Blanchard gave Lou a few moments and Brunzell's card is nice. He has held his own so far in a few matches in my fed.

Thanks for the comments TTX, Humanoids4eva and walkswithwolf. Also thanks for the pic Vegas. Chris Candido (16) v. “Jumping” Jim Brunzell (49) Morgan Dollar has strict instructions for both men. Candido takes advantage of his slight power advantage including a running lariat. A snap suplex forces Brunzell to the floor and Candido comes out after him. Dr. Mike Lano ends up caught up in the action and Brunzell capitalizes. Brunzell works the leg with a figure four leglock and leg scissors. Candido back with a choke. Snap suplex and Candido hooks the leg for a one count (R8/P3). Diving headbutt connects and a running lariat follows. BLOND BOMB hits but Brunzell slips a shoulder up (R7/P6) at the last second. The fans bite on the two count thinking it was likely over and it quickly is when a second BLOND BOMB connects (R7/P7). Candido comes up with big win but has earned himself a second round match with Lou Thesz. Hard to imaging Candido taking that one. It really appears that Steve Williams will have a hard round to repeating as tournament champion having to face Curt Hennig in the next round and then potentially Lou Thesz in round three. In somewhat strange twist, I have notice of the first four matches, the bouts have ended with a dice roll that matches the required pin (3/3) (6/7) (5/5) (7/7). You can never tell what the dice will do next. Next match . . . Buddy Rogers (9) v. Tom Pritchard (56) Nature Boy should easily go through Pritchard.

Thank you for making predictions Vegas , TTX , Humanoids4eva and walkswithwolf . Seven times as champion is impressive Vegas . Rogers is currently my Commonwealth Champion in my Maple Leaf Wrestling federation and shows no signs of dropping the strap any time soon. Buddy Rogers (9) v. Tom Pritchard (56) Pritchard gains the upper hand dropping Rogers with a back elbow. Rogers counters a charge into the corner with a clothesline. Rogers works the leg with knee drops and catches Pritchard with dropkicks. The pace picks up and Rogers controls. Piledriver rocks Pritchard. Rogers with a series of dropkicks and jumping knee smash. Rogers sends Pritchard into the ropes and both men go for clothesline and crash to the mat. Rogers is far fresher and is up first. Pritchard counters and catches Nature Boy with a back elbow and then clothesline in the corner. Pritchard with kick in the corner and then he mounts the turnbuckles. Rogers tosses Pritchard to the mat and then drops an elbow into the knee. Rogers applies a FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE but Pritchard rolls him to reverse and escape (R10/P7). Rogers attempts a pin using the ropes but Morgan Dollar is not fooled. To the floor where Pritchard shoves Dr. Mike Lano into Rogers to gain control. Pritchard controls. Jumping knee drop to the knee and Dr. Tom Bomb connects. Pritchard to the top but Rogers knocks the ropes and Pritchard crashes to the mat in a heap. Rogers scrambles to make the cover and just gets the three-count using the ropes for leverage (R4/P4). Rogers with some questionable tactics and an exact pin roll to move onto the next round. Stan Hanson (24) v. Larry Zbyszko (41) This is my first time using both of these cards from Expansion Three so I am really looking forward to seeing what happens. Something tells me Zbyszko might take it.

Good match with Rogers and Dr. Tom!
Looking forward to the battle of former AWA champions; The Lariat versus Larry Legend.
This is tough, but will still stick with Zbyszko in this round. Hansen's card has stalled a bit for me while Zbyszko always makes a match out it (plus he is my current avatar).
