Old School will get their revenge. Hey TTX! I wouldn't be suprised. Gotch and Hackenschmidt really gave The Road Warriors a run for their money - it was a great match. It's going to be a long competition and I would love to see Old School if not win it, then drive the rest of them crazy! Always grateful for your support brother!

It's creative minds like this one that I envy a whole lot on here! My poor tired mind can't conceive anything like this This should be a great fed from what I've seen so far Hey awsomsinger! You are far too kind my friend. And right back atcha! I am hoping this is a good time and worth the read. These 24 are my favorite Legends. Let's hope they don't disappoint. Thanks again!

LOL Thank you for the mention of my LWF Super World Tour fed Bri! that was great. Love your idea here, very creative man The Sheik swallowing poor Destroyer's chard bit of skin was a sick move at the end lol. I'll be sure to knock four times on the backdoor! Hey victoryroll84! I'm very glad you dug the well deserved nod my friend. When it comes to The Shiek I always try to make sure he does something that gives me the creeps. I also figure that regardless of where The Shiek is, he would still be and could be depended upon to always be unilaterally crazy. Out of the 24 Legends in this (me faves) there is one other that I would say is close in spirit with him and just as dangerous. Matter of fact they form a tag team in this too. I am anxious to see how they do. And if they can't control themselves, which is a distinct possibility, then how much carnage there will be lol. Thanks man!

What we got here another Bri original here? Here we go Alice down the rabbit hole one more time... We're late for an important date... no time, no time... we got to hurry... We're late we're late! LOL I hear you brother Crossbones! Yes sir, strap on your crash helmet and put on your safety goggles! This church will never be the same again. I'm hoping that this side endeavor poses some interesting questions & answers some others that I've had about these wrestlers. The second card is soon to be posted and I hope it's worth the read. I'll catch that rabbit someday lol.

Bri"What happens in Basement Brawl...stays in Basement Brawl" Interesting concept and having the Road Warriors show up kinda changes the meta... they're dangerous! Now...do the combatants fight in a ring or are they put in the basement and fo at it? I can see down the line where something like Vader sticking Magnum TA into a industrial dryer yelling... "you like cycles...welcome to the spin cycle b$*%h!" Will drop in again sir...

I feel like this takes place in a basement where the ring is in the ground and on eye level with fans

------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Basement Brawls - Month 1 - Card 2: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
January 6th St. Anslems Church 4th Avenue & 82nd Street Brooklyn, N.Y. Start Time - 12:00 am.
Match Results: -------------------------------
1. Andre the Giant defeated Masked Superstar - A bloodied Andre forced Superstar to Submit to his Bearhug at the 12:00 minute mark.
2. The Soldiers of Fortune - Mil Mascaras & The Destroyer defeated We Can Do This All Day - Lou Thesz & William Muldoon via Pinfall as Mascaras pinned Thesz after his CROSSBODY ATTACK secondary finisher at the 15:00 minute mark.
3. Buddy Rogers defeated Johnny Saint via Submission - Saint submitted to Rogers FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE finisher at the 3:00 minute mark.
Match Notes: ------------------------------
1. It should be noted emphatically that Andre had to come from way behind in order to win this contest. The Superstar was absolutely relentless and nearly forced Andre to sumit three times to his Sleeper and brought Andre within half a count from being pinned by his ring shaking SPINNING NECKBREAKER primary finisher.
2. This one really equated to Lou Thesz vs Mil Mascaras as they both tore into each other straight out of the gate. In addition, both prevented each other from making defensive tags. Lou Thesz's offense was capped by his GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP primary finisher but Mil Mascaras got a second wind and turned it around in a hurry. The Destroyers chop block prevented William Muldoon from interfering.
3. Remember what I said about no showboating? Well I spoke too soon when it came to Nature Boy Buddy Rogers lol. Even with no audience...the man just can't help himself. A short but amusing match as Johnny Saint attacked Buddy Rogers during Rogers opening strut and was just about to say, maybe proclaim is a better word, something. Well this infuriated Rogers to no end, not to mention Saint breaking Rogers offensive rhythym by "Turtling Up", which made Rogers shake his head from side to side in bewildered rage.
Observations: -----------------------------------
1. The Superstar came out first and wound up waiting a while in the ring, and then I'll never forget it, all I heard next were monstrous footsteps...and then the overwhelming sight of Andre. If he's in this, then how can he loose? Well he just came amazingly close to losing tonight. Nobody told The Superstar that Andre is a Wonder of the World, and this is going to be a long year. I'm also thinking, I wonder who will be Andre's tag team partner? And doesn't that now also completely rock that competition as well?
2. The talent that has signed on here just staggers me. Truth be told, from my experiences watching these guys compete, I've never seen them so no nonsense and so focused. There's no showboating, it's all business. Except for The Nature Boy.
3. Just after the bell sounded, another interesting thing happened. The referee almost reversed the call and awarded Saint a technical victory because Rogers at first refused to release his finisher. Then out of nowhere, Andre the Giant stormed the ring, frightens Rogers away and helps Saint leave the ring. Are Andre and Saint a tag team? Or is that just Andre being Andre? I can't tell.

Another wonderful concept from our good friend, Bri! Thanks for the shout-out to my Rebel Wrestling fed, brother. You're welcome to use any of my ideas for The Basement Brawls. After only one match, the "Nature Boy" takes his rightful place on top of the leader board where he belongs--I dare anyone to try and knock him off! I just dare them! Love the pairing of Lou Thesz & William Muldoon as We Can Do This All Day. I remember referencing the Captain America quote in comparing Thesz to Steve Rogers in your Alcatraz fed. I can't wait to see what other surprises you have in store for us. By the way, did you get the name Paul Maple from T.M. Maple, the long-time writer to comic book letter columns?

Andre vs Superstar sounded like a lot of fun. Mascaras and Destroyer is definitely a tough team.
