A League of Extraordinary Gentlemen...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Month 4 - Card 9 - Match Results:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Johnny Gargano vs One Half of The LXG World Tag Team Champions - Jimmy Superfly Snuka:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After being initially outmaneuvered, Snuka goes on a prolonged outside and inside the ring offense until Gargano achieves a huge match turning reversal by Suplexing Snuka off the top rope foiling his Deathjump attempt; Garganos "build up his finisher" offense stalls however as Snuka rebounds with a Leap Frog And Chop that stuns Gargano just enough for the three count at the 6 minute mark.
*Jimmy Snuka defeats Johnny Gargano via Pinfall*
(Jimmy Snuka -129 / Johnny Gargano 0).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Madison Rayne vs Trish Stratus:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Madison Rayne had a lot to prove in her first match in The LXG and got right down to business; Rayne then proceeded to completely outclass Stratus, it took her 12 minutes to do it, but Rayne finnaly pinned Stratus after she hit her RAYNE CHECK - A Guillotine Drop for the victory.
*Madison Rayne defeats Trish Stratus via Pinfall*
(Madison Rayne +42 / Trish Stratus -36).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. The Prince of Darkness - Kevin Sullivan & One Man Gang vs The Killer Bees with Captain Lou Albano:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A tag contest that only lasted about 90 seconds or so marked a change in demeanor and approach for The Killer Bees; after Kevin Sullivan commands the offense and cuts part of Jim Brunzells ear off with a Foreign Object, B. Brian Blair is tagged in and in a fit of quintessential rage - absolutely destroys Sullivan outside the ring with an Airplane Spin that launches Sullivan into a concrete column in the second row of the crowd forcing Morgan Dollar to disqualify Blair.
*Sullivan & Gang defeated The Killer Bees via Disqualification*
As Captain Lou clips One Man Gang in an attempt to prevent this escalating further, the scene has already detonated - the two teams, additional security as well as empassioned fans all start a huge brawl that takes a good 15 minutes to break up, even after Andre the Giant gets involved as well. When Albano later found out that Sullivan may have paid off referee Morgan Dollar, he said he wants Sullivan's severed head on a spike.
(Sullivan & Gang +101 / Antonino Rocca -99).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. King Kong Bundy with Sherri Martel vs. One Half of The LXG World Tag Team Champions - Giant Baba:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
A 15 minute back and forth clash between two large and powerful men with multiple highlights which included Bundy catching a karate punch from Baba in the palm of his hand and Baba putting Bundy through a ringside table via a Vertical Suplex - and a Delayed One at that; but the difference in the match turned out to be Bundy's relentless brawling which set up his AVALANCHE finisher, which after a second execution of it - enabled him to pin the resilient Baba.
*King Kong Bundy defeated Giant Baba via Pinfall*
Sherri Martel was absolitely furious with herself after this match because she was on the fence for a while with proposing a Double Ratings Point match. She knew this wasn't going to be an easy match - but Martel manages with her brain - not her heart.
( King Kong Bundy +86 / Giant Baba -92 ).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Vipers Pit - Episode 4:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On today's show Pit welcomed two guests to the program, the leader and champion of the womens movement within The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen as well as The LXG Life Coach, member of Van Halen and budding eclectic entrepreneur - David Lee Roth.
Trish Stratus highlights:
---------------------------------------
Cheech Marin - Zoom in Holmes! Zoom in!!
Tommy Chong - I'm trying to man...but I keep fogging up...the lens.
Pit Viper - Welcome Ms. Stratus
Trish Stratus - Thank you Pit, it's nice to be here.
Tommy Chong (from a distance) - It's even nicer now that you're here...Wait...Oh Shit...I just said that really out loud man.
Pit Viper - So through you're efforts...you have secured a foot hold inside The LXG so women now have a place here. (Cheech Marin leads the applause within the studio audience).
Trish Stratus - Thank you, it wasn't easy but to quote a phrase - We're gonna make it after all. And a special shout out to Penny Banner for winning The LXG Television Title!
Cheech Marin (from a distance laughing and in his best Mr. Fuji impression) - BANZAI!!
David Lee Roth / Trish Stratus highlights:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Pit Viper - So Dave, I've heard so much about the saga of Van Halen...question for you...how would you describe the difference between Van Hagar, and Van Halen?
David Lee Roth - Well Pit my man...Sammy is great but he and I have different approaches and subsequent effects on how the band appears and performs...Van Halen music makes you want to drink, dance and screw...Van Hagar music makes you want to start a relationship, move to the suburbs and buy a Mazda.
Pit Viper - I'm still a little confused, Ms. Stratus, are you a fan of Van Halen and or Hagar?
Trish Stratus - (in a deep sexy voice) Absolutely...
(David Lee Roth raises an eyebrow and spins slowly around in his chair and immediately has on his open mouth smile - a smile that's not just a smile - its a lifestyle).
Pit Viper - Now that...was totally yummy...could you slowly elaborate for us...please!
Trish Stratus - Van Hagar was cool - their music had some balads in there...they were like...a bowl of ice cream when you needed to have a good cry...
(Diamond Dave makes a respectful face and nods in agreeance).
Trish Stratus - But Van Halen...now their music was like...pure adrenaline...they were more like...A Tang Screwdriver just before you were about to do something you knew you were going to regret tomorrow morning.
