby batting cage. Brazil tosses George back into the ring and tags in Sabu. Sabu hooks on the camel clutch, but Dupre reaches into the ring to rake Sabu’s eyes. The referee admonishes Dupre and ejects her from the ringside area. With Sabu focused on the actions of Dupre, Jimmy gets the tag. Jimmy gouges Sabu in the eyes and picks up a nearfall following an atomic drop. The Valiants continue to tag in-and-out using underhanded tactics. Jimmy nails his top rope elbow and goes for the cover. Having seen enough, Brazil enters the ring and goes after The Valiants. Brazil sends The Valiants into opposite turnbuckles and hoists up Sabu to land Air Sabu on both men. The referee warns Brazil several times before calling for the bell.

Mil Mascaras vs. Bob Crabapple
Mascaras gets a big pop from the Arizona crowd. A test of strength starts things off before Crabapple decides to kick Mascaras in the gut. Crabapple quickly hits the ropes and attempts a sunset flip. Mascaras catches Crabapples legs and hooks them both for the flash pinfall. Crabapple complains to the referee that his trunks were pulled as Mascaras slaps hands with fans around ringside.
Winner: Mil Mascaras

The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff vs. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan & “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers
Volkoff riles up the crowd with a full rendition of the Russian national anthem. Immediately following the anthem, Rogers nails Volkoff with a jumping knee smash for a nearfall. Duggan tags in and executes a piledriver for another nearfall. Duggan revs up the crowd with a “USA!” chant before landing another piledriver. Rogers blocks Sheik from making the save as Duggan makes the pin.

RWF World Champion Harley Race & RWF Tag Team Champions The Destroyer & Frank Gotch vs. Ted DiBiase, King Kong Bundy, and Ox Baker
Gotch and Baker start off for their respective teams. Gotch levels Gotch with a running uppercut and works a crossface/armbar combo. Destroyer tags in and continues the punishment with a single leg Boston crab. Baker fights back and manages to tag in Bundy. Bundy squashes Destroyer with a running powerslam. Bundy attempts a running elbow drop, but Destroyer rolls away and tags Gotch back in. Gotch immediately hoists up Bundy with an Iowa backdrop as the crowd roars. Bundy rolls out of the ring to recover with Gotch hot on his tail. DiBiase distracts the referee as Bundy smacks Gotch with the ring bell. Bundy tosses Gotch back into the ring and tags in DiBiase. DiBiase climbs up to the high rent distract. Gotch pops back up, races up the turnbuckle, and executes a superplex.

Both men tag out. Baker rushes at Race and gets caught in a small package for a nearfall. Race gains the advantage with a swinging neckbreaker and tags in Destroyer. Baker roars back and levels Destroyer with a big clothesline that sends Destroyer out of the ring. DiBiase tags in, piledrives Destroyer on home plate, and quickly re-enters the ring ordering the referee to count. Destroyer dramatically makes it back between the ropes at the count of 19. DiBiase locks on the Million Dollar Sleeper, but Destroyer manages to shove him into the turnbuckle. Both men collapse to the mat and crawl to their corners to tag out. Baker sends Gotch into the corner, but Gotch bounces out and levels Baker with a running forearm. Race becomes the legal man and takes out Baker with his signature piledriver for the win.

Bobo Brazil, Sabu, & Killer Kowalski vs. Ted DiBiase, King Kong Bundy, & Gorgeous George (w/Cherie Dupre)
Brazil and George start off for their respective teams. George fingernail rakes the back of his opponent and narrowly avoids a knee lift by Brazil. George hits the ropes and is leveled by a shoulderblock. Brazil lands a hammer punch and a Bobo body slam for a nearfall. Sabu tags in and immediately sets up a chair mid-ring for a triple jump moonsault. Sabu botches the spot and becomes tangled in the ropes. Bundy becomes the legal man and squashes Sabu with his patented avalanche. Members of both teams rush the ring for a brawl before a pinfall can be attempted. DiBiase gets the tag and sinks on the figure four-leglock, but Sabu is able to reach the ropes. DiBiase pulls Sabu back to mid-ring and latches on the Million Dollar Sleeper. Bundy and George block Brazil and Kowalski from making the save as Sabu goes to sleep.

Mil Mascaras vs. Bob Crabapple
Mascaras gets a big pop from the Arizona crowd. Crabapple attempts a hip toss, but Mascaras flips over and lands on his feet to the amazement of the crowd. Frustrated, Crabapple rushes at Mascaras who sends him to the mat twice with deep arm drags. Mascaras then sinks on the bow & arrow. Crabapple holds on as long as he can before reluctantly giving up.
Winner: Mil Mascaras

The Valiants (w/Capt. Lou Albano) vs. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan & “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers
Jimmy pokes Rogers in the eye and slams Rogers’ head into the buckle. The Valiants show off their tag-team expertise by making frequent tags in-and-out – choking Rogers with the tag rope on one occasion. Rogers mounts a comeback and hits Jimmy with a piledriver before making the hot tag to Duggan. Duggan levels Jimmy with a pair of Tough Guy clotheslines as the crowd erupts. Jimmy bails to the floor to recover. Duggan attempts to follow, but gets send into the post after a distraction from Johnny. Back in the ring, Jimmy hits the top rope elbow and goes for the cover. Johnny blocks Rogers from making the save, but Duggan manages to get the shoulder up regardless. With the ref ordering the non-legal men back to their corners, Jimmy pulls a foreign object from his trunks and nails Duggan with it for another nearfall. Johnny tags in and scales the turnbuckle. Johnny leaps off and Duggan catches him in midair with a spear for a dramatic nearfall. Duggan manages to make the tag to Rogers. Rogers rolls up the still discombobulated Johnny with his feet on the ropes for extra leverage. Jimmy rushes in to break things up, but Rogers sends him right over the top rope onto a screaming Albano. Rogers sinks on his figure-four grapevine and Johnny quickly surrenders.

RWF World Champion Harley Race & RWF Tag Team Champions The Destroyer & Frank Gotch vs. The Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, & Ox Baker
Destroyer works over Sheik early with a grinding headlock and a handstand kneedrop. Gotch tags in and looks to maintain the advantage, but Sheik stuffs a headlock takeover attempt and turns it into an abdominal stretch. Sheik shouts obscenities to the crowd as he works the hold. Volkoff tags in and shoots Gotch into the ropes. Both men take each other down with simultaneous clotheslines. Gotch recovers first and makes the tag to Race. Race hoists up the Russian for a shoulder breaker, but Baker manages to slap Volkoff’s boot for the blind-tag. Baker downs the RWF Champion with a clothesline. Baker attempts to gnaw on Race’s forehead. Race manages to back Baker into his corner and hit several shoulder thrusts. Destroyer tags in and executes a sensational suplex on Baker to applause from the crowd. Baker bails to the ringside area. Destroyer follows and initiates a brawl that eventually leads to Baker gaining control again. Sheik tags in and works over Destroyer with kicks from his loaded boot. Sheik sinks on the camel clutch, but Destroyer refuses to submit. Volkoff tags in and goes for a pinfall attempt following a double throat thrust. Gotch quickly jumps in to break up the pin. Baker becomes legal again and finishes off Destroyer with the heart punch for the victory.
