Congrats to Inoki & Rikidozan. It'll be interesting if they have to face each other in the singles tournament. Hey topdollar my man! You raise an interesting scenario. In the singles tournament, this could get occassionally messy if team members wind up having to wrestle head to head in this one. Going to be posting some in between tournament information and developments beforw we get to posting the first round of the singles tourney. Here's to hoping they don't let us down. Many thanks for your support dude!

Building 64 Alcatraz Island In Between The First & Second Weekend Wednesday 5:00 P.M. The Warden & The Visitor
(The promoter, aka The Warden, is sitting at his desk within Building 64 with a strong cup of coffee when there is a knock at his door):
Warden (after taking a gulp) - Yeah...
Visitor (opens the door) - Good morning...and thank you for agreeing to meet with me...
Warden - Sure...have a seat...
Visitor (places a laptop on the other guest chair to his right) - I know you are a busy man...so I'll get right to the point...
Warden - You're dime pal...
Visitor - First of all...my congratulations on organizing these...remarkable tournaments of yours...
Warden (scratching his head a little) - Yeah...just...how did you...find out about these...again?...
Visitor (with a slight smile) - My friend...there is so...much more...than meets the eye...when it comes to...this...shared existence...of ours...
Warden (thinking to himself...great...another nut...how the hell do they find me?...hear him out and bullshit him) - Ok...
Visitor - I really admire...not only the hows of these tournaments...but the whys...attempts to resolve old feuds...as well as encourage new ones...via an irresistible premise...that is going to make you...a very rich man...
Warden (note...an appreciative nut) - Thank you...
Visitor (leans in a little closer) - What do you know...about...the Galaxian Wrestling Federation?...
Warden (and now we're back to...just a nut) - The...what?...
Visitor (grabs his laptop...types a few things...and spins it around so The Warden can see) - These my friend...are some of the wrestlers...from The Galaxian Wrestling Federation...
(The Warden looks at the laptop...and is so shocked...that he stops breathing for a bit...he wasn't 100 percent sure about...what he was actually witnessing...some looked human...some looked...somewhat human...some not human at all...and some looked to be...as big as Andre the Giant...he thought to himself...has to just be...the greatest make up and costuming...that he's ever seen...)
(He thought that...until he saw some of the...out and out...monsters and...and...strange things that were in those wrestling rings...)
Warden - Well...you definitely have my attention now...
Visitor - I thought I might...here's my proposition for you sir...what if...We...held two additional tournaments after the conclusion of you're second one...your 32 teams against my 32 teams...your 64 wrestlers...against my 64 wrestlers...and film each...and every match...just as you have done so...to this point?...
Warden (thinks for a bit) - I think...that...We...are going to be...incredibly rich men...
Visitor - Without a doubt...my friend...assuming you're 64...are up for the challenge...and won't succumb...to their fears?...
Warden (almost spits out his gulp of coffee in laughter) - Are you shitting...me?...these are the greatest wrestlers...and the...sickest...bastards...of all time!...
Visitor - What is the phrase...I shit you not?...well...I guess it's safe to assume...that's...a yes?...
Warden (leans in closer) - Absolutely...but this only happens on one...condition...my friend...
Visitor - Which is...
Warden - All matches...for both tournaments...are no disqualification...
Visitor (big smile now) - Well...you definitely have my attention now...deal...but one condition of my own...
Warden - Which is...
Visitor - No outside...interferences...
Warden (thinks quickly) - Deal...but with the exceptions of the wrestlers entourage...which includes...entourage/security...valets...and managers...
(The Warden looks at The Visitors business card he handed him, which read):
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Delmore Gobble Galaxian Wrestling Federation Kronos Division
You don't have to call me...I'll call you...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Visitor (with a bigger smile) - Done...
Warden (thinks for a bit) - Fine...here's my card...
(The Visitor looks at The Warden's slightly bent and coffee stained card, which read):
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Paul Heyman Promoter Extraordinaire & Absolutely Nobody's Fool
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello all!
Hope everyone is doing well, just a couple of related notes on current developments:
▪ Coming up next will be round one of the Alcatraz (Legends Singles) 64 man tournament.
▪ At this point, Promoter Heyman does not know if Andre the Giant will be able to compete due to the lead pipe assault on him by the rumored "7 or 8" and by whomever is pulling their strings.
▪ The always ready, willing and able Mr. X is just chomping at the bit to respectfully fill in for him in Andre's place.