(Pit and Dave are speechless - they just turn and stare directly into the camera).
Tommy Chong - (From a distance) - Heeeyyy man...now you spilt you're coffee on me...man.
Cheech Marin - (Also from a distance) - Aw Shit I'm sorry...This is nuts man...I'm so horny I think I can pole vault man.
David Lee Roth - I'm just hoping the folks at Hallmark are watching tonight...because Trish that comparison has got a "just broke up greeting card" somewhere in there.
Pit Viper - I can't top any of this...good night everybody!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Unbreakable - Michael Elgin & Wrestlings Worst Nightmare - Kevin Steen with Precious Paul Ellering vs. Star Slayer & Darkest Justice with Magnus Colby:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some said it was the fastest 6 minutes ever as the pace of the offense and reversals were so fast thst it was hard to identify at times who was in control of the match, after Steen made a hot tag to Elgin he soon became a real problem for Slayer and Justice inside the ring; after slithering outside the ring, Justice turned the tables by first blasting Elgin in the head with a Steel Chair - and then Justice and Slayer both turned towards Colby who nodded - Slayer then tossed Justice his rifle and Justice drove the shoulder but of the rifle into Elgin's face earning the disqualification.
*Michael Elgin & Kevin Steen defeat Star Slayer & Darkest Justice via Disqualification*
Most in attendance thought Colby's team disqualified themselves deliberately but all in attendance took great delight as Elgin, Steen and Ellering furiously attacked Slayer, Justice and Colby post match - Steen repeatedly bit Colbys face and Ellering put out Colby's own lit cigar right between his own eyes as a bloadsoaked and unhinged Elgin Double Chokeslamed Slayer and Justice into the vacated first row seats.
(Elgin & Steen +23 / Randy Savage -23).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6. Gladiator of Aethra - Paralyze vs Frank Gotch:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Most in attendance were expecting a war between this alien juggernaut and one of the best scientific wrestlers of all time, but all were shocked at how easily Paralyze tossed Frank Gotch around the ring with great ease; many expected some sort of foul play as Paralyze hit Gotch with his finisher - THE PARALYZER - A Falling Neckbreaker From The Top Turnbuckle inside of only 3 minutes.
*Paralyze defeated Frank Gotch via Pinfall*
Even Paralyze seemed confused because Gotch was one of the few wrestlers from our planet that he respected, he definitely wasn't like most. Unbeknownst to Paralyze as well as to everyone else in attendance, someone in the locker room had tampered with Gotch's water before the match, the powerful hallucinogenic had taken affect right away. The orchestrator of this experiment sat in the front row, his smile could even be seen through his ski mask. As Havoc came out to congratulate Paralyze, Havoc also nodded to Ski Mask who nodded back.
(Paralyze +44 / Gotch -2).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
League News:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The LXG has now completely eclipsed Wince McCant's World Wide Empire in the ratings!!
Rumor Mill:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The scouting party that was sent from The Dominion to Earth to locate their missing wrestlers (Moog & Sentinel & Burning Man) may have escaped from their cages at The Bronx Zoo...and scattered in different directions out of New York City.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(3) Fly on the Wall Reports:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.) Eight Men Out
------------------------------------------------------------
While technically still the principal owner of The LXG but the least involved (by design) in the day to day duties of The LXG, The Dark Menace has come up with a solution for the incredible amounts of complaints and grievances filed by many within The League to appoint an acting Commissioner. The Dark Menace has asked all of the factions to consolidate their stands in order to back the manager or employee who would be their choice to be acting LXG Commissioner, the people have spoken - the candidates are:
1. Lou Albano
2. Bobby Heenan
3. Paul Ellering
4. Jim Cornette
5. Wince McCant
6. Johnny Rodz
7. Abroz
8. Plethador
These 8 men are soon to compete in an 8 man no dq, single elimination tournament - the winner becomes the new acting LXG Commissioner.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2.) Lawyers Guns And Money:
-------------------------------------------------
Playboy Buddy Loophole Rose could not have written a better legal document than the contract that was signed between The LXG and Kevin Sullivan on behalf of his Legion of Doom. Even after reviewing the virtually flawless document rigged with bombs - expertly camouflaged within a sea of legalese, hot air and horseshit, Endgame, The Wicked Monk and Sky Low Low still have the feeling that they are missing something here.
(At a much later date, they will all discover that while they had legally tied Murdok's zombie creating ways, there was nothing in the contract stipulating that Gustav can't create via infection - all as per Sullivan's plan).
3) Fair Warning:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Progress is being made in leaps and bounds at The LXG facility on the moon although The Dominions brief presence there was quite upsetting. With Wolf and Lope on the ground and Bloodline from the air, they were prepared to take out the Dominion stealth reconnaissance craft but suddenly the Dominion seemed to have what they wanted and left as quickly as they came. Most were relieved although Wolf is still standing behind his gut feeling that this was definitely - Strike Two when it comes to Castilex.
(Unbeknownst to all - the Dominion is sending three wrestlers they have captured from a planet called Vampir to infiltrate The LXG - and a large invasion force has also started preparations for a large scale landing on The Dark Side of The Moon to use as a base for a subsequent planned invasion of The Earth).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
