Have to agree with TTX - Definitely not happy with the Mountie losing to Valentine... And even though I'm obviously a big fan of the Family, wasn't disappointed with Matt Cross (one of my favorite indy stars) scoring an exciting win over Keith Blood... Some great points made by cruefan68 as well... Brody is a beast and it's kinda surprising how swiftly Tyler Black is falling in the ranks... Also pleased that Trish was able to knock Wince out of the Commissioner's Tournament... That being said, it looks like something ominous might be heading towards the LXG for the Lucky 13 PPV... Storytelling at its finest... Excellent work! Hey Pariah! Thank you dude for that high praise! I truly hope everyone has a good time at The League! The Mountie I'm sure will get into a grove, even though he lost his first match - he's a lot of fun to have in the League. Trish kicked the snot out of Wince thats for sure. Wince is going down a very dark path - and this loss only speeds up his descent. More to follow. This will not be a match of scientific finesse - these four are going to go at it tooth and nail. The hatred between Piper and Viper is off the charts - and alot is at stake.

These two teams put on such a gritty display that Omega just had to orchestrate this first of it's kind Time Limit Draw Rematch. With any luck, it will be even wilder than the first one, but both teams definitely deserve a chance at a definite win.

This match is really about Father Don Leo Jonathans revenge against Abroz for manipulating Jonathans power to resurrect. Abroz plans to spread the disease known as Black Death, Jonathan (and his team) wants to eradicate it from the Earth.

(According to The Guardian - this stipulation and idea came directly from the will of Zeus himself - via a dream the Guardian had as he conversed in the dream with a holy man named Shade. Either the true Minister Of War or someone who is loyal enough to fight for him - will show all who the true Aethran Minister of War should be).

He already is Minister of War for most. Wants to murder Santon - slowly.

This is the brainchild of Wince McCan't. He proposed this challenge to The Dark Menace (Through Stacy Keibler as insurance) of one of his wrestlers vs one of The Dark Menaces convinced that there's no one within The LXG who can take Hogan.
He has absolutely no idea who Monolith is.

Month 5 - Card 4 - Match Announcements
The LXG Arena in The City of Fight on the Moon !

1. Jushin Liger vs John Pesek !
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Newcomer to The League Jushin Liger is looking to start off his career here with off course a win, but he's going to have to go through a very focused and determined opponent named John Pesek to do it. Another new school vs old school match up, also with different wrestling styles.

2. Code Destroyer with Epoch vs Barry Windham !
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Code Destroyer (and Iron Hand) in this fed are thugs for hire as it were. They were formerly part of Sly Drurys group Martial Law but Epoch lured them away from there to join Epoch's Third Reign. Epoch has plans for them both. This is Code Destroyers first match in The League and he is going up against another League rookie in Barry Windham. Windham is looking forward to the competition and has no problem that The League is only "mostly" human.

3. From The Family of Blood - Count Necros & Blood Storm vs The Samdman & Justin Credible - No Dq Match !

Count Necros recruited Blood Storm from the now defunct NAWC into The Family of Blood, Necros watched him in action. He won by trapping his opponent in a sleeperhold with barbed wire wrapped around his forearm. Necros told Coven Black he's just the man for us. Needless to say, the medical staff and security will be bright eyed and bushy tailed for this one.

4. Catfight with Magnus Colby vs Taeler Hendrix with Clint Eastwood & Clyde !

The relationship between Catfight and Magnus Colby is not entirely known - somewhere between a couple and a manager with benefits. She will be facing Taeler Hendrix who is about to be married to her manager Clint Eastwood and totally embraces her "weird brother in law" as she calls Clyde. Hendrix and Eastwood are to be married at the upcomimg Lucky 13 PPV.

5. Payback vs George Hackenschmidt !

A real clash of styles here as well as planets and time periods. Both combatants have heard of each other (the wrestling world being smaller than we think) and there is a mutual respect. Hackenschmidt knows he's facing an explosive daredevil and Payback knows Hackenschmidt is a strong scientific wrestler.