▪ Also, for the upcoming singles tournament, we have the 32 matchups to be held in round one up front this time and they are as follows:
1. Ted DiBiase vs George Hackenschmidt
2. George Steele vs Blackjack Mulligan
3. Lou Thesz vs Nick Bockwinkel
4. Greg Valentine vs Roy Heffernan w/Wild Red Berry
5. Bruiser Brody vs John Tolos
6. Frank Gotch vs B. Brian Blair
7. Rikidozan vs Giant Baba
8. Mr. Saito vs Tommy Rich
9. Sabu vs Jim Londos
10. Rob Van Dam vs Yukon Eric
11. Billy Red Lyons vs The Iron Sheik
12. Mil Mascaras vs The Sheik
13. Freddie Blassie vs Luke Williams
14. Harley Race vs Dan Severn
15. Mr. Fuji vs The Crusher
16. The Masked Superstar vs Nikolai Volkoff
17. Road Warrior Hawk vs The Destroyer
18. Strangler Lewis vs Exotic Adrian Street w/Miss Linda
19. Bobby Eaton w/Jim Cornette vs Jimmy Snuka
20. Jim Brunzell vs The Mountie
21. Antonio Inoki vs Roddy Piper
22. Stan Lane w/Jim Cornette vs Chris Tolos
23. Don Leo Jonathan vs Kevin Sullivan
24. Road Warrior Animal vs Red Bastien
25. William Muldoon vs Gorgeous George w/Cherie Dupre
26. John Pesek vs Ivan Koloff
27. Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Jimmy Valiant
28. One Man Gang vs Johnny Valiant
29. The Sandman vs Buddy Rogers
30. Johnny Valentine vs Al Costello w/Wild Red Berry
31. Butch Miller vs King Kong Bundy
32. Johnny Saint vs Mr. X (if not - Andre the Giant)
Regarding the next two tournaments after these, just initiated and being co-organized by Delmore Gobble & Paul Heyman:
▪ The two tournaments will be held in a similar fashion after the conclusion of the 64 man Legends Singles tournament.
▪ When the matches are run, this time accompanying the wrestlers and teams to they're matches will be all of their standard entourages, valets and managers. But no other additional outside interferences.
▪ Please note, due to the climate and conditions of Alcatraz Island, alls still fair in the pre-match and post-match situations. And they may even play a larger part in the outcomes than usual now.
▪ Also to note, due to the no dq precondition, not to mention Heyman and Gobble both offering their wrestlers an additional financial and hardcore incentive to all on either Heyman's (Legends) side or Gobbles (Champions of The Galaxy) side, all the wrestlers cage pin ratings will be used and we'll take it from there.
▪ Both Tournaments will follow the established format but in this case the first tournament will be between 64 teams and the second and final will be between the 128 singles wrestlers. All matches will again be selected randomly.
▪ Gobble's teams and wrestlers will be presented to Heyman at the end of this singles tourney.
Thanks all!

Looks nightmarish....then again maybe someone's manipulating those nightmares. Can't wait to see how it goes. Mornin TTX! As I started rolling up and rolling out the matches for this first round of the singles tournament, I started thinking about a follow up to these tourney's. Originally it was just going to be The Legends aimed at each other in a hardcore format but then the scene above came to mind as well as what if 64 COTG wrestlers joined in the melee as well? And with the cage ratings to be used as starting points, I'm curious to see how that levels (or maybe skews in some cases) the playing fields - let alone with allowing the wrestlers their entourages/managers instead of just the one's built into their card mechanics. I wasn't going to split up the round results, but considering the fact that this one (and the two subsequent tournaments) are larger in size - I think I'm going to release the results in groups of 8 until I get to the smaller rounds. Always grateful you are a part of my endeavors my man!

Building 64 Alcatraz Island Second Weekend Saturday 12:00 P.M. Singles Tournament Round 1 Results ( 1 - 8 of 32)
1. Ted DiBiase vs George Hackenschmidt - Saturday 12:00 PM:
Ted DiBiase defeated George Hackenschmidt via Submission. Hackenschmidt submitted to DiBiase's come from behind MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER finisher at the 9:30 minute mark.
Pre-match, Ted DiBiase made George Hackenschmidt an offer to "take a dive" that according to DiBiase he, "Really shouldn't refuse...for seven or eight...really good reasons...of mine", Hackenschmidt responded by throwing a large wooden bench at DiBiase - narrowly missing him; Post-match, as soon as Hackenschmidt wearily regained his feet - he was brutally Speared To The Ground by Ivan Koloff Outside The Ring, "Took the poor man's way out...how noble", said DiBiase to him...
2. George The Animal Steele vs Blackjack Mulligan - Saturday 12:14:30 PM:
Blackjack Mulligan defeated George The Animal Steele via Submission. Steele submitted to a desperate Mulligan's CLAWHOLD finisher at the 27:30 minute mark.
