Proud & Powerful? That's the name Santana and Ortiz are going with? Sounds like the slogan for a women's empowerment organization. I can't comment on this show since I didn't see it but this name is really terrible in my eyes. Same thoughts as you. It sounds like a combination of the women's movement and LGBTQ+ pride. Something tells me that is not what either of these guys is looking for.

When I saw the match with Chuck Taylor, Orange Cassidy, Alex Reynolds and John Silver with costumes and audience members in masks, I couldn't help like I have seen something like that somewhere else before...

I think I liked the show alot better than ace:
- Agreed Proud and Powerful is a terrible name.. let them just be Santana and Ortiz! I agree 100% that the attack on the R%R express was totally pointless. I mean, if you want to bring guys in for nostalglia, let that happen. If you're going to bring the old guys in and actually have a program, fine. Splitting the difference is dumb. We get it.. the Inner Circle are heels.
- OTOH, when they snuck into the crowd and dressed as fans and attacked the Bucks, that was awesome. I think having them beat down the old timers took away from that awesomeness.
- I really liked the halloween stuff.. both the Rick and Morty cross promo and the Bucks dressed as Ken and Ryu was fun.
-I was happy to at least see other women because Britt Baker and Riho.. not the best match, but better than the same one again.
- They answered my complaint about not having the midcard guys on the show, but tossing them in 6 man tag matches wasn't what I had in mind. The guys that lost to Omega and the Bucks got some good exposure (as best as you can do in a loss)
- Jericho continues to be awesome
-I though Mox did a good job with what he had to work with, but he's not Stone Cold. Do something new! I'd like this angle alot better if he said 'fine, no hard core, I'll beat your boy at his own game, and It'll count', instead of feeding what he doesn't like and threatening to actually kill him.
The next couple weeks are the big ones from a long term viability standpoint... will they recover any of the viewers that wondered off to watch the World Series? And how will the card after the PPV go?

wildfire - You bring up a good point with Mox being to much like Stone Cold. Which doesn't help if you are trying to have him get heat for his match with one of the biggest babyface's in the company. One second he's booed for going after Omega, then you have him trash an annoying mid-card heel and the crowd totally gets behind him. Maybe they don't care about the face/heel dynamic. I don't know.

I think at this point in the fed the crowd gets behind anyone they recognize, and he's one of the more recognizable starts thanks to his time in WWE. The time of one off PPVs that can sell out to smarks because they only do an event 3 times a year are gone.. they need more casual fans if this is ever going to be more than an indy fed getting it's 15 minutes of fame. That said, he can be a 'tweener, I'd just like him not to be Millenial Stone Cold.

Another really good episode. Jerichos video package was excellent. (Virgil & youngest AEW World Champion In history) Cody’s promo 🔥🔥🔥. Solid wrestling throughout the night. PAC’s top tier heel work. Orange Cassidys kicks to PAC and the Bastards reaction. Gets real heel heat. Dark Order’s best match so far (& reaction). Spears n Tully are really cool together (Tully’s great, hope to see his daughter join the team some day). Nice short match to offset all the longer ones.

Week 6
PAC vs Trent This was fine. I've often wondered why Trent has never been more utilized in the business. He can go. I'm glad they had PAC kick the taste out of Orange Cassiday's mouth. That was the only acceptable reaction.
Cody's announcement was interesting. I wonder how that is going to play out.
It's starting to feel like Tony Ski-avone is Alfred to Cody's Bruce Wayne.
Dark Order vs Private Party I see they made Evil Uno put on a shirt. Thank you. This match failed to hold my attention. Dark Order are still wrestling the same style and move set they used as Super Smash Brothers. You'd think they'd change it up more for a 'heel' gimmick.
Jericho promo was entertaining. I don't like when they pipe in the crowd reaction over vignettes. Distracting and annoying.
Women's match Kinda bored during this too. Just seemed like they were taking turns going through a rehearsed routine. At no point did this feel like they were competing except some of the spots by Hayter. This is a failing of so much women's wrestling out there. Too obvious that they are working together. Playing at wrestling. This went on way too long.
Hahaha! Well, Brandi Obama was speaking the truth tonight. And she was still totally unconvincing.
Shawn Spears vs Brandon Cutler The Chairman? Hmm, where have I heard that before? Spears is missing something. Like a personality. A decent gimmick. My interest. Not really sure why Tully was here. He added nothing to this besides lending his name to the show. A manager is supposed to supplement a wrestler who is lacking something. Just like Spears. But that didn't happen.
Jericho/Guevara vs Omega/Page Things picked up with the main event but I wasn't too invested in it. Kinda checked out at this point. Sammy looked like a boy among men. Disappointing finish and then the obligatory end of show melee. This was just f'n ridiculous. I was praying for New Jack to show up.
This was the most blah episode yet. Not necessarily bad but not very good either.

I’d agree w most of the wrestling being ok & that the women’s tag Match was boring and contrived. I think Cody’s Promo and the Jericho’s vignette were so incredible that it rated a little higher for me. I realize they weren’t matches, but they were “Elite” level bits. Sammy Guevara bringing you the fact that Jericho is the youngest champ in AEW history is an absolute classic. And Virgil! One had me full of adrenaline and the other pissing myself laughing.

Saw episode 5 not bad . But some/many of the storyline just don't seem to follow at all with no build up . Good to see Jamie Hayter back on it in a female tag team match .