6. Kavan & Gerik The Gifted with Zaratticus vs The Greek Gods - Actagon & Proteus !

Kavan and Gerik are a vampire and dark magician that are a tag team led exclusively by Zaratticus - who has made dark magic deals with no less than; Thantos, Sly Drury, Epoch and even Wince McCan't. Zaratticus does not even intend on being in town when Wince McCan't unleashes his secret weapon. Kavan & Gerik have their work cut out for them against one of the most technically sound tag teams of all time in The Greek Gods from the GWF.

They're not normal - a human being must be in charge of all this insanity, and Heenan can think of no finer or more appropriate human being than himself. Unibal is Afghanistan Bananastan's representative in all of this as Unibal is actually Little Beaver under a red mask.

8. Wrestlings Worst Nightmare - Kevin Steen vs Bloodline !

The former Cinderella Man - Kevin Steen is trying to get back on track since his title match opportunity and he faces the grandson of Omega of Cetus - Bloodline. Bloodline is not a wrestler to be taken lightly by any stretch of the imagination. When reached for comment - Kevin Steen regarded Bloodline as "nothing special" and "grandson of a punk". If trash talking was the sport, Steen would be at least world champion, so we will see.

9. Tommy Rich & Blackjack Mulligan vs Roddy Piper & Cowboy Bob Orton. Double Ratings Points Feud rematch. Rich & Mulligan lead the feud 1 to 0.

No love loss between either sides of this feud, both teams absolutely hate each other. Extra security will be on hand and the possibilities of other wrestlers jumping into this one and dog piling on each other is staggering. There is a strong probability that this match will disintegrate into a full out rumble.

10. The Only The Strong Survive Tournament - Adam Pearce vs "Solar" Flair - Special Referee - Morgan Dollar !

Adam Pearce is one of the few that has turned down Flairs offer to join the Figure Four Horsemen - and he has royally pissed off Flair in the process as well as greatly amused himself. So far Flair (via his charismatic manager Jack Nicholson) have recruited Greg Valentine and suprisingly the Original Nature Boy - Buddy Rogers - some have said it's due to the fact that Flair is quite frankly kissing Rogers ass - for now. If Flair pulls out the victory here, some are asking will this change Pearce's mind and if not - who will become the fourth member?

The Destroyer is one of the very few wrestlers in The League who is undefeated. He has quietly and modestly climbed up the ratings and has earned his shot at this title. Penny Banner (and her main squeeze Mr. BANZAI! Fuji - who is One Half of The LXG Hardcore Tag Team Champions with The Masked Superstar) will be defending this title at any and all costs. The Destroyer has two opponents to contend with in this match but the man is rock solid and doesn't care.

12. LXG HARDCORE TITLE MATCH:

Due to Londos winning this title and Martel having earned her shot prior to the roster reorganizations, this will be the only time Londos will be defending this title against a female wrestler. His next and future opponents will be from the Hardcore division. But for now, Skinhead Sherri Martel has her shot. She has curiously been keeping company as of late with the aristocratic and charming Count Necros - sources at The League aren't exactly sure what to make of that. The idea of a potentially vampiric Sherri Martel both thrills and scares many around The League.

Don't know anything about Bloodstorm... But, whatever makes the Family stronger... Something wicked this way comes! Hey Pariah! He is a particularily violent and hardcore vampire from the NAWC. (If you go to www.krazykards.com and check out card set 7, thats the set he's in - along with Von Mahkrieg, Stephen & Mallick DeArcher (The New Kndred Tag Team, actually when you select set 7, the wrestler you see is him). He looks like something out of that movie The Lost Boys thats on unimaginable amounts of crack. He and The Count will be a tag team in the League in the Hardcore Tag Division. That move that he has where he traps his opponent in a sleeperhold but has barbed wire wrapped around the forearm is a plus 1 move called Bloodletting. The stories alone are freaking people out in The League, but he and the Count will be wrestling soon! Thanks as always bro! |

In the LXG - he has been recruited by The Family of Blood. Most of the other vampires from the Krazy Kard line have actually been captured and forced into servitude by The Dominion. I am already looking forward to Bloodstorm after that description. I use two cards from the Krazy Kards collection in my fed (Power Surge) and I find that they fit right in. Some awesome lineups upcoming and Bri in case you haven't heard on 2/23 they are releasing a DVD and Blu Ray of The Doors final video recorded concert at the Isle of Wight, cleaned up and restored for this release. Doors fans rejoice! |
