I think my favorite overall MARVEL Universe individual movies are the first Iron Man and the first Avengers and my overall favorite MARVEL Universe series is Captain America.
Looking really forward to this movie and I will be seeing it the Thursday night it is released (I see all the Star Wars and superhero movies I want to see on their Thursday release date- otherwise my 10th graders at work might spoil it the next day as some of them have in the past.)

Its still just once a year for Star Wars, so in my mind thats still manageable. Then again I am much more of a Star Wars fan than a comic book fan. If you want to get technical there is also the Clone Wars and Rebels animated series. They are canon after all. As for Captain America's strength... He's much more than just a regular dude. He was injected with the super soldier serum which took his strength, speed and stamina far beyond that of a regular human. True...but them being animated and not live action makes that a bit of a grey area. I haven't watched any of those shows.

I think you could compare them to Marvel's TV offerings, which I do watch. They reference the movies but the movies don't reference the shows. But if you REALLY want to know every ounce of canon story they have out there, you'd have to watch it all.

Clone Wars was fun.....though I missed out the last season....Rebels viewing is scattered but was better than Clone Wars really.

It sure looks like some characters are going to get killed off in this, probably Cap, Iron Man, and Thor. When I was a kid, this is the super hero movie I always wanted and it's almost here!

Looks like I will be attending a screening of the movie Thursday night April 26th via Rocket Mortgage (sponsors of the movie). *
Having not seen all the Marvel movies, what is the most important stuff I need to know going on so I'm not totally lost?
* This just happens to fall on draft night, so I'll be going into the bubble, taping the draft and watching when I get home.
