That's wild given that Meltzer is the one like a day earlier put the news out that Vince wanted those two back for NXT as top stars. Guess "plans change". |

I saw a theory on Reddit that predicted Meltzer floated this out on purpose so that when Cass and Enzo show up in AEW it will look like they stole them from NXT. I think the guy predicted they’d be Jerichos tag partners - but I was under the impression they’d be LAX? So probably just a wild guess. |

I have my concerns about AEW but I do like that they appear to be embracing the idea of "you never know what can happen in wrestling." That's something that has sorely been missing for a while now. There's been flashes of it here and there from various companies but it never seems to last long.

Is there only going to be 1 hour of nxt on the network now or will it get 2 hours just at a later time?

Is there only going to be 1 hour of nxt on the network now or will it get 2 hours just at a later time? Tonight both hours should be on there. The plan is the split hours for just the first 2 weeks while Suits finishes up on USA. Then October 2nd its 2 hours of NXT on USA and Thursday night replay on the network. |

Honestly I think it was a bad move to start 2 weeks early. Confuses the fans and takes the excitement out of the 10/2 show.

Honestly I think it was a bad move to start 2 weeks early. Confuses the fans and takes the excitement out of the 10/2 show. It conditions fans to tune in on Wednesday night before the big episode on 10/2. It's not a huge lead time but it's something, I guess. |