Pre-match, Mulligan was suprised when Steele was suddenly staring at him through the bars of his own personal cell whilst eating some cockroaches; post-match, they were both too bloodied and exhausted to continue anything - in a weirdly touching moment, as they both lay on the canvas, Steele offered Mulligan a cockroach, to which Mulligan simply shook his head from side to side...
3. Lou Thesz vs Nick Bockwinkel - Saturday 12:47 PM:
Nick Bockwinkel defeated Lou Thesz via Submission. Thesz submitted to Bockwinkel's third sequential BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER primary finisher at the 18:00 minute mark.
Pre-match, Lou Thesz and Nick Bockwinkel had at a huge silent staredown right square in the middle of the cell block, greatly piquing everyone's interest - but both were very careful and cautious of each other; post-match, Thesz confronted Bockwinkel and told him, "I saw you...you know...with the other...6 or 7...and y'all gotta a...big...suprise...comin you're way"...and as Thesz left the ring area, Bockwinkel replied, "Not true...old man...but if I was...I wouldn't give two shits anyway"...which made Thesz smile some...
4. Greg Valentine vs Roy Heffernan w/Wild Red Berry - Saturday 1:10 PM:
Greg Valentine defeated Roy Heffernan via Pinfall. Valentine pinned Heffernan with a viscious Falling Elbow Hammer at the 3:30 minute mark.
Pre-match, Roy Heffernan with Wild Red Berry standing guard outside the cell, tried to assault Valentine however when the light came on - he realized he was in Johnny's cell, not Greg's - and they never saw Greg racing towards them from behind with a steel chair until it was far too late, Johnny was so proud; post-match, as Wild Red Berry tried to revive Heffernan and Al Costello arrived, so too did Johnny Valentine...who had broken off a portion of a bar from his cell...since Heffernan still had little birdies flying around his head...The Fabulous Kangaroos retreated...
5. Bruiser Brody vs John Tolos - Saturday 1:18:30 PM:
Bruiser Brody defeated John Tolos via Pinfall. Brody pinned Tolos with an absolutely ridiculous Piledriver at the 12:00 minute mark.
Pre-match, what can we say about these two, Bruiser Brody spent it destroying an abandoned building, what was left of the old warden's house - Tolos shadowed him and simply watched every single thing he did, as well as how he did them; post-match, John Tolos's brother Chris told him that, "I told you we should have ambushed his ass in the wardens house...most people can't wrestle - after a wall gets pushed over onto them", to which John Tolos responded by kneeing him in the groin...
6. Frank Gotch vs B. Brian Blair - Saturday 1:35:30 PM:
Frank Gotch defeated B. Brian Blair via Submission. Blair submitted to Gotch's crippling GOTCH TOEHOLD finisher at the 12:30 minute mark.
Pre-match, B. Brian Blair swallowed his pride and walked up to Frank Gotch in the prison yard and told him that he's a big fan and would love an autograph, Gotch stopped his sit ups long enough to simply stare Blair away without ever uttering a word; post-match, Gotch offered up his hand to help Blair off the mat, saying, "Great match" to him. Blair accepted and allowed Gotch to help hold him up for a bit until he could manage it himself.
7. Rikidozan vs Giant Baba - Saturday 1:53 PM:
Giant Baba defeated Rikidozan via Pinfall. Baba pinned a resilient Rikidozan with his Boot To Face at the 24:00 minute mark.
Pre-match, there weren't any altercations at all between these two however they did wind up racing each other around Alcatraz Island by swimming around it, when they were told about the sharks in the bay - they eliminated that activity from their exercise programs; post-match, both bowed to each other and Rikidozan made sure to tell Baba that he still swims faster than him...
8. Mr. Saito vs Tommy Rich - Saturday 2:22 PM:
Mr. Saito defeated Tommy Rich via Pinfall. Saito pinned Rich with a come back from behind SAITO SUPLEX secondary finisher at the 18:00 minute mark.
The pre-match was fairly uneventful, both Saito and Rich did know who they were up against next, but they put up a front that they were both unfazed by it and that they were totally ready & to either one of them, it didn't matter about who they had to step into the ring with next; post-match, both bowed to each other and nodded in appreciation and respect...as both competitors definitely gave it they're all...
Coming up next - first round singles tournament match results for matches numbered 9 to 16.
Have a good one!

I think Blair would feel hard done by in his defeat. I mean, he's the toughest guy ever. He beat up Bobby Duncum, owned the Iron Sheik....
